Want to see us in action? Follow us on Instagram @zopalife The team Our Brand Design and Creative team brings Zopa's story to life across campaigns, performance marketing and owned channels. As our products and marketing grow, we're looking for a Senior Motion Designer to help shape how the brand moves and make its value clear to customers. Reporting to the Head of Brand Design and Creative, you'll work closely with our Senior Brand Designer and Senior Social Designer, alongside marketers, writers and specialist partners. You'll own and evolve our existing motion language and build the tools that help the wider team use it well. This is a hands-on role across brand, campaign and marketing motion, with opportunities to collaborate with our product motion team where the experiences connect. A day in the life Own and evolve Zopa's motion principles across typography, illustration, products and graphic devices. Bring campaign ideas and storyboards to life, contributing motion thinking from the earliest concepts. Create short-form motion for paid social and video, adapting hooks, messages and formats for testing. Partner with Performance Marketing to turn live learnings into the next round of creative. Build useful templates, components and asset libraries that help colleagues and partners deliver consistently. Make complex products and customer benefits easy to understand through clear, engaging stories. Produce motion for web, CRM, social and launch communications, with care for accessibility and delivery requirements. Brief and review specialist production partners while maintaining Zopa's motion standards. Explore AI-assisted workflows for ideas, iteration and production, applying your judgement to every output. About you Your portfolio shows deep motion expertise across brand, campaign and performance work for digital channels. After Effects is a core strength, with working experience of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and video-editing workflows. From idea to final delivery, you can explain your contribution, make supporting design changes and lead the animation. Paid-social experience includes short-form video, testing, variants and platform adaptation. Reusable systems are part of your practice: you have built templates or libraries that other people can use. Craft matters to you, from rhythm and timing to typography, sound, accessibility and finish. Creative choices come with clear reasoning, and you can brief partners and bring stakeholders with you. You bring ideas early, work constructively with others and take responsibility for moving work forward. AI tools interest you, and you can explain where they add value and where human craft should lead. Added bonus Fintech, financial services or another complex product category is familiar territory. Experience with 3D, real-time or generative tools would broaden the team's toolkit. Hands-on AI production experience includes clear quality checks before work goes live. Time in an in-house studio alongside specialist agencies would be useful. At Zopa we value flexible ways of working. We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year! But no matter where you are, we'll make sure you've got everything you need to thrive, both in your work and home life, from day one. Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice Diversity Statement Zopa is proud to offer a workplace free from discrimination. Diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to better products for our customers and a unique company culture for our people. We are made up of nearly 50 nationalities, have a DE&I forum made up of Zopians wanting to make a difference and we are proud of our culture where everyone can bring their full self to work. Our approach to DE&I is reflected in our hiring process so please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments. Our approach to AI in interviews At Zopa, AI isn't something we're testing out — it's part of how we work every day. As a proud partner of Jobs 2030 , we're committed to building AI fluency across our workforce, and we expect Zopians to use AI as part of how they do their jobs. Because of that, we want to be transparent about how we think about AI use during our hiring process. Behavioural and competency-based interviews : please don't use AI . These conversations are designed to understand you — your experiences, your judgment, and how you've approached real situations. An AI-generated answer can't tell us that. What it can do is get in the way of us finding out whether we're the right fit for each other. Technical interviews: it depends on the role. Some technical stages actively welcome AI use, others don't. Your Talent Partner will let you know what's expected at each stage. Where AI is part of the assessment, we'll be interested not just in the outcome, but in how you used it – the tools you chose, your reasoning, and the decisions you made along the way. We launched the product in 2020 and achieved double unicorn status, valued at $2 billion, and since then have taken on more than 6 million customers. Our mission is to become the best way to pay for anything, anywhere and say goodbye to credit costs for everyone. This is huge. Want to join us? About the role. We're looking for a UX copywriter to join our copy team and help bring the Zilch brand to life across every digital customer touchpoint. Working closely with product designers, product managers and engineers, you'll contribute to creating customer journeys from discovery through to launch. You'll also collaborate with teams across the business, including Marketing, Customer Support and Operations, providing specialist copy support wherever it's needed – from SEO content and help articles to customer communications and product launches. This isn't just about writing functional copy. It's about creating experiences customers understand, trust and enjoy. You'll know when to keep things simple, when to inject personality and how to bring the Zilch tone of voice to life in even the smallest moments. We're looking for a creative and tactical thinker who understands that great UX copy does more than guide users from A to B. It solves problems, removes friction and creates experiences that feel simple, human and unmistakably Zilch. Day to day responsibilities. Partner with Product Design to create clear, engaging copy across the app and website, from new features to end-to-end customer journeys. You're a brilliant writer with experience creating content for digital products. Whether you've called yourself a UX Writer, Content Designer or Copywriter, you know how to use words to solve problems. You can switch effectively between product thinking and brand thinking. One minute you're refining onboarding copy, the next you're shaping a product launch or crafting a headline that makes someone smile. You know that the best digital experiences don't happen by accident. You're curious, ask the right questions and enjoy getting to the root of a problem before putting pen to paper. You care about craft. Every word has a purpose, every interaction has intent and you're never afraid to rewrite something until it feels just right. You understand our tone of voice and apply it consistently across customer communications, recognising how a brand comes to life through product. You know how to create experiences that feel consistent, human and unmistakably Zilch. You're a natural collaborator who enjoys bouncing ideas around with designers, product managers, marketers and developers. You know the best work happens when different disciplines come together.
