Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Payments Product Sales is a team of deep functional and technical specialists who lead and advise on opportunities for some of the most strategically important products in Stripe's portfolio. We work alongside Stripe's Core Sales and Customer Success teams to help users adopt products that improve payment experiences, increase conversion, support international growth, and create new sources of revenue. We are hiring an Account Executive, Product - Local Payment Methods to grow adoption of Stripe's local payment methods across APAC. This role will work across Stripe's global LPM portfolio while developing particular expertise in the payment preferences, market dynamics, and user opportunities most relevant to Australia and New Zealand, Japan, India, Singapore, and Southeast Asia. The portfolio and market emphasis will evolve as user needs and Stripe's capabilities grow. What you'll do As an Account Executive, Product focused on Local Payment Methods, you will be a quota-carrying product-sales overlay responsible for growing adoption and revenue across new and existing Stripe users. You will partner with Core Account Executives and Customer Success Managers throughout the sales cycle—from opportunity identification and discovery through business-case development, commercial negotiation, technical validation, implementation, activation, and expansion. You will help some of Stripe's largest and most sophisticated users understand how regionally relevant payment methods can support conversion, customer choice, global expansion, and sustainable revenue growth for users and payment-method partners. You will develop deep knowledge of Stripe's portfolio and the diverse payment behaviors that shape commerce across APAC, including bank-based payments, wallets, real-time payment experiences, and other market-specific methods. You are an adept salesperson who can engage in business and technical conversations at multiple levels of an organization. You are comfortable navigating product-led integrations and complex customer structures, and you can turn payment-method complexity into a clear commercial and technical path forward. You enjoy building value in competitive situations and creating scalable go-to-market motions from what you learn in the field. Responsibilities Deliver against an individual quota by driving adoption, payment volume, and revenue for Stripe's local payment methods across APAC. Partner with Core Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify, qualify, develop, and close high-potential LPM opportunities across new and existing users. Build territory and account strategies that reflect local payment preferences and user expansion priorities across Australia and New Zealand, Japan, India, Singapore, Southeast Asia, and other priority APAC markets. Lead discovery with business, product, finance, and technical stakeholders to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate payment-method strategies. Develop customer-specific business cases that connect LPM adoption to conversion, customer choice, market entry, and revenue growth. Lead complex commercial discussions and coordinate with Partnerships and Deal teams when opportunities involve payment-method partners or bespoke commercial structures. Work with Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Post-Sales teams to translate user requirements into viable integration and launch plans. Guide users from initial evaluation through technical validation, implementation, activation, and post-launch expansion. Monitor adoption and payment volume after launch, identify barriers and whitespace, and coordinate with account teams on growth plans. Serve as an internal and customer-facing LPM expert, creating field enablement, account-planning guidance, and repeatable regional sales plays. Synthesize market intelligence and user feedback for Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Marketing to help inform product and go-to-market priorities. Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a closely related commercial role at a technology company, with a track record of strong performance against goals. Experience leading complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple business, commercial, and technical stakeholders. Ability to understand technical product requirements and translate them into clear customer outcomes and commercially viable solutions. Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with product and engineering teams, operational leaders, and C-level executives. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Experience developing business cases and leading complex commercial negotiations. A self-starting, highly organized approach and the ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time for user meetings, team events, sales kickoffs, and occasional international business needs. Preferred qualifications Experience in payments, alternative payment methods, ecommerce, or financial technology. Knowledge of payment preferences and commerce trends in one or more major APAC markets. Experience working in a product-sales overlay model alongside account executives, customer success teams, or technical sellers. Familiarity with product-led integrations and complex customer organizational or account structures. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Design at Anthropic sits at the intersection of craft, research, and product intuition. We're a small team working on products that millions of people use daily—and on interactions that don't have established conventions yet. Our work shapes how people experience AI: whether Claude feels like a tool or a collaborator, whether it earns trust or erodes it. We partner closely with engineers and researchers, often designing around capabilities that are emerging in real-time. That means staying close to the models, prototyping rapidly, and being comfortable with ambiguity. We care deeply about craft—the details that make something feel polished and trustworthy—but we ship fast and learn in the open. We'd rather get something in front of users and iterate than wait for perfection. We're looking for designers who ship fast and stay in motion—people who would rather get something in front of users this week than perfect it for a month. You're excited to question fundamental UI assumptions and invent patterns that feel native to AI, and you're already using tools like Claude Code to extend what you can build. You pay attention to where model capabilities are heading, not just what Claude can do today, and you find ways to keep caring about the pixels, the copy, and the edge cases while shipping quickly. Read more here for the type of features we build. Key responsibilities Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps, and play an active role in shipping. Understand the technical architecture of our products and define primitives for new capabilities. Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail and polish, identifying opportunities to improve quality and consistency of broader flows Craft beautiful, polished, and delightful user interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of our AI technology Comfortable in code, design, prototypes, and learning new ways to communicate ideas and concepts Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, resource-constrained startup environment Minimum qualifications Experience designing and shipping complex workflows, enterprise/B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products end-to-end Proven track record of executing end-to-end on large and complex products, or a series of products, in ambiguous environments A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a creative partner in your own design practice Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority Preferred qualifications Experience prototyping with front-end code (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS) Passion for crafting scaled, highly impactful, safe and beneficial artificial intelligence technologies to enable new possibilities The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $305,000 — $385,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. [London] Manager, Technical Deployment
AnthropicLondon, United Kingdom (Hybrid)42 days ago
InternshipHybridMid
gollmconcretearchitecturecompliancecompliance+6

About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role Anthropic is building the Forward Deployed Engineering team to help the world's most ambitious organizations adopt Claude in ways that are transformative, safe, and lasting. Our Technical Deployment Leads (TDLs) and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed with strategic customers to ship production AI applications that solve real business problems. Our delivery model pairs two roles: FDEs own the technical artifact, and TDLs own the engagement end-to-end — from statement of work (SOW) through production deployment. As a Manager of Technical Deployment for Financial Services, you own engagement portfolio health across your vertical. You set the bar for delivery quality and build the playbooks and evaluation frameworks that let the practice scale. Your work will directly influence Anthropic's product direction and establish Anthropic as the trusted partner for AI transformation across the Fortune 100. This is a player-coach role. You need to be credible in architecture conversations with a customer's engineering leads and equally comfortable in sales conversations in front of executive sponsors, and you will lead the most complex engagements yourself when the stakes call for it. Most of your impact will come through the people you hire and the standard you hold them to. You won't write production code, but you will pressure-test the technical decisions your TDL team makes with FDEs. Responsibilities Hire, develop, and retain a team of TDLs embedded in Financial Services engagements. Set a high bar for delivery judgment, technical fluency, and customer presence, and run the interviews that hold it. Manage each TDL directly: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, direct feedback, and a growth plan. Build a bench that runs engagements well without you in the room. Own portfolio health across the vertical. Track which engagements are on track, at risk, or closing out, and intervene early when delivery drifts. Run engagement quality reviews with your team. Own customer outcomes across the portfolio. Hold the executive relationship with customer sponsors, run steering committees, and represent Anthropic's credibility with senior business, risk, and engineering leaders. Make the staffing call for each engagement. Work with FDE managers to match TDLs and engineers to each customer, and adjust as scope changes. Lead the most complex engagements yourself. Take the TDL seat when engagement size, regulatory exposure, or organizational complexity calls for it, from delivery plan through production. Set the bar for delivery excellence — SOW quality, MVP scoping, and value measurement. Ensure every engagement has a defensible impact story. Codify reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks across the team. Turn what works in the field into delivery infrastructure that lets the practice scale. Partner with Sales to qualify engagements, shape scope, and inform SOWs. Partner with Marketing and Sales on Financial Services–specific go-to-market materials, reference cases, and positioning. Run the team's operating rhythm: engagement reviews, knowledge-sharing, and escalation support, and report into the wider post-sales cadence and dashboards. Set team goals tied to customer outcomes. Bring the field back to Anthropic. Surface delivery lessons and emerging Financial Services use cases to Product and Research, and represent the vertical in leadership discussions. Consistently uphold Anthropic's values as you lead your team. TDLs should be strong representatives of Anthropic's culture as they work within customer environments. Travel to customer sites (25–50% expected).  You May Be a Good Fit If You Have 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery, whether you came up as a founder, engineer, data scientist, or researcher who has moved into deployments, with at least 3 years directly managing people who owned delivery outcomes. Have a track record of building and leading technical delivery teams in enterprise environments, ideally including embedded or forward-deployed teams working at client sites. Have delivered AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production. You understand solution patterns, integration approaches, and what breaks in real environments. Bring depth in Financial Services. You have delivered technology programs inside banks, insurers, or asset managers, you understand how model risk, security, and compliance review shape what ships, and you can speak credibly with a CIO, a chief risk officer, and a head of engineering. Can navigate architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and judge whether a proposed agent design is realistic. You are accountable for the technical direction your team sets alongside FDEs. Have experience with value-based scoping, including TCO/ROI quantification and post-deployment impact measurement. Thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists. You have built a team, practice, or function from an early stage. Have executive presence: polished, credible, and concise with senior leaders in high-stakes settings, and just as effective in a hands-on engagement review with your team. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can translate technical complexity into clear narratives for diverse audiences. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: £255,000 — £325,000 GBP Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role As Head of Customer Success, APAC at Anthropic, you will build and lead our Customer Success function across Asia Pacific. You will scale a team of managers and CSMs who help our most strategic APAC customers realize the full value of Claude. This is a foundational leadership role: you will establish how we run CS in the region, hire and develop a multi-market team of managers, and partner closely with your global counterparts to deliver a globally consistent customer experience while localising where it matters. APAC is not one market. You will lead across India, Japan, Korea, ASEAN, and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), each with its own buying culture, regulatory context, language needs and pace of AI adoption. You will work hand-in-hand with global GTM, Product and Engineering leaders to shape our APAC CS strategy, take APAC customer priorities back into the business, and drive adoption, retention and growth across some of the most exciting markets in the world. Key responsibilities Build and lead a multi-layered Customer Success organisation across APAC, managing managers and scaling the team responsibly as our APAC business grows. Define and execute the APAC CS strategy in close partnership with global CS leadership, aligning with the global agenda while localising approach, motion and programmes for APAC market dynamics. Own CS business outcomes including customer health, retention, expansion and satisfaction across APAC accounts. Hire, develop and coach a high-performing team of CS managers and individual contributors, building a culture that reflects Anthropic's values across Asia's diverse geographies, languages and working cultures. Partner with global CS, Sales, Product and Engineering teams so the voice of APAC customers reaches decision-making forums. Establish scalable processes, playbooks and operating cadences that work across APAC time zones (India to Japan, Korea and ANZ) and overlap responsibly with global teams. Represent Anthropic with senior customer stakeholders across APAC, leading executive engagements, QBRs and strategic account conversations with enterprises, digital natives, startups and public sector bodies. Build strong working relationships with APAC channel and cloud partners, and with systems integrators and consulting firms that shape enterprise AI adoption in the region. Contribute to global CS strategy as a senior leader, bringing an APAC perspective to team planning, segmentation and prioritisation. Help shape how we deploy AI responsibly with customers across APAC's varied regulatory environments, including data residency, privacy and sector rules in markets such as India, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Australia. Minimum qualifications 15+ years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, professional services or customer-facing advisory roles, with a track record of advising senior client executives on complex transformation programmes. Experience building and leading multi-market Customer Success or Technical Success organisations, including managing managers Track record of scaling CS teams across APAC at enterprise software, SaaS or AI/ML companies Demonstrated ability to balance global alignment with regional localisation across multiple APAC markets and cultures. Strong people leadership: a clear philosophy on hiring, coaching and developing managers and senior ICs. Experience owning enterprise customer relationships and driving measurable business outcomes (retention, expansion, adoption) in APAC markets. Strong executive presence and the ability to represent a company credibly with C-suite stakeholders across APAC. Excellent cross-functional partnership skills, particularly working across time zones with global leadership teams. Preferred qualifications Experience leading Customer Success across APAC Working fluency in an APAC language (for example Japanese, Korean or an ASEAN language) or a strong record of leading teams that operate in those languages Experience standing up a CS function in a new APAC market from the ground up Background in API products, developer platforms or consumption-based business models Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business audiences Experience working with APAC hyperscaler, channel and SI partners on joint customer delivery Track record of influencing global product roadmaps through structured customer feedback from APAC markets Passion for responsible AI development and deployment Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. About the role As an Applied AI Engineer on our Enterprise team, your role is to guide some of the UK's largest businesses to the frontier of AI and help them deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working. You will become the go-to Claude Platform specialist and trusted technical advisor for your customers, advising their engineering teams on architecture, agent design, and evaluation, and working with the C-level and senior executives who sponsor these programmes to show the business value Claude can create and help them reach a confident decision to build on Claude. Enterprise deals are different. Procurement cycles are longer, more stakeholders are involved, and success depends on being able to connect the technical work to the outcomes the boardroom cares about. You will be as comfortable advising an engineering team on evaluation and architecture as you are presenting a value case to a CIO or CTO, and you will carry the technical thread across every stage of a multi-quarter engagement. You will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take each customer from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude. Once they have decided, you set their systems integration partner up to deliver, agreeing the target architecture and what good looks like, and you stay close as the customer's technical advisor on Claude throughout deployment, while the partner does the build. Working alongside Anthropic's Product and Engineering teams, you will use your knowledge of the Claude Platform to advise on evaluation, recommend architectures that meet enterprise security and scale requirements, and create the technical and business resources that help large organisations succeed with Claude. Responsibilities Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take UK enterprise customers from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude Lead the technical side of each opportunity, then remain the customer's technical advisor on Claude as they deploy Set customers and their systems integration partners up to deliver: agree the target architecture, define what good looks like, and advise the delivery team as the build progresses Help customer engineering teams see how they would build on Claude, covering architecture, agent design and evaluation Build and present the business value case for Claude to C-level and senior executives, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes such as cost, revenue, risk, and time to market Guide customers through long, multi-stakeholder procurement, including security and architecture reviews and a clear path to production, navigating security, compliance, data residency and governance requirements (including UK GDPR) Feed patterns from enterprise engagements back to Product, Engineering, and the wider Applied AI team, and travel to customer sites across the UK You may be a good fit if you have 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder Pre-sales or technical advisory experience selling into large enterprises, ideally in the UK, including owning the technical win (evaluations, proofs of concept, due diligence with security, legal and procurement) Experience with value-based selling and presenting a business case to C-level and VP-level stakeholders Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements, ideally in regulated sectors The ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences, and a passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: £225,000 — £255,000 GBP Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
