Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Our client is a privately held real estate investment firm that acquires, develops, and manages multi-tenant retail centers and self-storage assets across the Southeast. As FP&A Manager, you'll turn market data, lease rolls, and operating results into clear forecasts that guide every acquisition, development, and capital decision. Your work will decide which deals the firm pursues and how it protects NOI as the portfolio grows. Performance Objectives Deliver a rolling 36-month cash-flow model for every new acquisition within 10 business days of LOI. Each model shows IRR, equity multiple, and downside scenarios against a 12%+ unlevered return threshold. Produce monthly variance reports explaining actual vs. budget NOI by property within 3 days of close, with at least three actionable cost or occupancy levers each cycle. Build and maintain a portfolio-level dashboard tracking occupancy, rent growth, and cap-ex spend, so the investment committee can reallocate capital within 48 hours of a material change. Lead the annual budget process so that 100% of property-level operating budgets are finalized and loaded by mid-November, with owner-approved assumptions documented. Partner with leasing and operations to quantify the financial impact of major leases and renovations within 5 days. This supports go/no-go decisions that grow same-store NOI by 4%+ annually. Create a standardized underwriting template that cuts first-pass model time by 30% and captures retail and self-storage drivers such as unit mix, CAM recovery, and tenant sales. Environment & Resources You'll report to the CFO and work daily with acquisitions, asset management, and third-party property managers. Tools include Excel, Argus, Yardi, and Power BI. You'll have dedicated analyst support and a travel budget for site visits. Decisions are made by a lean investment committee that values speed and precision over bureaucracy. Essential Qualifications 5+ years building and defending real estate cash-flow models that were used to close transactions or set annual budgets. Retail or self-storage experience is preferred. Proven ability to reconcile actual operating statements to forecasts and find the 2–3 drivers that move NOI by more than 5%. Hands-on experience with Argus or an equivalent tool, and the discipline to keep models audit-ready for lenders and equity partners. A track record of presenting concise investment memos to owners or committees that led to approved capital deployments. Comfort turning lease abstracts, CAM estimates, and construction budgets into live financial scenarios without waiting for perfect data. Why This Role Direct influence on every acquisition and recapitalization in a focused, growing portfolio of grocery-anchored retail and climate-controlled self-storage. A small team with high ownership, where your models are used the same week you build them. Exposure to both third-party management and in-house development, giving you a view of the full asset life cycle. A clear path to Director of Finance as the portfolio scales.

About Foresight Foresight helps leaders running infrastructure capital programmes move from reactive project delivery to proactive control of risk and outcomes. We're building AI-driven software that continuously analyses complex schedules and surfaces the signals teams need to make better, faster decisions. Construction is one of the least digitised industries in the world. We're building tools that don't meaningfully exist today, solving problems few teams have attempted at this scale. Our mission: give every team the clarity and confidence to deliver projects on time, every time. Because in high-stakes construction, the real risk isn't complexity — it's being too late to act. We recently raised a $25M Series A led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from Creandum (who led our Seed), isai Build, i2bf Global Ventures, and Somersault Ventures. Revenue has tripled every year since 2023, and we're scaling from 40 to 80 people over the next 12 months. The Role As Finance Lead, you'll build Foresight's in-house finance function from the ground up — budgeting, forecasting, accounting and controls, and the systems that support all of it. You'll be our first senior finance hire, replacing fractional support (a fractional CFO, fractional FP&A, and an outside accounting firm) with a real in-house function you own. You'll partner directly with our co-founders and Chief of Staff to give the business — and our board — clear, reliable financial visibility for the first time. What You'll Do Own Foresight's budget and forecast end-to-end, running the annual and quarterly planning cadence Own the metrics that matter — ARR, net revenue retention, CAC, burn, and runway — and drive real decisions off the trends, not just report them Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Product to evaluate unit economics and the ROI of major spend Own the monthly close, cash management, and runway tracking, managing vendor relationships and bringing work in-house over time Establish and continuously enhance the financial controls and policies a scaling company needs Stand up a scalable finance stack — ERP/accounting, billing, FP&A, expense, and revenue recognition tooling — chosen and implemented by you Define Foresight's finance operating rhythm from scratch, then hire and mentor a small team as the business scales Give the executive team and the board clear, comprehensive financial tracking and visibility into runway and unit economics Goals for the Role (illustrative, not exhaustive) Established budgeting and planning process with a regular review cadence Clear, comprehensive financial tracking for the executive team A reliable, faster monthly close A defined finance tech stack implemented and adopted Clear visibility into runway and unit economics Requirements Professional Qualifications 8+ years in finance with real depth in FP&A and enterprise SaaS business models Experience as the senior finance hire at an early- or growth-stage company — you've built this function before, not just worked within one Experience with international businesses and cross-border transactions, and comfort operating across globally distributed, cross-cultural teams Strong command of SaaS metrics and unit economics, with the ability to translate them for non-finance leaders A builder's mindset — comfortable creating process, models, and systems from scratch in real ambiguity, and happy to be hands-on Direct experience selecting and implementing finance systems (accounting/ERP, billing, FP&A tooling) Comfortable driving discovery with senior stakeholders without a clear brief FP&A background with consulting pedigree (e.g. Deloitte) is a plus, not a requirement Personal Characteristics High-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces high ownership Direct and transparent communicator, comfortable giving and receiving feedback to drive rapid improvement Entrepreneurial thinker with an "earned trust" mindset — delivers results autonomously across global time zones Adaptable operator, comfortable with ambiguity, makes decisions in a fact-based manner Intellectually agile — stays ahead of the organization's needs and is willing to challenge assumptions Explicitly Not Looking For Someone whose focus is investor relations or a traditional CFO-only remit Candidates whose entire background is large companies with a narrow functional focus Benefits Real ownership from day one. This isn't a layer-3-in-a-big-org role. You see a problem, you own it. Your decisions will play out in weeks, not years, and materialize in steel and concrete Work directly with the founders. Close access to experienced, mission-driven leadership who are leading academic voices on why mega-projects fail, and have real-world scars to match The momentum is real. Revenue has tripled every year since 2023. We're becoming the category leader, with the gap widening every quarter. This is already happening, not a future bet Backed to build properly. A $25M Series A gives us the runway to do this right. We're only just getting started A blank slate to build on. You're not stepping into a legacy finance function with entrenched process — you're building Foresight's finance function, systems, and team from scratch, with direct input from the board on what "good" looks like Total compensation range: $185,000-$250,000+, based on experience and fit against the requirements above, and equity in a fast-growing, well-funded startup Foresight is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diverse teams build better software.

Mission Statement We are Black Rifle Coffee Company, a veteran-founded company serving premium, fresh-roasted coffee to people who love America. We have a love for coffee, dogs, the outdoors, America, and most importantly, our customers! We are more than a product and more than a company; we are a culture. A culture full of motivated people who roll up their sleeves and get the job done with integrity, love, innovation, and radical transparency. Join us as we take action on our commitment to provide quality coffee and give back to the veteran and first responder communities and those who support it. Job Summary Black Rifle Coffee Company is hiring a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead planning, forecasting, and commercial, supply chain, and marketing finance. This is the senior-most FP&A seat in a publicly traded, coffee-led omnichannel CPG business selling through wholesale retail, DTC e-commerce, Amazon, and company-operated Outposts. The role owns the full planning architecture — long-range plan, annual operating plan, interim forecasts, and consolidated cash flow — is the analytical engine behind capital allocation, trade investment, marketing spend, and M&A, and authors the monthly Board financial package. This job requires a career CPG finance operator who personally commands trade promotion economics, standard cost and manufacturing variance, syndicated consumption data, marketing efficiency, and DTC unit economics. We also expect this leader to run an AI-leveraged function. BRCC is standardized on Claude; the VP is accountable for using it directly, embedding it in the team's standard work, and governing where it is and is not appropriate. Analytical capacity is expected to grow faster than headcount. Job Details Key Responsibilities Planning, Forecasting & Cash Flow Own the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan across every channel, customer, and function — modeling, scenario construction, and sensitivity analysis supporting strategic direction and capital allocation. Own the monthly and quarterly reforecast cycle with disciplined risks-and-opportunities tracking and a clean walk from prior forecast to current view; establish forecast accuracy as a measured discipline. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on the demand forecast (IBP / S&OP) and convert unit plans into financial plans. Own the consolidated rolling cash flow forecast with weekly liquidity visibility; model working capital end to end — green coffee commitments, inventory, receivables, deductions, payables — and drive cash conversion improvement against quantified targets. Model capital structure scenarios, covenant headroom, and downside liquidity; own the capex plan and post-spend return validation. Trade Promotion Optimization, Pricing & Channel Finance Plan and govern the trade budget with an ROI mindset: pre-event modeling, post-event measurement, and event-level profitability by customer; serve as business owner and super user of trade promotion management. Optimize the promotion calendar — depth, frequency, mechanic, cadence — against incremental profit rather than volume; oversee deduction management, accrual adequacy, dispute recovery, and clean gross-to-net tie-out. Own Price/Volume/Mix decomposition and lead pricing analysis including elasticity, channel price parity, and margin recovery. Own wholesale P&L analytics — customer profitability, cost to serve, trade rate, fill rate economics — and DTC financial management across the owned site and Amazon: subscription economics, cohort retention and churn, CAC and LTV, contribution margin by SKU, FBA and referral fees, Buy Box, ACoS, and 1P versus 3P mix. Lead new item financials and post-launch review. Standard Cost, Margin & Supply Chain Finance Direct the standard cost system: annual cost roll across green coffee, packaging, labor, and overhead absorption, with clear ownership of assumptions. Drive productivity savings across the supply chain. Own variance analysis — purchase price, usage and yield, labor, absorption — and translate it into operating direction rather than accounting commentary, and own the gross margin bridge at enterprise, channel, and customer level: rate, mix, cost, trade. Support procurement, co-manufacturing, and network strategy, including make-versus-buy; partner with the Controller on inventory valuation and reserves. Marketing Efficiency & Spend Governance Partner with Markeing head to plan and monitor the marketing budget with transparent ROI reporting by channel and campaign. Separate brand investment from performance spends, hold each to the correct measurement standard, and reallocate based on measured return. Syndicated Data, Board & Investor Reporting Translate NielsenIQ, Scintilla, retailer and marketplace portal data into performance insight — velocity, TDP and ACV distribution, share, base versus promoted volume, competitive movement — and use it to pressure-test demand planning assumptions. Author the monthly Board financial package: results versus plan and forecast, revenue and EBITDA bridges, channel and customer performance, cash and liquidity, forward outlook. Support the quarterly earnings cycle with IR and Accounting — guidance modeling, variance narratives, KPI definitions, analyst model reconciliation. Executive materials are causal and quantified: claim, cause, implication. M&A, New Business & Strategic Analysis Lead financial evaluation of M&A and strategic transactions — valuation, DCF and WACC, accretion/dilution, synergy quantification, diligence — and support integration planning and post-close tracking against underwriting. Build the business case for new channels, customers, categories, formats, and partnerships with disciplined go/no-go economics, stage gates, and consistent return criteria (NPV, IRR, payback). Team Leadership & AI-Enabled Finance Lead, develop, and retain a team of five spanning commercial and trade finance, supply chain and cost finance, DTC finance, and corporate planning and reporting. Drive automation to shift the team from reporting production to decision support, and convert AI leverage into measured capacity. Own the AI operating model for finance. BRCC runs on Claude as its enterprise AI platform. This role uses it directly and makes the team fluent in it — it does not delegate AI adoption to IT or wait for a center of excellence. Apply Claude across the analytical workflow — model construction and audit, variance and PVM decomposition, contract review, syndicated data synthesis, Board material drafting, reconciliation of large disparate data sets — and build reusable prompts and standard analytical patterns. Set the control standard for AI use in finance — what may be uploaded, what requires human verification, how AI-assisted work is documented. No AI-generated figure reaches an external audience without a human tie-out. Education And Skill Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA and/or CPA preferred. Expert-level financial modeling in Excel; working experience with ERP (NetSuite). Minimum of 15+ years of experience in progressive finance, spanning public and private company environments and both large-scale and small or high-growth organizations. Consumer packaged goods experience is required. Food and beverage strongly preferred. Demonstrated leadership of an FP&A function with direct people-management responsibility. High proficiency — personally, not through oversight — in each of the following: trade promotion optimization and TPM systems, including deduction management; standard cost and manufacturing variance analysis; marketing efficiency and media ROI; wholesale and DTC economics across owned e-commerce and Amazon; PVM and net revenue management; NielsenIQ, Scintilla, and syndicated data; cash flow forecasting; Board materials; and M&A evaluation. Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI in a finance function — not conceptual interest. Candidates must be able to describe specific work they have produced with an AI assistant, what it accelerated, and where they caught it being wrong. Experience with a comparable platform is acceptable; unwillingness to work this way is not. Judgment on where AI is appropriate and where it is not — data handling, materiality, and verification required before AI-assisted output supports a Board, audit, or public disclosure. Ability to operate with incomplete information, form a view, and defend it to the CEO, CFO, and Board. Public company experience supporting SEC reporting, guidance, and internal controls. Multi-channel experience — FDM/retail, club, DTC, marketplace, foodservice — in a commodity-exposed business where input cost volatility drives margin planning. Direct experience with Claude in a business setting — Claude for Excel, document and contract review, or agentic workflows — and a track record of deploying AI across a team and measuring the productivity result. BI proficiency (Power BI, Tableau) and comfort in the underlying data; prior experience integrating an acquisition or standing up finance in an acquired business. Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work/Physical Requirements This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events. Travel Requirements: 30-40% While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting is required. Ability to uphold the stress of traveling. Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). Ability to work in a confined area. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. Compensation Disclosure The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below.
