GiveDirectly has delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty across 15 countries since 2011. We believe cash transfers are one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid, with the research to back it up. Our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We are one of Time100's Most Influential Companies of 2026. We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We support high ownership and real professional growth. Curious about what it's really like to work here? Read our values and hear from the people who do . If they resonate, this could be a great fit! Location: This role is fully remote but must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. About this role Individual Giving has set an objective to double new donor acquisition in 2027 and expand our awareness through brand ads for key segments. Paid media is the biggest lever we have to get there, and as Growth Manager, Paid Media, you'll own delivery of this important priority. To help get us there, GiveDirectly is planning to expand its spend on paid media. We are looking for someone who will be a strong cultural fit—curious, keen not to follow industry standards but to look for disproportionately high-leverage opportunities, keen to constantly learn and adjust, and comfortable launching a paid program without agency support. This role would suit someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to pivot and change tactics based on data and changing circumstances. Reporting to our Director of Individual Giving, you'll manage all paid acquisition for Individual Giving across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, and also work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage all upper-funnel media buys (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, etc.) for both the Individual Giving and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for executing our paid media program end to end, including negotiating and managing contracts, creating ads, capturing screenshots for documentation, publishing campaigns, and monitoring performance. You will also build our tracking and attribution systems and use that data to grow both one-time and monthly giving. To do so, we are looking for a strong individual contributor who is comfortable executing within the platforms without a big team or agency. The Individual Giving team is responsible for generating revenue across donors with an annual gift below $50k. To do so, the Individual Giving team executes compelling public fundraising campaigns, drives creative donor-facing content, and tests new marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our donor base and raising awareness of direct cash transfers. You'll join a small but high-performing team that runs several campaigns at once and works with a lot of independence. You'll partner with Brand and Marketing colleagues each campaign cycle to ensure integrated marketing across all public-facing materials. Level: Manager (we are willing to hire at Senior Manager for more experienced candidates) Reports To: Director of Individual Giving Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel ~1–2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits What you'll bring: 3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with a proven track record running paid media to a conversion or revenue target, in-house or agency, across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required. Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M a year with a track record of strong performance measurement, with the discipline to trust your own data over platform recommendations and the judgment to know when to scale a channel, cut it, or admit it isn't working—pause and reset. A genuine test-and-learn habit: you design multivariable testing across creative, audience, messaging, and landing pages, using these insights to scale the program. Strong written communication, the ability to own creative direction of ads (from conception and drafting through launch), and experience with or a strong eye for graphic design (Figma, Canva). You'll work with content creation teams for bigger projects, but initial ideation and direction should come from you. Strong, succinct communication, and the ability to work productively with a Brand and Marketing team focused on brand awareness. Alignment with GiveDirectly's values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. Experience with tracking and attribution to ensure detailed reports are shared with senior management. Bonus skills: Experience with our tech stack (WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk, Ahrefs) or similar tools. Experience with paid ads with a non-profit of a similar size or an agency supporting non-profits. What you'll do Own paid media strategy and performance to execute growth and brand goals Develop and execute the paid digital fundraising strategy that acquires new donors, grows revenue, and strengthens long-term supporter value across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging platforms (approx. 50% of time). Run top-of-funnel brand ads, from placement and contracting to creative direction and development, including podcasts, OOH, and connected TV (approx. 30% of time). Manage and optimize paid investment daily, monitoring spend, pacing, cost per acquisition, and conversion, and reallocating budget as performance dictates. Run a continuous test-and-learn program across audiences, creative messaging, channels, landing pages, and donation experiences, and turn results into decisions rather than reports. Make key and strategic recommendations to the Director of Individual Giving and VP of Marketing on where budget spend should be allocated based on performance data. Grow one-time and monthly giving through paid Run acquisition and conversion campaigns for both one-time and monthly giving, testing paid tactics to grow the recurring program—the fastest-growing part of our portfolio. Optimize the digital supporter journey so paid campaigns connect cleanly to landing pages, donation forms, email, and CRM, maximizing conversion and retention. Analyze acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention trends by segment to inform where the next dollar goes. Measurement & Reporting Stand up standardized paid-channel attribution and UTM tracking so acquisition spend is evaluable outside the ad platforms. Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign, website, and CRM data into a single view of what each channel returns. Develop a forecasting model that projects cost per acquisition and revenue by channel, so budget increases are decisions rather than bets. Report to senior management on budget and paid campaign performance on a bi-weekly basis. This role might not be for you if You are used to relying on an agency for recommendations or ad builds in the platforms themselves. You do not have experience/familiarity with both upper-funnel and direct conversion paid advertising. You are not comfortable managing projects from A–Z, including ideation, planning, launching, testing, iterating, and evaluating. What success looks like in 12–18 months A clear, measurable contribution to the 2027 goal of doubling new donor acquisition, with a 50–70% share of new monthly donors acquired through paid. The Google Ad Grant is fully deployed against upper-funnel objectives, in compliance, and contributing measurable qualified traffic. A documented acquisition model forecasts cost per acquisition and revenue by channel accurately enough to justify a materially larger paid budget. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram. Company Operating Rhythm At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren't optional, they're core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance. Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do. Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you're not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you're seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5. The Opportunity Deepgram is looking for a Software Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and exploratory test suites across our products, models, APIs, and data platforms. You enjoy breaking systems, probing edge cases, testing real-world and adversarial inputs, and automating repeatable validation so regressions are caught quickly. You translate product requirements and model metrics into automated regression tests, evaluation pipelines, data-quality gates, load tests, and release criteria. You partner with QA, Research, Product, Data, and Engineering to plan testing, execute human and automated evaluations, support user acceptance testing, and communicate risks clearly. When you find an issue, you provide precise reproduction steps, inputs, parameters, expected and actual results, and supporting data. What gets you excited? Building scalable automation that gives Deepgram confidence that its products, models, and data workflows work reliably for customers. What You'll Do Define and execute well-designed test plans across Deepgram's products, APIs, SDKs, model-powered features, and data platforms, ensuring production software is robust, reliable, and performs well. Design, build, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, API, browser, and service-level testing across batch and streaming workflows. Translate product requirements and customer acceptance criteria into clear test strategies, repeatable test cases, and enforceable release gates. Build and maintain representative, customer-focused, and adversarial test datasets, fixtures, and test environments that exercise real-world inputs, edge cases, failure modes, and system limits. Validate model-powered behavior—including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and other AI features—using appropriate metrics, expected outputs, human review, and regression coverage, while partnering with Research and model-evaluation specialists as needed. Build testing infrastructure, including test harnesses, reusable scripts, test-data tooling, result-aggregation pipelines, dashboards, and visualizations that make quality signals easy to understand and act on. Integrate automated tests, quality checks, canaries, and release validation into CI/CD so regressions are detected continuously rather than through manual testing alone. Test data ingestion, processing, annotation, and quality-control workflows, validating data integrity, completeness, representativeness, deduplication, leakage, and downstream readiness. Execute staging and production validation, load and reliability testing, cross-browser and customer-workflow testing, and user acceptance testing in partnership with internal stakeholders and customer QA teams. Maintain and improve the test-case repository, automation coverage, test documentation, and release-readiness reporting so teams have a clear view of what was tested, what passed, and what remains risky. Write precise, actionable bug reports with reproducible steps, inputs, parameters, expected and actual results, logs or artifacts, and clear severity; participate in triage and escalate issues when necessary. Help raise the bar through code reviews, test-design reviews, technical discussions, and strong engineering, automation, and QA practices. What We're Looking For BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of professional software or QA engineering experience, with a track record of shipping test infrastructure or evaluation systems (senior candidates with significantly deeper experience welcome). Nice to Have / Ways to Stand Out Hands-on experience testing or evaluating modern AI systems such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, agents, or multimodal models, including analyzing model behavior and failure modes. Experience with voice, audio, speech recognition, or real-time systems, and familiarity with metrics such as WER, MOS, latency, and time-to-first-byte. Experience building or improving test, evaluation, benchmarking, or ML infrastructure used by multiple teams or external users. A strong appreciation for test and evaluation quality, including correctness, reproducibility, determinism, and consistency across environments. Experience building test tooling for React Native, mobile applications, or other cross-platform environments that extends validation beyond the desktop. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, ephemeral test environments, CI/CD systems, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, canaries, and anomaly detection. Experience serving as a technical bridge across teams or platforms—including product, QA, evaluation, training, inference, data, or agent frameworks—with the communication skills to build alignment and influence decisions. Prior involvement in open-source projects through contributions, reviews, maintenance, or community engagement. We power personalization for more than 1,400 global brands, including American Eagle, Sonepar, and Pandora. Become a Quality Engineer for Bloomreach! The Data Pipeline team is a backend-focused engineering team that cares deeply about quality and reliability. We believe in autonomy, we trust data, and we own what we ship end-to-end. We move our customers' data in and out of Bloomreach Engagement reliably and at a high rate: Our clients feed their visitors' behavior through real-time tracking to our platform. The data then can be analyzed and used for marketing automation. We process tens of thousands of requests per second . Imports are critical for our clients to utilize our platform to the fullest. We import millions of rows of data and continuously improve the throughput and reliability of our imports and integrations with other data storages. We are also responsible for exporting data from our platform to Google's BigQuery using Google's DataFlows, PySpark and Apache Beam, allowing data access by our clients. We run and support our services in production, handling high-volume traffic using Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes . Every one of these flows is something our customers rely on being correct, at scale. That is the terrain your testing and automation will cover. You won't be doing this alone: you'll join an experienced Senior Quality Engineer already on the team, so you'll have a buddy to ramp up with, bounce ideas off, and share the quality mission with from day one. We work remotely first (from Central & Eastern Europe), but we are more than happy to meet you in our nice offices in Bratislava, Brno or Prague. And if you are interested in who will be your engineering manager, check out Adam's LinkedIn . Intrigued? Read on ... What challenge awaits you? As a Quality Engineer in Data Pipeline, you own quality for systems that move huge volumes of customers' data in real time, at scale, across many integrations. This is a backend, data-heavy world: a tracking API on one side, an internal message format and multiple storages on the other, with Kafka, GCP and Kubernetes in between. Guaranteeing quality here means understanding how data flows end-to-end and where it can go wrong. We need you to bring engineering rigor to that quality. Concretely, you will: Own end-to-end and integration testing. Complex data pipelines can behave correctly component by component yet still surprise you end-to-end. You design the tests that validate real behavior across components, so we can ship changes to high-scale integrations with confidence. Build automation that runs repeatedly in CI. Turn testing into automated integration and end-to-end suites (e.g. Robot Framework, API tests) wired into the deployment pipeline, giving engineers fast, reliable feedback on every change. Go deep in the imports domain. Imports are a rich, well-defined area with plenty to reason about. You'll build deep context so you can proactively tell the team what to test, how, and why , and where the edge cases hide. Shift left. Be part of grooming and design from day one, thinking about test cases and failure modes while features are being shaped rather than after the fact. Strengthen the pipeline core too. Beyond imports, help raise quality across the Data Pipeline core as you grow context. Partner with the developers. Quality is a shared responsibility: developers own their in-source tests and you add the outside-in automation layer and perspective. You make the whole team better at testing, not the place work gets handed off to. Your responsibilities Design and own black-box, API-level and integration/end-to-end test automation for Data Pipeline services, primarily in the imports domain. Build and maintain automated test suites in CI/CD (GitLab) that gate deployments and catch regressions across components. Read Go/Python pipeline code well enough to find holes and design meaningful test cases - you don't need to ship features, you need to understand the system. Drive test strategy in grooming and design reviews - test types on the ticket, acceptance criteria, edge cases, failure modes. Pair with our current Data Pipeline QA to spread automation and code-adjacent testing practices across the team. Use telemetry and reproduction to turn production incidents into durable, automated regression tests. Our tech stack Languages: Python (primary), Go (enough to read pipeline code) Test automation: Robot Framework (API/integration and Browser-based E2E), CI-driven suites in GitLab, with ReportPortal / Allure reporting Platform you'll test against: Apache Kafka, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, BigQuery, MongoDB, Redis CI/CD & tooling: GitLab, Jira, Confluence AI coding agents: Cursor, Claude Code, ... ... and much more Your qualifications Must have You write test automation in code - integration and API tests in CI, in Python / Go or a similar language. You can read backend/pipeline code (Go or Python) well enough to find gaps and reason about where a change can break something else. Useful QA sees the cross-component failure the feature author might missed. You are comfortable owning black-box, API and integration/end-to-end automation - the outside-in layer. (In-source unit and in-repo integration tests remain with the feature developers.) You want to work primarily in code and automation . If you are coming from a mostly manual testing background, that is fine - as long as you are excited to make automation your main craft, because that is where this role lives. You are comfortable in grooming and design from day one - a shift-left mindset, defining test types and cases on the ticket before code is written. You can learn and adapt - essential when navigating a large codebase and a data domain that mixes tracking, imports, and multiple storages. You know how to be effective in a remote-first environment. Fluent use of AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Gemini CLI, or similar) as part of your daily workflow. Strongly preferred Prior backend exposure (an internship or role where you wrote code, or worked under a senior who set up proper testing/automation workflows) - it makes the pipeline world far less of a black box. Experience with ETL / data-pipeline testing: connectors, ingest at scale, data cleanup and transformations, and validating data landing correctly in target storages. Experience testing systems built on Kafka, GCP, or BigQuery. Familiarity with test frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright or API testing tooling (Postman and beyond). Personal qualities Ownership - you take quality from detection through to a durable, automated fix that prevents the next regression. Systematic thinking - you find root causes, not symptoms, and you document what you learn so the team levels up. Collaboration - you make developers better at testing rather than becoming the place work gets "thrown over the wall". Curiosity - you enjoy peeling back a data pipeline until you understand what can go wrong and why. Your success story In 30 days Get to know the Data Pipeline team, the company, and the most important processes. Set up your local and cloud development environment and complete the Engagement engineering onboarding. Understand how our pipelines work end-to-end - tracking, imports, exports - and how we approach testing and automation, with a focus on the imports domain. In 90 days Deliver your first meaningful quality improvement: an automated integration or end-to-end suite for a real imports flow, wired into CI so it gates deployments. Be active in grooming and design reviews, defining test cases and surfacing edge cases and cross-component risks before implementation. Pair with our current QA to share automation practices and broaden the team's quality coverage. In 180 days Own the quality posture of the imports domain end-to-end - the team relies on your suites and your judgment on what "tested" means. Drive measurable improvements: more of the pipeline covered by repeatable automated tests, faster feedback in CI, and higher release confidence across the team. Extend your coverage and influence into the Data Pipeline core. Find out that our values are truly lived by us . We are dreamers and builders . Join us! #LI-KP1 The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above. Base Salary Range €26.000—€39.000 EUR More things you'll like about Bloomreach: Culture: A great deal of freedom and trust.
