About Team & About Role Rubrik's sales organisation is a unified group of elite cross-functional professionals helping companies across every major industry achieve true resilience against cyberattacks, malicious insiders, and operational disruptions. As Named Account Executive in Germany, you'll own a portfolio of large enterprise accounts, driving Rubrik's continued expansion in one of Europe's most dynamic enterprise markets. What You'll Do Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts across Germany, combining existing customer relationships with new business development. Run full, multistakeholder sales cycles end to end — from discovery and qualification through solution design, negotiation, and close — across both net-new logo and existing-account expansion deals. Build and manage a high-quality pipeline across your territory, balancing larger strategic opportunities with faster-moving transactional deals. Develop executive relationships within your accounts, translating Rubrik's technical capabilities into the board-level priorities that make data security a strategic imperative. Partner closely with Solutions Engineers, Channel Development, and Rubrik's partner ecosystem to extend reach across your territory and position Rubrik against the full scope of customer risk. Collaborate with and learn from your regional peers — the German team works closely together on deal strategy and account coverage, so you'll grow fastest by leaning on each other. Feed market intelligence back to Rubrik's leadership, including competitive signals and account trends that shape our go-to-market approach across Germany. Experience You'll Need Experience closing complex enterprise deals, with the appetite to grow into larger, multi-product opportunities — we'll help you build the rest. A track record that shows both new-logo acquisition and growing existing customer relationships. Fluent in German and professional in English; you engage confidently with both technical buyers and executive stakeholders in either language. Understanding of enterprise buying cycles, procurement processes, and multistakeholder decision-making within large or complex organisations. Comfortable working with channel partners and distributors as part of a broader go-to-market motion. Willingness to travel regularly across your territory to build in-person relationships with customers. Preferred Qualifications Background in cybersecurity, data protection, backup/recovery, or adjacent infrastructure/cloud categories — candidates who understand the difference between data centre and cloud environments tend to ramp fastest. Experience with MEDDPICC as a sales qualification and execution framework. Existing relationships within large German enterprise or Mittelstand organisations. Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecast accuracy. #LI-CH2 #LI-remote Join Us in Securing and Accelerating the World's AI Transformation Rubrik (RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, leads at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration. About Team & About Role Rubrik's German Enterprise team protects the data of the country's leading companies against ransomware, insider threats and operational disruption, and there's never been a better time to be part of it. Cyber resilience has moved to the top of every CISO and board agenda, and Rubrik is leading that conversation. As a Major Account Executive, you'll own a small portfolio of Rubrik Germany's most strategic accounts: DAX-listed groups and global industry leaders. Some are already customers, many are not yet. This is a hunting role at the very top of the market, with the deal sizes, visibility and earning potential that come with it. What You'll Do Win new business across your accounts, from net-new logos to new divisions, subsidiaries and use cases within existing customers. Generate your own pipeline through executive outreach, account mapping and multi-threading across buying committees of 20+ stakeholders. Lead complex, long-cycle deals from first conversation to signature, using MEDDPICC to qualify rigorously and forecast accurately. Make cyber resilience a C-suite priority by connecting Rubrik's platform to NIS2, DORA and the real cost of downtime. Co-sell with leading partners, global system integrators and hyperscalers to open doors and speed up decisions. Work hand in hand with your dedicated Solutions Engineer, and help shape the Majors playbook as the team grows. Experience You'll Need Extensive enterprise technology sales experience, ideally in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection or enterprise SaaS. A proven track record of winning new business in DAX-listed or comparable multinational enterprises. This role is about creating new business, not just managing or renewing existing relationships. Evidence that you source your own pipeline: you can show what share of your closed business you generated yourself. Experience negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals at C-level (CISO, CIO, CFO). Fluent or native German and professional English. Preferred Qualifications MEDDPICC or a similar structured sales methodology. Established relationships in the German partner ecosystem. Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, automotive, manufacturing or critical infrastructure. Familiarity with backup, data security or cyber resilience solutions. #LI-CH2 #LI-remote Join Us in Securing and Accelerating the World's AI Transformation Rubrik (RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, leads at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration.
