Health can't wait . Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that's exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can't. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it's coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It's not solely a question of willpower. It's the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture . We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. ⭐️ Why we are hiring ⭐️ We're opening an Enterprise Sales Team Lead role in France to lead a growing team of 4 Senior Account Executives, who are in charge of acquiring customers with more than 3,000 employees, including all CAC40 companies. In this role, you will own acquisition on the Enterprise segment in France and run the business end‑to‑end : you will be hands-on on the field while coaching and scaling a team of Account Executives to win this market. This position sits at the heart of our growth ambition: We have just passed the one million member milestone – and this is only the beginning! We're accelerating acquisition in France and doubling down on our portfolio — and the Enterprise segment is one of the core pillars of that plan . About the Enterprise segment Perimeter: companies of 3000+ employees Verticals: all Verticals (Tech, Retail, Industrial Companies etc) Total Addressable Market: ~ 7M members in France Why Enterprise Sales is exciting at Alan Diverse workforce : Mix of 60% cadres / 40% non-cadres, often with subsidiaries or multi-site operations, ranging from highly tech-savvy employees to those requiring digital adoption support. Critical challenges : Multi-stakeholder decision processes involving HRD, CFO, CEO, Payroll, CSE, Legal, Purchasing, Comp & Ben, Accounting, Brokers, Unions, long sales cycles (multi-year conversations), RFP processes requiring deep audits and product customization, and strong influence from unions/CSE who can co-manage health insurance topics; Company profiles : Flagship companies (widely known brands), groups with standalone entities or subsidiaries, often with focus on employee wellbeing (QVT programs, Great Place to Work), modern company culture, and strategic communication about digitization or employer brand attractiveness; HR priorities : Increasing productivity, obtaining fair and competitive pricing, contributing to employee well-being through customized health plans, simplifying HR processes with digital platforms, and managing change management concerns when implementing new health insurance (biggest fear for large companies) Critical business characteristics : This segment requires breadth & depth of expertise to navigate complex organizations, account-based strategies with Key Account Management approach, early engagement in company roadmaps, face-to-face meetings, co-creation of insurance and digital products (tailored offers considering past results, specific regimes, demographics, payroll system integration), and ability to work through RFPs and with brokers. Sales cycles are volatile with high stakes: 1 deal = 50% of annual target for Enterprise Account Executives. Our approach for Enterprise companies positions Alan as a strategic partner in health rather than just an insurance provider, emphasizing our digital platform for fluid UX, customized health plans at fair pricing, and health/well-being services. Success requires leveraging high-level connections, building professional materials, and potentially creating exclusive "Health Clubs" or labels for early adopters. ⭐ What you will do ⭐ You will be the Sales leader of the Enterprise Sales team in France, responsible for both hitting the numbers and scaling the machine . More precisely, you will: Own the Enterprise acquisition plan in France. Design and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for 3000 employee customers, from targeting to closing, to reach ambitious acquisition targets and scale the segment . Lead & coach a team of 4 Account Executives (and likely more to come) Drive hiring, onboarding, and career development as we scale the crew and the segment. Help each team member reach their targets with clear expectations , rigorous follow‑up , and ongoing coaching on methodology, deal execution, and pipeline management. Be on the field with the team : prospecting, joining key meetings, supporting tough negotiations, and owning strategic opportunities to maximize win rates. Empower every member of the team: Create the conditions for everyone to reach and exceed their goals : strong feedback culture, coaching, clear ownership, and autonomy. Ensure market fit and remove blockers: Surface customer expectations, patterns, and blockers, and ensure they're addressed through the right strategic and execution plans (product, pricing, ops, marketing, etc.). For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the F-G level range . ⭐ Is it what you are looking for? ⭐ You may be a great fit at Alan if you: Have at least 10 years experience in B2B sales , with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets as an Account Executive and Sales Leader Have experience leading and coaching sales teams , with the ability to set a high bar , give clear direction , and help people grow Have full working proficiency in French , and advanced level in English for internal communication Have a very hands‑on mentality : you love being on the field with your team, joining customer meetings, helping on tough negotiations, and sharing what works Have experience selling to Enterprise level companies (3000+ employees and above) in multi‑stakeholder deals Are comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments , and can prioritize ruthlessly Are data‑driven and analytical : you know how to leverage KPIs to drive performance, run analyses, and make decisions Have strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and appetite for building things with others (sales ops, marketing, etc.) Are based (or willing to relocate to) the Paris area Nice-to-have: Experience selling to HR or Finance . 🙌 Perks & Benefits At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need , and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers. Therefore, we offer: Fair rewards . Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only. Flexible Office . Amazing office space at our Paris HQ All the tools you need . Top of the range equipment: Macbook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones. Flexible vacation policy and flexible working hours . Organize your time as you wish. Delightful healthcare insurance . Extremely comprehensive health insurance - 100% of the contribution covered by Alan for you and your family, for permanent contracts only. Transport . Country-specific commuter benefits. Learning & Training opportunities . A highly flexible Training policy free books and budget to attend and speak at conferences if the opportunity arises. Parental leave . Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only. Important note: we hire people not roles. After reading this job description, if you feel like you don't have all the necessary prerequisites but that it matches where you are now or what you'd like to grow into in your next position, we encourage you to apply ! Not everybody will enter our recruitment process, but all, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success. 🔖 Check out our About Alan and Career pages, as well as our Medium , blog and Glassdoor page for more info. About Airwallex Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own. We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,300 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full. About Airwallex Airwallex is a global payments and financial infrastructure platform that helps businesses move money globally. Our products span payments, accounts, treasury, cards, spend management and more, giving businesses a simpler way to manage their financial operations across borders. We're building the future of global finance, and our People & Talent team plays an important role in helping Airwallex scale responsibly. We're looking for thoughtful, hands-on operators who care deeply about employee experience and enjoy turning complex people processes into simple, effective solutions. You'll combine hands-on operational ownership with process improvement, partnering closely with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Total Rewards, Workplace Experience, Legal and business leaders. You'll also contribute to the evolution of our regional operating model, identifying opportunities to improve, automate and scale the way we work. This is a role for someone who is comfortable operating at both the detail level and the regional level: ensuring every onboarding, payroll input and employee query is handled well while also building better systems for the future. Responsibilities Lead and develop the regional People Operations function; own end-to-end employee lifecycle operations (onboarding/orientation, background checks, HRIS data integrity, payroll inputs/changes, benefits and leaves, offboarding) for an EMEA footprint with ~400 employees, with a strong focus on delivery quality and compliance. Drive operational excellence by codifying and maintaining regional SOPs, managing the P&T JIRA helpdesk queue, and setting clear workflows and standards that are consistent with global guidance. Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, IT, and Compliance on accurate and timely transactions, audits, vendor coordination, invoicing/POs, and change control. Run regular data audits and quality checks, identify discrepancies and improve data integrity, reporting and governance. Support the administration and rollout of benefits across relevant EMEA markets, working with internal stakeholders and external providers. Provide operational support for employment changes, leave, probation, right-to-work processes, visas and other country-specific employee matters. Work closely with People Partners and Legal to ensure processes are delivered consistently and in line with relevant local requirements. Identify inefficiencies in manual workflows and drive process improvements, automation and appropriate use of AI. Support regional and global People projects, including implementation of new systems, policies and employee programs. Manage, prioritise and allocate work across People Operations support resources where applicable. Lead and drive a team-based, collaborative environment. What we're looking for Minimum qualifications 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations or a closely related HR generalist role, ideally in a fast-growing software, internet or fintech company. Experience supporting employees across multiple EMEA countries (Netherlands, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, etc.) and working with local employment requirements. Familiarity with payroll processes, including variable compensation such as commissions, bonuses or allowances. A hands-on, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage high-volume operational work without losing sight of quality. Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to prioritise competing requests in a fast-moving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with employees, managers, senior stakeholders and external providers. A track record of improving processes, documenting ways of working and reducing manual effort. Experience using AI to drive improvements is highly preferred. High standards of confidentiality, discretion and data accuracy. The ability to operate independently, solve problems pragmatically and make progress despite ambiguity. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with BambooHR, Deel, Jira, Confluence, Lattice, Slack and Google Workspace. Experience supporting EOR populations or employees across multiple legal entities. Experience with HR systems implementation, workflow automation, reporting or AI-enabled process improvement. Experience partnering with Workplace Experience or supporting office-based employee programs. Professional HR qualification or equivalent practical experience. You'll thrive here if You enjoy working across countries, cultures and time zones and can adapt your approach to different local contexts. You're comfortable moving between detailed execution and broader process improvement. You default to action, learn quickly and course-correct when priorities change. You communicate clearly, flag issues early and take ownership through to resolution. You care about making complex processes easier for employees and managers. About Nebius: Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI. Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D. The role The Senior Payroll Specialist owns end-to-end Dutch payroll, operated in Nmbrs, and acts as the designated backup for the company's other international payrolls. This role harmonizes, simplifies, and continuously improves payroll execution and payroll accounting across the company's Dutch entities, pay groups, providers, and systems. This is to make sure payroll remains accurate, compliant, trusted, and understandable as the company grows without a proportional increase in manual work or risk. As international backup, the role maintains working proficiency in the company's other country payrolls and provides continuity during peak periods, absences, and year-end. Your responsibilities will include: Own end-to-end Dutch payroll execution in Nmbrs across entities and pay groups: monthly and off-cycle runs, holiday allowance, year-end close and annual statements (jaaropgaven), and the payroll calendar; define consistent execution standards that meet Dutch statutory and contractual requirements. Ensure Dutch payroll tax and social security compliance: wage tax and national insurance contributions (loonheffingen), employee insurance and Zvw premiums, the work-related costs scheme (WKR), timely and accurate loonaangifte to the Belastingdienst, corrections, and resolution of Belastingdienst and UWV correspondence. Administer regulated and complex pay items accurately: the 30% ruling and other expatriate and cross-border arrangements, equity income (RSU/option) taxation, pension contributions and provider files, sick leave and statutory leave schemes, transition payments and termination settlements, wage garnishments (loonbeslag), and taxable benefits-in-kind. Run and reconcile shadow payrolls in Nmbrs for internationally mobile employees (inbound assignees, cross-border and remote workers, and outbound Dutch employees with a host-country shadow payroll) Serve as the designated backup for the company's other international payrolls: maintain working knowledge of country calendars, providers, and controls, and run or support pay cycles during absences, peak periods, and year-end in coordination with the payroll owners. Lead root-cause analysis for recurring payroll, accounting, or service failures; design and implement durable fixes. Drive process harmonization and simplification to reduce manual steps, handoffs, rework, and off-cycle runs; make full use of Nmbrs functionality, integrations, and reporting. Lead payroll execution during transitions (new entity launches, provider or system changes, restructures/M&A), ensuring continuity and control. Ensure payroll accounting remains clean as scope changes: consistent journals, accruals, reversals, and reconciliation standards. Monitor preventative controls by design, including SOX-aligned payroll controls; improve evidence pack quality and audit readiness. Act as escalation owner for complex or sensitive pay issues; provide authoritative explanations to employees and senior stakeholders. Partner with HR Ops, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Nmbrs, and international payroll providers to deliver scalable operating models and service quality. We expect you to have: At least 7+ years of Dutch payroll experience, including multi-entity scope in complex environments (growth, change, or hybrid in-house/outsourced models). Hands-on Nmbrs experience: running payroll end to end, configuring wage components and journal mappings, managing loonaangifte and corrections, and using its reporting and integrations (HRIS, GL, pension and benefits providers). Deep working knowledge of Dutch payroll compliance: loonheffingen and social security, WKR, the 30% ruling, expatriate taxation and shadow payroll, pension administration, sick leave and statutory leave, termination settlements, and year-end reporting. Working knowledge of international payroll (running or overseeing outsourced country payrolls) and readiness to act as the designated backup for the company's other payrolls. Strong payroll controllership skills: ability to design controls, enforce SoD/approvals, and ensure audit-ready evidence. Proven capability improving payroll processes (standardization, automation enablement, reducing manual effort and errors) and leading transitions (vendor/system/new entity) with structured planning and issue resolution. Strong payroll accounting knowledge and experience working with Finance during close and audits. Excellent stakeholder management; comfortable acting as an escalation owner and payroll authority. Fluent English and professional working proficiency in Dutch (statutory correspondence, legislation, and provider documentation are in Dutch). It will be an added bonus if you have: Dutch payroll qualification (PDL and/or VPS) and/or Nmbrs certification. Experience with international payroll providers or aggregators and multi-country operating models (SLAs, KPIs, remediation). Experience operating payroll controls in a SOX-compliant, US-listed company environment. Experience with equity compensation payroll (RSUs/options), including cross-border cases and trailing tax liabilities. Experience supporting Global Mobility programs: shadow payroll set-up, tax equalization/protection and hypothetical tax, gross-ups, and year-end assignee reconciliations with tax advisors. Experience turning statutory/operational requirements into system/workflow requirements (e.g., Nmbrs–HRIS–GL integrations). Project management certification or comparable experience leading cross-functional initiatives. Competencies & Behavioral Traits: Systems thinking: redesigns the process so it scales, rather than adding checks and manual work. Bias for prevention: anticipates issues and builds guardrails. Influence without authority; can align multiple stakeholders around standards. Comfort with ambiguity and change; makes decisions with incomplete information. Reliability and ownership: a dependable backup who keeps continuity across payrolls when it matters most. Strong coaching mindset; elevates capability across the payroll team. Benefits & Perks: Competitive compensation Career growth and learning opportunities Flexibility and ownership Collaborative and innovative culture Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects International environment and talented teams What's it like to work at Nebius: Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI Equal Opportunity Statement: Nebius is an equal opportunity employer.
