Hello! I'm Allie, Head of Support at Ashby. 👋 As our team has grown, one of the keys to providing exceptional Support is ensuring every new hire can hit the ground running on a product with a lot of depth and nuance. Helping someone move from "just joined" to confidently helping customers takes exceptional care. We pride ourselves on delivering an onboarding experience that helps each person who joins our team be successful and, in turn, help our customers be successful. Our onboarding program has given new hires a strong foundation. As the team continues to scale and the product keeps evolving, we know there's more to build. That's why we're looking for one Support Trainer in AMER and one in EMEA to partner with our Training Lead and help take onboarding and ongoing training to the next level. This role goes beyond running sessions off an existing curriculum. We're looking for someone who can dig into what's working, spot where new hires are still struggling to get up to speed, and turn that insight into better materials and better training. You'll partner closely with our Training Lead to deliver onboarding day to day, while also helping evolve the program as our product and team continue to grow. If you're energized by joining a strong program and pushing it further, love making complex product knowledge click for new learners, and want to stay close to frontline Support work, this might be the role for you. About This Role As the Support Trainer, you'll design, develop, and deliver the training programs that enable the Support team to provide exceptional service. You'll work closely with Support team members and cross-functional partners to build training materials, assess where the team needs support, and ensure everyone stays current on product knowledge and best practices as we grow. Since this function is central to how our team scales, you'll have the opportunity to build on a strong foundation, strengthen how we onboard and continuously develop our team, and create a culture where growth and knowledge-sharing are part of everyday work. What You'll Own Training Program Design and Delivery Deliver and further develop training programs for new Support hires and ongoing team development, covering product knowledge, Support processes, internal tools, and talent acquisition-related processes. Facilitate workshops, one-on-one coaching, and asynchronous learning sessions to help new team members provide a high-quality customer experience. Create clear, engaging, and comprehensive training materials, including guides, videos, and tutorials. Measuring and Improving Training Collaborate with Support Leadership to assess training needs and create customized learning experiences. Continuously update training materials based on product updates, new features, and feedback from the team. Track the progress of trainees and provide feedback to support continuous improvement. Use trainee-progress and performance data to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, connect changes to outcomes such as ramp speed, CSAT, and QA scores, and refine the program as needed. Staying Close to Support Regularly spend time handling Support tickets to maintain continued familiarity with processes and workflows. Use firsthand experience with the work to keep training grounded in what the job actually requires. Role Requirements Proven experience designing or delivering training programs within a Support or Customer Success organization, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment. Meaningful experience working in Support or another customer-facing technical function. Experience building onboarding programs, facilitating workshops, and coaching individuals through skill development. Ability to connect training outcomes to real performance and customer experience improvements, not just completion rates. Strong ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging, and digestible learning materials. Analytical mindset for identifying skill gaps, spotting trends in performance, and iterating on programs over time. Comfort working in ambiguity and building structure and process where none exists. Passionate about customer experience and the role well-trained Support teams play in creating trust and loyalty. Skilled at delivering constructive, actionable feedback and coaching people toward growth. Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners across different styles and experience levels. You Should Apply If: You're excited about iterating on a strong program foundation and thinking creatively about enabling Support on highly technical topics. You thrive on turning complex product and process knowledge into training that's clear, practical, and engaging. You want to stay close to the frontline work you're training people to do, not just design programs from a distance. You're data-driven and want to tie training effectiveness to real performance and customer outcomes. You love coaching people and watching them grow into confident, capable support professionals. You May Not Want to Apply If: You'd rather focus solely on individual coaching than program design and materials development. You prefer not to spend regular time handling Support tickets to stay connected to the work. You're not interested in balancing program-building with hands-on training delivery. You're uncomfortable iterating on training programs based on feedback and changing product needs. Fortune and Fortune Media IP Limited are not affiliated with, and do not endorse products or services of GitLab. An overview of this role As the Corporate Development Director, you'll help influence how GitLab invests to win: what we build, what we buy, where we partner, and what we should not pursue. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships. This role straddles strategy and M&A engagements. You'll lead research that frames GitLab's options: mapping the markets in and around our AI-powered DevSecOps platform, testing where we have a right to win, and turning that into clear recommendations for the executive team. When the answer is to acquire, you'll drive the deal process end to end, from outreach through close and integration. Success here is not measured by deal count. It looks like sharper strategic choices: a well-reasoned point of view on our priority markets, investment theses that product and executive leaders rely on, acquisitions that speed up the roadmap when buying is the right answer, and an educated no when it isn't. You'll own the wider market perspective rather than individual product categories, and work with the team's Analyst on the research behind it. What you'll do Strategy and research Own the wider market view. Research the broader market GitLab competes in, beyond specific product categories: competitive dynamics, AI-native entrants, technology shifts and where value is moving. Collaborate with the team's Analyst on the research and turn the findings into a clear point of view on where GitLab should play. Build an investment thesis for each focus area. Work with Product and Engineering leaders to define the problems worth solving, the capabilities GitLab needs, and what it would cost in time and money to get there on our own. Own the competitive and landscape view. Maintain market maps and a current read on GitLab's competitors: their strategy, product direction, positioning, pricing, and M&A and funding activity. Produce competitor analyses that show where we lead, where we're exposed and how rivals are likely to move. Flag shifts by competitors, hyperscalers and AI labs that change our options, and bring the implications to Product and the executive team. Define where GitLab should not play. Identify adjacencies that dilute focus and markets where the economics or competition work against us. Make the case for a no with the same rigor as a yes. Build, buy or partner Run the build, buy, partner analysis. For each strategic gap, compare the options side by side on speed, cost, risk, control and strategic fit, and bring a clear recommendation. Deliver strategic clarity to executives and the Board. Produce short strategy memos/decks and business cases that set out the decision, the trade-offs and what we give up with each path. Feed company strategy and planning. Bring an outside-in view of the market and the inorganic options available into annual and long-range planning. Work hand in hand with Strategic Partnerships. When partnering is the right answer, frame the opportunity and hand it to the partnership owner with a clear thesis. When it isn't, explain why. Deal execution and integration Own end-to-end deal process management. Validate target fit against GitLab's our target profile, product roadmap and other criteria, and build the acquisition rationale and business case. Drive our M&A process from intro call through the various steps through to closing and integration. Evaluate the deal. Develop valuation, commercial integrity assessment, impact on GitLab's business and provide negotiations assistance to the VP and the executive team. Lead cross-functional diligence. Run pre-LOI validation and diligence across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and People, and communicate findings clearly. Drive deal documents with Legal. Prepare NDAs, LOIs and purchase agreements with GitLab Legal and outside counsel. Own integration outcomes. Lead post-acquisition integration as the DRI, measured against the roadmap and business goals in the business case. Bring lessons learned back into the strategy work. Build the external network. Maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, bankers and advisors that bring us early insight and pipeline. What you'll bring Strategy and deal experience. 8+ years across corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting or technology investing, including 5+ years leading acquisitions end to end in enterprise software. Structured strategic thinking. You form a point of view from incomplete information, test it against data, and change your mind when the evidence says so. You're as comfortable recommending that we stay out of a market as that we enter it. Market research depth. Skilled in market sizing, competitive analysis and landscape mapping, and in turning research into a recommendation, not a report. Deal craft. Skilled in valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring, negotiation and integration planning, with experience across varied consideration structures. Technical fluency. A working understanding of software development, DevSecOps and the AI landscape, enough to hold substantive conversations with product and engineering leaders about roadmaps and architecture. Clear executive communication. You write short, decision-ready updates and present trade-offs plainly to executives and the Board, in an async-first environment. Influence without authority. You build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal and move decisions forward across functions. Ownership with collaboration. You own the strategic view and the recommendation, and partner closely with the team's Analyst on research and analysis. Preferred: familiarity with the DevSecOps, security, AI and open source ecosystems. You value the all remote lifestyle and share our values . About the team The Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team helps GitLab decide how to grow beyond what we build on our own. We own inorganic strategy: acquisitions, strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and AI labs, and the research that tells us which to pursue and which to pass on. We work across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and the executive group. We set direction and do the detailed work ourselves, with a high degree of ownership and transparency in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. How GitLab Supports Full-Time Employees Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being Flexible Paid Time Off Team Member Resource Groups Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan Growth and Development Fund Parental Leave Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

You'll be challenged, supported, and given room to grow, building the AI that's changing how commodity trading gets done. Your work has reach. From shaping Leonidas AI, to powering smarter decisions for traders around the world, to changing how commodity trading is done. And because we're growing fast, you'll accelerate your career with a level of ownership and impact you simply won't get at bigger, slower-moving companies. Customer Success Manager We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our growing CS team in London, reporting to our Chief of Staff. You'll own a portfolio of clients — including hedge funds, oil majors, refiners, vessel owners and trading companies — and be responsible for their onboarding, adoption, retention and growth. As part of a small, global CS team, there's plenty of room to shape the role and grow with it. What You'll Be Doing Own onboarding, training and support for your client portfolio, driving product adoption and account health. Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their workflows and challenges. Partner with Sales to spot cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and manage renewal risk. Feed client insight back to the Product team to help shape the roadmap. Maintain and improve our Customer Success processes and tools. Help build a company-wide culture centered on customer success. About You Some knowledge of, or experience in, oil & gas, commodities, or trading — you understand the world our clients operate in. Experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success or Account Management — ideally supporting a data, intelligence, or SaaS product. Comfortable using AI and automation tools in your day-to-day work, and curious to find smarter ways of doing things. Strong communicator, comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders. Analytical and process-minded — you like understanding what drives client value. Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity — happy to figure things out and get stuck in. High level of integrity and alignment with Sparta's values. Why Join Sparta? At Sparta, our culture is built on innovation, collaboration, and high performance. We thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative is celebrated, challenges are embraced, and impact is rewarded. • Equity in a high-growth, VC-backed company • $42M in Series B funding — strong market traction and investment • Early-stage growth — build your career as we scale • Market-leading product — we are redefining commodity trading intelligence • Top-tier tools and technology to support your success What's the Culture Like at Sparta? You'll collaborate with people who are passionate about our mission and committed to building outstanding products and outcomes for our customers. The Sparta Code Understanding is non-negotiable Understanding leads to believing. Believing leads to winning. The 'why' is the difference between compliance and conviction. Before we execute, we ask: why does this matter, who does it serve, what changes if we win? People who understand the mission don't need to be managed. Ask for forgiveness, not for permission Most decisions are reversible. Most fears are not. 90% of decisions are reversible. Make them, ship, iterate. Perfection is the enemy of efficiency. Bias for action means moving before you have all the answers, but it isn't recklessness. The rule: tell the rest of us what you did, what changed, what you learned. Fall in love with the problem The mission wins. Your idea doesn't have to. Solutions flatter our ego. They feel like progress. But solutions without problems are opinions, and opinions don't move customers, markets, or teammates. The goal is to find what's true, not to win the room. If your idea gets killed because a better one comes along, that's the system working. It's your fault. Lucky you. If it's on you, it's in your control. True ownership sounds harsh until you feel how liberating it is. If every problem is yours, you stop spending energy on who to blame and start spending it on how to fix it. Effective leaders default to 'it's on me'. Not out of guilt, but out of agency. Conflict is a gift Honesty is an expression of care. Withholding feedback is choosing comfort over growth, yours and your colleague's. Staying silent deprives others of the chance to learn. We challenge openly and with positive intent. Done with care, this builds trust. Done with ego, it destroys it. Sparta Commodities is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and promotes diversity within its workforce. We are determined that no-one will ever receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status, race, veteran status or any basis covered by appropriate law.
