Revenue Engineering builds the platform that measures how customers use Datadog and turns that measurement into usage and cost data they can act on. Every product Datadog ships is metered here. Every customer who wants to see which team, service, or business unit drove their usage sees it through this layer. As a Staff Product Manager for Metering and Cost Attribution , you will own product direction for that platform. You will set the standard for how usage is measured, attributed, and presented across Datadog. The role starts with tagging: the mechanism customers use to attribute usage to owners inside their organization, and the foundation that cost allocation, chargeback, quotas, and governance build on. From there you will shape the metering capabilities that new pricing and packaging models draw on, and extend the platform's speed and scale as Datadog's portfolio grows. Over time you will own the vision and roadmap for a usage platform used by every team at Datadog and relied on by every customer. The usage layer is the system of record for consumption, and it is what billing draws from. What you own is the path from usage events to billable output, along with the consumption models, cost attribution, and usage analytics that customers and their finance teams use to understand their spend. You will partner closely with the billing platform team across that boundary. Usage and cost attribution reach across a broad portfolio of billable metrics, several regions, and customers organized into parent and child organizations and reseller hierarchies, and they surface in units and in dollars, in-app, through the API, and in agentic workflows. Designing for that range means making deliberate choices about granularity, timeliness, and flexibility, and holding those choices steady across the many teams that build on them. This is a highly visible individual contributor role spanning several engineering teams, every product vertical that emits billable telemetry, and partners in Sales, Support, and Finance. What You'll Do: Set product direction for metering and attribution by defining the problems and outcomes that matter from usage events through billable output, holding a multi-quarter view of how the platform should evolve, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams to sequence work into phases that deliver clear customer value along the way. Own the tagging model as a customer-facing product , giving customers a consistent way to define tags across every product, translating those tags into granular usage and cost breakdowns wherever they surface, and designing how customers adjust and reconstruct attribution when their tagging changes. Define the metering and rating capabilities that pricing and packaging depend on , working ahead of launches on usage aggregation, unit definitions, commitments, included usage, and overage, so that the metering platform stays ahead of Datadog's commercial needs. Act as the subject matter expert for metering and cost attribution across Datadog , setting the standard that product verticals build against when they bring a new SKU into usage attribution, aligning engineering, Cloud Cost Management, Support, Sales, and Finance on a single cost allocation model, and mentoring product managers taking on metering work in their own areas. Own the quality standard for usage data , translating what customers need in accuracy, timeliness, and auditability into product requirements and service objectives, keeping measured usage, attribution, and billing consistent with one another, and producing the sizing and impact analysis that engineering leadership and pricing partners need to resource the work. Build agentic capabilities on top of usage , surfacing an unexpected change in consumption early, explaining which teams and services drove it, and recommending what the customer can do next. Own the data contracts and interfaces that let agents across Datadog reason about usage. Anticipate market movement in cost allocation and cost governance , tracking how FinOps practice, cloud provider primitives, and specialist vendors are evolving, shaping Datadog's investment in response, and engaging customers directly through preview programs, design partnerships, and industry forums. Who You Are: A strong systems thinker : you can follow cause and effect from telemetry intake through metering, aggregation, attribution, and the bill, you reason about unit economics and cost-to-serve alongside customer experience, and you hold the throughline as scope evolves across quarters. Fluent in data models and pipelines : you are at home in the concepts that usage data depends on, including event pipelines, usage aggregation, cardinality, deduplication, backfills, and processing latency, and you understand how they shape what a customer can be shown. A cross-org synthesizer : you read across engineering teams, Support, Sales, Finance, and product verticals, and turn diffuse signals into a defensible product position. Rigorous about quality : you treat accuracy in usage and cost data as a product standard you personally own, and you know how to balance investment in quality with new capability. Collaborative and opinionated : you build trust quickly with engineers, PM peers, designers, and commercial partners, you influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, and you adapt when new evidence emerges. Experienced in product management : you have 8+ years of Product Management experience, or a track record showing Staff-level capabilities in related software roles, with significant ownership of complex technical products. You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and breadth in platform work where the scope shapes itself over multiple quarters. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Nice to Have: Experience with high-cardinality telemetry and the cost and pricing tradeoffs it creates. Experience with usage-based or consumption-based monetization, including metering, rating, and cost allocation. Familiarity with usage-based billing infrastructure such as Metronome, Orb, m3ter, Amberflo, Zuora, or Stripe Billing, or with FinOps tooling such as CloudZero, Vantage, or Finout. Experience owning a platform capability consumed by many internal product teams, including the adoption and onboarding motion that goes with it. Experience with pricing and packaging, and comfort reasoning about margin and cost-to-serve alongside a packaging change. Exposure to the FinOps Foundation framework or the FOCUS specification, and to chargeback, showback, and tag governance at enterprise scale. Benefits and Growth: High income earning opportunities based on individual performance New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups) Free, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+, competitive global benefits Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog. Datadog is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to shape strategically important products across Core Pillars. The researcher's initial focus will be Agent Console, an emerging product area helping teams understand and improve the performance, usage, cost, reliability, and business value of AI agents. As priorities evolve, the role may support other product areas within Core Pillars. You'll establish a foundational understanding of our users while supporting product and design decisions happening today. This is a high-autonomy individual contributor role for someone who thrives in technically complex, quickly evolving environments and wants to build a durable research program and not simply execute a queue of studies. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What you'll do: Build and own an ongoing research program across Core Pillars, beginning with Agent Console and spanning foundational discovery, product evaluation, and post-launch learning. Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to identify consequential decisions and conduct focused mixed-methods research using qualitative and quantitative evidence. Develop a strong understanding of AI agents, complex technical workflows, and enterprise users so you can identify meaningful questions and engage credibly with customers and partners. Develop a clear point of view from the evidence, influence product strategy and design, and remain involved through implementation and measurement. Advance how research is practiced by using AI-assisted workflows, connecting qualitative insight with behavioral data, building reusable knowledge, and enabling partners to conduct focused research. Who you are: You can independently own a meaningful portfolio of research from opportunity identification through execution, decision-making, and follow-through. You have deep qualitative research skills and can confidently use product telemetry, surveys, and other quantitative evidence. You connect research to product decisions and business outcomes, and you stay involved long enough to understand whether the intended results were achieved. You use AI thoughtfully in your research practice and can explain how it has improved the speed, scale, quality, or impact of your work. You can quickly learn complex technical domains and conduct effective research with enterprise and technical users. You communicate clearly, build trusted partnerships, and influence stakeholders with a practical, evidence-grounded point of view. Nice to have: Experience researching AI products, developer tools, observability, infrastructure, or other complex B2B software is a strong plus. Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply. Benefits & Growth: Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space Continuous career development and pathing opportunities for internal mobility Intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Free global mental health benefit through Spring Health Generous global benefits Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog. #LI-Hybrid Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. As the Senior Product Manager for Chat, Video and Collaboration Integrations, you will own and lead the development of integrations that connect Datadog with the tools engineers use every day, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Zoom, Google Meet, ServiceNow, Jira and Linear. You will ensure that teams can receive alerts and notifications, collaborate in channels and meetings, take action on Datadog data, and manage tickets with bi-directional syncing between Datadog and external platforms. Products across Datadog, including Incident Response, Security, Alerting, and Bits AI, use these integrations to meet teams in their existing workflows. Linking these tools with Datadog streamlines communication, accelerates issue resolution, and enhances system visibility. These integrations also support Datadog's agentic initiatives by giving agents like Bits AI real time context from Slack, Teams, meetings, and tickets, enabling them to understand events and act where teams work. We are looking for an experienced product manager who will engage with some of the world's leading tech organizations, as well as our partners, to gain a deep understanding of their chat and collaboration needs. You will set the vision for the platform, drive the development of new capabilities, including agentic workflows grounded in real-time context, and identify new integrations as customer needs evolve. What You'll Do Own the strategy and roadmap for Datadog's chat (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat), video (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and collaboration (ServiceNow, Jira, Linear and others) integrations, end-to-end. Build integrations as a platform: frameworks, APIs and guidelines that let product teams across Datadog ship great chat, video and collaboration experiences without starting from scratch. Standardize how Datadog issues and tickets sync bi-directionally across external work management systems like ServiceNow and Jira. Integrate AI capabilities across collaboration tools using real-time contextual data from chats, meetings, and tickets to automate actions. Deliver scalable enterprise management features, including identity mapping, administrative governance, and security controls. Partner with PMs across Datadog to plan joint OKRs and decide where to invest each quarter. Talk to customers constantly, from fast-moving startups to the largest enterprises. Turn what you learn into crisp PRDs, design partnerships and prioritized roadmaps. Support Sales, Solutions and Customer Success on strategic deals and migrations, and equip them to sell the integration story. Define and track adoption, engagement and revenue-influence metrics. Make roadmap bets and be ready to defend them. What You'll Bring 5+ years of product management experience shipping technical B2B SaaS products, including ownership of a product area with multiple engineering teams. Deep experience with integrations, platforms or developer-facing APIs, ideally on chat or collaboration surfaces (Slack, Microsoft Teams) or ITSM / work-management systems (ServiceNow, Jira). A track record of driving roadmaps across organizational boundaries: aligning many stakeholders with competing needs without losing speed or focus. Experience working with strategic technology partners, or a clear point of view on how to build partner relationships that move a product forward. Strong technical depth: you can work through webhooks, sync models, auth, rate limits and AI/LLM trade-offs with engineers. You don't need to code, but you can go deep. Enterprise instincts: you understand how large organizations run IT operations, and you've designed for their complexity without giving up simplicity for everyone else. Experience (or genuine interest) in developer platforms, observability, incident response, ITSM, or AI-assisted and agentic product experiences. Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication. You're comfortable presenting to executives, customers and partner leadership, on stage and in a working session. A bias for action in ambiguity. This is a high-impact area where the roadmap is yours to shape. Benefits and Growth High income earning opportunities based on individual performance New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing Sales training in MEDDIC and Command of the Message Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups) Free, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+, competitive global benefits Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
