We have gone from 45 people to over 130 in a year while doubling revenue. Finance has kept pace, but the processes underneath were built for a much smaller company, and our first statutory audit is coming. This role exists to build the controls and reporting discipline a business at this scale should already have. 🎯 The Role We're hiring a Financial Controller to own Fanvue's financial operations and reporting, reporting directly to our VP Finance. This is hands-on. You will own statutory reporting, compliance and management accounting, while strengthening controls, improving reporting accuracy and taking cost out. It suits a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge under IFRS, commercial instincts, and experience building finance processes that scale rather than inheriting ones that already work. You will have real influence on how the finance function is built, because much of it is still being built. 🚀 What You'll Do Lead the month-end and quarter-end close, delivering timely and accurate reporting Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and variance analysis Own statutory reporting and compliance under IFRS and UK GAAP Manage VAT filings, PAYE submissions and annual HMRC returns Maintain and optimise Xero and the wider finance stack, including Dext, Pleo and ApprovalMax Support annual audits and manage the relationship with external accountants Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and reporting processes Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and margin improvement Take on projects including R&D tax credit claims and system integrations 👀 Who You Are Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA 4 to 6 years post-qualification, ideally from Big Four, a regional practice, or high-growth tech or digital Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK statutory reporting Proficient in Xero and comfortable with finance automation tools Experienced with VAT and HMRC compliance Comfortable with consolidations and multi-currency accounting Strong analytically, precise on detail, and proactive rather than reactive At ease in a fast-moving, hands-on environment Nice to have Experience in the creator economy, a marketplace, a subscription platform or fintech Exposure to R&D tax credits, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting ✨ You'll Thrive Here If You want to build the finance function rather than run one someone else designed You would rather fix the process than work around it for another quarter You like being close to commercial decisions instead of reporting on them afterwards You are comfortable being the person who says the number is wrong, and then finding out why ⚠️ You'll Struggle Here If You want established processes, a settled close calendar and a team already in place You would rather specialise deeply than cover a broad surface You need someone senior to define the controls before you can implement them You are uncomfortable with a business that changes shape faster than the reporting can keep up 🌍 Why Join Fanvue? Sunday Times Best Places to Work, two years running. We don't just say we have great culture, we prove it A genuine chance to shape the finance function of a company growing this fast Report directly to the VP Finance with real exposure to strategic decision-making Fanvue supports hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans globally. Co-working : If you're not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend. The role ElevenLabs runs a deliberately lean finance team across 10+ legal entities and 40+ countries. The stack is built around NetSuite, Stripe, Ramp, Deel, HiBob and Pigment, with a BigQuery/dbt warehouse underneath. We want a close where people review exceptions and agents handle the rest. You'll own that stack, from architecture and integrations to controls and vendors. This is a builder role, not a ticket queue. Run NetSuite end to end. That covers multi-subsidiary setup, chart of accounts and segments, scripting and workflows, release management, and roles and segregation of duties as we build toward public-company controls. Own the integration layer: Stripe, Ramp, Deel and HiBob into NetSuite, and NetSuite into the warehouse. Month-end should reconcile by design instead of by hand. Lead selection and rollout of new systems, including usage-based billing and equity administration. You'll also handle the finance setup of every new entity. Build with AI, alongside our Automations and Data teams. Examples include agents and automations for invoice coding, people-cost reconciliations and accounting requests. Be the systems voice in finance decisions on new pricing models, new geographies and audit readiness. Requirements You've administered a multi-entity NetSuite OneWorld instance yourself, including SuiteScript/SuiteQL, saved searches, roles and releases. You've owned an ERP or billing implementation or migration end to end, and you know how Stripe data flows into the ERP and into revenue recognition. You build integrations, through iPaaS or code, that reconcile and alert when something breaks, and you're comfortable in SQL. You understand R2R, P2P and O2C and the controls behind them, and you can work with accountants, engineers and auditors in the same week. You work AI-first: tools like Claude Code or Cursor are part of your day, and you automate a workflow before you staff it. Bonus: experience with Ramp, Pigment, Metronome or another usage-billing platform, Deel/HiBob, or n8n, or dbt/BigQuery; SOX or ITGC work at a pre-IPO or public company. Growth Potential We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role: Lead a Finance Systems & Automation team as the company scales. Location This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Europe, with the ability to operate in CET timezones required. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in Warsaw and London. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.
