Our mission We're making Africa the first cashless continent. In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash. We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in... How you'll help us achieve it We're looking for an experienced security engineer who's independent, excited about getting things done, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll primarily be responsible for our application security, working with our product teams to work on new systems to enhance our security posture. Our customers trust us with their money, and you'll be at the forefront of making sure we retain that trust! This broadly scoped role will allow you to get your hands on many different types of security projects, from direct application security to helping our infrastructure team think about security for our databases. As we integrate AI-powered agents into our engineering and operations workflows, you'll help define and enforce the guardrails around how we use them safely. This includes securing agentic tooling against prompt injection, excessive permissions, and data exfiltration — and building the policies and technical controls to govern AI usage across the company. Some experience with common industry certifications like ISO-27001 and PCI-DSS would be beneficial, although you won't be expected to run or oversee audits. Our to-do list changes constantly, but here are some recent projects: Design our agentic SIEM/SecOps pipelines to evaluate and tune AI-driven triage, alerting, and response automation Secure our MCP integrations against prompt injection, tool misuse, and credential exposure Tune and maintain code security review agents tailored to Wave's codebase, threat model, and regulatory environment Develop internal AI governance standards covering acceptable use, data handling, and audit requirements for LLM-powered tools Centralise application-level login and permissions enforcement including privileged access management Rework our approach to secrets management with ephemeral secrets and tighter access scopes Security review of our public-facing APIs Key details You can work remotely from anywhere (between UTC -5 and +4) with reliable internet access. Wave covers travel once per year to one of our operating countries in Africa, as well as a yearly stipend of $1200 to meet with coworkers. Our salaries are competitive and are calculated using a transparent formula. For this role, depending on your level of experience, we offer a salary of up to $185,800 USD (or local equivalent), plus a generous equity. We run performance reviews twice a year and award bonuses or promotions to strong performers who have been with the company for more than six months Major benefits: Subsidized health insurance for you and your dependents and retirement contributions (both vary from country-to-country). 6 months fully paid parental leave and subsidized fertility assistance. Flexible vacation, with most folks taking between 30-40 days per year. $10,000 annual charitable donation matching. Yearly travel to one of our African operating countries. Set a new pulse for healthcare! We are looking for a Senior Inference Engineer to join the ML Platform (TIGER) team in AI & Machine Learning . Your mission will be to power Doctolib's AI-driven healthcare products — from Consultation Assistant to Phone Assistant and Health Companion — by owning the self-hosted LLM serving platform that keeps the most sensitive patient data within infrastructure Doctolib controls. You will build and operate the shared foundations that every AI feature team relies on: deploying, tuning, and scaling open-weight models across our GPU fleet, contributing directly to faster, safer, and more cost-efficient AI for care teams and patients across Europe. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. What you'll do Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Build the shared LLM serving foundations with MLOps engineers — define the serving stack, GPU capacity planning, and deployment automation for open-weight models (Gemma, Mistral, Llama, Qwen, and their fine-tuned variants) on Ray Serve / Anyscale, while shaping the evolution toward Kubernetes-based orchestration Own the model registry and promotion path — establish clear processes for versioning, validating, and promoting models into production, benchmark performance and output quality under realistic workloads, and maintain the curated model catalog together with the Agents Platform team Optimize inference performance and efficiency — operate and tune serving engines (vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT-LLM) to reduce time-to-first-token, inter-token latency, and cost per token through batching, caching, quantization, and parallelism strategies across our GPU fleet (L4 to H200) Own production reliability and disaster recovery — define SLOs, run load tests before launches, implement safe rollouts, rollbacks, and autoscaling, and participate in on-call and incident response Make serving performance and costs measurable — build Datadog dashboards, alerting, and cost reporting to track latency, GPU utilization, and inference spend, and identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency Keep the inference stack secure, compliant, and evolving — work with Security and Privacy on network isolation, data residency, and auditability, while continuously assessing new models, serving engines (such as SGLang), and GPU generations Who you are Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply. You'll be a great fit if you: Have 5+ years of software or computer engineering experience, including hands-on production experience with at least one LLM serving engine (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TGI, or Triton) — ideally having chosen, introduced, tuned, or scaled one in production, not just run it with defaults Are proficient in Python and Terraform, with a solid understanding of transformer inference mechanics: prefill vs. decode, KV cache, batching strategies, and why a model is compute- or memory-bound on a given GPU Have strong experience running GPU workloads on Kubernetes or a managed Ray / Anyscale platform, and a performance engineering mindset — you design reproducible benchmarks, read profiler output, and back decisions with numbers Are comfortable owning production reliability: observability, incident response, and on-call are a natural part of the role Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, high agency, a pragmatic build-vs-buy approach, and are comfortable working in a scope that is still taking shape Are fluent in English It would be fantastic if you: Have experience with distributed serving frameworks (KServe, llm-d, NVIDIA Dynamo), including disaggregated prefill/decode or KV-cache-aware routing, or with serving Mixture-of-Experts, multimodal models, or many LoRA adapters on shared base models Have GPU kernel experience or deep profiling skills (CUDA, Triton, Nsight), or have contributed to open-source inference projects Have experience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, public sector) and with frameworks such as GDPR, HDS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 Our stack Programming languages: Python, plus comfort reading/debugging a systems language (C++, Rust, or Go) Cloud providers: GCP / AWS / Azure Serving orchestration: Ray Serve / Anyscale (GCP), with Kubernetes (GKE) + GPU scheduling as an emerging parallel target LLM serving engines (in production): vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT-LLM (also evaluating SGLang and other emerging engines) Models: Self-hosted open-weight LLMs (Gemma, Mistral, Llama, Qwen), fine-tuned in-house Experiment tracking & model registry: MLflow GenAI gateway: LiteLLM LLM evaluation & observability: Braintrust GPUs: NVIDIA L4, A10G, L40S, RTX 6000 Pro, A100 (40GB/80GB), H200 Container / Infra as code: Docker, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize Observability: Datadog Data warehouse / storage: GCP BigQuery / GCS / AWS S3 And any other tool you deem relevant! You will work on the foundational layer that powers Consultation Assistant, Phone Assistant, Health Companion, and more: a shared agent runtime, a unified GenAI gateway, and the observability and evaluation infrastructure that makes it all trustworthy — contributing directly to safer, faster, and more reliable AI for patients and care teams across Europe. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. What you'll do Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Own the agent manifest and registry — design the single declarative specification (skills, tools, memory, model, guardrails, sandbox, security) that wires any new agent into the full platform automatically, triggerable from product surfaces, other agents (A2A), schedules, or workflows Own the GenAI gateway end to end (built on LiteLLM) — manage routing (including KV-cache-aware routing), failover, metering, cost attribution, reserved-capacity pooling, and guardrails across self-hosted (vLLM) and managed providers, serving several hundred million requests per month Operate the infrastructure for long-running, streaming agent interactions — build production-grade reliability for SSE/WebSocket connections, queueing and retries, human-in-the-loop approvals, and snapshot/resume, in a sandboxed execution environment consistent with our existing application runtime Build feature-flagged, progressive rollout for prompts, models, and configs — including an emergency kill-switch and the audit trail that lets agents act safely on sensitive healthcare data Own reliability for the agents platform end to end — define SLOs, lead on-call and incident response, and build runbooks including provider failover for the GenAI gateway Build the observability and evaluation layer — online traces and logs, offline evals (LLM-as-judge plus patient and practitioner simulators) gating CI, and the compliance-grade audit trail for health data Validate the platform by shipping one or two reference agents yourself before product teams adopt it, and advise feature teams on agent architecture trade-offs Who you are Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply. You'll be a great fit if you: Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on production experience building or operating LLM-based agent systems (Google ADK or similar), with a solid understanding of agent design patterns: planning/reflection loops, tool calling, state and memory management, multi-agent coordination, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints Have experience with agent interoperability and tool protocols (MCP, A2A, AG-UI), control-plane concepts for asynchronous or long-running systems (queueing, retries, checkpointing), and feature-flagging or progressive-rollout systems including reliable kill-switches Have experience managing cost and capacity for LLM usage — routing, caching, and reserved-capacity planning with managed model providers Are comfortable owning production reliability (SLOs, incident response, on-call) and are security-minded when designing sandboxing, permission scoping, and audit trails for autonomous systems acting on sensitive data Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, high agency, a pragmatic build-vs-buy mindset, and are comfortable working in a founding role where shaping the right scope is part of the job Are fluent in English It would be fantastic if you: Have experience giving agents richer identity, memory, and knowledge (long-term memory, artifact stores, or RAG pipelines), ideally in partnership with a data platform team, or experience building a feedback loop that turns production traces into evaluation datasets Have experience building Kubernetes-native abstractions (CRDs/operators) to manage an agent's lifecycle declaratively, and/or with durable stateful execution engines (e.g. Temporal) for long-running workflows Have experience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, public sector) and with frameworks such as GDPR, HDS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 Our stack Programming languages: Python, plus comfort with TypeScript/Go for agent SDKs and tool integrations Cloud providers: GCP / AWS / Azure Agent orchestration & runtime: Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK), running as services on our application platform Agent protocols: MCP, A2A, and AG-UI Feature flags / progressive rollout: Flagd (or similar), including the emergency kill-switch GenAI gateway: LiteLLM (owned end-to-end by this team) — routing, failover, metering, cost attribution, guardrails, reserved-capacity pooling (Azure OpenAI PTUs, Vertex AI GSUs, AWS Bedrock Provisioned Throughput) Experiment tracking & model registry: MLflow LLM evaluation & observability: Braintrust and Datadog LLM Observability, plus distributed tracing for tool calls and agent decision paths Container / Orchestration: Kubernetes (GKE / EKS), Docker, Helm, Kustomize Infrastructure as code: Terraform Observability: Datadog And any other tool you deem relevant! About RA Resident Advisor has been a home for electronic music culture since 2001. Event discovery, ticketing, news and long-form editorial, artist profiles, original films, and a weekly mix series two decades deep. Around 7 million people use the web platform every month, with a wider audience across our apps and other channels. Underneath the platform sits a network of contributors and city managers across dozens of cities, which is how we stay connected to the scenes we cover rather than reporting on them from a distance. RA is 25 years old, independent, B.Corp certified and intent on being indispensable to the artists, promoters and audiences who make this culture. Purpose of the role As our Senior QA Engineer, you'll look after the quality of ra.co , our iOS and Android apps, and RA Scan, the app promoters use to scan tickets at the door. You'll work across five product teams. Each team writes and runs its own tests. You'll help them do it well, keep the automated test suites healthy, and test the riskiest releases yourself. Some of what we ship carries real risk: payments, checkout, and getting people into venues on the night. Other changes are a line of copy. You'll help us tell the two apart and test each one accordingly. We use AI tools across development, and you'll help the teams use them to write better tests, faster. Key responsibilities Keep the web end-to-end test suite healthy: fix flaky tests, add coverage for new features, and make sure a failing suite gets fixed quickly Grow automated testing for our iOS and Android apps and RA Scan with the app developers, so mobile tests run on every change Test high-risk releases yourself, such as payments and checkout, including edge cases and what happens when things fail Review the test plans teams write, and help them improve Use AI tools to write and maintain tests, help developers do the same, and check what the tools produce Brief our external testing partner and review the results they send back Report bugs clearly, and follow them through with developers and product managers Track a few simple measures, such as bugs that reach production and how reliable the automated tests are We're looking for Several years in QA or test engineering, typically four or more, testing web and mobile products Hands-on test automation: you've built and maintained automated tests that run in CI, for web (for example Playwright, Cypress or Selenium) and ideally mobile. We use XCUITest on iOS and Espresso with Kotlin on Android Enough coding to write and fix tests alongside developers, in a language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin or Swift You can test APIs and check data with SQL Good judgement about risk: what to test deeply, what lightly, and what not at all You've used AI tools in your testing work, and know where they help and where they don't Clear writing: bug reports and test plans other people can act on If you meet most of these but not all, we'd still like to hear from you. Nobody arrives with all of it, and we'll help you grow into the rest. Nice to have CircleCI or a similar CI tool Working with an external testing partner Payments, checkout or ticketing systems Testing apps used at live events, with poor networks Test management tools such as Qase or TestRail What we offer you Generous annual leave policies aimed at promoting work-life balance. Matched pension, or 401k for US staff. Comprehensive staff wellbeing initiatives, featuring regular activities and workplace programmes to support mental and physical health. This includes discounted ClassPass memberships and custom-fitted earplugs. Company-led social events, team lunches, and discounts on merch. Paid annual volunteering allowance, encouraging contributions to community projects and charities you care about. A transparent internal company culture committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (see: https://ra.co/about/diversity ). Active involvement in community projects within the electronic music community (see: https://ra.co/about/community ). More about RA We are independent and we intend to stay that way. 25 years in, RA answers to the culture it came from rather than to outside stakeholders. That is what enables us to make decisions on a long-term basis. Our staff, contributors and international teams are not observers. They are part of the scenes we cover, and that is what we hire for. Craft first, and then a genuine stake in this music rather than just a job in it. RA has been B Corp certified since 2024, which holds us to standards on social and environmental impact we would want to meet regardless of the badge. We especially welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, abilities, ethnicities, experiences, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Our values Electronic music is art. We celebrate the progressive values that underpin electronic music. We advocate for a more inclusive and equitable electronic music community. We honour the past, present and future of electronic music. We use innovation to empower the community. We choose honesty over gain and purpose over profit. We're always front left. Listing details This role is a full-time, permanent position, based in Berlin. Please note: this position requires applicants to be based in Berlin and to work from the office three days per week. The annual salary range for this role is €60,000 to €72,000. If you have questions about the role, please contact Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
