Do work that matters. At AlertMedia , we help organizations protect their people, operations, and brand. Our modern Risk Intelligence and Response platform empowers teams to detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence. We believe building resilience should be simpler—and it starts with bringing critical information and workflows together in one unified platform. Our core values drive us in our important mission of keeping people safe & informed: We're humans not robots Customers always come first We work better together Simplicity is our strength Our reputation is priceless Hard work pays off As one of the fastest growing SaaS start-up companies in the nation, we're focused on finding the best talent and building the best team to continue accelerating our rapid growth to keep up with our demand. AlertMedia is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of new AI capabilities that help organizations coordinate complex critical-event response workflows. This person will take the product from zero to one—turning customer needs into trusted automation and partnering with Engineering and Design to rapidly prototype, ship, and scale new solutions. Who You Are: You have built products that turn scattered, manual work into something coordinated and dependable. You have watched capable people stitch together tools, tabs, and checklists by hand to get through a high-stakes process — and you have felt the pull to replace that friction with software that simply does the right next thing. You know the difference between automation that earns trust and automation that gets in the way. Now you want to do that at scale, for thousands of teams, on a product being built from the ground up. You are curious about how customers actually work rather than how they say they work, comfortable making decisions with imperfect data, and energized by taking a blank page and shipping something real. You are as interested in the operator's daily reality as you are in the roadmap that serves it. When a critical event unfolds, the hard part is rarely knowing that something happened — it is coordinating the many steps, people, and systems that have to move in the right order, quickly, and often all at once. AlertMedia is transforming how organizations turn response into action, and you will own how we build it. What You Get To Do Every Day: Customer and Market Understanding Develop deep expertise in the personas we serve — security, safety, business continuity, IT, and operations leaders, and the responders who execute when something goes wrong — including how their work is structured, staffed, measured, and escalated. Interview customers and prospects continuously. Run discovery conversations, workflow walk-throughs, and feedback sessions that produce specific problem statements rather than feature requests. Maintain a clear, current view of the problems we solve well today, the opportunities to solve problems better, and the problems we should be solving 12 to 24 months from now. Track industry trends, the automation and AI landscape, platform and integration changes, and the competitive field, and translate them into implications for our roadmap. Strategy, Prioritization, and Roadmap Ownership Own the roadmap for new AI capabilities: decide what we build, what we defer, and what we decline, with reasoning that stands up to scrutiny. Shape the strategy and positioning for a product that is still being defined and build the case for where it should go next. Balance business objectives, customer needs, and industry trends when sequencing work, and make the tradeoffs explicit to stakeholders. Define the problem sets and jobs to be done that anchor each initiative, so the team understands the outcome before it debates the solution. Working With Development and Design Partner with Engineering and Design to translate customer problems into specifications, acceptance criteria, and deliverable milestones the team can execute against. Break large initiatives into releasable increments that produce customer value early and inform what comes next. Stay close through delivery — grooming, scope decisions, testing, and launch readiness — and resolve ambiguity before it becomes rework. Prototyping With AI Tooling Use AI development and design tools such as Claude Code, Claude Design, and Codex to build working prototypes, pressure-test concepts, and put something tangible in front of customers in days rather than quarters. Treat prototypes as a research method: use them to invalidate weak ideas inexpensively and to sharpen strong ones before Engineering commits. Bring that fluency to the wider product team and raise the bar for how quickly we can move from idea to evidence. Measurement Define what success looks like before launch — adoption, time saved, workflow completion, reliability, retention impact, revenue contribution — and instrument for it. Analyze product usage data and customer outcomes after release, report honestly on what worked and what did not, and feed those findings into the next round of prioritization. Go-To-Market Enablement Work with Product Marketing to position new capabilities, shape messaging, and equip Sales, Customer Success, and Support to sell and support them with confidence. Translate product functionality into narratives and practical applications that customer-facing teams can use in real conversations. Lead internal training, demos, and Q&A sessions so the organization understands not just what shipped but why it matters to the people who use it. What You Bring To The Role: Required 5+ years of product management experience in B2B enterprise software, 2 at senior level, including owning a product or major product area end to end — discovery, delivery, and measurement. Experience taking a product or major capability from zero to one: defining the problem, shaping the concept, and shipping the first versions into customers' hands. Prior experience working on agentic and/or AI-native products — workflow automation, process orchestration, integration platforms, agentic tooling, or similar. A working understanding of how AI and LLM-based capabilities are designed into products, including where they add leverage and where they need guardrails. A systems mindset — you naturally think in terms of workflows, dependencies, triggers, and how the pieces of a process fit together. Strong analytical judgment and comfort making decisions from incomplete or conflicting information. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to hold a technical conversation with Engineering and a strategic one with an executive on the same day. Comfort with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product analytics software. A collaborative, no-ego approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Resourcefulness — you keep going when the path is not clear. Energetic, empathetic, and earnest, with a consistent record of delivering quality work on schedule. Familiarity with Agile delivery, APIs, system integrations, and data pipelines. Experience in critical event management, emergency communication, security, safety, or business continuity — or with the teams that run them. Experience with product enablement or go-to-market support. Location: Strong preference for Austin, TX candidates, but open to remote US based candidates. Please note that we currently do not hire candidates residing in the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future . Why this role matters: Our customers rely on us to help them keep their people safe and their business running. When we get it right, a response that used to take a dozen manual steps and several anxious people happens quickly and correctly — and a team gets to focus on the situation instead of the software. We are looking for someone who wants to build on that and make it possible for many more teams to respond well under pressure. If that is the mission you want to spend your time on, we would like to talk with you. Why you'll love working at AlertMedia: At AlertMedia, you won't just build your career — you'll be part of something meaningful, surrounded by people who genuinely care about the work and each other. Discord has a highly engaged community of millions of daily active users who use the platform for many different reasons, but there's one thing that nearly everyone does: play video games. Discord plays a uniquely important role in the future of gaming, and we are focused on making it easier and more fun for people to hang out before, during, and after playing games. Discord's mission is to give people the power to create space to find belonging in their lives. Every day, millions of people trust Discord to be a place where they can talk, spend time together, and build community. Keeping that space safe starts with teams like ours. Discord's Violent Actors Team, part of the broader Threat Operations organization within Trust & Safety, identifies and disrupts violent and extremist actors and networks. As Threat Investigations Team Lead, you will manage and develop a team of investigators and analysts responsible for detecting, investigating, and disrupting ongoing and emerging threats. You will be a player-coach: setting a high bar for investigative quality while staying close enough to the work to guide complex cases and incident response. You will help early-career investigators build their tradecraft, turn investigative findings into actionable intelligence, and collaborate with internal and external partners during high-risk incidents. You will report to the team's Senior Manager. This position is US-based and can be remote but if you live in the Bay Area, you're welcome to work from our beautiful SF office. #LI-Remote What You'll Be Doing Manage, coach, and develop a small team of investigators and analysts, setting clear expectations and providing timely, actionable feedback. Own the team's investigative quality, workload prioritization, queue health, and performance. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex, ambiguous, or high-risk investigations, helping the team make sound and well-documented decisions. Act as a player-coach: guide deep-dive network investigations, build the team's tradecraft across case development, network analysis, proactive detection, and intelligence production, and help the team identify new detection and disruption opportunities. Translate investigative signals and subject-matter expertise into recommendations about threat prioritization, policy gaps, and enforcement interventions. Coordinate with law enforcement, government, industry, and other external partners when investigations or incidents require external engagement. Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development while fostering an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable team culture. What You Should Have 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, investigations, incident response, or a related field, with at least 2 years of prior people-management experience. Deep expertise in at least one extremist or violent-threat-actor ecosystem, with the analytical flexibility to develop proficiency across new harm areas as priorities evolve. Demonstrated ability to coach investigators, raise quality standards, deliver constructive feedback, and support the growth of people at different stages of their careers. Strong judgment in ambiguous, fast-changing situations — including defining scope, proposing solutions, and driving work to completion with limited oversight — while balancing immediate harm reduction against policy, legal, operational, and company-risk considerations. Fluency with investigative and case-management tooling, and the ability to use data and detection signals to guide team priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex and sensitive subjects for non-expert audiences. A collaborative approach to cross-functional work, with the ability to build consensus and coordinate across teams, disciplines, and time zones. Bonus Points Experience supporting teams that regularly work with sensitive or potentially disturbing material. Additional language proficiency, particularly in languages relevant to high-harm threat-actor communities. Experience presenting complex threat findings to senior leaders or external audiences. This position is US-based and can be remote but if you live in the Bay Area, you're welcome to work from our beautiful SF office. The base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. This position will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Our core values drive us in our important mission of keeping people safe & informed: We're humans not robots Customers always come first We work better together Simplicity is our strength Our reputation is priceless Hard work pays off As one of the fastest growing software companies in the country, we're looking for a Sr Software Engineer with strong experience building AI development tools to help accelerate an AI-first development model that's already well underway. This role focuses on designing and extending the agents, skills, and automation that take on engineering work — and on steadily widening what they can own, from planning and implementation through code review and CI. Testing is part of that. So is clearing the friction that caps how much we can hand off: slow local environments, long feedback loops, manual steps between them. This is a hands-on engineering role with broad impact. You'll work closely with engineers across the organization to build AI tools, improve development workflows, and help teams adopt new ways of working that increase engineering productivity. Who you are: You are a software engineer first—you like writing code and making systems better You actively use AI tools in your daily development work and look for ways to push them further You're already operating in an AI-native engineering workflow. AI has fundamentally changed how you build software, not just how you write code You keep up with new AI capabilities and enjoy figuring out which ones are worth adopting You care about how other engineers work and want to make their jobs easier You're comfortable working across teams and incorporating feedback, even when it's conflicting You're opinionated but practical—you optimize for real improvement, not theoretical perfection You're willing to challenge existing workflows when they're slowing people down What you get to every day: Stay current on AI tooling and techniques and introduce changes that meaningfully improve productivity Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape and adopt AI-assisted workflows Design and build AI agents and skills used in the development process (e.g., test generation, code review assistance, CI feedback) Improve and modularize local development environments Improve developer experience by reducing friction in local development, testing, and CI workflows Build internal tools that remove friction from everyday development Drive adoption through collaboration and usefulness, not mandates What you bring to the role: Daily hands-on experience using modern AI coding tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar). Experience extending AI tooling rather than only consuming it — custom agents, skills, prompts, MCP servers, etc. Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience (6-8 years) Experience building systems or tools other engineers rely on This role is backend-leaning with full-stack responsibilities. Candidates should have strong backend engineering experience and be comfortable contributing across the stack Experience with Docker, local dev environments, and CI systems Familiarity with automated testing and test performance issues Strong proficiency in at least one backend-oriented language (Python preferred; JavaScript/TypeScript also considered). AWS and Postgres experience required The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment English proficiency (written and oral) is required Location: This position is remote based in Mexico. Must reside in Mexico and we have an office in Mexico City (Reforma area), if you're interested in going into the office. Not required, but optional. Sponsorship: AlertMedia does not sponsor. Must have the legal right to work in Mexico with sponsorship now and in the future. Why you'll love working at AlertMedia: Competitive Base Salary (Bi-Monthly payroll) Annual Company Bonus 100% Employer-Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Parental Leave Program Christmas Bonus (Aguinaldo) Generous Vacation and Holiday Policy Additional Vacation Bonus Monthly Work-from-Home Stipend All Necessary Equipment Provided: Laptop, monitor and accessories Recognition & Rewards: We celebrate wins big and small Language Immersion Program with employees spread out across the globe (English, Spanish, etc...depending on your interest) Continuous Learning & Growth: From mentorship and tech talks to personalized 1:1 career development sessions, we're deeply committed to investing in your professional journey Award Winning Culture: We're proud to be recognized as a BEST WORKPLACE FOR 10 YEARS IN A ROW The Work & People: We're passionate about the meaningful work we do—and even more grateful for the incredible people we get to do it with!
