This role is the connective tissue between Fivetran and the regional SI ecosystem, responsible for activating, enabling, and scaling partner-driven pipeline and revenue across a multi-country territory. Unlike the Strategic Enterprise PDM role, which manages a focused set of named global SI accounts, the PSM manages a broader portfolio of regional and mid-market SI partners. The PSM drives volume through breadth of coverage, partner activation, and repeatable co-sell motions across a defined geography. This is a hands-on, field-facing role that requires strong commercial instincts, relationship-building ability, and the operational discipline to manage many concurrent partner engagements across multiple countries, buying cultures, and regulatory environments. In cases where a regional SI partner overlaps with a PDM-managed named account, the PSM will collaborate closely with the PDM to ensure alignment and maximize joint impact. Role Mandate The Partner Sales Manager will: Build and manage a regional portfolio of SI partnerships across UK&I and the Nordics that drive measurable pipeline and bookings Activate partners through enablement, joint planning, and co-sell execution Serve as the primary Fivetran point of contact for assigned regional SI partners in territory Collaborate with Fivetran EMEA field sales to accelerate deals through partner engagement Coordinate with Strategic Enterprise PDMs when regional partners overlap with named accounts Deliver consistent, scalable partner motions that contribute to sub-regional revenue goals This is a full-time position based out of our London office. [If hybrid] Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. Technologies You'll Use Salesforce, Looker, Gong, ZINFI Partner Portal, Slack What You'll Do Own and grow a portfolio of regional and mid-market SI partners across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, prioritizing investment by pipeline potential, engagement maturity, and strategic fit Map and build relationships across each partner organization, including sales leadership, delivery, practice leads, and alliance contacts Maintain a structured engagement cadence of business reviews, pipeline syncs, and enablement sessions across the portfolio Balance coverage between the UK&I and Nordic markets, accounting for differences in deal size, buying cycle, and partner maturity Position Fivetran as the preferred data integration partner within the UK&I and Nordics SI ecosystem Drive partner onboarding, ramp, and ongoing sales and technical enablement on Fivetran and dbt Identify and develop partner champions who can position Fivetran inside their sales and delivery organizations Build partner capability to identify, qualify, and progress Fivetran opportunities independently Drive co-sell between Fivetran EMEA account executives and partner teams, activating partners early to increase S0 and S1 creation, pipeline velocity, and conversion Deliver sourced and influenced revenue against sub-regional targets, coordinating with Strategic Enterprise PDMs where regional partners overlap with named enterprise accounts Who Thrives Here This role is built for a partner-focused professional who: Thrives managing breadth and can keep many partners moving forward simultaneously Builds genuine relationships and earns trust quickly across different markets and cultures Is equally comfortable in a strategy conversation and a pipeline review Understands that alliances are measured by revenue impact, not activity volume Wants to grow into more senior alliance leadership over time Skills We're Looking For Multi-market portfolio management: ability to run 15 or more concurrent partner relationships across six countries without losing cadence, prioritizing time against pipeline potential rather than partner enthusiasm Co-sell execution: skill at earning the trust of EMEA account executives and inserting partners early enough in the cycle to change deal velocity and win rate, not just claim influence at the close Commercial structuring and negotiation: working command of channel economics, margin models, deal registration mechanics, and co-sell incentive design, with the judgment to know when a partner ask is worth funding Partner enablement design: capability to build and deliver sales and technical enablement that moves a partner from assisted selling to independent sourcing on Fivetran and dbt Modern data stack fluency: credible technical conversation across cloud platforms, data warehouses and lakehouses, transformation, and BI, sufficient to position Fivetran within a partner's delivery practice and architecture standards Pipeline rigor and forecast discipline: consistent Salesforce hygiene, accurate attribution, and defensible reporting on sourced pipeline and incremental bookings that stands up to senior leadership scrutiny Cross-cultural relationship building: ability to read and adapt to different buying cultures and decision styles across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics, and to communicate with equal clarity to a partner CEO and a field seller Bonus Skills Has worked inside a Systems Integrator or consultancy, and understands practice P&L, utilization, and how partners actually make money on a Fivetran engagement Experience transacting through hyperscaler marketplaces including private offers on AWS, Azure, or GCP, which increasingly shapes how SI-led deals close in EMEA Has built a partner territory from a standing start, not just inherited and maintained an existing book Fluency in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish Holds a Fivetran or dbt certification, or can whiteboard a reference architecture without a solutions engineer in the room Perks and Benefits 100% employer-paid medical insurance Generous paid time away from work, including paid vacation or flexible/unlimited vacation depending on role and country, plus paid sick time, inclusive parental leave, paid holidays, including a year-end Global Week of Rest, and volunteer days off. About Gusto At Gusto, we're on a mission to grow the small business economy. We handle the hard stuff — payroll, health insurance, 401(k)s, and HR — so owners can focus on their craft and their customers. With teams in Denver, San Francisco, and New York, we support more than 500,000 small businesses nationwide and are building a workplace that reflects the people we serve. All full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity (RSUs) — because everyone who helps build Gusto should share in its success. Offer amounts are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about our Total Rewards philosophy . AI is a fundamental part of how work gets done at Gusto. We expect all team members to actively engage with AI tools relevant to their role and grow their fluency as the technology evolves. AI experience requirements vary by role and will be assessed during the interview process. About the Role: Our designers are builders, and the direction the business is heading has elevated the bar for who we are and who we hire. This role brings in that builder-minded design talent across Product Design, Design Systems, Content Design, UX Research, Service Design, Brand Studio and Creative, and Design Operations. We're looking for a Staff Design Recruiter who brings the versatility and eagerness to flex into Product Management, Data, or other technical hiring areas. What will make you successful in this role: You've recruited designers as your specialty. You are comfortable talking craft with senior design leaders, and you already have a network and presence in the design community. You're an AI-fluent talent advisor. You leverage AI to shape search strategy, surface the market truth, and push back with evidence while balancing the true needs of the business. You don't just use AI, you build the agents and skills that carry that advisory judgment to the whole team, so everyone moves further together. You're always on. To you, talent acquisition and relationship management are one and the same. You consistently find bar raisers and nurture relationships long before there's an open requisition. About the Team: SpecTech is the "specialized tech" recruiting team inside Gusto's Invite (talent acquisition) org. We hire builders who are responsible for Gusto's product, particularly Designers, Product Managers and Data professionals. We don't just fill requisitions. We're talent advisors who partner closely with hiring leaders on requisition-based searches, work sourcing-first, and are data driven. We move fast, default to warmth, and hold ourselves to a high bar on candidate experience because we believe that how someone is treated in our process is part of the Gusto product experience. Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Recruiting end to end. You run specialized, req-based searches from pre-search strategy through offer acceptance, across levels and craft areas. You uphold a high bar for recruiting craft. Talent advisory. You run tailored outbound and build bar-raiser pipelines from the start, mapping the market as you go. You turn what you learn into calibration sessions, data-backed recommendations, and clear trade-offs on factors like level, location, and comp, so hiring leaders can make informed decisions. Work cross-functionally to achieve the goal. You build working relationships across Compensation, People Partners, Executive Operations and Candidate Experience and you know who to pull in and when, so work doesn't sit waiting. Guide candidates through an experience that resonates. High touch, honest, and caring, held to real SLAs, so people leave feeling seen, heard, and cared for, whether or not they get an offer. Build with AI, not just use it. You leverage AI to give yourself superpowers across top-of-funnel sourcing, market analysis, and the entire interview process, so your human touch lands where it matters most. You build new AI-enabled approaches, test new tools, and share what works to amplify the whole team's impact. Flex into other technical searches when priorities shift. Hiring for design is home base, but you pick up specialized Product Management, Data, or other technical searches when the business needs the coverage. Build an in-market design community in San Francisco. You bring designers together in person, showing up at and hosting local events, so Gusto is a name the SF design scene knows and your pipeline grows from real relationships, not cold lists. What might make this challenging, and worth it? Design and specialized tech hiring at this level is competitive, with a high hiring bar, and we're a lean team covering a wide surface area. The real challenge is the balance we aim to maintain: hiring for today's needs, nurturing relationships for the future, and pairing operational rigor with the human judgment that keeps quality high even as you lean on AI. What makes it worth it is you get to own the craft and partner with some of the best leaders around, working on the most critical roles that directly impact Gusto's growth. You do it alongside a team that genuinely cares about each other, great people who love the work and have fun doing it. If owning the end-to-end search, strategy and execution is the part that energizes you, this is exactly where you want to be. Here's what we're looking for: Full-cycle recruiting depth. Typically 8+ years across specialized tech, including meaningful time specializing in design recruiting. Data fluency. You read, research, and interpret data across multiple tools, turning it into a clear next move in a search and a compelling narrative for hiring partners. It's also how you prioritize a full requisition load and catch bottlenecks before they become problems. Sourcing as a craft. You know what great talent looks like, across all backgrounds and walks of life, where to find it, and how to assess it, with a knack for spotting bar raisers and building always-on pipelines. Cross-functional partnership. A proven ability to work across Compensation, People Partners, Executive Ops, and Finance to keep hires moving. Executive presence. A history of partnering with senior leaders, and the ability to walk into a room, read the audience, and speak with credibility. Bias for action and resilience. You move things forward and stay steady when a search gets hard. Compensation: Our cash compensation range for this role is $168,000 to $190,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area. Final offers are determined by candidate location, experience, and expertise, and may vary from the range above. At Gusto, we don't use titles the traditional way, as a signal of rank or hierarchy. Instead, our titles describe two things at once — your craft (what you do, e.g. Engineering, Design) and your scope of ownership (what you're accountable for) — which is why you'll see something like "Head of X" instead of a rank word like "Director" that tells you neither. Because of this, the title on this posting may look different from what you'd expect based on the scope and seniority of the role, and from how similar roles are typically titled elsewhere. If you have questions about how this role compares to your current title or level, your recruiter can help translate. Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale. Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas. When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required. This includes non-office days for hybrid employees. Reliable, consistent presence: We expect regular and predictable attendance, whether you're working in-office, hybrid, or fully remote, so that you stay closely connected to your team, customers, and stakeholders in real time and ensure colleagues and customers receive the timely support and responsiveness they deserve. Our customers come from all walks of life and so do we. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger. About the Role: As a People Empowerer (PE) on Gusto's Platform Sales team, you'll be the sales manager for a quota-carrying, high-velocity pod of 10-12 Account Executives — responsible for coaching your team to multi-product quota attainment, pipeline management, and activity metrics like dials. Your coaching cadence includes weekly 1:1s, call review and coaching debriefs, roleplays, and quarterly PDPs. Beyond your own pod, you'll own cross-functional relationships with RevOps, PMM, Product, and Sales Enablement, shaping strategy not just for your Gusties but for the products Platform Sales sells and the team's broader direction. You'll also carry DRI ownership on 2-3 active OKRs — agent builds, cross-functional strategy sessions, and initiative follow-through are core parts of the role. About the Team: Platform Sales helps small businesses get more value out of Gusto's platform through fast, efficient upsell and cross-sell motions, leveraging product signals and marketing-driven leads to drive expansion revenue at pace. The team is scaling to roughly 54 Gusties across 5 pods, each led by a PE who combines quota-carrying sales coaching — pipeline management, activity metrics like dials, and multi-product quota attainment — with real strategic ownership over the products and processes the team runs on, in partnership with RevOps, PMM, Product, and Sales Enablement. Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Manage a pod of 10-12 quota-carrying AEs, coaching to multi-product quota attainment, pipeline health, and activity metrics like dials Run weekly 1:1s and call review / coaching debriefs with each Gustie in your pod Facilitate roleplays for Gusties in a growth stage and lead weekly pod syncs Partner with RevOps, PMM, Product, and Sales Enablement to shape sales strategy and product positioning Own DRI responsibility for 2-3 active team OKRs and deliver quarterly PDPs Here's what we're looking for: 3-5+ years leading a quota-carrying SaaS sales team of 10+ reps in a high-velocity upsell/cross-sell motion Direct ownership of OKRs and experience coaching to pipeline management and activity metrics (e.g., dials) Multi-product SaaS experience is a plus Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable partnering with RevOps, PMM, Product, and Sales Enablement Our cash compensation range for this role is $143,675 to $176,000 OTE in Denver & Atlanta, $126,530 to $155,000 OTE in Phoenix. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. If you share our values and our enthusiasm for small businesses, you will find a home at Gusto. Gusto is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
