Social & Follower - Product Manager
Full TimeOn-siteMid

We're an Amsterdam-based team of 100 (and counting), with 25+ nationalities and hundreds of thousands of kilometers under our collective travel belts. What we have in common, beyond very well-worn passports, is this: We want to change the way people travel. That's exactly what we're doing, with the app that lets you plan, track, and relive every trip. Polarsteps has over 20 million users already. For us, this is just the beginning. Your expedition: Product & Growth This role is about the heartbeat of Polarsteps, the social layer that keeps travelers connected to the people who care about their journeys. You'll own the Social & Follower experience. Your users are followers & travelers; think about features that help travelers share what they're experiencing and help followers stay close from a distance. You are responsible for the engagement mechanics; think about how to make followers feel involved, not just informed, turning a passive audience into a real homefront community. While innovating on this engagement, you will also be owning one of the most important growth loops of our business: the social viral loop. Here you'll be working closely working together with other teams that use the share flow, while also closely collaborating with our Growth & Marketing team who are in contact with resources like our Polarsteps Pioneers . The social viral loop is one of Polarsteps' core growth engines, and it deserves both love (features that make sharing feel fun and effortless - like our route sharing feature ) and brains (the thinking to optimize the numbers behind it). This is a role for someone who gets excited about optimizing the % in a growth loop and, in parallel, wants to grow product strategy skills on an important part of the travel experience while delivering a great experience to users. Your itinerary What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. You will: Own the Social & Follower experience end-to-end, from sharing functionality and growth loops to follower engagement features, likes, comments, and trip interaction. Drive growth for key metrics: MAU, sharing rates, and social engagement, setting the bar and holding yourself to it. Design and run experiments to validate ideas fast. You won't guess when you can test. Work hand-in-hand with Growth & Marketing to align product initiatives with acquisition and retention goals, no silos, just shared wins. Translate messy, complex problems into small, testable stories, making outcomes clear for everyone on the team. Celebrate the small wins as much as the big ones. Incremental progress is still progress. The equipment in your backpack What we're hoping you'll bring with you. ✅ 5+ years of PM experience, ideally with time spent in a Growth PM role ✅ Genuinely data fluent; you move from hypothesis to experiment to decision without losing momentum. You treat every dataset as a chance to get sharper, not just to confirm what you already know. ✅ A solid understanding of UX/UI and creating a great (app) experience to drive product growth ✅ Experience working on app-first consumer products (B2C is your world) ✅ Growth and marketing-minded, you understand funnels, loops, and what makes people come back ✅ Humble, collaborative, and energized by team wins, this role doesn't work in a silo ✅ Bonus: experience with social or community features, or products where sharing is core to the experience 1st class extras Some cool things to make the journey extra sweet. Salary range: Between EUR 70.000 - 80.000 (medior level) and EUR 85.000 - 95.000 (senior level) gross per year incl 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours/week). Where you land in the range depends on your experience and skills, to be evaluated during the interview process. Equity: You'll be able to participate in our Polarsteps SAR Plan A yearly free flight or train ride to a random location! Give our Teleporter a spin here. A shiny MacBook to work your magic on. Hybrid working, our way. Work from home and the office, we ask everyone to be in the office 2 days a week. It's how we stay flexible, focused, and meaningfully connected in person. An extensive home office set-up, everything from noise-canceling headphones to a standing desk. 30 days of vacation (for adventures or sitting on the couch, it's up to you). Two paid Culture Days for days that are important to you but not recognized by the official Dutch calendar. The option to switch up your Zoom background by working from another country for up to 8 weeks a year. A personal development budget for that curious mind of yours! A pension plan to help you save for those around-the-world retirement trips. Delicious daily team lunches. Awesome monthly parties, as well as team trips away. A lively office in downtown Amsterdam, with travel costs reimbursed. Free Polarsteps Travel Books to contain all your far-flung adventures. At Polarsteps, we believe the best products are built by people as diverse as the travelers using our apps! That's why we specifically encourage people underrepresented in the tech industry to apply for a role with us. Because we believe that diversity, be it age, race, sexual orientation, physical ability, ethnicity, or gender identity, makes both the world and the workplace better. Think this is the path for you? Looking for a new adventure? You've come to the right place. We're an Amsterdam-based team of 100 (and counting), with 25+ nationalities and hundreds of thousands of kilometers under our collective travel belts. What we have in common, beyond very well-worn passports, is this: We want to change the way people travel . That's exactly what we're doing, with the app that lets you plan, track, and relive every trip. Polarsteps has over 20 million users already. For us, this is just the beginning. Want to know more about us? Here you go. Your expedition: iOS at Polarsteps We're a small team, doing big things. If you haven't seen our app yet, go ahead and check it out, you'll see that we care (a lot) about providing a seamless, top-quality user experience for every one of our travellers. And it is this that has got us ratings of 4.8 and 4.7 on the app stores (where we've been featured multiple times). But it doesn't stop there, not only did Google create this awesome video about us but we've been mentioned in two of Apple's WWDC keynote speeches. And we're one of the top 26 apps for 2026 according to Apple! We've got an impressive past but we're even more excited for the future, and the impact you can make from day one is huge, with everything you ship affecting millions of users. Even with that in mind, we believe in truly giving our team members the freedom they need to craft to perfection while encouraging a practical mindset to avoid under or over-engineering mishaps. We are seeing an enthusiastic and accelerated growth of the travel industry, and with that comes both opportunities and growing pains (especially in the complex, multi-layered travel domain). So, if on top of the challenges inherent to feature development, you enjoy thinking about the performance and scalability aspects of a platform, you're in for a lot of fun with us. Your itinerary What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. You will: Lead and mentor a team of highly qualified, high performing iOS engineers. Through your leadership strengths, make a difference in creating a high performing team that is highly engaged and collaborative. Partner with Jimmy, our iOS Tech Lead, to balance technical excellence with strong people leadership across the iOS team. Work with our iOS engineers on all things related to our app. Spend approximately 40% of your time leading our iOS discipline, and 60% in the role of a senior engineer working on our app. Have daily interactions with product managers, designers, other engineers, and the rest of our team - we believe in a deeply collaborative environment. Proactively improve our app's maintainability, resiliency, and extensibility, addressing technical debt when needed or even better, preventing it when it makes sense. The equipment in your backpack What we're hoping you'll bring with you. You've led teams of 3/4 or more engineers for 2 or more years. True "on the ground" experience with leading and mentoring engineers: helping your teammates grow, thrive, and do their best work, while keeping the team atmosphere collaborative and positive. You've seen the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful side of people leadership, and you are excited to continue in that journey. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and an absence of fear when it comes to tackling big challenges in UI, architecture, or refactoring that 5-year-old piece of legacy code. A strong iOS development background, we work with Swift, but we still have some legacy Objective-C code, so we would love it if you are also familiar with that. Extensive experience with large apps published in the App Store. In-depth knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI and experience building complex user interfaces. Experience with writing and debugging multithreading code. We use GCD, Combine, and the latest Swift Concurrency. Experience using Xcode instruments to optimize app performance and memory consumption. Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. We use Fastlane and Github actions. Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex) to improve development speed, code quality, and debugging efficiency. 1st class extras Some cool things to make the journey extra sweet. Salary range: Between EUR 100.000 - 115.000 gross per year incl. 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours/week). Equity: You'll be able to participate in our Polarsteps SAR Plan. A yearly free flight or train ride to a random location! Give our Teleporter a spin here . A shiny new MacBook to work your magic on. Hybrid working, our way. Senior Product Manager, SMB e-commerce Growth
Full TimeOn-siteSenior
sqlconcreteklaviyoonboarding

About us Founded in 2019 and part of Y Combinator's 2020 cohort, Photoroom is the leading visual solution for e-commerce. We've raised Series B funding and reached 300+ million users worldwide, processing over 5 billion images annually and serving both small businesses and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our mobile app, web platform, and API. We're a team of 100+ passionate builders giving e-commerce businesses superpowers to create visuals that help them grow, making the hardest parts of selling online disappear. We focus on craft, innovation, and collaboration to create exceptional impact for e-commerce businesses worldwide. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, SMB E-commerce Growth to own activation, monetization, and retention for our SMB e-commerce segment across the Photoroom mobile and web apps. This is a growth role: you'll own the levers that turn sign-ups into retained subscribers, and the growth-led features that move them. From paywalls to pricing experiments and onboarding and discovery flows, you'll partner closely with User Acquisition on the handoff from paid to product, and with the core SMB product team on what gets built next. Location: Paris, we offer relocation support (Hybrid About the role Own a real slice of the growth funnel. Activation, paywall, pricing, or retention: you'll lead a squad and own a specific number end-to-end, deciding what gets tested, what gets built, and what gets killed. Move the metric, not just the backlog. Run a high-velocity experimentation program across web and mobile funnels. Ship A/B tests weekly, and bigger feature bets when the data calls for them. Find the insight, then build the feature. The best growth work is spotting why users drop off and shipping the change that fixes it. You'll do both. Work across web and mobile. Mobile and web funnels behave differently (App Store vs. card-on-file, push vs. email). You'll own both, and partner closely with the User Acquisition team on the handoff from paid to product. Use data to decide, not to justify. Pull and interpret data yourself, form hypotheses, measure what shipped, and call what's next. You won't need to wait around for someone else to run the query. About You You've moved real numbers on a subscription product. Five to eight years as a PM, with concrete activation, monetization, or retention wins you can name with the KPI, the change, and the percentage impact, owned by you, not by a team you sat on. You've worked on something with recurring revenue. Whether B2B SaaS, B2C subscription, or B2B2C, as long as your work was tied directly to revenue your experience will give you a leg up. Pure marketplace or pure free-product backgrounds will struggle here. You know how SMB sellers buy. You understand how SMB e-commerce sellers discover, evaluate, and adopt utility SaaS, the kind of motion behind Shopify, Canva, Klaviyo, Stripe, Klarna, Gorgias, Recharge, Loop, Wix, or Squarespace. You think in funnels. You understand activation curves, paywall psychology, trial design, and the difference between credit-based, feature-gated, and seat-based pricing, and you have opinions on which works where. You build with AI. You use Claude or equivalent to automate recurring tasks, and can explain how you set it up to help you ship faster. You're data-fluent. Comfortable with SQL and an analytics platform like Amplitude or Mixpanel; you build and interpret your own funnel without waiting for a data scientist, and you've shipped a high volume of A/B tests personally in the last 12 months. You thrive in small teams with high autonomy. You can ship without being managed, and can operate in a fully remote, async-first environment that offers no scaffolding around you. Nice to have: experience on both web and mobile funnels; familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem (app store, connect flows, merchant personas) or a comparable e-commerce platform; entrepreneurial experience (you've started, built, or run something). If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging We're committed to enabling everyone to feel included and valued at work. We believe our company and culture are strongest when composed of diverse experiences and backgrounds. That's also why we have flexible working hours, trust people to work in a hybrid environment, and extended parental leave. All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to age, color, family, gender identity, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. We're a team of 100+ passionate builders giving e-commerce businesses superpowers to create visuals that help them grow, making the hardest parts of selling online disappear. We focus on craft, innovation, and collaboration to create exceptional impact for e-commerce businesses worldwide. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the self-serve product experience for our SMB customers: small to medium brands selling on Shopify and beyond. The proposition for this segment is unbuilt, the squad is yours to shape, and you'll own the slice of ARR that comes with it. Working closely with engineers, designers, and AI researchers, you'll decide what gets built, why, and how it ships Location: Paris, hybrid 3 days in the office. We offer relocation support About the role Own a real slice of the self-serve product. From idea to shipped feature, you will build and execute the roadmap that solves problems for our users. Define the problem before the solution. Sharpen the user problem, then partner with design and engineering to ship work that feels effortless. Turn AI capabilities into products people want. Work hand-in-hand with our researchers and engineers to convert new model capabilities into shipped features that move usage and revenue. Stay close to the user. Talk to e-commerce sellers every week, and feed what you hear directly into roadmap decisions. Use data to decide, not to justify. Pull and interpret data yourself, form hypotheses, measure what shipped, and call what's next. You won't need to wait around for someone else to run the query. About You You've shipped products you can defend in detail. Five+ years as a PM, with multiple launches where you can name the user problem, what you owned personally vs. the team, and the measured outcome. You've built B2B SaaS for self-serve customers. You know the mechanics of self-serve growth, retention, and pricing, not just enterprise sales cycles. AI has reshaped how you work. You use Claude or equivalent every day, for prototyping, testing with users, or automating the parts of the job that used to fill your calendar. The value you bring sits in strategy and direction, not in writing tickets. You have demonstrable product taste. You can show specific work where the details matter and explain the calls you made, including the ones you'd make differently now. You create clarity from ambiguity. Given a fuzzy problem, you take action rather than waiting for direction: you structure it, decide what matters, and move. You're data-fluent. You pull, interpret, and challenge data yourself, and use it to form a point of view rather than confirm one. You thrive in small teams with high autonomy. You can ship without being managed, and can operate in a fully remote, async-first environment that offers no scaffolding around you. Nice to have: experience building creative tools or any product where craft and visual quality matter; an understanding of photography or videography; entrepreneurial experience (you've started, built, or run something). Product Engineer | Design Engineering Knowledge
Full TimeOn-siteMid
pythonllmgitcadmechanical engineeringmanufacturing+3

Product Engineer | Design Engineering Knowledge Location: Cambridge (UK), hybrid with up to 2 remote days per week Team: Product Start date: ASAP About Neural Concept Neural Concept is the engineering intelligence platform used by leading manufacturers in automotive, aerospace, and energy. We combine geometric and physics AI with LLM-based agents so engineering teams can move from customer requirements to validated designs in a fraction of the usual time. About the role Design decisions depend on information that lives outside the CAD model: customer requirements, design rules, manufacturing and assembly constraints, and cost targets. This information is spread across specification documents, handbooks, ERP systems, requirements management tools, and system models. Engineers gather it by hand, often late in the process, and conflicts surface at design reviews or on the production line. We call the capability that closes this gap Design Engineering Knowledge. It connects the design to the information ecosystem around it, so requirements, constraints, and trade-offs are available to engineers and AI agents while they work on the design itself. As a Product Engineer, you will build this capability. Requirements are the first focus area: extracting them from customer specifications and requirements management systems, structuring them, and keeping them traceable. You will then extend the same foundation to design rule checks, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA), and Design for Cost, and connect it to the enterprise systems where this knowledge already lives. You will work with the Product Manager, solution engineers, and customer engineering teams, as the primary developer from the first customer conversation to the version running in production. What you will do Build the requirements foundation: ingest customer specifications and RFQ packages, extract requirements with LLM and agent-based pipelines, and keep each one traceable to its source document and page. Extend this foundation to design rules, DfM, DfA, and Design for Cost, turning standards, handbooks, and company know-how into constraints that software and agents can use. Bring requirements, constraints, and trade-offs into the design workflow, so engineers can check a design against them at any stage and see which ones apply to the part they are working on. Build integrations with the systems around the design: requirements management systems, ERP (cost, materials, and supplier data), and system design and MBSE tools for architecture and system-level requirements. Design the data model that links requirements, rules, and constraints to parts, design parameters, and simulation results. Create evaluation sets and quality metrics with customers, so extraction and checking accuracy is measured and improves with every release. Design human-in-the-loop review flows where engineers validate and edit AI output, with versioning and a full audit trail. Spot recurring patterns across customers and turn them into reusable components of the Neural Concept platform. Who you are Must have Experience building and shipping production Python software in fast-moving, cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience with LLM applications in production: structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, and evaluation. Experience integrating with enterprise systems through APIs and data models, for example ERP, PLM, or requirements management tools. Experience with document processing, such as PDF parsing, OCR, or information extraction. Strong software practices: testing (pytest), CI, packaging, code review, and git. A product mindset. You talk to users, understand the problem before writing code, and ship in small, measurable steps. Clear, concise communication with both customer engineers and internal teams. Based in Cambridge (UK) or willing to relocate. Nice to have Background in mechanical engineering or physics, with exposure to DfM, DfA, or design-to-cost practices. Familiarity with requirements engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE, SysML). Experience working with CAD data or geometry processing. Experience with vision-language models, vector databases, or search ranking. What you get Ownership of a product capability that customers use in real engineering programs, with direct access to the engineers who use it. A competitive salary and rewarding opportunities as we continue to scale. A collaborative, multicultural team where your work is visible and recognized. Colleagues who share knowledge freely and support each other. A hybrid model and flexible hours. We focus on results and trust you to organize your time. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment where you can thrive. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
