Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration , enabling organizations to coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex, end-to-end business processes. With built-in governance, auditability, and human oversight, Camunda gives enterprises the control they need to move AI from pilots to production — safely and at scale. Trusted by over 700 organizations worldwide , including 9 of top 10 US banks, Camunda helps enterprises boost operational efficiency, accelerate time-to-value, and deliver better customer experiences. Fully remote and global, we are in the middle of something bigger: transforming into an AI-first organisation, built on our own platform . We use Agentic AI to automate, orchestrate intelligent processes, and elevate human contribution across every team. Named GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorn list, 2025 Great Place to Work certified. Visionary in 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies. ranked 3rd in Flexa's 2026 Most Flexible Companies , We're growing fast and looking for top talent to join our team. If you want meaningful work, visible impact and put something genuinely rare on your CV, keep reading. About the role: Camunda builds the platform for agentic orchestration, and we want to build our own product the same way. In this role you own how we build products: the Product Development Process (PDP) and the automation behind it. You also build agentic processes on Camunda for the Products department's own work. They use our product the way customers do, so we learn from our own experience. You work across Engineering and Product Strategy. You are hands-on: you design the process, and you also build and run the automation yourself. This is a fully remote role. Curious about the kind of challenges you'll work on at Camunda? Watch this quick 30-minute talk from our engineers to learn more about the new Camunda Exporter and how we're solving complex problems at scale What You'll Be Doing: Own the PDP end to end, for both our Core and Experience tracks: process design, stages, board hygiene, and how we define and track an epic. Align the PDP with Product Strategy so that strategy, initiatives and epics connect, and both divisions trust the process. Fix and run the PDP automation (built on Camunda 8): source control, tests, a test environment, monitoring, and one shared foundation for both tracks. Run Camunda Products on Camunda: build agentic processes for our own product work that use our product the way customers do, and feed what we learn back to the product teams. What You Bring: Ability and/or willingness to use our product Product, design and technical skills in one person. You can judge whether a workflow is good for its users and also build it yourself. A product-only background is not enough. Hands-on engineering: you write code and scripts, work with GitHub, CI/CD and APIs, and can debug integrations. Process ownership: you have designed and changed a product or engineering process in a software company with 100+ engineers. Practical AI agent experience: you have built agents or agentic workflows that do real work, not only tried them. Cross-team influence: you get Product, Engineering and leadership to agree on one way of working. Nice-to-haves: Experience with BPMN, Camunda, or other workflow engines. A background in product operations, developer experience, or platform engineering. IDnow is a leader in digital identity and fraud prevention in Europe with a mission to transform trust into the most powerful asset in the digital world, empowering enterprises with AI-driven, SaaS-based identity solutions that deliver scalable security, adaptive compliance, and real-time fraud prevention . Through its broad portfolio of digital identity and fraud prevention solutions, IDnow establishes, maintains and enriches trust throughout the customer journey, ensuring businesses can confidently and securely operate while leveraging digital identity to drive growth, security and scalability. The company has offices in Germany, United Kingdom, Romania and France , and is backed by renowned institutional investors, including Corsair Capital and Seventure Partners. Its portfolio of international clients spans a wide range of end markets including financial services, telecommunications, travel & mobility, gaming, and other industries. This position is based in Rennes, France. The Solutions Engineer at IDnow is the client's trusted advisor through pre-sales and integration . You design the solution the client will rely on, you give them confidence that it will work in their environment, and you become the person they turn to for technical and solution decisions. Your focus is the technical side of the journey up to the point where the client is live on our products, and you make that path smooth . This is a hands-on, deeply technical role, and a commercial one . Solutions Engineers carry a quota and are measured on two things: the deals they help win, and whether the client goes live successfully. You work hand in hand with Sales to convince the client that our solution is the right one and to move them toward signature, and then you make sure they can use it well in production. You earn that through technical depth, but you are client-facing, credible and persuasive in a sales motion. You do this across our whole client base. We hire this role at more than one level. The core of the job is the same; the scope you own and the complexity you handle grow with your experience. This role carries real ownership across the client journey, and a say in how the work evolves. Key Responsibilities Discover and Design Lead technical discovery, qualifying conversion rates, false acceptance and rejection trade-offs, fraud exposure and integration constraints before proposing a solution, Design end-to-end solution architectures that orchestrate document verification, digital identity, fraud signals, biometric authentication, eID and EU Digital Identity Wallet flows, and e-signature, Link every technical choice to the client's business objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), so proposals speak to outcomes rather than features, Define defensible architecture decisions covering fallback logic, data residency, scalability and performance, Support Sales with proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), advising on which capabilities to combine and why. Prove, Integrate and Go Live Lead proof-of-concept and pilot engagements, configuring Application Programming Interface (API) integrations, building Postman collections and managing sandbox environments, Validate behaviour under realistic conditions and document what the client needs to go live, Guide client developers through API and mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) integration, including webhooks, authentication and testing, Troubleshoot integration issues by reading logs and diagnosing failures at the API and SDK level, rather than only forwarding them, Maintain a living integration map of the client's architecture, data flows and dependencies, Own the account from signature to go-live, running the go-live plan and handing a documented account to Customer Success and Support at the end of hypercare. Advise and Enable Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders, from first conversation to go-live, Represent the client's technical reality internally, feeding integration blockers, product gaps and pilot learnings back to Product and Sales teams, Work with the internal escalation team on deeper platform issues, arriving with clear technical context, Stand alongside Sales in client meetings, addressing objections on integration effort, feasibility and alternatives, Improve demo environments, architecture templates and integration guides, and mentor team members as the practice grows. Preferred Experience You ask before you propose and qualify before you demo, turning ambiguous client requirements into the right technical solution. You take ownership of the client's technical path from first conversation to production, and you explain complex systems in plain language to engineers and business leaders alike. You combine hands-on engineering depth with a commercial mindset, and you enjoy working alongside Sales to move a decision forward. Engineering or technical degree , a Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or implementation and onboarding in SaaS , ideally in identity, FinTech or security, Discovery and qualification skills , with the ability to turn an ambiguous client requirement into the best technical solution, Solution architecture skills , including designing integration flows, explaining orchestration logic and defending trade-offs with a client's engineers, Hands-on technical skills with APIs, Software Development Kits (SDKs) including mobile, and integration tooling such as Postman and Git, Experience running a proof of concept and debugging an integration at the API or log level, Delivery discipline to run an integration and onboarding through to a committed go-live date, managing several client projects at once, The ability to translate technical complexity into plain language and reassure non-technical stakeholders, Business value awareness , connecting the technical solution to client outcomes such as verification conversion, fraud loss or time to go-live, Client-facing presence, building trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders such as Chief Digital Officers (CDOs) and Heads of Digital, and technical stakeholders such as Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), architects and platform engineers, The instinct to own the client's technical path end to end, Fluent English and full professional French are both hard requirements for the role. Additional European languages are a plus. Nice to Have Familiarity with identity verification, Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, including document verification, biometrics, liveness detection, eID and fraud detection, Interest in where digital identity is heading, including eIDAS 2.0, EU Digital Identity Wallets, the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Experience with mobile SDK delivery on iOS, Android or React Native, Knowledge of web development concepts, including frontend and backend architecture, webhooks and Open Authorisation (OAuth), Experience in mobility, FinTech, banking or other regulated industries, Working knowledge of a programming language such as Python, Java or JavaScript, and of a cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Perks & Benefits Health & Wellbeing: Use your full access to the mental health platform nilo , including 1on1 sessions. We value personal and professional development: make full use of Udemy , our training platform with 24/7 access and unlimited content/course consumption incl. certification. We make your remote work comfy: we provide support on equipment and offer flexible working hours. May your family require your attention or other reasons apply: use the benefit of our paid special leave days. Enjoy the possibility to combine work with a longer stay at your holiday destination or extend a weekend with our Workcation possibilities. In addition to the perks & benefits above, we offer specific benefits that differ between our locations. Headquarters: NYC or Remote (EST or CST) About the role: Hex's legal function has gone from zero to a fully operating system in under a year. Now we need someone to own and scale the operating layer so it holds as the company grows. This is a builder role. You'll run contract operations end to end: CLM administration, workflow optimization, template and playbook maintenance, enablement and training for the revenue team, and first-pass review and redlining of standard agreements against our playbook. Beyond contracts, you'll build structured intake for every legal workstream across the company, own the legal governance record (privacy registers, AI inventory, compliance calendars), manage outside counsel relationships, and own the legal tech stack. We sit at the nexus of data, AI, and collaboration, which means our legal operations have to be as thoughtful as our product. We use AI tooling across legal operations, and you'll work the same way: building agents and automations to move faster, not as a side project but as the default way things get done here. If you see a manual workflow and instinctively want to build it away, you'll feel right at home. What you will do: Drive CLM adoption and enablement so the revenue team self-serves on standard deals Own workflow optimization, templates, and playbooks as deal structures and products evolve First-pass review and redlining of standard agreements; draft from templates as volume requires Build and own structured intake for legal workstreams across the company Build AI-powered workflows, agents, and automations that replace manual processes Maintain the legal governance record: privacy registers, AI inventory, compliance calendars Train cross-functional teams on self-service tools and escalation paths Manage outside counsel relationships and the legal tech stack About You: 3-5+ years in legal operations, paralegal, or contract management, with at least 1-2 years in-house at a tech or SaaS company You've implemented or rebuilt a CLM (Ironclad preferred), designed intake workflows, and stood up reporting someone relied on Experience reviewing and redlining commercial agreements on both sell-side and buy-side paper You build with AI and automation as a natural part of how you work. You're comfortable across AI-assisted legal tools, LLMs, and automation platforms, and willing to experiment with new ones as they emerge. This isn't a nice-to-have at Hex. Comfortable operating with autonomy in a role with a lot of white space Good judgment about what you can handle and what needs a lawyer You care whether people actually use what you build Nice to have: Experience at a company navigating exponential growth Experience with corporate governance (entity management, board materials, annual filings) Has used Hex Strong opinions about the best way to organize a Notion workspace We know job posts like this can feel like a checklist, and nobody checks every box. If you've built legal ops infrastructure, you're excited about AI, and this role sounds like the kind of work you want to do, we'd love to hear from you. In addition to our unique culture, Hex proudly offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched salary & equity, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible paid time off. The salary range for this role is: $124,125 - $165,500. The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we're open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience. Our Recruiting team will be able to provide more details during the interview process. By submitting an application the candidate consents to the use of their personal information in accordance with the Hex Privacy policy: https://learn.hex.tech/docs/trust/privacy-policy . As a Staff Backend Engineer in the Developer Experience group, you'll work cross-functionally to help us identify and improve the engineering experience across GitLab's internal engineering teams. We're at a pivotal time in transforming our testing approach and development experience to enable engineers to deliver high-quality code efficiently and with confidence. Developer Experience currently has six, globally distributed teams of Backend Engineers and Software Engineers in Test. This role will work across the entire group to help us identify and remove the biggest points of friction that affect development at GitLab. Expect to split your time between hands-on coding in Ruby and Go, designing scalable solutions and helping every team deliver. You'll be instrumental in shaping our engineering culture across GitLab. This is a highly visible role with strong company-wide support. You'll be instrumental in shifting our culture and practices toward a cohesive Developer Experience Platform strategy—backed by buy-in and appetite for change. Some examples of our projects Project Examples In this role, you may lead projects such as: Internal developer platform adoption: Build and evolve platform capabilities that make it easier for engineering teams to create, deploy, operate, and scale services on Kubernetes. Kubernetes-based service onboarding: Define reusable service templates, deployment workflows, configuration patterns, and operational guardrails for teams adopting the platform. Developer workflows and test environments: Build development, CI, and test environments that reflect production Kubernetes behavior — including third-party operators and the custom resources services depend on — sequencing CRD establishment, controller readiness, and dependent workloads so engineers get a working environment rather than a partially reconciled one, across both local and remote clusters. Platform reliability and observability: Partner with infrastructure and service teams to improve rollout safety, troubleshooting, service health, resource management, and operational visibility across Kubernetes workloads. What You'll Do Lead and grow a team responsible for developer tooling and internal platform capabilities used by engineering teams to build and operate services. Set and execute a roadmap for Kubernetes-based developer workflows, balancing developer experience, platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency. Guide the design of reusable onboarding and deployment patterns for services running on Kubernetes, including workloads, networking, configuration and secrets, identity, storage, observability, progressive delivery, and the custom resources and controllers that services depend on. Make environment bring-up and teardown deterministic — resolving readiness and ordering dependencies between CRDs, controllers, and the workloads that rely on them — so engineers get reproducible environments instead of intermittent failures. Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to turn Kubernetes capabilities into simple, well-supported workflows rather than requiring every service team to become a Kubernetes expert. Establish engineering standards, documentation, automation, and feedback loops that improve adoption and reduce the time required to bring a service from development to production. Coach engineers through architectural decisions, incident follow-up, and production operations while maintaining a clear focus on sustainable team delivery. Represent the team with technical and organizational stakeholders, communicate tradeoffs clearly, and use adoption and reliability measures to guide prioritization. What You'll Bring Deep experience building developer tooling, DevEx platforms, testing frameworks, or CI/CD systems at scale. Strong hands-on Go experience designing, implementing, testing, and operating production-quality services, command-line tools, automation, or platform tooling. Experience contributing to Ruby-based systems is also valuable for this role. Practical Kubernetes experience building or operating production workloads and platform capabilities, including deployments, services, networking, configuration and secrets, observability, resource management, and troubleshooting. Depth in Kubernetes deployment lifecycle: Helm-based deployment and release management, kubeconfig and multi-cluster context handling including deploying into clusters you don't own, and integrating third-party operators and their custom resources (CloudNativePG, cert-manager and similar) into working environments — including the readiness and ordering problems that come with them: waiting on CRD establishment, controller availability, and custom resources reaching their own definition of ready. Experience authoring a controller or operator is useful but not required. Experience designing scalable solutions that improve engineering productivity, test reliability, development environments, or delivery workflows across multiple teams. Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and influence without authority across engineering, infrastructure, security, and product functions. Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and production operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote-first environment. A product mindset with a passion for empowering developers through simple, reliable, and well-documented workflows. Alignment with GitLab values, especially collaboration, iteration, and transparency. The base salary range for this role's listed level is currently for residents of the United States only.
