Senior Project Manager, GTM Launch
DutchieUSA (Fully Remote)21 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteSenior$102,000 - $138,000 / Year
gosqlllmdentalproject managementtax+6

About Dutchie Founded in 2017, Dutchie is a comprehensive technology platform powering dispensary operations, while providing consumers with safe and easy access to cannabis. Dutchie aims to further support the positive societal change the cannabis industry brings to the world through wellness benefits, social justice, and empowering local communities through tax revenue. Powering thousands of dispensaries across 40+ markets throughout the United States and Canada, Dutchie is the leading technology company in the cannabis space and was named in Fast Company's 10 Most Innovative Companies in North America and listed two years in a row on LinkedIn's Top 50 Startups. Dutchie has raised over $600M in funding to date, backed by D1 Capital Partners, Tiger Global, Dragoneer, DFJ Growth, Thrive Capital, Howard Schultz, Snoop Dogg's Casa Verde Capital, Gron Ventures, members of the founding team at DoorDash, Kevin Durant's Thirty Five Ventures, and other notable angel investors. About This Job The Senior Project Manager, GTM Launch owns the launch management system that gets Dutchie's feature and product launches from ready-to-launch through adoption and measurable impact across our full product suite. This is a senior, autonomous role within Revenue Operations, acting as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Enablement, Marketing, Support, go-to-market teams, and most importantly, our customers. You will lead complex launches with minimal oversight, proactively surface risk before it becomes an escalation, and own change management for both internal teams and customers. You'll be equally comfortable driving a cross-functional operating cadence, influencing senior stakeholders when scope or timing is at risk, and pulling adoption data yourself to measure success and impact. Success is not simply shipping on time; it is ensuring teams are ready, customers understand the value, adoption follows, and each launch makes the next one better. What You'll Do… Own end-to-end project management for assigned feature and product launches — scoping, sequencing, timelines, dependencies, go/no-go criteria, and post-launch follow-through — in partnership with Product and Engineering leads. Maintain the launch board as the single source of truth, ensuring active launches have clear status, ownership, dependencies, risks, decisions, and next steps. Establish and run efficient, action-oriented launch cadences that keep cross-functional teams aligned, surface decisions early, and drive clear accountability. Design and run internal change management for each launch, including readiness plans for Sales, CSM, Support, Implementation, Marketing, and Enablement, with clear ownership of what must be true before GA. Design and run customer-facing change management, including rollout sequencing, customer communications, pilot or cohort strategy, and coordination with Marketing and Support. Proactively identify blocked or at-risk work, clarify tradeoffs, and coordinate solutions before stakeholders have to escalate. Translate changes in scope, timing, or dependencies into clear downstream business and customer impact, and drive the right stakeholders toward decisions. Develop working product knowledge deep enough to answer audience, functionality, and semi-technical questions on each launch without unnecessary escalation, connecting feature-level detail to customer and business impact. Partner closely with Technical Writing and Enablement, validating that release notes, training materials, internal guidance, and customer communications accurately reflect product functionality and positioning. Define success metrics before launch across internal readiness and external outcomes such as adoption, activation, usage, customer sentiment, and support volume. Monitor post-launch performance and proactively engage pilot, alpha, or early-adopter customers to identify friction, validate value, and surface emerging risks. Build feedback loops that turn launch data and customer signals into action — flagging underperformance quickly and driving retrospectives that result in clear owners and follow-through. Continuously improve the launch operating system by identifying high-leverage process, tooling, or automation opportunities and driving stakeholder alignment through implementation. Use AI and the broader tool suite to accelerate research, synthesize launch signals, improve documentation and reporting, identify risk patterns, and reduce manual work — while applying judgment and validating outputs. What You Bring 5+ years of project or program management experience, with meaningful ownership of feature or product launches in a SaaS or technology GTM environment. Demonstrated ownership of change management for both internal teams and external customers, including readiness, communications, rollout strategy, and adoption. Strong analytical orientation: able to define launch success metrics, pull and interpret product or usage data, and translate findings into action. Proven track record of proactive communication and risk management — surfaces issues early, frames tradeoffs clearly, and drives toward resolution. Strong facilitation and operating-rhythm skills: keeps cross-functional groups focused, drives decisions, and creates clear accountability without relying on formal authority. Demonstrated curiosity and follow-through: builds enough product and domain expertise to represent launches credibly with stakeholders and customers, and validates rather than assumes. Experience improving cross-functional processes, systems, or tooling and driving those changes through adoption. Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence senior stakeholders, hold a line on scope or timeline with empathy, and adapt communication for technical, GTM, and customer audiences. It's a Bonus if You… Experience with SQL, Excel/Sheets, and BI or product analytics tools such as Hex or Pendo for pulling and interpreting launch data directly. Experience using AI/LLM tools to improve research, synthesis, documentation, reporting, workflow automation, or decision support. Cannabis, regulated industry, or other multi-segment (SMB / Mid-Market / Enterprise) GTM experience. Background working in or alongside a Revenue Operations function structured around the full customer lifecycle. You'll Get… We are targeting a starting salary of $102,000 - $138,000 based on the intended level for this role. In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards package includes: Full medical benefits including dental and vision plans to ensure you always have the best care. Equity packages in the form of stock options to all employees. Technology (hardware, software, reading materials, etc..) allowance Flexible vacation and sick days At Dutchie, we're committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. About This Job We're hiring a Staff Engineer at Dutchie — someone who works across teams to solve the hardest problems, spot them early, and steer the technical direction so we hit fewer of them down the road. You'll work at the core of our platform: making it better, faster, and more reliable; and partner with teams across the org on the integrations and shared problems no single team owns. You'll shape how we build, including what good engineering looks like when AI is part of everyday work. The world of cannabis changes constantly, and we optimize our process for meeting that need while maintaining a high quality bar. We push context down, concerns up, and lean on a strong bias for ownership. If that's your kind of place, let's talk. What You'll Do… Make real improvements to enterprise-grade retail software at scale Set technical direction — make the architecture calls that shape how systems evolve, and align teams behind them Work with stakeholders to scope, sharpen, and stress-test customer-facing features Get in front of customers to learn how they work and where it hurts, then turn that into better products Partner across the org on unified solutions for problems that span teams Mentor other engineers — everyone had help to get here, reinforce your own skills by helping others grow theirs Help the team plan, estimate, and de-risk big work by breaking it down and sequencing it well Set the bar for engineering judgment, code quality, and craft What You Bring... We're flexible on years of experience. The depth and influence we're after usually show up around 8+ years in, but it's about what you can do, not the number on your résumé. Engineering depth (the foundation) A track record of building and running production systems at scale Deep, hands-on experience in at least one modern backend stack — across Dutchie you'll find .NET/C#, TypeScript, Ruby, and React on the frontend, backed by PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MongoDB. We care more about how fast you ramp than a perfect stack match on day one Experience designing scalable data models across relational and non-relational stores Pride in your craft — code that's clean, tested, and easy for the next person to build on AI-native ways of working (how you operate) You use LLMs routinely — researching unfamiliar systems, diagnosing issues, planning solutions to messy problems, writing and reviewing code, and watching what you ship You are comfortable and excited about an agentic first environment. You know how to utilize AI to ship better solutions faster and safer than you could by hand alone. You raise the team's baseline — turning one-off wins into repeatable practices How you show up (the multipliers) You make the people around you better — your biggest impact isn't just your code, it's how you raise everyone else's output and judgment You're genuinely curious about customers, and you let their pain points steer where the team spends its effort When a problem spans multiple teams and no one owns the whole thing, you're the one who scopes it, breaks it into pieces teams can run with, and keeps them pointed the same way You can hold several threads at once — a few projects plus the broader technical direction — and reprioritize cleanly when things shift You know where process helps and where it's in the way You communicate well — you make hard trade-offs clear to engineers, product, and leadership alike You own outcomes, not tasks — from ambiguous to shipped, accountable for how it runs in production It's a Bonus if You… Have experience in the cannabis industry — building for it, working in it, or just knowing the space Have built POS, Ecommerce, Payments, or other retail and commerce technology Have built and monitored cloud-native infrastructure (AWS) Have deep experience with third-party integrations Have brought AI-assisted workflows, tooling, or agents to an engineering team You'll Get… We are targeting a starting salary of $170,000 - $230,000 based on the intended level for this role. In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards package includes: Full medical benefits including dental and vision plans to ensure you always have the best care. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is seeking a Senior Manager, M&A Finance Integration to run the finance function's role in each transaction, from LOI through Day 1 readiness and post-close execution, and to own the program management of Anthropic's growing legal entity footprint. This is a build-and-run opportunity. Reporting to the Director, M&A Finance Integration, you will be the day-to-day operator of the M&A Finance Integration program: you will scope and drive the finance integration plan for each deal, coordinate finance workstreams alongside Corporate Development, Legal, and People, and be the connective tissue between deal teams and the functions that execute. You will also own the end-to-end legal entity lifecycle (setup, migration, and wind-down) for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries, and turn what we learn from every deal and legal entity set up into a maintained playbook and template library. The ideal candidate has operated in a similar function at a high-growth technology company, brings enough accounting fluency to know when a closing spreadsheet or entity plan looks wrong, and thrives on building rigorous, repeatable processes while deals are live. Key responsibilities Deal Integration Planning & Execution Scope and own the finance integration plan for each transaction across every phase, from LOI and due diligence through signing, sign-to-close, and Day 90, spanning finance functions Tailor the plan to the integration model (full integration vs. standalone subsidiary) and define each function's baseline activities and standalone-specific deltas Ensure every function is engaged at the right phase, with clear owners, dependencies, and escalation paths Run the integration operating rhythm: workstream check-ins, issue logs, risk registers, RACI matrices, decision logs, and status reporting to finance leadership Negotiate deliverables and trade-offs directly with functional leads; escalate to the Director with a recommendation when priorities conflict Day 1 Readiness & Post-Close Execution Drive Finance Day 1 readiness: bank account control and signers, payroll cutover, AP/AR continuity, ERP entity, cost-center and project-code setup, chart-of-accounts mapping, and expense policy communication Run the Day 1 checklist and 30/60/90-day follow-through, ensuring acquired entities are onboarded without disruption to the close cycle Coordinate the closing spreadsheet, net working capital mechanics, and post-close true-up with Corporate Development, Legal and Technical Accounting Serve as a primary finance point of contact for the target's finance team and Corporate Development's integration lead during transition Scope, track, and manage external advisor engagements and unblock issues as they arise Stakeholder Management & Communication Act as a credible counterpart to Corporate Development, finance functional leads, and target finance leadership on integration substance Communicate integration and entity status to leadership through clear dashboards and written briefings Mentor team members and contractors as the function grows Handle confidential deal information with discipline Legal Entity Lifecycle Program Management Build and run the end-to-end entity setup process: decision documentation, incorporation, tax registrations, banking, ERP entity creation, functional-currency assessment, payroll or employer-of-record bridge, and statutory / compliance calendar onboarding, with a named owner for each step across US and international entities Own the entity wind-down process, including customer and vendor off-boarding, final payroll and employee transfers, account closure, intercompany settlement, and final statutory filings, in partnership with Legal, Tax, and the involved finance functions Design and maintain a single entity tracker with per-entity, per-workstream implications and status, aligned with adjacent entity programs (e.g., infrastructure and special-purpose entities) so they share one backbone Playbook, Templates & Infrastructure Build and own the Legal Entity Playbook: a repeatable, end-to-end framework covering entity formation, migration, and wind-down for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries in the US and internationally Own and maintain sections of the modular M&A Finance Integration Playbook: per-function deliverables by phase, standard operating procedures, and the template library  Lead post-deal retrospectives and drive the resulting changes into the playbook and templates Identify and implement tooling and automation, including AI-assisted solutions, for recurring program work such as status synthesis, tracker updates, escalations and draft communications Minimum qualifications Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least two finance integration projects or entity set up projects, from planning through post-close execution, including project plan ownership and executive reporting Working accounting fluency across the areas your stakeholders own: the close calendar, chart of accounts, intercompany, statutory reporting, purchase accounting fundamentals, and the finance implications of common deal structures (asset vs. stock, acquihire vs. strategic, full integration vs. standalone) Strong program-management capability: comfortable scoping ambiguous work, owning multiple parallel workstreams, and managing to milestones without extensive oversight Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) in an acquisition and migration context Cross-functional credibility with Legal, Tax, People, Corporate Development, and Finance sub-functions, and the ability to drive outcomes across competing timelines and risk tolerances Comfort operating under deal-environment time pressure and confidentiality, with sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex operational issues into clear, decision-ready briefings Preferred qualifications 10+ years in finance, accounting, or finance operations, with at least 3 years running cross-functional programs at a high-growth technology company, with a focus in M&A integration or legal entity programs Have built or significantly contributed to a finance integration playbook, template library, or integration management office infrastructure from scratch Bring international entity experience: new-jurisdiction setup, statutory audit and local GAAP obligations, employer-of-record bridges, transfer pricing and intercompany agreements Have worked with standalone-subsidiary integration models, consolidation bridges, and equity-method investments Be an active user of AI tools in their own workflow and excited to push program management toward automation Hold a CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification Be genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with Anthropic's mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $190,000 — $230,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit  anthropic.com/careers  directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
