About Us Radiant is powered intelligence, delivering scalable, high-performance compute infrastructure purpose-built for AI and HPC workloads. Operating across global data centres, we run mission-critical environments where uptime, throughput, and ultra-low latency are non-negotiable. Role Overview We are seeking a deeply technical, hardware-passionate Datacentre Operations Engineer to execute on-the-ground operations for our new East London deployment—Radiant's newest AI infrastructure site. This role focuses on delivering precise, repeatable physical practices—including advanced smart-hands support, complex cabling, and hands-on operation of high-density, air-cooled compute systems—to guarantee world-class SLAs on next-generation hardware architecture. Working closely with Infrastructure (HPC) SRE, Network Engineering, and Datacentre Strategy teams, you will uphold uncompromising standards across East London's data centre floor, spanning multiple data halls. About Aiven Aiven is the open source based data platform that builders trust to run PostgreSQL®, Apache Kafka®, ClickHouse®, OpenSearch®, Valkey™ and more in production, on any cloud. Builders ship faster. Their companies run on data that stays available, secure + under control. The role You are the technical owner of Aiven's strategic OEM partnerships, from the first pre-sales conversation to production at volume and beyond. OEM partners embed the Aiven platform inside their own products, so their architecture decisions become ours at scale: one design choice gets copied across hundreds of their customers. You win the technical evaluation, run the proof of concept, design the architecture, and stay on as the person both sides trust to say what should be built, what should be automated + what should be cut. You work AI-native. Agents handle deployment analysis, usage monitoring, rightsizing, PoC scaffolding + first-draft documentation; your time goes on the judgment calls, the partner's engineers + the hard integration problems. You own how your work gets done and redesign it as the tools improve, without waiting for a playbook. Life at Aiven Our values shape how we work. Get it done, together: we move with urgency, align on shared outcomes + put our effort where customers feel it most. Invent + impress: we challenge the status quo + bring different perspectives to hard problems. We commit + deliver: we own our commitments + do what we say. In this role, that means working with Sales, Technical Account Managers, Product, Engineering + Support on every partner, being the person partners trust to follow through, and moving faster than the partner's other vendors. We know what needs doing; the risk is being slow. Diverse perspectives make better ideas. Come as you are. We hire for how you think + what you can do. What we offer: stock options, an individual learning budget + coaching, flexible working hours + hybrid working, private health + dental care, and the equipment you need. What you will do Win the technical evaluation Partner with Sales as the technical lead through the OEM sales cycle: discovery, architecture proposals, objection handling + commercial-technical trade-offs. Scope + run proofs of concept that answer the partner's real question, using agents to scaffold environments, generate test data + document results so the PoC takes days, not weeks. Translate complex technical detail into clear business value for non-technical buyers, and the reverse for engineers. Design the architecture Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the Aiven platform: every service, feature and limit. Understand each OEM partner's customer use cases, then design and evolve robust, scalable, secure architectures that set them up right from day one, for the workloads they run today and the ones they are building next Guide partners in building architectures that support their customers' use cases, with best practices and tailored recommendations. Work with AI to continuously improve existing processes to build efficiency in the work with partners Enable the partner, from roll-out to growth Get partners up and running: integrate Aiven into their infrastructure + workflows via APIs, SDKs, Terraform + best practices, and solve the problems that block go-live. Actively contribute to partner stability, enablement + growth: help partners consume Aiven services well, so utilisation + value grow together. Work with partners on clear positioning of their Aiven-powered solutions to their customers. Run technical training + workshops for partner teams, including how to build, operate + support the platform with agents in the loop. Keep reference architectures + integration guides current, with agents drafting from real deployments and you owning accuracy. Own the relationship + the resolution Build trust-based relationships with partner engineering teams, technical decision makers + the Aiven sales reps you work alongside. Act as the technical liaison between partners and Product, Engineering + Support. When a partner is blocked, own it end-to-end across teams rather than handing it off. Close the loop fast: partner feedback becomes Product + Engineering tickets the same week, with evidence attached. What you bring 5+ years in solutions architecture, pre-sales, solutions engineering or technical consulting for software or cloud infrastructure, with production experience across data technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, ClickHouse or similar. Experience with OEM, embedded or ISV partnerships, where your architecture ships inside someone else's product. A record of running proofs of concept that address real business requirements and convert to production. Fluency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python or Go, and comfort in Linux: installation, securing systems, storage + networking basics like DNS. Working knowledge of at least one public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure) across compute, storage (block + object), networking + security. Hands-on experience with streaming frameworks (Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark Streaming or Kinesis) and a strong understanding of search ecosystems (OpenSearch, Elasticsearch or Lucene). Daily, hands-on use of AI tools + agents in your technical work, with examples of work you have redesigned or cut as a result. High agency: a record of owning problems end-to-end across teams without waiting for a blueprint. Clear communication with engineers, executives + non-technical buyers, written + spoken, in English, and the ability to build trust quickly with both internal sales reps and external partners. Self Development: In Aiven we've a budget to assist continuous learning and the right person will be self motivated to push their boundaries. Nice to have Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Google Cloud + Azure. Terraform, Kubernetes + infrastructure-as-code in production. Familiarity with distributed storage, NoSQL databases + data lakes. Comfort with usage based or consumption pricing, and with using usage data to spot risk + opportunity. Public speaking or technical writing for a developer audience. Contributions to open source projects. How we measure success Partner growth is our top priority Technical win rate on OEM opportunities you lead, and PoC-to-production conversion. Partner time-to-production for new integrations, falling over time. Optimisation recommendations delivered + adopted by partners. Cost or performance issues caught before the partner's customers see them. Partner feedback turned into shipped product changes. Ambassador output: blogs, talks + webinars delivered each year. Reusable assets (agents, reference architectures, playbooks) adopted by the wider SA team. Share of time on partner-facing work vs. analysis + documentation, trending the right way quarter on quarter. Amazing! Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. IOI medalists and ex-founders. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you. How we work High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy. Impact not job titles: We don't have job titles. Instead, it's about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you. AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations. Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models. Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia and Italy. Co-working : If you're not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend. About the role We're hiring a Product Manager to own the core ElevenCreative product experience for creators and marketers who sign up, subscribe, and build on their own. Self-serve users make up the majority of ElevenCreative's user base, and they use the platform to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages. You'll drive growth and adoption across the self-serve product experience, focusing on how users discover what ElevenCreative can do, how they move from a first generation into agents, video, and multi-step creative workflows, and what keeps them coming back and upgrading. There's no shortage of things we could build. The job is defining the big bets, scoping them well, and shipping them quickly with the team. PMs at ElevenLabs work in small, highly collaborative teams with minimal process, alongside engineers who have room to build creatively and lead. The scope is broad by design. Some weeks lean toward product, others toward growth or go-to-market work, and you'll own whatever it takes to make ElevenCreative the best product for its users. What you'll do Drive growth and adoption of the self-serve product, focusing on onboarding, activation, and upgrade moments, and partnering with growth, lifecycle, and pricing teams where they connect Scope and define the big bets for the self-serve product across image, video, music, agents, and editing workflows Find the biggest opportunities in the user journey through product data and user behavior, and turn them into clearly scoped projects Drive adoption of newer experiences like agents and video, helping users expand from a single product into the full platform Work with engineering and design to ship quickly, mocking up early concepts yourself when it speeds things up Partner with growth, lifecycle, and social teams on launches and the moments that bring users into new parts of the product Define success metrics for your area and track activation, engagement, retention, and conversion to paid plans Talk to creators and marketers regularly to understand how they work and where the product falls short, and bring those insights back to the team Requirements 5+ years of product management experience on consumer or self-serve products A track record of moving growth and adoption metrics through the products you've shipped Deep familiarity with the creative space and the creators and marketers who use these tools, with a habit of bringing user insights into every product decision Experience scoping and defining large, ambiguous bets and owning them end to end Design-minded, with a high bar for quality and user experience and the ability to mock up concepts yourself Technical fluency to go deep with engineers on how things are built and the tradeoffs involved Strong analytical skills and comfort in product analytics tools to find opportunities and measure impact A track record of shipping quickly and iterating based on what the data shows Ownership pedigree, meaning you drive your own projects fully rather than handing off after the spec Curiosity about AI and creative tools, and close attention to how the space is moving #LI-Remote We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses. Type: Full-time, salaried employment Location: Remote in the UK only. Salary Range: £121,000 - £137,000 dependant on experience + stock options Focal Systems is the industry leader in retail AI solutions. We are headquartered in San Francisco, California with operations in Canada and the UK, and a tech-hub in Poland. We are a Deep Learning first company. Our mission is to automate and optimize brick and mortar retail using deep learning computer vision. Focal Systems has been deployed at scale with some of the top retailers in the world. We seek smart, creative and passionate people who want to help build a great and enduring company and deploy Deep Learning to the world! About the Role As Director of Analytics, you will own the full path from raw data to decision: the data warehouse, the transformation layer, and the BI tooling analysts and the business actually touch. You will set the technical direction for the analytics stack, lead a small team of analysts and analytics engineers, and be the person executive stakeholders come to for a straight answer backed by solid numbers. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will manage the team, but you are also expected to review models, dig into the warehouse yourself, and make the tooling calls, not just delegate them. What We Are Looking For You are a rigorous thinker who treats data as evidence, not decoration, and holds your team to that same standard You have strong technical chops in SQL and the modern data stack (warehouse, transformation layer, BI layer), and you can go deep on any of them You have led or grown a team of analysts or analytics engineers, and you know how to hire, mentor, and set a bar You are comfortable owning ambiguous, open-ended problems, from "what should we even be measuring" through to a shipped dashboard You communicate findings crisply to technical and non-technical audiences, including at the executive level You have opinions on BI tooling grounded in experience, not just familiarity, and can make a real build-vs-buy or migrate-vs-stay case What You Will Be Doing Own the analytics architecture end to end , from the Snowflake warehouse and dbt transformation layer through to the BI/reporting layer used across the business Set and evolve BI tooling strategy , including evaluating whether our current tool, Sigma, remains the right fit versus alternatives like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Hex, or Mode as the team and data volume grow Lead, hire, and develop a team of analysts and analytics engineers Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to define key metrics, build self-serve reporting, and translate business questions into well-scoped analytical work Establish data modeling standards, testing, and governance across dbt models so the numbers hold up under scrutiny Own data security and access controls across the warehouse and BI layer, ensuring sensitive retail, store, and operational data is properly governed, access is scoped by role, and we meet our customers' data handling requirements Build and own executive-facing reporting on core business metrics such as product availability, store performance, and inventory accuracy Requirements 8+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years directly managing or leading a team Deep hands-on SQL, including complex CTEs, window functions, and query optimization Real experience running a cloud data warehouse, Snowflake strongly preferred Hands-on experience with dbt or a comparable transformation layer Track record evaluating, migrating, or scaling BI tools, with the ability to speak concretely to tradeoffs between tools like Sigma, Looker, Tableau, and Power BI Experience translating messy operational data into decisions executives act on Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners without authority Comfortable operating remote-first, across a distributed team Nice to Have Experience with IoT, sensor, or computer-vision-derived data (high-volume, noisy, real-time) Python for analytics engineering or pipeline work Experience scaling an analytics function inside a growth-stage startup Background in retail, grocery, logistics, or other operationally complex environments Experience mentoring managers, not just individual contributors Why Focal Systems Strong Values and Mission - We are a tightly-knit team with an ambitious mission and a strong set of core values, which define our approach to business and have successfully guided us since inception. Exceptional Team - We are a team of hard-working, fun-loving professionals from some of the most eminent universities, research labs, and tech companies of our time. We pride ourselves on recruiting exceptional individuals to help us redefine the state-of-the-art.
