About Frontier Health Frontier Health is building the system of action for healthcare: end-to-end AI co-workers that perform administrative jobs. Healthcare has an administrative crisis breaking patient care — the WHO predicts a 10 million person workforce shortfall by 2030. Administrative staff are the invisible machinery powering healthcare systems, yet they're over capacity, under-resourced, and underfunded. Care coordination runs on shadow IT: spreadsheets, paper notes, phone calls, and outdated technology. Frontier's AI co-workers fast-track the admin behind care decisions, designed to slot into the teams, processes, and tools already in place. Founded 18 months ago, we've experience deploying to over 40 hospitals. The team comes from Palantir, Google DeepMind, and Apple. We've raised $16M and were recently valued at $60M, backed by Tier One UK and international investors. What success looks like You ship high-quality product quickly and fix things you spot that are broken, from day one You proactively identify what's needed, not just what's assigned — and act on it You gather customer insight that directly translates into improvements in the core product You raise the bar on engineering quality and velocity, and contribute positively to the team's culture You solicit feedback and constantly strive to learn and grow Good-to-know information Tech stack: Python (FastAPI), JavaScript (TypeScript + React), Postgres What we offer Visa sponsorship: we are able to sponsor visas if required. Making preventive health the default for every human in Europe The mission At Lucis , we believe healthcare should be preventive, not reactive. We're building the OS for human longevity to help people add more healthy years to their lives. You can read more about who we are and how we work here . The role We've processed 200,000+ clinical tests across 4 countries with a team of 20. We're growing 10% week over week. And we're still early. We're looking for a mobile frontend engineer who treats the app as a craft, not a checklist. You care about the half-pixel, the spring curve on a transition, the way a screen feels in the hand, and you can build it. You own the mobile experience end-to-end in our monorepo, orchestrate AI to execute, and raise the bar for everyone around you. You won't spend your days writing boilerplate. You'll write specs that agents execute, review AI-generated code with a critical eye, and make decisions that compound over time. This is what engineering looks like now. If that excites you, keep reading. What we're looking for: Mobile frontend, design engineering & world-class craft A confirmed mobile engineer (8+ years) with exceptional craft and a real sensibility for design. You live in Expo and React Native, you care deeply about how the product feels , and you don't wait for designs to be ready to propose something delightful. You have also experience building native experience. You think in interactions, motion, and detail. You'll own what members touch every day: onboarding, the core app surfaces, the moments that turn a first-time visitor into someone who trusts us with their health. Your work has to be delightful and reliable on real devices, for people who decide in minutes whether to trust us. About you You're passionate about the future of human health and want your work to help people stay healthy for longer. You move quickly from idea to execution, take full ownership of what you build, and work best with talented people who care as much as you do. You thrive in fast‑moving environments, learn by doing, and value feedback as a way to continuously improve. You use AI the way others use a calculator: naturally, to go faster and think bigger. You'll fit in well if You've shipped at least one product from 0→1 and felt the difference between writing code and building a system You have 2 deep areas of expertise and can operate across the full stack when the situation demands it You write specs before you write code — precise enough that an AI agent executes correctly on the first pass You review AI-generated code with the same rigor you'd apply to a junior engineer's PR: edge cases, security gaps, design smell You bias toward shipping. A good decision today beats a perfect one next week You're genuinely interested in health — maybe you track your own biomarkers, or you're just frustrated that healthcare is still reactive We would not be a fit if You need a clearly scoped role before you can operate You measure output in lines of code written You've only worked in large orgs with dedicated infra, QA, and platform teams You optimize for stability over velocity Our current stack TypeScript monorepo · React Native · NestJS · PostgreSQL + Prisma · AWS (Terraform, Qovery) · GitHub Actions · Claude Code + Cursor The process Intro call (20 min): culture & role fit. Technical interview (30 min) At-home case study: hands-on project, delivery in 2 days. Deep dive (90 min) and team chat (on-site) Reference calls How we work We work together from our Paris hub. We're passionate about what we're building and believe the fastest way to create something exceptional is side by side. We're open to relocation support for the right individuals, and we welcome missionaries who travel to work with us in Paris on a regular basis. Rigor without ego: Audits, science, and code all deserve the same high bar. Radical ownership: Feedback loops are short; everyone contributes to building the best version of Lucis. Velocity over perfection: We ship daily and prefer a good decision today over a perfect one next week. At Lucis, AI isn't just our product, it's our engine. 100% of our teams are equipped with the best AI agents. You have carte blanche to explore and automate everything that can be, so you can focus exclusively on high-value work. Find more English Speaking Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world. The Role: You will build the platform that transforms raw neuro-signals into longitudinal patient insights, effectively defining the new standard of care in neuro-critical settings. As a Senior Software Engineer within the CoVision project, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and optimising the Large Language Model software deriving actionable intelligence in our fleet of neuromonitoring products. You will bridge the gap between advanced AI research and production-ready, regulated medical software, ensuring software reliability across our deployed fleet. At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week from our new Kings Cross offices, plus a flexible work-from-home day. Responsibilities: AI Integration: Integrate an on-device LLM into the CoMind One system, connecting it to live neuromonitoring signals and building the query and response layer clinicians interact with. Model Evaluation & Reliability: Own how we measure whether the model answers the right clinical questions correctly and consistently. Build the evaluation, prompting and guard-rail approaches that keep output safe to show at the bedside. Systems Performance: Optimise inference performance on constrained on-device hardware, managing latency, memory and throughput within the CoMind One system. Medical Device Software Development: Design and develop medical device software to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971, from real-time on-device behaviour through to the interfaces clinicians touch. Compliance & Cybersecurity: Ensure AI deployments meet cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards, including FDA guidance for AI/ML-enabled devices. Reliability & Collaboration: Keep the deployed fleet reliable, and work directly with hardware, product and clinical teams to diagnose and resolve issues quickly. AI is fundamental to our culture — it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively. Skills & Experience: 7+ years of hands-on software engineering. Comfortable working in C++, with Python alongside it. Practical experience using LLMs as an applied tool: prompting, guardrails, RAG, evaluation, and reasoning about model behaviour. You've built, or extended a model and integrated it meaningfully into a real product, close to the surface users actually touch. Experience integrating third-party libraries or complex components into a larger system, ideally performance-sensitive or resource-constrained. Comfortable reasoning about performance: latency, memory and throughput on constrained hardware. Strong with Git and CI/CD. Nice to have Edge / on-device AI: running models on constrained hardware such as Jetson, Android, iPad, Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers. Hands-on with llama.cpp or similar, and evaluating small on-device models (e.g. Qwen, Gemma, MedGemma, custom). Some hardware exposure: anyone doing genuine edge AI tends to have this. Cloud experience (AWS), particularly running LLMs in a cloud environment. A background in a regulated or safety-critical industry Benefits: Company equity plan so all employees share in the success of the company Salary-sacrifice pension scheme Private medical, dental and vision insurance (medical history disregarded) Group life assurance at 4x annual income Comprehensive mental health support, including unlimited access to 1:1 sessions with trained professionals Unlimited holiday allowance (+ bank holidays) and one week of remote working per quarter Lunch voucher (£10) every day for JustEat and free dinner on those days where you need to work later Twice weekly deliveries of fresh fruit and an extensive selection of snacks and drinks YuLife subscription, allowing you to turn your daily steps and meditation into discounts at a range of stores DISCLAIMER - We use AI notetaking tools to transcribe interviews for internal review.
