About lemon.markets 🍋 We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers. lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months. As part of the dwpbank group, we're adding a layer of resources and expertise to benefit from, while continuing to operate as an independent fintech with our own team, product, and start-up identity under the dwpbank umbrella. Your Mission: As a Backend Engineer at lemon.markets, you will play an important role in designing the backend services and architecture of our brokerage API platform that allows other companies to easily embed investing into their product. You will independently build and deliver high-quality features and services within a cross-functional team, from implementation through production. You will take ownership of your team's deliverables, make thoughtful implementation choices based on product context and customer needs, and help ensure that the systems you work on are reliable, maintainable and ready to scale. You will work in one of our product domains: Customer Lifecycle, Investing or Banking processes, helping us maintain and improve the Core Platform & Systems around them. Our tech stack is Python, FastAPI, AWS and Postgres. In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to the development of our core Platform & Systems and to the technical decisions within your team. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of experts as we build the investment infrastructure for the next 100 million retail investors in Europe. About you: You write well-structured, maintainable and well-tested code in at least one modern programming language, such as Python , Go, Java, Ruby, JavaScript or TypeScript. We're technology agnostic, so Python experience isn't required, but you should be excited to learn it. You have experience in designing and implementing highly scalable architecture and reliable REST APIs and bring the desire to make them world-class. You have a track record of designing, building and operating reliable and scalable backend systems as part of a cross-functional team. You will be successful in this role if: Growing investment opportunities excites you. We operate in a highly regulated environment and therefore having worked prior in a Fintech or financial Service provider would give you a head start, but is not a must. You see yourself as a product engineer. That means, you are excited by solving customer problems and strive to become an expert in the domain area you are working in. You enjoy building from scratch. This means high involvement in the product development process itself while advocating for the best engineering practices. It also means that you enjoy taking technical decisions. You are ready and willing to take ownership of problems and act on them decisively with no supervision. You always thrive for high quality outcomes through focus, determination and attention to detail. You are a team player. Working together as a team, sharing knowledge & providing mentorship comes naturally to you. Long term - you consider becoming a team lead. You have no problem with learning new technologies on the go. You try to solve problems with more things than the ones you already know. We will always enable you with that, but your willingness has to come first. You understand what working in a startup or a similar lean organisation is like. You are able to work with a small team in a lean environment, can move quickly and focus on what's truly important. Our Mission At Omnea, we're reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails , and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved. We've raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility. The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it . We've 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We're now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for. Our team previously scaled Tessian ( cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel , acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who've grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You'll work alongside leaders like Ben , Abs , Sabrina , and Rebe . Find out more about the team and life at Omnea here . The Role AI is changing what "technical support" means at a fast-growing SaaS company. The old model was reactive: wait for a ticket, dig through logs, escalate up a chain until someone senior enough could unblock it. Increasingly, the first pass on an integration failure or a broken workflow can be directed rather than done line by line by hand: AI can trace through logs, draft hypotheses, and suggest fixes fast. The job shifts with it. Instead of grinding through every stack trace yourself, you direct AI to accelerate the investigation and apply what AI can't: judgment on whether a fix is safe to ship into a live enterprise environment, whether the root cause is actually fixed or just patched, and whether this is a one-off or a pattern worth escalating to Product. As Omnea's Technical Solutions Engineer, you're the senior technical presence sitting between Customer, Product, and Engineering. You own Omnea's most complex customer-facing technical problems end to end - gnarly integrations, cross-system issues, escalations nobody else can crack. You're the person the team calls in when something's on fire, and you're just as comfortable stepping into a customer's implementation when it gets technical. This is a foundational hire. You'll set the technical bar for how Omnea supports enterprise customers, and help define how the function grows from here. What You'll Do Own the hardest technical problems: Lead investigation and resolution of Omnea's most complex customer issues - integrations, configuration edge cases, cross-system bugs. Direct AI to accelerate the first pass, then apply the judgment AI can't: is this safe to ship, is the root cause actually fixed. Be the SWAT team between Customer, Product, and Engineering: Act as the senior escalation point when an issue is beyond what the Customer team can resolve alone, and the technical voice in the room when Product and Engineering need to understand what's really happening on the ground. Get technical inside implementations: Step into live implementations when they hit technical complexity - tricky integrations, custom logic, unusual data flows - and work directly with the implementation team to get them unstuck. Feed the product roadmap: Spot patterns across the issues you resolve and turn them into clear, well-scoped input for Product and Engineering, so the same problem doesn't need solving twice. Build the standards as you go: Document what you learn, build the tooling and playbooks for triaging and resolving complex technical issues, and raise the bar for technical quality as the team grows around you. What's Different About This Role You'll spend more time directing AI through the first pass of an investigation than manually tracing every log line yourself. AI narrows down the likely cause fast; your job is confirming it's right and safe to act on. Writing a sharp, specific brief for what you want AI to investigate or fix is now a core skill, not a nice-to-have. Judgment on production risk matters more, not less: AI can suggest a fix in minutes, but you decide whether it's safe for a live enterprise environment. You'll keep experimenting with AI tooling as it evolves, and bring what works back to the rest of the team. About You We don't expect you to have done this exact job before. TL;DR: you're a technical, customer-facing problem-solver who's as comfortable elbow-deep in an API integration as you are explaining what went wrong to a CFO's technical lead. 3-8+ years in a customer-facing technical role - technical support engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, or similar - at a fast-growing SaaS company A technical background: a Computer Science or Engineering degree, prior experience as a software developer or engineer, or strong hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, and system integrations Strong systems intuition: comfortable diving into unfamiliar platforms, reasoning about architecture, and figuring out where in a complex system something's actually broken Comfortable directing AI tools to speed up investigation and first-draft fixes, with the judgment to know what to trust and what to double-check An excellent communicator who can flex between a technical deep-dive with an engineer and a clear explanation for a non-technical stakeholder Entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity: you want to help build the standards and playbook for this function, not just follow one that already exists High ownership: when something's broken, you own it through to resolution, and you raise your hand for the hard problems rather than waiting to be assigned them At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out. Headquarters: Bulgaria URL: http://jobhire.ai Description CVM Lead (US Market) Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time About JobHire.AI JobHire.AI is a vertical AI agent that automates job search for professionals in the US market. We find, tailor, and apply to jobs on behalf of thousands of paying subscribers — at scale and with precision. We operate a subscription model with monthly and longer-term tiers, plus paid add-ons. We're entering a phase where deeper customer value management — not just acquisition — is the single biggest unlock for profitable growth. Why This Role Now We are spending efficiently to acquire users — but a substantial portion of revenue is left on the table after the first purchase. Reg→Purchase conversion is below where it should be. Rebill rates erode quickly past month one. Add-on attach is minimal. Our reactivation engine is currently offline. We've been operating an email-only CRM on a platform that doesn't return analytics through its API. That ends with this hire. This is a role for someone who has already done the transformation we need: turning a basic broadcast CRM into a measurable CVM function that drives incremental revenue across email, SMS, and web push — on the US market specifically. What You'll Own Funnel Conversion Drive Reg→Purchase conversion through triggered post-quiz, paywall-abandonment, and onboarding sequences across email, SMS, and web push. Own first-purchase activation across the first 7 days. Retention & Rebill Differentiate renewal sequences by plan tier (1 / 3 / 6 month). Build pre-cancel intervention flows — pause offer, plan-switch, value reminder — using captured cancel reason. Move the dial on month-1 rebill rate, the single most leveraged metric in our subscription economics. Reactivation Build the reactivation engine for the cancelled cohort — across email and SMS, personalized by cancel reason and tenure. Recover revenue from a base that is currently dormant due to deliverability issues. Add-on Monetization Own the CRM-driven path to add-on products (Resume Review, Resume Builder): timing, segmentation, copy, channel. Channel & Tooling Lead the migration off our current ESP onto our chosen omnichannel platform (Maestra is the current candidate; Customer.io is the alternative). Recover and maintain email domain reputation. Stand up SMS as a first-class channel — including US compliance (TCPA, A2P 10DLC). Stand up web push and orchestrate cross-channel flows (email → SMS → push cascades). Measurement Implement incremental measurement with holdouts on every flow. We don't want activity reports — we want incremental revenue, attributable and defensible. Expected Outcomes First 3 Months Email deliverability restored to historical baseline. Reactivation campaign launched with measurable incremental conversion against a holdout. Differentiated renewal flows live for 1 / 3 / 6 month plans. Decision (signed off with engineering) on omnichannel platform: migrate to Maestra or alternative. First 6 Months SMS and web push live as ongoing production channels in lifecycle flows. Measurable lift in Reg→Purchase conversion via paywall-abandonment and post-registration triggered sequences. Measurable lift in month-1 rebill rate via differentiated and intervention flows. Add-on attach rate (Resume Review, Resume Builder) materially up via CRM-driven sales sequences. Per-flow incremental revenue reported weekly via proper holdout methodology. 12 Months CVM channel contributing as a top-3 incremental revenue source for the company. Cross-channel lifecycle strategy (email + SMS + web push + iMessage/RCS as those channels mature in the US) live and documented. Process documentation and tooling stable enough to remove key-person risk. We keep our hiring process quick and simple: HR Introduction Call Team Interviews Challenge Reference Check (with three prior managers) Requirements You're a Fit If You Have 3+ years operating CVM/lifecycle programs on the US market specifically. US b2c subscription. This is non-negotiable — US deliverability, US carriers, US consumer behavior, US compliance. 5+ years total in CRM / lifecycle / CVM, with at least one stint owning the function end-to-end (not just executing). Hands-on operating experience with an enterprise omnichannel platform — Maestra strongly preferred; Braze, Iterable, Customer.io , or Klaviyo also relevant. Real, hands-on experience launching SMS as a marketing channel in the US (TCPA, A2P 10DLC, carrier compliance — not "I worked with a vendor who handled it"). Real, hands-on experience launching web push and measuring its lift. SQL good enough to pull your own segments and validate your own data. A subscription-business orientation: you think in LTV/payer, payback period, retention curves, and cohorts — not in opens and clicks. A track record of measurable incremental revenue from CRM, ideally validated through holdout. Bias toward action. We operate as a tiny team; you'll need to ship faster than you plan. Nice to Have Experience migrating off a damaged email domain. Experience in job search, career, HR-tech, or adjacent consumer subscription verticals (EdTech, FinTech, dating, streaming). iMessage Business / RCS experience. Communication (speak English and Russian). Benefits Clear mandate and ownership from day one. You're the function, not a contributor to it. The economics are highly leveraged — even a 5-percentage-point lift on month-1 rebill is meaningful to the bottom line of the company. Direct work with the CMO, CEO, and Growth PM. No layers, no politics. A market where your work is directly visible to users searching for their next job — outcomes you can feel. $4000-7000/month + 38DaysOff.
