About Refractal Refractal is an AI security company building the infrastructure organisations need to defend against autonomous AI threats. 2026 has shown that generally capable intelligence is here. The challenge now is modernising security to stop AI-enabled threats, whether they come from internal agents going rogue or from attackers using AI to become more dangerous. Refractal was founded on cybersecurity and AI expertise from MIT, Microsoft, NASA and the U.S. Navy. Our product lets organisations detect AI-enabled threats at low cost without sacrificing detection quality. We take a practical approach to AI risk, combining proven cybersecurity methods with frontier AI security research. Today, we work with governments and organisations that can't afford to get security wrong. We're backed by leading deep-tech and cybersecurity investors and are growing the team to deliver on this mission. The role You'll connect Refractal to the security systems our customers already use, building the integrations and data pipelines that make their security data usable. You'll work closely with our security engineers and with customers to understand their environments and turn their requirements into reliable software. What you'll do Build and maintain integrations with security and observability tools, including platforms such as Splunk. Develop pipelines to ingest, validate and transform security data, accounting for inconsistent formats, incomplete records and changing source systems. Design clear interfaces between integrations and the wider product, working with platform engineers to keep responsibilities well defined. Make integrations reliable in production through testing, monitoring, useful error messages and safe handling of credentials and sensitive data. Investigate customer integration issues and turn recurring problems into product improvements, documentation and reusable implementation patterns. Success in your first six months You've shipped and supported priority integrations that customers can use with clear setup guidance. The data flows you own handle common failures predictably and make problems straightforward to diagnose. You've established reusable patterns that make the next integration easier to build and maintain. About you: essential Experience building and maintaining software, with a clear approach to testing, debugging and code review. Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including ingestion, transformation, data quality and pipeline reliability. Experience working with APIs and external systems, including authentication, pagination, rate limits and error handling. Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and turn incomplete requirements into a practical implementation. Clear communication and a willingness to own work through deployment and ongoing support. Nice to have Experience integrating with Splunk or other SIEM and observability platforms. Familiarity with security telemetry, event schemas or detection workflows. Experience with high-volume data processing or customer-facing integration projects. Our values Radical transparency. We believe the best work happens when everyone feels able to give and receive honest, constructive feedback. Public service. We see AI security as a form of public service. Getting the AI transition right means putting the right infrastructure in place to manage the threats that come with it, and our work helps protect the institutions and services society depends on. Fail fast. We test ideas early, seek feedback and learn quickly. We experiment rapidly and change course when something isn't working, without compromising on security. Pragmatism, not dogmatism. We choose approaches based on how well they solve the problem. That means combining established cybersecurity methods with frontier AI research, questioning our assumptions, and changing our minds when the evidence changes. Compensation and benefits Salary: £60,000–£115,000 Competitive equity to share in Refractal's growth Pension contribution Private medical and dental cover Visa and relocation support Compensation: £60K – £115K • Offers Equity • £60K – £115K • Offers Equity Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

The opportunity Tax advisory is an operational business. Every booking, every payroll run, every set of financial statements follows a process, and hardly any of them has ever been systematically questioned. They work because experienced people know their workarounds. That is the lever, and in this industry nobody has claimed it yet. The model is no longer the scarce part. Expert knowledge from real cases is, and AI labs pay a premium for exactly this. Vogel holds what no AI-native player has: decades of experience with several thousand mid-sized companies. You turn that knowledge into the standard every location works by. Vogel acquires independent advisory firms and builds them into the strongest name in their region. Every acquisition broadens that base. Operations means carrying this model: the same processes at every location, technology people actually use day to day, and an integration that runs faster the fifth time than the first. You own Operations end to end: harmonizing and automating processes, internal tools, IT infrastructure and the integration of every new unit. You build the function from the ground up. You work directly with Moritz Vogel. What you'll do Harmonizing and automating Work through bookkeeping, payroll and financial statements on site, on real cases, with the advisors who handle them daily. Harmonize processes across locations and automate what can be automated. Decide the tool stack and its standards: what we buy, how we set it up, what we switch off. You make that call, not a committee. Your benchmark: every process must hold at twice the client volume without twice the people. Integrating acquired units Own the integration of every new location: connectivity, data migration, moving onto our processes, readiness from day one. Turn it into a repeatable routine rather than a project. What takes months at the first location takes weeks at the fourth. Spot, with the advisors on site, where an acquired firm does it better, and adopt it. Team and operations Grow the Operations team to five or six people within twelve months. You choose the people and shape their focus areas. Own the leading metrics: digitization rate, adoption, turnaround times per location. Trace their root causes yourself. Stay close to the system. Anyone who only delegates and follows up loses their judgment within a year. Questions you'll answer In a process that grew over the years, where does substance end and habit begin, and how do you decide without turning the practitioners against you? What belongs in the standard that applies at every location, and what may an acquired firm keep? Four initiatives, time for two: how do you decide the order? What success looks like After 6 months: All processes across the locations are mapped, with numbers instead of impressions. Two core-business processes run automated in daily operations, and your first hire is selected. After 12 months: A team of five to six people with clear focus areas. Operational metrics are measured, not estimated. The integration path is a documented routine, and the tool stack is decided. After 24 months: Operations runs without daily involvement from management. Every further acquisition follows the same pattern, and the effort per location falls instead of growing with it. Where it leads: from Operations to overall responsibility for running the business. This is the management career at its most consistent, decided by contribution, not years served. What you bring You come from McKinsey, BCG or Bain as a senior consultant, project leader or engagement manager. Building operational systems in a growing company also qualifies: as head of operations or chief of staff in a B2B scale-up past Series B, as an operator at a company builder, as a forward deployed engineer or as a founder. You implement things yourself: processes, automations, new tools. You don't need to be a software engineer, but what you decide, you must be able to implement. You have pushed something through at several locations at once and know why that is different from doing it at one. AI is your everyday tool for process analysis, research and multiplying your own output. You explain decisions so a tax advisor with twenty years of experience sees the consequence and can act on it. And you bring the humility to learn from her. You can stand being out front alone, still bring the others along, and set the highest standard in everything you deliver. Not because someone checks, but because mediocrity is not an option for you. A plus, not a requirement An engineering degree (mechanical, industrial or computer science) and projects in operations, post-merger integration or process design where you owned implementation yourself. Knowledge of tax advisory, DATEV or a similarly regulated business. No conventional CV required: a tax advisor with their own automation track record, an information systems graduate after a corporate start, an industrial engineer with multi-site experience, a founder after an exit. We assess contribution, not labels. The salary range shown refers to the primary profile; a different background starts at a different market price and converges on the role's level after twelve months of proven performance. What this role is and what it isn't Implementing, not advising. You are accountable for what you decide. Process consulting that delivers a diagnosis and leaves is something else. An existing business, not a greenfield. DATEV is running, the locations are working, clients don't wait. What you build has to work alongside daily operations. On the ground, not at 30,000 feet. You work at the locations, on the real process. If you only want to work in concepts, this is not the place. Why join us A lever nobody owns yet. Processes that were never thought through, and nobody in the market who has solved it. Every acquisition multiplies. What you build once applies at the next firm from day one. The effort per location falls while the volume grows. Yours to decide: stack, standards and the shape of the team. No committee overrules you. Vogel is hierarchical in decisions, flat in communication, autonomous in execution. Performance is celebrated, not hidden, without politics and without consensus theater. Substance behind you. A profitable, growing business. No funding round decides whether your team still exists next year. The FAQ below is in German, as is our working day. FAQ 1. 5. Wie funktioniert die variable Vergütung? Quartalsweise an Leistung gekoppelt, qualitativ bewertet. Urlaub: 28 Tage. Compensation: €91,000 – €186,000 • €31,850 – €65,100 Bonus • Fixgehalt €91,000 – €186,000 • €31,850 – €65,100 Bonus Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

About The Role We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with real technical depth and an AI-first way of working . You'll own a product area end to end: finding problems worth solving, shaping the solution, taking it from 0 to 1 and growing it from there. You understand architecture, you've written code, you know how databases work, and you speak engineering fluently. Your main job is product. The technical depth is what lets you move faster and make better calls. AI isn't a feature we're adding. It's how we work and how we build. Expect roughly 70% product and 30% engineering, with full accountability for results. Your Mission Product direction: set the vision, strategy and roadmap for your area. Decide what to build, why, and how success is measured. 0-to-1 delivery: take new products and features from problem discovery to launch and iteration. Discovery and validation: work directly with users and data to understand real problems, not assumed ones. Run interviews, usability tests and experiments before committing to build. Metrics and outcomes: define, instrument and track the KPIs for your area. Use product analytics to find friction, prioritise the highest-impact work, and shut down what doesn't work. Engineering partnership: understand architectural trade-offs, review technical approaches and unblock decisions. Write specs engineers actually want to read: clear, technical and opinionated. AI and automation: find where LLMs and agents create real product value, build the case, and ship it. Fast prototyping: validate ideas with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, agents), scripts, no-code, or whatever gets you to the answer quickest. Hands-on work: write queries, dig into data pipelines, spin up prototypes, and open a PR when it makes sense. Prioritisation: balance user impact, business value, effort and regulatory constraints, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics and business owners to ship continuously. Your Profile 5+ years in product management or product engineering with strong technical involvement, and a track record of taking products from 0 to live use with real users. AI-native: you use LLMs, vibe coding and agents daily, and you've applied LLMs or agentic AI to real products. Strong in Python or a similar language, enough to build things yourself. Comfortable with SQL, git, databases and evaluating system architecture. Fluent in product analytics and research: you define metrics, read data yourself, and validate through interviews, usability testing and experiments. Strong grasp of UX. You can take a complex flow and make it simple. Experience shipping with Design and Engineering in an agile environment. Clear communicator in English and self-directed. You can explain technical decisions to non-technical people, write specs engineers respect, and don't wait to be told what matters. Nice to Have Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field. Experience in fintech or another regulated industry. Early-stage startup background. Hands-on LLM orchestration or prompt engineering. Background in software engineering, QA or product analytics. Why Join Vivid? We have a hybrid model in our Limassol and Berlin offices, or fully remote outside office locations. We support relocation to Cyprus (visa, package) when needed. AI-first culture – we use it every day, not just talk about it. Learning & development budget to support your professional growth. Fully paid vacation and sick leave. Sports compensation. Real growth prospects, significant responsibility, and the ability to make an immediate impact from day one. Compensation range Final compensation is determined individually, based on your experience, skills and the scope of the role, assessed against objective, gender-neutral criteria.
