Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year.  The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. The Opportunity We're looking for a Manager, Freight Audit Services to help build and run our client-facing freight audit service. You'll help clients check freight charges, resolve billing discrepancies, and understand their transportation costs. The service will focus on freight invoices. You'll build the operating processes, onboard clients, oversee audits, and hire a team as demand grows. You'll also work with Product, Engineering, and commercial teams to improve the service and its economics. This role suits someone who likes building from the ground up, works carefully with data, and earns clients' trust. You'll be expected to use AI and automation yourself and help the team put them to work. You Will Help launch the service and establish procedures, quality checks, service standards, ownership, and escalation paths. Lead client onboarding: gather contracts, invoices, shipment data, and authorizations, then confirm the audit scope and readiness to begin. Run daily audit delivery, checking invoices against contracted rates, terms, and shipment records and investigating discrepancies. Manage carrier disputes and billing corrections. Keep supporting evidence, follow issues through resolution, and distinguish potential savings from confirmed client value. Be the operational point of contact for clients. Explain findings, resolve escalations, and lead service reviews with clear reporting. Hire, train, and develop the team as demand grows. Match staffing and workloads to client needs, quality standards, and cost to serve. Work with Product and Engineering to define requirements and test improvements. Build and trial AI-assisted workflows for extracting invoice data, comparing charges with contracts, and investigating exceptions; verify accuracy before expanding their use. Support Sales and Account Management with discovery, service scoping, implementation planning, and input on pricing and proposals. Track onboarding time, audit turnaround, accuracy, dispute outcomes, client value, productivity, and profitability. Use those results to improve delivery. Success in Your First Year Initial clients receive a reliable service with repeatable onboarding, audit, dispute, and reporting processes. Clients understand the findings, dispute outcomes, and financial value the service delivers. A well-trained team grows with demand while maintaining quality and manageable workloads. Client and audit feedback leads to better product capabilities and service, with measurable gains from AI, automation, and lower cost to serve. You Should Have A record of strong results in operations, logistics, financial operations, client delivery, consulting, or a related field. The ability to make progress on an unfamiliar problem, exercise judgment with incomplete information, and finish what you start. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You can reconcile data in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools and investigate discrepancies. Clear client communication and the judgment to handle sensitive issues, explain findings, and set realistic expectations. Leadership experience in managing people, developing colleagues, or leading cross-team projects. The ability to quickly learn freight contracts, billing practices, and audit procedures, and to work with Product and Engineering to improve them. Hands-on experience using generative AI to analyze information or improve a recurring workflow. You can explain what you built, how you tested it, and what improved. Sound judgment about AI: you check results against source data, recognize unreliable outputs, protect confidential information, and know when human review is needed. Experience in freight auditing, ocean logistics, service launches, or client implementations is helpful. We welcome strong candidates from adjacent fields who can demonstrate the ability to learn, ownership, and judgment this role requires. Commitment to Equal Opportunity At Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Staff+ Fullstack Software Engineer, Safeguards Engineering
AnthropicSan Francisco, United States (Hybrid)27 days ago

About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. Note: this job post is for Fullstack Software Engineers only. If you are a Backend Engineer, please see our Backend Software Engineer post  here .  About the role We are looking for fullstack software engineers to help build safety and oversight mechanisms for our AI systems. As a software engineer on the Safeguards team, you will work to monitor models, prevent misuse, and ensure user well-being. This role will focus on building systems to detect unwanted model behaviors and prevent disallowed use of models. You will apply your technical skills to uphold our principles of safety, transparency, and oversight while enforcing our terms of service and acceptable use policies. We have multiple teams that are currently hiring within Safeguards. Team placement occurs after the interview process, taking into account your interests and experience alongside organizational needs. This flexible approach allows us to match talented engineers where they'll have the greatest impact and growth potential.  Responsibilities: Design and build the internal review tools analysts use to investigate abuse — dashboards, case queues, and evidence viewers that make high-volume, high-stakes decisions fast and accurate. Build the interfaces where humans supervise agents: streaming output, interruption and approval flows, and clear provenance for every action an agent takes. Surface abuse patterns to our research teams through the visualizations and exploration tools that make emerging patterns legible. Own the frontend architecture for tools handling sensitive data at scale — performance under large datasets, correctness under real-time updates, and access controls enforced end to end. You may be a good fit if you have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experience Proficiency in TypeScript and modern React; comfortable in Python for backend work The ability to work across the stack Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong candidates may also: 8+ years of experience in a software engineering position, not including internships or co-ops Have experience building data-dense internal tools or operator interfaces, not just marketing or consumer surfaces Have experience with integrity, spam, fraud, or abuse detection and mitigation Have experience building trust and safety detection mechanisms and intervention for AI/ML systems Have experience with prompt engineering, jailbreak attacks, and other adversarial inputs Have worked closely with operational teams to build custom internal tooling The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $405,000 — $485,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit  anthropic.com/careers  directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Product Designer, Growth

About the role Growth at Anthropic is about helping people discover what Claude can do and make it part of how they work, from someone's first session to an entire company rolling out Claude. We're a small design team working across all of Anthropic's products, on problems that often don't have established playbooks, because the products and the capabilities behind them change so quickly. We drive growth by making the product itself better, favoring foundational changes and new product experiences over small optimizations. Our focus spans whatever most limits Anthropic's growth, and priorities can shift quickly. As a senior Product Designer on Growth, you'll own how Claude grows with people who use it for their everyday work. You'll dig into why some people make Claude a habit and others don't, find the real bottlenecks, and lead the product changes that move them. You'll set the vision for this area, partner closely with product, engineering, and data science, and raise the quality bar for the designers around you. We're looking for designers who thrive in ambiguity and pair sharp diagnostic judgment with exceptional craft. You form a clear point of view from messy signals, prototype quickly to test it, and drive alignment across teams to ship it. You use tools like Claude Code to explore ideas and push what's possible. Key responsibilities Own growth for how people use Claude in their everyday work, end to end, as your full-time focus Diagnose what drives deep, habitual use and what blocks it, combining data, research, and hands-on time in the product Set an opinionated vision for the area and turn it into a roadmap with your PM, engineering, and data science partners Redesign core parts of the product to drive growth, from onboarding and first-run experiences to the everyday workflows people rely on most Shape hypotheses and experiments, and judge results with a nuanced view of how we win, not just the topline metric Deliver exceptionally crafted interactions and set the quality bar for your area Drive alignment with partner teams whose work touches your area, connecting individual use to team and company adoption Mentor other designers, and frame problems clearly enough that others can own them Prototype and test ideas quickly with Claude Code and other AI tools Minimum qualifications A portfolio of shipped product design work that shows product vision and a high level of craft Experience owning growth for a major product area end to end, including diagnosing problems and setting direction Deep growth design experience in activation, onboarding, retention, engagement, or expansion, on a product at meaningful scale Hands-on experience designing, launching, and interpreting experiments, and using them to make product decisions Fluency with product analytics such as funnels, retention, and engagement Proficiency with design, prototyping, and AI tools, such as Figma and Claude Code, and a habit of learning new tools to push what's possible Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience driving alignment across product, engineering, and data science Preferred qualifications Experience leading growth strategy across multiple teams or product areas Experience designing enterprise/B2B SaaS, productivity, or collaboration tools Experience with product-led growth, from a single user to a team to a company-wide rollout Experience mentoring designers or shaping a design practice Comfort querying data yourself with SQL or a similar tool Experience prototyping with front-end code (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS) Experience defining AI-powered workflows for yourself or your team A clear point of view on when a product should ask for attention, and when it should stay out of the way Passion for building safe, beneficial AI that helps people do their best work Representative projects Diagnose why some people make a product part of their daily work and others drift away, then lead the changes that close the gap Redesign a core part of the product so people return to it more often and get more value each time Set the vision for a product's first-run experience and lead it through experiments to a redesigned, permanent flow Design the path from one person's daily use to their whole team adopting it The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $305,000 — $460,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Technical Lead, AI Engineering (Sales, Service & Supply Chain)

About Lucid At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid's proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our "Compromise Nothing™" approach to the global automotive market. That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.   We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what's possible and shape the future of mobility. About the role   Lucid is putting an AI layer over the systems that run our commercial and industrial operations, how we sell vehicles, how we service them, and how we move parts through a global supply chain. This role sets the technical direction for that work and is accountable for what reaches production.   You will sit close to the business. Sales, Service and Supply Chain leaders will bring you problems, and you will decide what is worth building, design it, build the hard parts yourself, and lead a distributed engineering team to deliver the rest. This is a hands-on lead role, architecture and code, not a management track.   What you'll do   Own the architecture for LLM-based and agentic systems across Sales, Service and Supply Chain: assistants over enterprise knowledge, agents that act against internal APIs, document and data extraction pipelines, and the platform pieces they share.   Deliver those systems into the channels our customers and employees already use: web and in-app chat, email and SMS. Own the conversational contract across them, including threading, context carry-over, handoff to a human, and tone appropriate to the channel.   Turn business problems into engineering plans. Work directly with stakeholders to define the outcome, then sequence the work so value lands early and often.   Build the parts that make AI safe to run in the enterprise: input and output guardrails, identity-aware access to tools and data, prompt governance, and clear trust boundaries between internal and external-facing surfaces.   Own the tool layer, including MCP servers and internal tool interfaces, so agents reach business systems through contracts that are versioned, permissioned and testable.   Define how quality is measured, including evaluation datasets, regression suites, tracing and production telemetry, and make it the default gate for prompt and model changes.   Own the unit economics. Set targets for cost and latency per conversation and per resolution, and hold them through model routing, context trimming, caching, batching and right-sized retrieval.   Integrate with systems of record: ERP, supplier portals, service and CRM platforms, logistics and planning systems. The interesting problems here are data, integration and correctness more than model choice.   Set standards the wider team builds on , such as shared services, reusable patterns and review expectations, and make sure they hold up outside your own code.   Lead technically across time zones, including close partnership with our engineering team in India. Mentor engineers, review designs, and be the person others bring their hardest problem to.   Be honest about where AI helps and where it does not. Part of the job is preventing expensive detours.   What you'll bring   10+ years building and operating production software, with 3+ years owning the technical direction of a team or a significant platform.   Strong Python and solid distributed systems fundamentals. Comfortable owning services end to end, including what happens after they ship.   Real production experience with LLM applications: retrieval-augmented generation, agent and tool-calling patterns, structured output, streaming, prompt design and iteration under load.   Strong hands-on experience with LLM engineering tooling such as Langfuse or LangSmith , used for tracing, prompt versioning, evaluation runs and production monitoring, not only local experiments.   Good working experience with MCP: building and consuming MCP servers, designing tool schemas, and handling authentication and permissions at the tool boundary.   Practical command of LLM cost optimization: model routing and tiering, context and prompt compression, prompt caching, batching, token budgeting, and knowing which lever to pull when spend moves the wrong way.   Experience delivering AI over customer and employee communication channels such as chat, email and SMS, and the integrations behind them.   Judgment on the model landscape, across hosted models, managed services and fine-tuning, enough to make a defensible choice on cost, latency and accuracy and move forward.   Strong AWS engineering (or equivalent): serverless and container workloads, event-driven design, IAM, networking basics, and a working sense of what things cost at scale.   Experience with the data layer behind AI systems, relational, document and vector, and with keeping retrieval accurate as content and users grow.   A concrete point of view on evaluating AI systems, and the discipline to build the harness before scaling the feature.   Experience working with non-technical stakeholders and translating between business intent and system design.   Nice to have   Automotive, manufacturing, logistics or another operations-heavy domain background.   Exposure to SAP, supply chain execution, EDI, or field service and CRM platforms.   Hands-on work with messaging and contact center platforms such as Twilio, Amazon SES or Pinpoint, Salesforce Service Cloud, or similar.   Security-sensitive AI work: prompt injection defense, tenant or supplier data isolation, red-teaming.   Multi-agent orchestration, or experience running an evaluation program at scale.   Experience leading distributed teams across US and India time zones.   How we work   Small teams with direct ownership and a short path from a business problem to a running system. We prefer working software and measured results over decks, and we expect engineers at this level to have opinions and defend them with evidence.   Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.   Base Pay Range (Annual) $216,600 — $317,680 USD Compensation & Benefits:   Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive  benefits package  including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
