Who we are About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies, from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups, use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Testability has long been a priority for Stripe. Before users trust code with their money, they need to verify that it's safe and correct. This need drove Stripe to build test mode and, more recently, Sandboxes, which enables safe, isolated, and scalable testing. As businesses build with AI and agents, their testing needs are evolving. Stripe customers use claimable sandboxes to add Stripe capabilities to prototypes before business registration. Once onboarded, they provision isolated test environments to support agents' exploration. These capabilities help developers and agents build and test their integrations with Stripe. The Sandboxes team defines, builds, and operates these testing capabilities. We work across Stripe to make our products testable, helping businesses develop with confidence and shaping the future of Stripe's developer platform. What you'll do You'll lead and grow the Sandboxes engineering team, setting technical direction and operating critical systems. You'll build a culture of operational excellence and thoughtful product development. You'll work directly with users to understand their needs and partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to shape and deliver the team's strategy. The role combines building reusable testing capabilities across Stripe with attention to the details that make developer tools effective and easy to use. Responsibilities Lead engineering planning and execution, partnering with Design to build clear, useful testing experiences. Shape the team's strategy and roadmap, aligning partners across Product, Design, Infrastructure, Marketing, and Operations. Own delivery from problem definition through rollout and ongoing operation, improving both system performance and the user experience. Uphold high engineering standards across the team's codebases and development practices. Partner with Recruiting to hire engineers and build a diverse, high-performing team. Coach and mentor engineers, provide candid feedback, and support career development tailored to their goals. Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, we encourage you to apply. Minimum requirements 4+ years of engineering management experience, directly managing and growing teams of 5+ engineers building and shipping products at scale. 8+ years of full-time software development experience. Experience building reusable, extensible software that supports a range of user needs, with strong user empathy and a commitment to high-quality user experiences. Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of finding practical solutions to complex challenges. Experience turning ambiguous goals into clear priorities and delivering multiple high-impact workstreams. A track record of building a supportive environment with candid feedback and high expectations. Technical depth to guide architecture and product design discussions and help engineers make informed tradeoffs. Experience taking ownership of initiatives and moving work forward independently. Preferred qualifications Strong product and design judgment, including the ability to simplify complex user experiences. Experience making decisions and building strong working relationships across teams. Experience building and leading a distributed team across multiple locations and time zones. Experience building developer tools or platform capabilities. Experience building testing tools or capabilities that help users test within a product. Experience building AI agent systems or tools that support agent-driven development.

📈 Who We Are: We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that's long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today's electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We've built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale. In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We're scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we're not just building another energy company, we're rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception. 🚀 The Role We're hiring a People Operations Partner to join our Performance team. tem is rebuilding the energy transaction - transparent, fair and built on trust. Behind that mission is a company growing fast, and a Performance team that's already lean and stretched. Core People operations needs more firepower as we scale, and there's a direct commercial angle too: a strong People Operations function is what lets new joiners ramp up and become productive faster once they arrive. This is a multi-disciplinary People Operations role at the centre of the employee lifecycle - equal parts operational delivery, automation and continuous improvement. You'll be the reliable hands keeping People processes running as we scale, from multi-country payroll to onboarding, employee changes and offboarding. You'll also build the tools, automations and lightweight AI workflows that connect our systems (Rippling, Notion, Linear, Slack, Ashby, n8n and Google Workspace), so the function doesn't need to double in size every time headcount does. In your first 12 months, you might: Take ownership of payroll across our UK and employer-of-record employees, keeping every cycle accurate and on time as pay schedules and countries multiply. Become the trusted point of contact for employees and managers, owning their queries through to resolution. Build the automations and AI-enabled workflows that remove repetitive manual work from the employee lifecycle. Turn recurring pain points into better processes, tools or self-service, and measure whether they actually worked. Move across People disciplines as priorities shift - reward and benchmarking, pensions and options administration, performance cycles, engagement and people data. 🛠️ Responsibilities Run payroll end to end: own monthly payroll across UK and employer-of-record employees - changes, corrections, off-cycle and ex-gratia payments, contractor payroll and invoicing, and country-specific items - keeping it accurate and on time as we add pay schedules and countries. Keep the lifecycle running: deliver core People operations across onboarding, employee changes, contracts and documentation, leave, mobility (visas and international moves), EOR and contractor setup, and offboarding, flexing into whatever the business needs most. Be the trusted point of contact: own employee and manager queries through to resolution with a clear response standard, rather than passing them between functions. Keep the foundations accurate: maintain employee data, documentation and systems so that everything else can depend on them. Automate the repeatable: build and maintain automations and lightweight AI-enabled tools, workflows and agents that connect Rippling, Notion, Linear, Slack, Ashby, n8n, Google Workspace and similar, and remove repetitive manual work - with controls so speed never costs accuracy, privacy or employee trust. Own the People tech stack: evolve our People technology ecosystem - evaluate emerging tools, consolidate where we can, and simplify the architecture. Improve continuously: turn recurring employee and manager pain points into better processes, tools, guidance or self-service, measure whether they worked, and give foundational People processes a named owner and a runbook someone else could follow cold. Design to delight and to scale: we treat our people like top athletes and aim to delight at every step of the employee journey, and what works at today's size shouldn't need twice the People team when headcount doubles - default to eliminating or automating work rather than administering it. Partner across the business: work with Finance, Legal, Talent, Performance Partners and functional specialists to turn People initiatives into scalable services, and build dashboards and lightweight analysis that help the team and the business make better decisions. ✅ Requirements Must-Haves You've worked in People Operations, People Services, HR Operations or another operational People role - generalists welcome - and you hold a high bar on accuracy and confidentiality. You've run payroll cycles end to end, ideally multi-country, in-house or through an employer of record. UK fundamentals (PAYE, RTI, pension auto-enrolment, statutory payments) are familiar, or clearly learnable fast if your payroll experience comes from another market. You're highly comfortable with technology: AI is part of how you work, you actively experiment with new tools and capabilities, and you can build automations through no-code or low-code tools, integrations and AI workflows. You think in systems and workflows rather than individual tasks, with a strong instinct for simplification ("why are we doing this manually?"), and you're comfortable using data to diagnose problems and make decisions. You operate effectively in ambiguity, without waiting for a perfectly defined process or remit, and you balance efficiency with empathy - People Operations is about people, not just workflows. Strong ownership instincts: when something's broken, unclear or inefficient, your instinct is to fix it, and you're willing to move across People disciplines depending on where the organisation needs you. Desirable Breadth across the People remit beyond Operations - reward and benchmarking, pensions, benefits, or performance and engagement. This role is deliberately multi-disciplinary. Familiarity with the basics of UK and EU employment law, and experience administering equity or share options (for example EMI or unapproved schemes, and cap-table tools such as Vestd). Experience supporting international employment through employers of record, and setting up or managing contractors (including off-payroll and IR35 awareness). Experience in a fast-scaling startup or scale-up, especially through a period of doubling headcount or entering new countries. 🎁 Benefits & Perks Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission. 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off. Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons. Up to GBP1,200 or EUR1,400 per year for your remote setup. Up to GBP150 or EUR170 per month for wellbeing. 🤝 Interview Process We move fast. Most processes take 2 to 3 weeks from first chat to offer. If you need us to adapt anything, let us know. Intro call with our Talent team. Hiring Manager interview. Skills interview, which might include a practical exercise. Bar Raiser interview with leadership stakeholders. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you're excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we're looking for. Applied Intuition, Inc. is powering the future of physical AI. Founded in 2017 and now valued at $15 billion, the Silicon Valley company is creating the digital infrastructure needed to bring intelligence to every moving machine on the planet. Applied Intuition services the automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining and agriculture industries in three core areas: tools and infrastructure, operating systems, and autonomy. Eighteen of the top 20 global automakers, as well as the United States military and its allies, trust the company's solutions to deliver physical intelligence. Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with offices in Washington, D.C.; San Diego; Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan; London; Stuttgart; Munich; Stockholm; Bangalore; Seoul; and Tokyo. Learn more at applied.co . We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions About the role We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner in EMEA, supporting employees across Germany, Sweden, England, and other emerging geographies. You'll partner directly with country leaders at a company where the region is growing quickly, decisions are made in days, and priorities shift. You'll lead through influence, building trust with leaders in the region and with the People team at HQ in Sunnyvale, California. You are the senior People leader for the region, and the People function for EMEA runs through you. You'll own end-to-end People programs in every area starting at onboarding, and you'll be ready to direct stakeholders across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit: regional leaders, managers, HQ People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, and local advisors and vendors. You set the priorities, assign the owners, and drive each issue to resolution. We expect our PBPs to lead with high agency, and this role carries that expectation further than any other. You'll set the regional People agenda, make the calls, and drive outcomes the way a regional Chief People Officer would, with specialist partners at HQ to pull in when you need them. Location: Munich, Germany Reports to: Chief People Officer At Applied Intuition, you will: Be the senior People leader and business strategist for EMEA. Understand where the regional business is going and bring leaders a clear point of view, with the tradeoffs of each option laid out. Translate business goals into talent decisions: org design, workforce planning, leveling, and succession. Use data to spot attrition risk, capability gaps, and structural problems before the business feels them, and treat your leaders as customers whose success is your measure. Lead end-to-end People programs for the region. Own the employee experience across the region: onboarding, payroll and benefits coordination, leave, compensation, performance, engagement, and employee relations, working within local employment requirements. Be scrappy when the moment calls for it: where infrastructure doesn't exist yet, build a working version yourself and refine it as you go. Direct stakeholders across the employee lifecycle. Take the lead with HQ People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, and local advisors and vendors. Set priorities by risk, impact, and reversibility, assign owners and deadlines, and stay on each issue until the employee or manager has a complete answer. Build self-service resources, manager guides, and clear escalation paths so the regional People function doesn't depend on any one person. Connect Sunnyvale and EMEA. Make sure regional perspectives are part of global decisions early, and make global programs work locally. Know what has to stay consistent worldwide and what should flex by country, and bring HQ recommendations with the tradeoffs laid out, not just concerns. Treat each country in the region as its own environment, not as one market. Lead the region through growth and change. Support expansion into new countries and entities, reorganizations, and leadership transitions with a clear plan, narrative, and follow-through with managers and teams. Increase talent density. Lead calibration, promotion, and talent review for the region. Identify and develop top talent, coach managers to raise the bar on their teams, and handle performance and employee relations issues with judgment, discretion, and dignity. Move fast and move safe. We are looking for someone who has: 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years partnering directly with senior leaders, preferably in a high-tech environment, and experience as the sole or lead People leader for a region or country. Breadth across the full HR function: employee relations, compensation, payroll and leave administration, performance management, org design, and engagement. You move comfortably from an individual employee's pay issue to a reorganization conversation with an executive on the same day. Working knowledge of employment practices and requirements in Germany, Sweden, and England and the judgment to know when a question needs local counsel or another specialist before you act. Strong business acumen. You understand how the business makes money, where the constraints are, and how talent decisions affect outcomes, and you can speak that language with executives. Leadership and high agency. You've been the senior People leader for a region or business with minimal direction, directed partners across payroll, legal, benefits, and vendors without formal authority, and made decisions with incomplete information. Strong judgment. You know when to move fast, when to slow down an irreversible decision, and when to bring in partners, and leaders trust your read on sensitive, ambiguous situations. A record of influencing in both directions. You've advocated for a region with headquarters and challenged regional leaders when needed, and you can tell the difference between a legal requirement, a business need, and a preference. A record of leading change, not just supporting it, including implementing global programs locally and guiding teams through growth or reorganization. Fluency with data and clear, concise, direct communication, and the discipline to prioritize ruthlessly when everything feels urgent. Business-level fluency in the local language is a plus. Comfort working across time zones with a People team based in California. Nice to have: Experience supporting engineering, research, or other highly technical organizations. Experience supporting a region through entity setup or expansion into new countries, including work with an employer of record or PEO. Experience building People programs from scratch in a high-growth company. Benefits: 30 days of paid vacation per year Daily meal benefits: €19 lunch budget and €19 dinner budget, free breakfast, snacks, and drinks in the office You'll receive €965 annual learning & development and €580 annual fitness budget Subsidized Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms, studios, and wellness facilities across Germany €25 monthly contribution to your Deutschlandticket for regional public transport across Germany Generous parental leave: on top of statutory parental leave Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles. Applied Intuition is an equal opportunity employer and federal contractor or subcontractor. Analytics Engineer (Senior)
Sprinter HealthMenlo Park, United States65 days ago

pythonsqlsnowflakebigqueryredshiftdatabricks+9

Analytics Engineer About Sprinter Health At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can't get to a doctor's office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system, driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year. By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we've supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators has raised over $125M from investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoys multi-year runway. About The Role We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to build the trusted data layer that analysts, data scientists, operations, finance, product, and our payer customers depend on. At Sprinter, data is central to how we operate, measure performance, serve patients, and support our health plan partners. This role will own the canonical models, metric definitions, transformation logic, documentation, and tests that make our data reliable and reusable across the company. You'll help define what each table, field, and metric means, then build the infrastructure that ensures those definitions are consistently applied. That includes modeling data in dbt or equivalent tooling, creating reporting-ready tables, improving lineage and documentation, reconciling metrics across teams, and helping prevent the kind of data drift and metric chaos that slows companies down as they scale. This role is ideal for someone who treats metric definitions as product artifacts, thinks in contracts and tests, and cares deeply about making data trustworthy for both internal users and external customers. Office Location We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco and Menlo Park. We operate on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-anywhere days. We care deeply about work-life balance and are happy to provide flexibility when life happens. We ask that employees be in the office Monday through Thursday to collaborate with their teams while maintaining flexibility where it matters most. Lunch is provided every day, and the entire team takes an hour to eat together. It's one of the ways we stay connected outside of meetings. You'll usually find us playing a board game before getting back to work. What you will do Build canonical data models that create a shared source of truth across the company Define and maintain core business, operational, financial, product, and customer-facing metrics Model data in dbt or equivalent transformation tooling so dashboards, self-serve analytics, and customer reports pull from trusted tables Write tests, documentation, and data quality checks that catch issues before they reach users Create clear definitions for tables, fields, and metrics so teams understand what the data means and when to use it Reconcile metric definitions across internal teams, external reporting needs, and payer customer expectations Trace data lineage and debug dashboards, reports, or tables that change unexpectedly Partner with analysts, data scientists, operations, finance, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand data needs and translate them into reliable models Help build reusable reporting frameworks that make onboarding new payers faster and less manual Partner with the data platform team to evolve warehouse tables, improve data architecture, and strengthen data contracts Improve warehouse cost, performance, and maintainability Support PHI-aware data access patterns and help ensure sensitive healthcare data is modeled and used responsibly What you have done Built analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data modeling systems in a production cloud warehouse environment Written expert-level SQL and designed data models that support reporting, analysis, and decision-making Worked with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework Built tested, documented, reusable data models rather than one-off queries Defined, maintained, or reconciled business-critical metrics across teams Partnered with analysts, data scientists, operators, finance teams, product teams, or customer-facing stakeholders Debugged data quality issues, dashboard changes, metric discrepancies, and lineage problems Worked with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks SQL, or similar Balanced speed, correctness, usability, and maintainability when building data assets Communicated clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders about what data means and how it should be used What gives you an edge You have experience with healthcare data, claims data, EHR data, payer data, provider data, or other complex healthcare datasets You've worked with PHI, HIPAA-aware data access patterns, or other sensitive regulated data You have experience building customer-facing reporting, embedded analytics, or multi-tenant data models You've worked with row-level security, access controls, or governed self-serve analytics You have experience using Python for analysis, scripting, data validation, or automation You've helped establish a semantic layer, metrics layer, or company-wide source of truth You've built data models in a high-growth startup or operationally complex environment You have experience improving warehouse performance, cost, and query efficiency What makes you successful You treat a metric definition as a product artifact, not a Slack thread You make data trustworthy, reusable, and easy to understand You prevent metric chaos by building clear definitions, tests, and documentation You build so that a fix in one place does not require five copy-paste edits elsewhere You understand that internal users and external customers both need data they can trust You care about the usability of the data model, not just whether the pipeline runs You can explain data discrepancies clearly and drive teams toward shared definitions You build foundations that help the company move faster with more confidence Day to Day In This Role, You Might Spend Your Time Building or refactoring dbt models Adding tests to core tables Defining canonical fields and documenting how they should be used Reviewing metric definitions and reconciling them across teams Debugging a dashboard, report, or customer-facing metric that changed unexpectedly Tracing lineage from source systems through warehouse models to downstream reports Partnering with analysts, operators, finance, product, or customer-facing teams on reporting needs Improving warehouse performance, cost, and maintainability Designing reusable reporting structures that make new payer launches easier The Interview Process We aim to complete the interview process within 2–3 weeks. It will usually consist of: Recruiter Screen: Background fit, motivation, and compensation alignment Hiring Manager Interview: Analytics engineering experience, data modeling depth, and stakeholder partnership Hands-on Technical Assessment: SQL, data modeling, metric design, and practical analytics engineering judgment Onsite Interview: Technical case study, systems/data modeling discussion, behavioral interview, and lunch with the team References: Validation of performance, judgment, and working style What we offer Meaningful pre-IPO equity Medical, dental, and vision plans 100% paid for you and your dependents Flexible PTO + 10 paid holidays per year 401(k) with match 16-week parental leave policy for birthing parent, 8 weeks for all other parents HSA + FSA contributions Life insurance, plus short and long-term disability coverage Free daily lunch in-office Annual learning stipend Relocation assistance Equal Opportunity Statement Sprinter Health is an equal opportunity employer.
