About Finom Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we're on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform. We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe. Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. At Finom, we're not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we're empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole. Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business. The Role For hundreds of thousands of European entrepreneurs, our iOS app is Finom. It's how they check their cash flow over morning coffee, approve a payment between client meetings, and freeze a card the moment something looks off. We're mobile-first by conviction, not convenience — the app isn't a companion to the "real" product; it is the product. And as an AI-native platform, the features you build increasingly carry intelligence inside them: AI-powered accounting, smart categorization, and agentic workflows that quietly save business owners hours every week. When you ship something great, someone somewhere feels it the same day. That's why we're not looking for someone to implement tickets. We're looking for a Senior Mobile (iOS) Engineer who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, challenges assumptions when needed, and proactively spots opportunities to create better outcomes. You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team — Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product — that owns a shared product area end-to-end. No handoff culture, no "not my layer": everyone in the team is solving the same customer problem, and you'll shape solutions from the first product conversation to the moment the feature is live in users' hands. Fewer silos means more flow — and real, end-to-end ownership. How We Build Agentic development is table stakes at Finom — for every craft, mobile included. Our engineers work with Claude Code and similar harnesses daily, and we've made it a first-class part of how the company operates, not an individual productivity hack. We follow a shared SDLC approach built around Spec-Driven Development (SDD): features start as clear, reviewable specs that both humans and AI agents execute against, powered by a shared AI development toolbelt and a growing library of skills, rules, and context maintained across guilds. You won't be figuring out AI-assisted development alone — you'll join an engineering organization that has already invested in the infrastructure, standards, and shared practices, and you'll be expected to use them, improve them, and raise the bar for others. What You'll Do What You'll Do Design and build new features for our iOS application, used daily by business owners across Europe: multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions and payments, physical and virtual card issuance and control, and AI-powered accounting automation. Own outcomes, not just code. You'll follow your features into analytics, jump into customer issues without being prompted, and care about whether what you shipped actually moved the needle. Build polished, responsive UIs with UIKit and SwiftUI — in a financial app, trust is built (or lost) in the details. Drive technical decisions within your domain, discuss trade-offs openly with product managers, and explain constraints clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Raise the bar on engineering quality — automated testing, thorough code reviews, and mobile security best practices are non-negotiable in a regulated fintech. Mentor the engineers around you and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team. Who You Are Who You Are You're pragmatic, learn quickly, and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. Above all, you're curious — about the product, the users, the business, and how your technical decisions impact all three. Curiosity. You want to understand the "why" behind every feature. You ask what problem it solves, question whether there's a simpler path, and explore how your decisions ripple into product, users, and revenue. Business acumen. You connect your work to company objectives. You understand the "so what" behind every decision, and you'd rather ship the feature that moves the right metric than the one that's merely interesting to build. Communication. You communicate clearly and concisely in English across technical and non-technical audiences — from fellow engineers to PMs to business stakeholders — and you genuinely enjoy the dynamics of a cross-functional team. T-shapedness. Your iOS craft runs deep, but your curiosity runs wide. You'll peek at the backend contracts, ask questions about the ML models, and dive into analytics to understand how your features perform. Ownership. You take responsibility not just for your code, but for the outcomes. You move without being prompted — whether that's improving team processes, jumping on a production issue, or mentoring a colleague. Your Experience Includes 5+ years of commercial iOS development with strong knowledge of Swift. Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Practical experience with the VIPER architectural pattern and the Coordinator navigation pattern — and the judgment to know when a simpler approach serves the product better. Excellent knowledge of UIKit and experience (or a strong desire to grow) with SwiftUI. Experience with layout development in code, particularly using SnapKit or similar tools. Ability to write unit and UI tests. Confidence with Git / GitLab, including setting up and maintaining GitLab CI/CD. Hands-on experience with agentic development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily workflow — writing prompts, configuring rules and skills, and critically evaluating AI-generated output with tests, linters, and review. This is table stakes for all engineering crafts at Finom, mobile included. A builder's mentality: you care deeply about shipping great products, not just writing great code. Nice to Have Nice to Have Background in fintech or financial products — you understand the stakes of working in a regulated environment. Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain). Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing rendering bottlenecks and hitting smooth 60/120fps on iOS. Hands-on work with performance tooling: Instruments, XCTest, or similar. Published apps on the App Store you're proud of. An active GitHub profile with code you're happy to share. Deeper agentic engineering experience beyond daily tool use — setting up agent environments and harnesses, authoring reusable skills and behavioral rules, or contributing to a team's shared AI development practices. Understanding of model capabilities and limitations — knowing which model fits which task and how to manage the context window effectively. Awareness of AI security risks — prompt injection, data leakage, and safe handling of untrusted inputs in agentic workflows. Our mission We're making Africa the first cashless continent. In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash. We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in... How you'll help us achieve it We're looking for an experienced security engineer who's independent, excited about getting things done, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll primarily be responsible for our application security, working with our product teams to work on new systems to enhance our security posture. Our customers trust us with their money, and you'll be at the forefront of making sure we retain that trust! This broadly scoped role will allow you to get your hands on many different types of security projects, from direct application security to helping our infrastructure team think about security for our databases. As we integrate AI-powered agents into our engineering and operations workflows, you'll help define and enforce the guardrails around how we use them safely. This includes securing agentic tooling against prompt injection, excessive permissions, and data exfiltration — and building the policies and technical controls to govern AI usage across the company. Some experience with common industry certifications like ISO-27001 and PCI-DSS would be beneficial, although you won't be expected to run or oversee audits. Our to-do list changes constantly, but here are some recent projects: Design our agentic SIEM/SecOps pipelines to evaluate and tune AI-driven triage, alerting, and response automation Secure our MCP integrations against prompt injection, tool misuse, and credential exposure Tune and maintain code security review agents tailored to Wave's codebase, threat model, and regulatory environment Develop internal AI governance standards covering acceptable use, data handling, and audit requirements for LLM-powered tools Centralise application-level login and permissions enforcement including privileged access management Rework our approach to secrets management with ephemeral secrets and tighter access scopes Security review of our public-facing APIs Key details You can work remotely from anywhere (between UTC -5 and +4) with reliable internet access. Wave covers travel once per year to one of our operating countries in Africa, as well as a yearly stipend of $1200 to meet with coworkers. Our salaries are competitive and are calculated using a transparent formula. For this role, depending on your level of experience, we offer a salary of up to $185,800 USD (or local equivalent), plus a generous equity. We run performance reviews twice a year and award bonuses or promotions to strong performers who have been with the company for more than six months Major benefits: Subsidized health insurance for you and your dependents and retirement contributions (both vary from country-to-country). 6 months fully paid parental leave and subsidized fertility assistance. Flexible vacation, with most folks taking between 30-40 days per year. $10,000 annual charitable donation matching. Yearly travel to one of our African operating countries. Requirements Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of it spent in a security-related role Strong Experience with Python. Fluent English. You might be a good fit if you Are excited about finding the right balance between security and velocity. Work to make things easier for the next engineer who will touch your code. Always try to improve as a programmer and colleague. Are interested in building governance frameworks for AI usage in a regulated financial services environment Have experimented with LLM-based security tooling and understand both the promise and the failure modes Push through hard problems without giving up. Have experience remediating non-conformities. Are interested in security-focused source code review and penetration testing. Have an interest in growing and mentoring a team. Set a new pulse for healthcare! We are looking for a Senior Inference Engineer to join the ML Platform (TIGER) team in AI & Machine Learning . Your mission will be to power Doctolib's AI-driven healthcare products — from Consultation Assistant to Phone Assistant and Health Companion — by owning the self-hosted LLM serving platform that keeps the most sensitive patient data within infrastructure Doctolib controls. You will build and operate the shared foundations that every AI feature team relies on: deploying, tuning, and scaling open-weight models across our GPU fleet, contributing directly to faster, safer, and more cost-efficient AI for care teams and patients across Europe. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. What you'll do Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Build the shared LLM serving foundations with MLOps engineers — define the serving stack, GPU capacity planning, and deployment automation for open-weight models (Gemma, Mistral, Llama, Qwen, and their fine-tuned variants) on Ray Serve / Anyscale, while shaping the evolution toward Kubernetes-based orchestration Own the model registry and promotion path — establish clear processes for versioning, validating, and promoting models into production, benchmark performance and output quality under realistic workloads, and maintain the curated model catalog together with the Agents Platform team Optimize inference performance and efficiency — operate and tune serving engines (vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT-LLM) to reduce time-to-first-token, inter-token latency, and cost per token through batching, caching, quantization, and parallelism strategies across our GPU fleet (L4 to H200) Own production reliability and disaster recovery — define SLOs, run load tests before launches, implement safe rollouts, rollbacks, and autoscaling, and participate in on-call and incident response Make serving performance and costs measurable — build Datadog dashboards, alerting, and cost reporting to track latency, GPU utilization, and inference spend, and identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency Keep the inference stack secure, compliant, and evolving — work with Security and Privacy on network isolation, data residency, and auditability, while continuously assessing new models, serving engines (such as SGLang), and GPU generations Who you are Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply. You'll be a great fit if you: Have 5+ years of software or computer engineering experience, including hands-on production experience with at least one LLM serving engine (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TGI, or Triton) — ideally having chosen, introduced, tuned, or scaled one in production, not just run it with defaults Are proficient in Python and Terraform, with a solid understanding of transformer inference mechanics: prefill vs. decode, KV cache, batching strategies, and why a model is compute- or memory-bound on a given GPU Have strong experience running GPU workloads on Kubernetes or a managed Ray / Anyscale platform, and a performance engineering mindset — you design reproducible benchmarks, read profiler output, and back decisions with numbers Are comfortable owning production reliability: observability, incident response, and on-call are a natural part of the role Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, high agency, a pragmatic build-vs-buy approach, and are comfortable working in a scope that is still taking shape Are fluent in English It would be fantastic if you: Have experience with distributed serving frameworks (KServe, llm-d, NVIDIA Dynamo), including disaggregated prefill/decode or KV-cache-aware routing, or with serving Mixture-of-Experts, multimodal models, or many LoRA adapters on shared base models Have GPU kernel experience or deep profiling skills (CUDA, Triton, Nsight), or have contributed to open-source inference projects Have experience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, public sector) and with frameworks such as GDPR, HDS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 Our stack Programming languages: Python, plus comfort reading/debugging a systems language (C++, Rust, or Go) Cloud providers: GCP / AWS / Azure Serving orchestration: Ray Serve / Anyscale (GCP), with Kubernetes (GKE) + GPU scheduling as an emerging parallel target LLM serving engines (in production): vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT-LLM (also evaluating SGLang and other emerging engines) Models: Self-hosted open-weight LLMs (Gemma, Mistral, Llama, Qwen), fine-tuned in-house Experiment tracking & model registry: MLflow GenAI gateway: LiteLLM LLM evaluation & observability: Braintrust GPUs: NVIDIA L4, A10G, L40S, RTX 6000 Pro, A100 (40GB/80GB), H200 Container / Infra as code: Docker, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize Observability: Datadog Data warehouse / storage: GCP BigQuery / GCS / AWS S3 And any other tool you deem relevant!
