Billing Subject Matter Expert- Support
Full TimeFully RemoteMid$60,000 - $75,000 / Year
gorrestclinicalehrepic+9

Elation Health is deeply committed to helping independent primary care practices take better care of their patients. Since 2010, we've built a clinical-first, collaborative EHR platform — and with the addition of Elation Billing, we're bringing that same clinical-first philosophy to the revenue side of the practice, so billing works with the chart instead of around it. Elation Health is searching for a Support Subject Matter Expert in Elation Billing — someone who has already done real medical billing and revenue cycle management work, not someone learning it on the job. This is a hands-on, case-based role embedded directly in our support queue: you'll bring practitioner-level RCM judgment to the billing cases our Technical Support Specialists can't fully resolve through process or AI-assisted troubleshooting alone, and you'll help the rest of the team get sharper at spotting those cases in the first place. This isn't a back-office consulting role. You'll be working live cases day to day alongside our support team, diagnosing whether an issue is a product bug, a payer-specific quirk, or a mismatch between how a practice actually operates and how they've configured their billing workflow — then resolving it with the kind of judgment that only comes from having sat inside a claims lifecycle before. Responsibilities Serve as the Elation Billing product line's embedded RCM expert, owning complex billing and revenue cycle cases that require practitioner-level judgment — claims lifecycle issues, CPT/ICD-10 coding logic, payer adjudication and denial patterns, A/R and collections workflows. Act as the go-to resource for case swarms and escalations within Elation Billing whenever a Technical Support Specialist's investigation surfaces a billing nuance beyond scripted troubleshooting. Diagnose a practice's underlying billing context — payment model (insurance-taking vs. DPC), staffing structure, and prior workflow choices — to distinguish genuine product issues from configuration or workflow mismatches, rather than treating every case as a symptom in isolation. Partner with Product and Prod Dev, turning recurring billing edge cases, payer-specific patterns, and denial trends into structured feedback that can inform the roadmap. Contribute to and maintain the team's billing-related knowledge base, SOPs, and macros, and help calibrate the AI Case Assistant's billing-related suggestions so resolutions compound across the team rather than living only in your own case history. Help build the broader team's baseline RCM literacy — sharing real-world billing context so Specialists can better anticipate the issues different practice types are prone to. Track and report on billing-case quality and resolution metrics within your scope, and flag systemic patterns rather than resolving the same root cause case-by-case indefinitely. Requirements 3+ years of hands-on medical billing / revenue cycle management experience — claims submission, payer follow-up, denial management, and A/R — brought in from outside a support organization, not built up through support tenure. Working fluency in CPT/ICD-10 coding logic, claims adjudication, and payer-specific billing rules across commercial and government payers. Experience working within an EHR, practice management, or medical billing platform (e.g., Epic, athenahealth, Waystar, or similar). Strong written and verbal communicator, able to translate complex billing and RCM concepts into clear guidance for both practices and internal teams. Comfortable working directly in a live case queue - this is a frontline, hands-on role, not a periodic-consulting one. Self-directed and detail-oriented, with the judgment to know when a case needs to go beyond a scripted answer. Preferred Certification such as CPB (Certified Professional Biller), CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative), or CHFP (in progress or completed). Prior experience supporting independent primary care or small-group practices specifically. Experience on a support, customer success, or implementation team at a SaaS/EHR company. Exposure to AI-assisted support or case-management tooling. Six Sigma, Lean, or other process-improvement background. Salary range: $60,000 - 75,000 CAD Elation welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Elation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. We are committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants, and value individuals with diverse perspectives including, but not limited to: race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status. Elation also complies with all applicable national, state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment as well as work authorization and employment eligibility verification requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act and IRCA. We firmly believe a strong culture that supports a diverse and inclusive workforce allows us to achieve Elation's mission of helping independent primary care thrive.

Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. Since inception, we've been focused on building a delightful, world-class experience that empowers physicians to deliver phenomenal care to patients. Customer support has been the same job for twenty years: a queue, a ticket, an SLA, a closed case. That's ending, fast. Over the next 6–9 months, AI will take on more of the routine, repetitive cases at Elation. That doesn't shrink the human role — it builds on it. The work becomes product intelligence: shaping how AI handles conversations, holding the customer-trust moments that need real judgment, and turning patterns into priorities Engineering delivers. We're hiring Support Engineers to anchor that shift: people who don't just close tickets, but trace them back to the line of product code causing them, ship the fix that resolves the customer's problem immediately, and partner with senior engineers on the cases complex enough to need them. You might be the recent engineering grad who spent a summer at a busy front desk, in a popular restaurant, or on a support line because you like people as much as you like problems, and who's been quietly automating things nobody asked you to fix since your first CS class. Or, you might be the person who leads team projects, tinkers with the dashboards, automations, or workflows so automatically that colleagues assume you are an engineer even if you aren't. If that sounds like you, this role turns that problem-solving instinct into your core responsibility. As a Support Engineer, you'll bring empathy and judgment to the cases that need it most, own the quality of AI-driven solutions in your domain, and synthesize patterns that influence Product and Engineering roadmaps. We hire for judgment, taste, and curiosity, not process adherence. The bar isn't how many cases you closed; it's how much you reshaped the conditions under which cases happen. Role and Responsibilities Synthesize and share customer insights. Surface patterns from your cases in weekly and monthly reports, participate in Product and Engineering discussions with what you're learning, and mentor Support Team members on AI workflows, scripting, and SQL queries. Use Good Judgment to Solve Cases. Own customer escalations with cases that genuinely require seasoned judgment, the ones AI can't safely close. Build and protect customer trust in moments that matter. Build and own AI quality. Configure AI within Elation's stack (intents, knowledge sources, escalation rules), build lightweight external automations and scripts, and own the quality of AI outputs in your domain. What success looks like in your first 6 months Delivered solutions that reduced case volume by 10% or eliminated recurring issue categories, with measurable customer impact (e.g., CSAT, reduction in case reopens) A monthly drumbeat of synthesized insights that Product and Engineering act on, with visible impact on customer experience or a measurable drop in case volume Owns a measurable case-volume reduction in your domain by making cases not happen, not by closing them faster You question default workflows instead of just executing them, and you ship more by removing work, not just doing more of it You build with AI to make yourself and the teammates around you faster — automating triage, drafting responses, prototyping internal tools, and turning one-off builds into reusable patterns Support can run with You've picked up or sharpened a technical skill — SQL, Python, an API, a scripting language — specifically because a customer problem needed it, not because a course assigned it Mentors Associate teammates on AI builds and pattern synthesis Identified and closed gaps across internal and customer-facing documentation, improving accuracy and reducing repeat questions. Professional Qualifications 1–5+ years of experience in Engineering, data analytics, or AI/automation tinkering in any field — OR a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus real experience talking to people under pressure (support, hospitality, retail, service, resident advising) Comfortable enough with code to experiment : you've written scripts, touched an API, or built something in Python, SQL, or JavaScript — even if it was just for a class project , team project or yourself A concrete portfolio of things you've built or shipped: prompt-engineered systems, dashboards, automations, class or personal projects — with evidence of outcomes Strong customer-facing communication and trust-building skills Pattern recognition and synthesis muscle AI-native default. Reaches for AI tools first, treats ambiguity as the work rather than a blocker, and wants to learn how to configure and supervise these systems — not just use them A deep desire to drive results for our customers, with high ownership over the outcomes you own Curiosity and natural problem-solving instincts An instinct to raise the bar for the teammates around you — teaching others to build and synthesize, not just modeling it yourself Show us your work Along with your application, in a cover letter send us: 2–3 things you've built or shipped that changed a metric or outcome — a work project, a personal build, or something from school or an internship — what you made, who it was for, why you needed to do it, and what changed. A short story about a time your analysis or insight changed a decision someone else made. Salary range $70,000 - $95,000 CAD Elation welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Elation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. Billing SME - Product
Elation Health

clinicalehricd-10claimscompliancecompliance+5

Elation is building the technology platform that powers the new era of primary care. Our Clinical-First® EHR is beloved by physicians and is enabling the transition to value-based care. We're a mission-driven team committed to empowering independent primary care physicians and improving the quality of care for patients. We're looking for a Billing SME to join Elation's Billing Team's and accelerate our AI-powered billing capabilities. As AI takes on more of the revenue cycle, this role will serve as the billing expert who ensures our AI features deliver accurate, trustworthy billing outcomes that practices can rely on. You'll be the connective tissue between our product team and the real world of primary care billing — bringing hands-on RCM expertise to help us build AI that billing professionals actually trust. Why This Role Exists Accelerate Agentic Billing velocity. Your hands-on primary care coding and RCM expertise (e.g., AdvancedMD, Athena, or similar billing solutions) lets our team iterate on AI billing features with fast, credible domain feedback instead of waiting on live-customer validation for every coding or claims decision. Manage billing risk and trust as AI takes on more of the revenue cycle. Coding and billing correctness carries real financial and compliance consequences — denials, CPT/ICD accuracy, payer rules. As AI authorship of billing decisions grows, you'll evaluate and safeguard accuracy and practice trust. You're the billing analog to the clinical-safety role our Clinical SMEs play for clinical AI. What You'll Do User Zero Testing — Feedback & Insight Test new AI billing capabilities (coding suggestions, Auto-Queue, Worklist, ERA/payment posting) before wider release, evaluating them against real coding and billing judgment. You'll be the first eyes on every billing feature, providing the credible feedback that shapes the product. Front-line Context & Grounding Bring firsthand experience of how competitor and adjacent billing systems handle the same workflows, so our billing teams build with the broader RCM landscape in view — not just Elation's current implementation. Help us understand what "best in class" looks like. Billing Evaluation & Success Criteria Define what "correct" means for coding and billing outputs — a billing-specific subset of user success criteria — and pressure-test AI-generated billing outputs before they reach practices. Your judgment protects practices from billing mistakes. Design Partner Sit alongside Product Design as a billing co-designer, providing billing and coding context and success criteria directly into the design process. Help architect workflows for process excellence by providing a high-level view of industry standards and differentiators. Customer Partner & Key Contributor Support Work with Product to act as the connective tissue between both billing teams and: Customer and design-partner practices piloting Agentic Billing, translating their real billing language and pain points into product-usable input Internal key contributors — Enablement, Marketing, Sales, CSMs, Engagement Advisors, Support, other SMEs — who today escalate billing questions ad hoc and need a defined path to expertise What Success Looks Like Requirements: Billing and coding requirements for billing teams features carry your direct input — written into the requirements themselves, not layered on as post-hoc review Contributes to customer-facing and design groups: Work with Product and Design to execute discovery and design sessions with design-partner practices and cross-functional design reviews, on a standing cadence PM/PD-aligned: Your requirements and customer synthesis feed straight into product management's prioritization, design, and roadmap calls Standup presence: Show up regularly in CSM/Support stand-ups, so billing escalations get triaged directly rather than bouncing through ad hoc Slack DMs You'll Wear Two Hats Billing Co-Designer — Bring primary-care coding and RCM expertise into the design process the way Clinical SMEs bring clinical expertise: defining billing success criteria, front-line grounding, and user-zero testing. Customer & Cross-Functional Liaison — Be the person Engagement Advisors, Support, and other SMEs escalate billing questions to, and who works directly with customer and design-partner accounts to turn real billing language into input GPT/Thor can act on. What You'll Bring Required: 3+ years of hands-on primary care billing and coding experience in a physician practice setting Deep familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and modifier rules for primary care Experience with practice management and billing systems (e.g., AdvancedMD, Athena, Kareo, or similar platforms) Working knowledge of commercial and government payer rules, denial management, and claims workflows Ability to translate billing domain knowledge into clear, actionable product feedback Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Customer Success teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with EHR workflows and how billing intersects with clinical documentation Familiarity with value-based care billing models (MSSP, CPC+, direct contracting) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or similar certification Experience in a SaaS, product, or technology-forward healthcare company Previous involvement in user testing, product feedback, or design partnership roles What This Role Is Not Not a roadmap or prioritization owner — Billing teams retain those decisions Not a gate that blocks releases — You provide feedback to teams, not directives Not a substitute for user research — You support and accelerate it, you don't replace it Salary: $ Elation welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Elation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. Implementation Manager
Clover HealthUSA (Fully Remote)4 days ago

gopatient careclinicalehrdentalmental health+4

Counterpart: Value-based care, at the point of care. At Counterpart Health, we are transforming healthcare and improving patient care with our innovative primary care tool, Counterpart Assistant. By supporting Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), we are able to deliver improved outcomes to our patients at a lower cost through early diagnosis and longitudinal care management of chronic conditions. We are hiring an Implementation Manager on the Counterpart Assistant team. In this role, you will lead the customer-facing work of bringing new provider practices and TINs from late-stage prospects through successful launch on Counterpart Assistant. You will partner closely with account management to hand off new customers, own the customer relationship through implementation, and drive each launch to completion on time and at quality. You will independently lead multiple concurrent implementations and the cross-functional work that makes each launch happen. Partnering with account management, support, product, and engineering internally and with providers, office managers, and clinical leads on the customer side: you will drive accountability across every stakeholder and deliver results through influence. Beyond running individual launches, you will help shape the implementation playbook itself — identifying what slows launches down, proposing changes, and driving improvements that reduce time-to-launch and lift customer satisfaction. Strong project management fundamentals, clear customer communication, working knowledge of clinical data, and technical fluency will let you keep complex, multi-stakeholder launches on track. As an Implementation Manager, you will: Own the customer relationship through implementation: you are the primary point of contact for the customer's technical implementation from project kickoff to post go live steady state. Lead end-to-end project plans for multiple concurrent, multi-step implementations, keeping internal and customer teams aligned on scope, timeline, and status. Partner cross-functionally with account management, support, product, and engineering to unblock issues, coordinate handoffs, and keep implementations moving on schedule. Own the outcomes of each implementation: surface risks early, drive resolution across teams, and hold each launch accountable to its target date and quality bar. Apply technical judgment to monitor and address potential integration issues that arise during implementations, working alongside product and engineering to ensure a successful integration and product launch. Drive continuous improvement of the implementation process: define and refine the playbook, tooling, and templates that reduce time-to-launch and raise the quality bar for every customer experience. Represent the customer's voice internally — capture feedback and pain points from implementations and channel them to product, engineering, and support to improve future launches. Success in this Role Looks Like: Over the first 90 days, you hit the ground running: shadowing active implementations, learning the moving parts of the process (standard EHR integrations, internal system configurations and project plans), and taking ownership of your first launch. Within the first 6 months, you are the customer-facing lead on multiple concurrent implementations, delivering launches on time and with a high customer satisfaction bar. Customers describe you as trusted, responsive, and a reason they feel confident in Counterpart. You have identified at least one meaningful improvement to the implementation process — a template, a workflow change, a handoff refinement — and driven it to adoption across the team. Over time, your performance is measured by the consistency, speed, and on-target delivery of customer implementations, by the strength of the relationships you build with customer stakeholders throughout the process, and by the cumulative improvements you drive into the implementation playbook itself. You should get in touch if: You have 5-8 years of experience leading technical product implementations in a customer-facing role, with a strong track record of on-time, high-quality launches — and of running multiple implementations in parallel. You have 2+ years of experience in healthcare technology implementations working with provider practices, ideally including EHR standard integrations. You have exceptional customer-facing skills — you build trust quickly with providers, office managers, and clinical leads, communicate clearly under pressure, and manage escalations calmly and directly. You are an expert in project management: you set the plan, track it, and drive accountability across internal and customer teams that don't report to you. You have strong technical judgment and are comfortable diagnosing potential integration issues and scope creep of the overall project. You are a strong communicator, clearly documenting project status and potential risks internally and externally. You are motivated by process improvement: you notice friction in the way work gets done, propose better approaches, and drive them to adoption without needing a mandate. You lead through influence, not authority: you know how to align stakeholders, resolve conflict, and hold the room accountable to outcomes. Benefits Overview : Financial Well-Being : Our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent begins with a competitive base salary and equity opportunities. Additionally, we offer a performance-based bonus program, 401k matching, and regular compensation reviews to recognize and reward exceptional contributions. Years later, that vision is a reality, with thousands of practitioners using Counterpart Assistant during patient visits to improve disease management, reduce medical expenses, and drive success in value-based care. With an exceptional team of value-based care and technology experts, Counterpart Health is driving value-based care at the speed of software. Counterpart Health is a subsidiary of Clover Health. From Clover's inception, Diversity & Inclusion have always been key to our success. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and our employees are people with different strengths, experiences, perspectives, opinions, and backgrounds, who share a passion for improving people's lives. Diversity not only includes race and gender identity, but also age, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, religion and many other parts of one's identity. All of our employee's points of view are key to our success, and inclusion is everyone's responsibility. #LI-Remote Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. We are an E-Verify company. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant's education, work experience, certifications, etc. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $96,200—$125,000 USD

Home Based Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Practice medicine where it can matter most: in the home. Clover Health is looking for exceptional, mission-driven physicians to join our field-based In-Home Care team. In this role, you will care for Medicare Advantage members with complex medical, functional, and social needs — many of whom are older, medically fragile, and at high risk for avoidable complications. This is not transactional care. This is relationship-centered, outcomes-driven medicine. As a Field-Based Staff Physician, you will be accountable for the health outcomes of a defined panel of members. You will meet patients where they are, understand the realities of their home environment, identify risks early, and help coordinate the right care at the right time. You will have the autonomy to practice thoughtfully, the support of an interdisciplinary team, and the technology to act with greater insight and precision. We are seeking physicians who are highly accountable, clinically strong, operationally effective, and deeply committed to doing what is best for vulnerable seniors. Why this role matters Many of the patients we serve are navigating multiple chronic conditions, recent hospitalizations, fragmented care, limited resources, and the challenges that come with aging. For these members, the home is often where the most important clinical information lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to see the full picture: the medications on the kitchen table, the caregiver dynamics, the fall risks, the barriers to follow-up, and the early warning signs that may never surface in a clinic visit. Your work will directly influence whether members recover safely, remain stable, avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, close care gaps, and feel supported by a care team that genuinely knows them. What you'll do As a Field-Based Staff Physician on Clover's In-Home Care team, you will: Provide high-quality, patient-facing care in members' homes across New Jersey Manage a panel of medically complex Medicare Advantage members and take full accountability for clinical outcomes Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments that evaluate medical, functional, behavioral, and social needs Lead post-discharge and transitional care visits to support safe recovery and reduce avoidable readmissions Identify changes in clinical status early and intervene proactively Manage chronic conditions, medication concerns, care gaps, and acute clinical needs within the home-based setting Build trusted relationships with members, caregivers, and families Collaborate closely with nurses, care managers, pharmacists, advanced practice clinicians, primary care providers, specialists, and community partners Use Clover Assistant and other clinical technology tools to surface risks, guide evidence-based decisions, and deliver more proactive care Communicate clearly and efficiently with internal and external care teams Document accurately and thoughtfully to support continuity, quality, and accountability Help advance a care model built around value, outcomes, and human connection You'll thrive here if you are Mission-driven and energized by caring for older adults with complex needs Highly accountable and willing to own the outcomes of your patient panel Comfortable practicing independently in the field while staying closely connected to a team Clinically thoughtful, decisive, and able to prioritize what matters most Effective and efficient in how you manage your time, visits, follow-up, and documentation Tech-savvy and curious about how data and clinical tools can improve care A strong communicator who builds trust with patients, caregivers, and colleagues Motivated by value-based care and the opportunity to improve outcomes, not simply complete visits Compassionate, practical, and deeply committed to doing what is right for sick and underserved seniors What you bring MD or DO degree Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related primary care field Geriatrics experience or fellowship training preferred Active New Jersey medical license, DEA registration, and CDS registration Strong clinical judgment and experience managing chronic conditions in older adults Comfort caring for medically complex, frail, and socially vulnerable patients Ability to work independently in a field-based environment Strong documentation, communication, and care coordination skills Curiosity and proficiency with clinical technology, including the ability to use tools such as Clover Assistant to make more informed decisions and identify care opportunities Experience in home-based care, value-based care, population health, complex care, or Medicare Advantage is a plus Benefits Overview : Financial Well-Being: Our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent begins with a competitive hourly rate. Additionally, we offer a performance-based bonus program, 401k matching, and regular compensation reviews to recognize and reward exceptional contributions. Support for Our Clinicians: Professional liability (malpractice) coverage, Clover-branded scrubs, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate, license and certification renewal reimbursement, and WiFi reimbursement for select roles. Your health matters to us, and we invest in ensuring you have access to quality healthcare. To support this, we offer initiatives such as company holidays, access to mental health resources, and a generous time-off policy. Full-time employees accrue up to 18 days of vacation per year. Clover recognizes 10 federal holidays, including New Year's Day, Juneteenth, and Christmas. There are also 4 additional paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday. Professional Development: Developing internal talent is a priority for Clover. We offer paid Continuing Medical Education (CME) days, a role-based CME allowance, learning programs, mentorship, and regular performance feedback and reviews. Additional Perks: Reimbursement for office setup expenses Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) offering discounted equity opportunities Paid parental leave for all new parents And much more! About Clover: Clover Health is reinventing healthcare by combining data, technology, and human empathy to help members live healthier lives. We build clinical tools and care models that allow teams to intervene earlier, personalize care, and support the people who need us most. At Clover, your work is not abstract. You will see the impact in the homes you visit, the trust you build, and the outcomes you help improve. Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a VP, Provider Integration & Experience to join our Provider Operations & Experience Team. Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family. About the role: The Vice President of Provider Integration and Experience is responsible for driving the overall provider experience strategy, designing operational solutions, and leading the enterprise operating model for escalated provider issue resolution. This position owns the provider journey, developing and executing cross-functional roadmaps to proactively reduce friction while overseeing a world-class, multi-disciplinary escalation management organization. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role serves as the principal advocate for providers serving Oscar members. By partnering closely with senior leaders across Claims, Network, Utilization Management, Payment Integrity, Contact Center, Clinical Services and Technology, the Vice President will translate data-driven insights into systemic, root-cause remediations that maximize network satisfaction and deliver high-impact enterprise ROI. You will report into the SVP, Provider Operations & Experience. Work Location: This position is based in our New York office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $240,120 - $315,158 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses. Responsibilities: Act as the primary internal and external voice and champion for the provider experience. Shape the overarching Oscar Provider Experience strategy, creating a long-term vision to be an easy and dependable partner to providers.  Develop deep, analytical frameworks and measures to assess the health of the provider experience and evaluate its overall impact on Oscar's broader network. Maintain deep healthcare market and competitor intelligence, keeping a pulse on regulatory changes, vendor innovations, and emerging operational models. Build and scale the operating model for escalated provider issues, establishing standardized intake criteria, triage pathways, and closure expectations.  Oversee the swift resolution of urgent, high-complexity, or high-profile provider escalations that span multiple cross-functional departments. Foster strong strategic relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior functional leaders across Claims, Network, Utilization Management, Payment Integrity, and Technology to streamline operational handoffs and secure resources for systemic fixes. Drive organizational change management, ensuring successful cross-functional adoption of new operational models, workflow metrics, and provider-centric behaviors. Leverage robust operational data, analytics, and ROI assessments to identify systemic root causes of provider friction and prioritize technical or operational resolutions. Establish tracking mechanisms to guarantee that once a root cause is identified, systemic fixes are fully implemented and verified across strategic accounts.  Create and deliver executive-ready reporting, interactive dashboards, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board members regarding operational health, system trends, and critical blockers. Empower and mentor a senior-level team, aligning their personal growth with the delivery of high-impact organizational outcomes.  Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations  Other duties as assigned Requirements: A bachelor's degree or commensurate 4 years of experience 15+ years of professional experience in healthcare operations, payer operations, network operations, strategic planning, healthcare consulting, or provider relations 7+ years of experience collaborating, influencing, and driving strategic alignment at the executive level (SVP, EVP, and C-Suite). 7+ years of direct senior leadership experience, specifically managing multi-team functions, managers, and directors. Deep technical understanding of payer operations, including claims administration, provider data, reimbursement methodologies, utilization management, payment integrity, and provider relations workflows.  Demonstrated experience building operational models, SLA frameworks, and governance structures in ambiguous environments. Bonus points: Master's degree from a top-tier program in Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or a closely related field.  Proven success standing up, scaling, or transforming a large-scale provider relations, escalation management, or customer service governance function.  Extensive experience managing complex partnerships with major national health systems or high-profile clinical provider networks. Proficiency with advanced enterprise workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow) and reporting/data environments (e.g., SQL, Tableau). This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity. At Oscar, being an Equal Opportunity Employer means more than upholding discrimination-free hiring practices. It means that we cultivate an environment where people can be their most authentic selves and find both belonging and support. We're on a mission to change health care -- an experience made whole by our unique backgrounds and perspectives.
