Our Mission At Laelaps AI, we believe robotics is entering a transformative decade, much like the arrival of the internet. Advances in AI, cloud computing, and hardware are reshaping what autonomous systems can do. Our mission is to build the intelligent software that powers physical security in the real world - enabling robots and sensors to handle dangerous and critical tasks that humans shouldn't have to. By engineering the orchestration layer for intelligent security, we aim to create a world that is safer, more secure, and more resilient. We're a strong founding team based in Zurich, backed by visionary investors and advisors. We are engineering the future of security today! The Role As a Software Engineer intern on Robot Autonomy, you'll work on the software that runs on our legged security robots: how they perceive their surroundings, know where they are, and move through real customer sites on patrol. You'll join the team that owns everything on the robot and take a well-scoped problem from first experiment to a result that runs on hardware. The role focuses on building software for the robot autonomy stack that runs in the field. We'll agree your focus area with you during the interview process, based on your strengths and the team's priorities, and we expect you to own it from day one. This role is hands-on. You'll work with real sensor data and field logs, test on physical robots, and see first-hand why a robot that works in the lab can still fail on a live site at night, in rain, or after the layout changes. What You'll Work On Build and improve components of the on-robot autonomy stack, such as perception, localisation and state estimation, or planning and navigation, depending on your background and the team's priorities. Integrate sensors such as lidar, cameras and IMU, and work with the data they produce in day, night and challenging weather. Reproduce issues from field deployments using logs and simulation, find the root cause, and help fix it at the right layer. Design repeatable tests and clear metrics that show whether a change holds up across routes, lighting, weather and site layouts. Test your work on physical robots, and join site visits to see how the system behaves in real operating conditions. Apply solid engineering practices: code review, version control, reproducible experiments and clear documentation. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a strong robotics student who wants to see their work run on real robots, not only in simulation. You don't need every item below, but you should meet the core requirements and bring depth in at least one area of the autonomy stack. You'll join a small team that moves fast, expects ownership, and holds work to the standard of running on live customer sites. Your Background Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD, or completed a Master's degree within the last year, in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Demonstrated depth in at least one of perception, localisation and state estimation, or motion planning and navigation, through a thesis, research or a substantial project. Strong coding skills in Python. Hands-on experience with ROS 2. Comfortable using Linux, Docker and Git in your workflows. Nice to Have Experience working with physical robots, ideally mobile or legged. Experience with lidar or camera processing, SLAM, or sensor fusion. Experience with robotics simulators such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo or MuJoCo. Publications or competition results in robotics (ICRA, IROS, RSS, CoRL). What We Offer Ownership: you are able to ship products and deliver project end-to-end. Mission: autonomous security that keeps people and critical sites safe, including in defence. Career path: a ground-floor seat with real runway. Prove your value and you will not have barriers to grow. Team: work directly with PhD-level co-founders in AI, Robotics, and Physics, alongside a strong (and fun) founding team. Compensation: Competitive equity/salary package Culture: International founding team that is serious about building but does not take itself too seriously. Find Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow

About The Role We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with real technical depth and an AI-first way of working . You'll own a product area end to end: finding problems worth solving, shaping the solution, taking it from 0 to 1 and growing it from there. You understand architecture, you've written code, you know how databases work, and you speak engineering fluently. Your main job is product. The technical depth is what lets you move faster and make better calls. AI isn't a feature we're adding. It's how we work and how we build. Expect roughly 70% product and 30% engineering, with full accountability for results. Your Mission Product direction: set the vision, strategy and roadmap for your area. Decide what to build, why, and how success is measured. 0-to-1 delivery: take new products and features from problem discovery to launch and iteration. Discovery and validation: work directly with users and data to understand real problems, not assumed ones. Run interviews, usability tests and experiments before committing to build. Metrics and outcomes: define, instrument and track the KPIs for your area. Use product analytics to find friction, prioritise the highest-impact work, and shut down what doesn't work. Engineering partnership: understand architectural trade-offs, review technical approaches and unblock decisions. Write specs engineers actually want to read: clear, technical and opinionated. AI and automation: find where LLMs and agents create real product value, build the case, and ship it. Fast prototyping: validate ideas with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, agents), scripts, no-code, or whatever gets you to the answer quickest. Hands-on work: write queries, dig into data pipelines, spin up prototypes, and open a PR when it makes sense. Prioritisation: balance user impact, business value, effort and regulatory constraints, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics and business owners to ship continuously. Your Profile 5+ years in product management or product engineering with strong technical involvement, and a track record of taking products from 0 to live use with real users. AI-native: you use LLMs, vibe coding and agents daily, and you've applied LLMs or agentic AI to real products. Strong in Python or a similar language, enough to build things yourself. Comfortable with SQL, git, databases and evaluating system architecture. Fluent in product analytics and research: you define metrics, read data yourself, and validate through interviews, usability testing and experiments. Strong grasp of UX. You can take a complex flow and make it simple. Experience shipping with Design and Engineering in an agile environment. Clear communicator in English and self-directed. You can explain technical decisions to non-technical people, write specs engineers respect, and don't wait to be told what matters. Nice to Have Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field. Experience in fintech or another regulated industry. Early-stage startup background. Hands-on LLM orchestration or prompt engineering. Background in software engineering, QA or product analytics. Why Join Vivid? We have a hybrid model in our Limassol and Berlin offices, or fully remote outside office locations. We support relocation to Cyprus (visa, package) when needed. AI-first culture – we use it every day, not just talk about it. Learning & development budget to support your professional growth. Fully paid vacation and sick leave. Sports compensation. Real growth prospects, significant responsibility, and the ability to make an immediate impact from day one. Compensation range Final compensation is determined individually, based on your experience, skills and the scope of the role, assessed against objective, gender-neutral criteria. Beyond licensing, you will become the trusted legal partner for CEO, founders, leadership and teams across the company, covering IP and patents, operational contracts, data and AI, compliance and corporate matters alongside specialist external counsel. Within a year, you will have shaped how legal works at AQEMIA: issues will be mapped and anticipated, processes will be practical, and leadership will rely on you for well-judged legal advice. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you'll have a rare chance to sit at the centre of the deals that bring AI-discovered drug candidates to partners, and to grow well beyond licensing into a broad in-house role. Qualifications Law degree or equivalent professional legal qualification. 5+ years of legal experience , including time at a law firm in a life sciences practice. In-house experience at a biotech or pharma company is a strong plus. Licensing: hands-on experience drafting and negotiating biotech or pharma licensing agreements yourself, not only coordinating external counsel. Deal knowledge: strong understanding of licensing mechanics and IP ownership in drug discovery (scope, exclusivity, financials, termination). Communication: excellent English drafting and negotiation skills, and you can explain legal points clearly to non-lawyers. Mindset: autonomous, pragmatic and eager to learn legal topics beyond your current expertise. At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world. The Role: You will build the platform that transforms raw neuro-signals into longitudinal patient insights, effectively defining the new standard of care in neuro-critical settings. As a Senior Software Engineer within the CoVision project, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and optimising the Large Language Model software deriving actionable intelligence in our fleet of neuromonitoring products. You will bridge the gap between advanced AI research and production-ready, regulated medical software, ensuring software reliability across our deployed fleet. At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week from our new Kings Cross offices, plus a flexible work-from-home day. Responsibilities: AI Integration: Integrate an on-device LLM into the CoMind One system, connecting it to live neuromonitoring signals and building the query and response layer clinicians interact with. Model Evaluation & Reliability: Own how we measure whether the model answers the right clinical questions correctly and consistently. Build the evaluation, prompting and guard-rail approaches that keep output safe to show at the bedside. Systems Performance: Optimise inference performance on constrained on-device hardware, managing latency, memory and throughput within the CoMind One system. Medical Device Software Development: Design and develop medical device software to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971, from real-time on-device behaviour through to the interfaces clinicians touch. Compliance & Cybersecurity: Ensure AI deployments meet cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards, including FDA guidance for AI/ML-enabled devices. Reliability & Collaboration: Keep the deployed fleet reliable, and work directly with hardware, product and clinical teams to diagnose and resolve issues quickly. AI is fundamental to our culture — it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively. Skills & Experience: 7+ years of hands-on software engineering. Comfortable working in C++, with Python alongside it. Practical experience using LLMs as an applied tool: prompting, guardrails, RAG, evaluation, and reasoning about model behaviour. You've built, or extended a model and integrated it meaningfully into a real product, close to the surface users actually touch. Experience integrating third-party libraries or complex components into a larger system, ideally performance-sensitive or resource-constrained. Comfortable reasoning about performance: latency, memory and throughput on constrained hardware. Strong with Git and CI/CD. Nice to have Edge / on-device AI: running models on constrained hardware such as Jetson, Android, iPad, Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers. Hands-on with llama.cpp or similar, and evaluating small on-device models (e.g. Qwen, Gemma, MedGemma, custom). Some hardware exposure: anyone doing genuine edge AI tends to have this. Cloud experience (AWS), particularly running LLMs in a cloud environment. A background in a regulated or safety-critical industry Benefits: Company equity plan so all employees share in the success of the company Salary-sacrifice pension scheme Private medical, dental and vision insurance (medical history disregarded) Group life assurance at 4x annual income Comprehensive mental health support, including unlimited access to 1:1 sessions with trained professionals Unlimited holiday allowance (+ bank holidays) and one week of remote working per quarter Lunch voucher (£10) every day for JustEat and free dinner on those days where you need to work later Twice weekly deliveries of fresh fruit and an extensive selection of snacks and drinks YuLife subscription, allowing you to turn your daily steps and meditation into discounts at a range of stores DISCLAIMER - We use AI notetaking tools to transcribe interviews for internal review. About Letly Letly is the AI-Native operating company built for the home. We believe the home should be autonomously run and we're building the software that will run all rental properties end-to-end. The backend at Letly is technically difficult on purpose as the operational realities of handling property and money are messy. But the foundations are already there: 10+ backend and AI services, a monorepo on the frontend, GitOps and Kubernetes on the infra side. You'd be building on solid ground rather than firefighting a fragile prototype — with a lot still to build. We've raised a $4m pre-seed and are a small, high-agency, engineering-oriented team, growing revenue at >100% month-over-month. We're hiring to facilitate this aggressive growth. Our stack Backend — a microservice architecture in NestJS and TypeScript, with Python and FastAPI for the AI agent services. Data — MongoDB Atlas and Redis. Event-driven — services coordinate over Pub/Sub rather than calling each other directly. Infra — Kubernetes on GCP (GKE), deployed via ArgoCD. Frontend — Angular in an Nx monorepo. How we build Small, well-factored services with clear boundaries. Tests are written alongside the code, not after it — they're what lets us move quickly without breaking things that handle money. Trunk-based CI/CD: you ship to production and own it, with observability and clean rollbacks. Lean frameworks, readable code. We work on a wide spectrum of technical challenges from money movement to operational logistics (scheduling, bookings, access) mediated over event-driven systems, to building around AI agents in production that are capable of executing autonomously under the hood. What we're looking for You've built and operated production backend systems that real users depended on. We care about the scope you've owned and how you owned it. First Class or high 2:1 (or international equivalent) in Computer Science or a relevant technical field. Fluency in at least one backend language and framework. You don't need to arrive fluent in our stack: we hire engineers who've built production systems with any robust framework — NestJS/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, Go, Kotlin, C#/.NET or Ruby on Rails — and can ramp into TypeScript fast. System design: where a service boundary belongs, what a design trades away, how services coordinate — events, queues, retries that are safe to repeat — and how it holds up once it's live. Fundamentals: concurrency, HTTP and API design, auth, data modelling and transactions (document or relational), changing a live schema safely, and what happens when a call fails. Tests: you treat tests as part of shipping, you work comfortably in a shared trunk, and you can quickly understand a large codebase you didn't write. You use AI heavily and still know exactly what you shipped. Generated code has the same quality bar as what you wrote by hand: you can explain every line, you've thought about the constraints it has to bear, and you don't merge anything you couldn't have written yourself. How you work Hyper-focus on detail. These systems move money and manage assets; we have low tolerance for "mostly right". First-principles reasoning. You take a hard problem apart rather than reaching for the nearest familiar pattern. Communication clarity. You can explain a complex trade-off to another engineer, and to someone who doesn't write software — because here you'll have to do both. Ownership mentality. You own the outcome, not the ticket: start to production, without being chased. Collaborative. Teams change the world, not individuals. You make the next engineer better and faster. Adaptability. You do well in a fast-moving environment where requirements shift under you. Learning velocity. You pick up new paradigms quickly and don't need long to get productive in unfamiliar territory. Quality-obsessed. Not just the code — the tests, the docs, the handover, the thing you leave behind. Our process We aim to complete end-to-end in under a week. Screening — 30 minutes with the CEO Skills — 45 minutes with the CEO & CTO Problem solving — 60 minutes with the CTO Slope — 45 minutes with the CEO Offer — references and a decision in days Benefits On top of base salary, equity and annual bonus, you're also entitled to: Private health insurance Paid gym membership Three meals a day , in office Ubers home on late nights Compensation: £70K – £140K • Multiple Ranges Mid • £70K – £100K Senior • £90K – £140K Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
