Drawing & Package Control: Proven experience owning released drawing packages, managing structured bill of materials, and running engineering change order workflows. Early Stage Execution: Demonstrated success integrating manufacturing and assembly principles directly into active design reviews rather than conducting post-design audits. Language Skills: Professional proficiency in both English and French to work fluidly across design engineering and French-speaking production teams. What We Offer Direct ownership in defining the release and manufacturing transfer standards for high-performance defense airframes. Active collaboration with design engineers early in the development cycle where engineering decisions carry high leverage. The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission: Vinted Marketplace is Europe's leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life. Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces. Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members. Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Missions and activities of the position 1. Project phase – owner's engineer for Maintenance Represent Maintenance in every phase of new equipment projects (starting with the MRS1 cross-belt sorter), from design reviews to FAT, SAT, commissioning and ramp-up. For the sorter, whose design is already set, take over the installed system and optimise it after go-live. Work side by side with the OEM / integrator engineers: collect technical knowledge, challenge design choices, maintainability, access, spare-part strategy and the proposed maintenance plan before they are frozen. Define and verify the Maintenance acceptance criteria (documentation, training, spare parts, safety, availability targets). The Maintenance sign-off is mandatory: no handover to operations without it. Track and drive to closure the technical punch list and warranty issues raised during commissioning and the warranty period. 2. Technical file & spare parts Build and own the equipment technical file: as-built electrical and mechanical drawings, PLC and software versions, parameter backups, network architecture, safety documentation, OEM manuals. Create the asset hierarchy and criticality analysis in the CMMS. Define the critical spare-parts list (references, min/max stock, lead times) and keep it up to date. Reduce dependency on the OEM: identify and qualify second-source suppliers for critical parts, run compatibility tests and document equivalences. Propose spare-parts and supplier decisions to the Maintenance Manager; after an initial period, take these decisions autonomously within agreed limits, with the Maintenance Manager's validation. 3. Maintenance strategy & procedures Write and maintain preventive maintenance plans, corrective procedures and troubleshooting guides for the equipment family, based on OEM data, FMEA and field experience. Monitor equipment performance (availability, MTBF, MTTR, top failure modes), lead root-cause analysis on recurring or major failures and implement permanent corrective actions. Challenge the original design when needed and drive engineering changes: retrofits, drive and firmware updates, software or parameter optimisation, with the OEM and internal stakeholders. 4. Training & technical support Train the operational maintenance team (technicians and operatives) on the equipment, its software/HMI and the troubleshooting procedures; validate their autonomy level. Act as the level-2 / level-3 technical expert for the equipment family on site and remotely, across sites. 5. Escalation, vendor & SLA management Own technical escalations through to resolution: with the Tetris team (Vinted's internal tools and sorting logic) when the issue is on the software or data side, and with OEM / integrator support (SAV) when it is on the equipment side. Lead the diagnosis that tells which side an issue comes from (equipment, controls, Vinted software), with facts and data. Work within the after-sales and maintenance agreements already in place with OEMs: make the most of them day to day, monitor performance against SLAs and warranty terms, feed lessons learned into future renewals, and provide the technical evidence to the program managers, who own the contractual relationship. Prepare and lead technical review meetings with OEMs and integrators. 6. Safety & compliance Ensure the equipment and its maintenance comply with machine safety requirements (CE marking, safety functions, lock-out/tag-out) and site H&S standards. Support safety audits and regulatory inspections, and drive the resulting corrective actions to completion. Occasional responsibilities Take ownership of additional equipment families (e.g. conveyors, AMR fleets, Monk lines) once the cross-belt is stable. Support pre-project technical due diligence on new equipment (specifications, vendor benchmarks, maintainability review). Participate in the hiring and onboarding of maintenance technicians and future engineers. Interests, constraints, difficulties of the position High-visibility role on new strategic automation investments. Site-based in an operational warehouse, with regular presence on the shop floor. Regular travel to MRS1, OEM premises (FAT) and other Vinted Go sites, especially during commissioning. Day-based role, no on-call. Flexibility needed during commissioning, ramp-up and major incidents (possible early, late or weekend work). Needs to influence without authority: OEMs, integrators, IT and program management teams. Your profile Knowledge & experience Engineering degree (Master's / Bac+5) in automation, electrical, mechatronics or industrial engineering, or Bac+2/3 with equivalent proven experience. At least 3 years' experience, ideally 5 or more, as Equipment Engineer, Automation Engineer, Tool Owner or Maintenance/Reliability Engineer in a highly automated environment: parcel sortation and intralogistics, airport baggage handling, logistics or other automated industries. Automation background required. Proven involvement in at least one industrial equipment project from FAT/SAT to ramp-up, working with OEMs or integrators. Technical skills Able to read and diagnose complete PLC and HMI programs (Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell, Beckhoff) and to make controlled modifications; industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP). Drives (parameters, firmware), servo motors, sensors, scanners / DWS, pneumatics; reading electrical and mechanical schematics. Retrofit experience and component qualification (equivalence, compatibility testing) Safety PLCs and machine safety functions. Understanding of the interfaces between equipment controls, SCADA/WCS and IT systems. Reliability methods: FMEA, RCA (5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D), criticality analysis; CMMS and PM planning. Sortation equipment experience (cross-belt, tilt-tray, shoe sorters) is a strong plus. French electrical certification (habilitation électrique BR / B2V / BC) or ability to obtain it. Fluent French and professional English (OEMs and the Vinted Go network work in English). Behavioural skills Strong ownership: treats the equipment as their own, from design to end of life. Able to challenge OEM and integrator engineers constructively, with facts and data. Structured and disciplined in documentation. Good teacher: enjoys transferring knowledge to technicians. Calm and solution-oriented under production pressure; strong safety mindset. Please note: the main tasks and skills identified and noted in the function described above may need to evolve depending on the constraints and organisation specific to the company and its environment. They are, therefore, indicative and not contractual. Working at Vinted Individual learning budget Each year, you'll be given a learning budget (starting at €3,000), and a total of up to 10 working days over a 2-year period to support your personal and professional development. Equal opportunity We welcome applications from everybody, regardless of your background, identity, or life experiences. Job openings come with guides, not checklists. If you're excited about a role, but don't identify with every point in the 'About you' section, apply anyway – you might still be the perfect match! Kairos ProjectRemote (Fully Remote)yesterday
Full TimeFully RemoteMid$140,000 - $270,000 / Year
gogcpgcpdentalinsurancelogistics+2

Build and lead residential workshops that help exceptional people pursue high-impact work in AI safety, biosecurity, and policy. We're reviewing applications on a rolling basis. About Kairos Kairos is a nonprofit accelerating talent into AI safety and policy. In just over two years, we've trained 1,200+ people through our flagship programs: SPAR : The largest AI safety research fellowship, with 800+ mentees per round mentored by researchers from Anthropic, Redwood Research, RAND, MIT, the UK AI Security Institute, and others. Generator Residency : In partnership with Constellation, a platform for generalist talent to pitch, build, and ship projects that build capacity and infrastructure across the AI safety ecosystem, with advisors from OpenAI, AI Futures Project, METR, and more. Global Challenges Project : A workshop series introducing promising students to careers in AI safety and biosecurity, run several times a year across Oxford, Boston, and Berkeley. Pathfinder Fellowship : Helping grow the global network of AI safety university groups from a few dozen to nearly 100, with $9.5M in funding over the next two years to support their work. We see ourselves as a portfolio of highly impactful projects in a fast-evolving field. Over the next six months, we expect to double in size and launch several new initiatives addressing critical gaps in the ecosystem. The Role The Global Challenges Project (GCP) runs three-day residential workshops that help talented individuals explore careers in AI safety and biosecurity. Over the past few years, GCP has run dozens of workshops for 400+ students, mostly in Oxford, Boston, and Berkeley. GCP has a long and successful track record and became part of Kairos in early 2026. We're now expanding GCP into a full portfolio of workshops serving different audiences and career stages, with the ambition of becoming the leading fieldbuilding workshop organizer in AI safety and biosecurity. This means building new programs, new formats, and the systems to deliver reliably at scale. We're looking for a GCP Program Manager to build and lead at least two strands of our expanding workshop portfolio, reporting to Sam Glendenning, who leads the Global Challenges Project. You'll have broad ownership of your programs, from deciding what they should achieve and who they should serve through to delivering the workshops themselves. This includes outreach and marketing strategy, participant selection, guest recruitment, workshop design, team leadership, in-person delivery, and impact evaluation. This is an unusually hands-on role. You'll shape the strategy behind your programs, build the systems needed to run them effectively, and then lead them in person. Because we run our portfolio experimentally, individual programs may change or be discontinued, but this role is not tied to any single program. You'll own a portfolio that evolves as we learn what works. What You'll Do Own two or more GCP programs. You'll take responsibility for their strategy, design, delivery, and evaluation. Programs you may own include: Workshops for students newer to AI safety, for professionals considering a pivot into AI safety, or for accelerating people into politics or policy Workshop support for other organizations, from advice and coordination to running workshops on their behalf A high-impact format you propose (we're open to strong cases for new programs) Run programs experimentally. We're testing which of these programs offer the most value to the ecosystem. You'll experiment with both the format and purpose of your workshops, and be willing to discontinue programs that aren't working, even after investing significant time in them. Own outreach and participant selection. You'll develop marketing and outreach strategies, build strong applicant pools, and decide who will benefit most from attending each program. Build relationships and recruit guests. High-quality guests are central to the impact of our workshops. You'll proactively build relationships across the field and invite researchers, policymakers, funders, operators, and other experts to participate. Design excellent workshops. You'll develop the structure, sessions, content, and participant experience for each program, holding everything to a very high standard. Lead workshops in person. You'll give talks, introduce guests, advise participants, manage the team on the ground, and take responsibility for how well each workshop runs. Lead your program teams. We organize delivery program by program. You'll direct the work of the GCP team, interns, and volunteers on your programs (typically three to four people per workshop). Once the team grows, you'll likely line-manage one GCP team member and our interns. Measure impact and iterate. You'll collect structured feedback at every workshop, track participant outcomes over the following months, and use the evidence to improve, scale, or discontinue programs. Help GCP scale. You'll contribute to team-wide strategy, build operational structures and automation that let us expand without compromising quality, and help design and launch our internship program. Who You Are Experienced at running events. You've organized and delivered events such as workshops, conferences, or retreats, and you're comfortable making game-time decisions. Strong project delivery experience in complex in-person settings can substitute. Mission-aligned. You care deeply about how the development of advanced AI and biotechnology plays out, and you believe workshops can be a highly effective way to help talented people enter these fields. Good with people, and energized by workshops. Leading three-day residential events is central to this role. You'll need the energy to engage with participants and guests throughout while keeping the event running smoothly. Comfortable managing a small team. Within a year, you'll likely begin managing 2 or more people. Prior experience managing operational or programmatic teams is a strong plus. High agency. You'll have significant ownership over your programs, and we expect you to spot problems early, adapt when plans change, and fix things without waiting to be asked. Highly organized. You'll oversee several programs simultaneously, each with different workstreams, teams, and deadlines. You'll need strong systems for keeping everything on track. Familiar with the AI safety ecosystem. You know the major organizations and people in the field and understand how its parts fit together. You use that context to make good strategic decisions and to point participants toward the right opportunities. Familiarity with biosecurity or US policy is a plus, and matters more for some programs than others. Why Work With Us You'll work toward reducing risks from advanced AI and biotechnology, two of the most important challenges of our time. Both fields need far more talented people than they have, and our workshops move promising people into careers working on them. You'll build and develop your own programs, lead the teams delivering them, and see the results firsthand. GCP already has a strong brand, an excellent reputation, and a long track record. You'll build on one of the ecosystem's most successful workshop programs while joining a team with the ambition to become the leading workshop organizer in the space. You'll work closely with high-profile guests across AI safety and biorisk, developing a strong professional network. We're building a world-class team, so you'll be in good company. Work alongside people who've come to Kairos from METR, Coefficient Giving, Rethink Priorities, the UK AI Security Institute, and CEA who share your commitment to impact. What We Offer Salary : $140,000–$195,000 (baseline), $175,000–$245,000 (supported hubs, like London, DC, Boston, and NYC), or $195,000–$270,000 (San Francisco Bay Area), depending on experience, with potential for additional compensation for exceptional candidates Location : This is a remote role. We provide access to office space in San Francisco, Berkeley, London, or Boston, with optional coworking elsewhere. If you work from an AI safety office in one of these cities, we cover food, lunches, and office expenses. If you work from home, we cover home office expenses. We're a remote-first organization, but because of how the GCP team works, we have a preference for candidates within five hours of UK time. Our current team spans GMT-8 to GMT+1, and we'll gladly consider exceptional candidates elsewhere, including in the US. We may be able to sponsor visas for the UK or US, depending on individual circumstances, including but not limited to O-1A visas. We can't make guarantees regarding visa approval. Our Culture We're a small, high-trust team motivated by the urgent challenge of making advanced AI go well. We try hard to figure out where we're wrong, which means we say uncomfortable things to each other and change our minds fairly often. We value collaborative truth-seeking, a scout mindset, agility, and an alliance mindset with the broader ecosystem. We also believe meaningful work should be enjoyable. We support each other's well-being, celebrate wins, and maintain a healthy sense of humor even when the work is hard. Application Process We're reviewing applications on a rolling basis. Application form (10–20 mins) Take-home assignment (2–4 hours, paid) Interview (45 mins) Reference checks Work trial (3 days, paid) Offer If you're excited about this role but unsure whether you meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. About Us QuantWare is building the world's most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors. With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don't shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That's where you come in! We are looking for a Science Communications Manager to own how QuantWare explains its technology to the world. You will produce the whitepapers and technical narratives that make a genuinely new architecture legible to physicists, customers, analysts, and press; and you will be the person who makes sure every technical claim QuantWare puts into public is accurate and defensible. You'll work directly with our lead engineers to find the stories worth telling, and with the VP Marketing to get them in front of the right audiences. What you'll be doing Scientific Publication: Co-write and edit peer-reviewed papers and preprints with our R&D teams. Proposals & Grant Writing: Lead the technical writing on competitive proposals to government and funding agencies, working with technical leads, project managers and consortium partners. Technical Content Production: Create whitepapers, explainer videos, blog posts, website technical copy, and conference material. Story Development: Work with engineering leads to support the VP Marketing in identifying the technical themes worth building narratives around. Executive Support: Prepare technical material & briefings for investor/analyst calls, media appearances and keynotes for our CEO. Technical Accuracy & Framing: Own the language, framing, and factual defensibility of QuantWare's public-facing communication materials. Reporting line: You will report to the VP Marketing Your Profile Education & Experience: A Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a comparable technical field with 3+ years in technical or science communications, or a PhD with 2+ years of communications experience. Writing: Excellent writing skills and ability to make hard technical material simple - without making it wrong. Audience Instinct: You can tell what a physicist, an investor, or a journalist each need from the same underlying scientific story. Collaboration: You get energy from working with vastly different teams (R&D, Product, Management, Marketing). Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, embargoed material, and time pressure. Language: Fluent, publication-quality written English. Dutch is not required. Don't tick every box? Apply anyway! Research shows women often self-select out if they don't meet every requirement. Here's our take: nobody ticks every box. This is a description of our ideal candidate, not a filter. If most resonates and you're keen to learn the gaps, apply. We hire for trajectory, not perfection. What We Offer: At QuantWare, you'll be part of a high-performing team of world-class experts in an ambitious, fast-moving environment. From day one, you'll have the trust, tools, and support to do your best work. Here's what you can expect: Competitive salary - A salary that reflects the impact and importance of the role (and of course 8% holiday allowance) Pension that's built to last - A generous and future-proof pension plan that includes partner and dependent coverage. Flexibility built on trust - We focus on outcomes. Job Description: Sr. Project Manager Location: Remote, US Only About The Company: MustardSeed is a project management consulting firm that helps organizations execute complex programs in highly regulated industries. We work alongside clients in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, defense, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage, and other sectors where strong project leadership is essential. Our consultants become an extension of our clients' teams, providing project and program leadership, PMO support, and execution expertise that keeps critical initiatives moving forward. We are trusted to step into complex environments, build alignment across functions, and help organizations deliver with confidence. With operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, MustardSeed serves clients across international markets through a fully distributed team. We look for professionals who are collaborative, adaptable, and motivated by solving meaningful business challenges while making a measurable impact for our clients. About the Role: As a Sr. Project Manager at MustardSeed, you will be contributing to end-to-end project delivery within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality standards. You will contribute to a wide variety of different projects while maintaining a focus on project management best practices and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Ensure that communication within and between organizations involved in the various phases is occurring effectively, and that management and other stakeholders are kept informed of progress, as necessary. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while managing changes to project scope, project schedule, and project cost. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Perform project risk assessments, including, among others, the risk of exceeding the budget, not meeting schedules, and technology risks. Understand, assess, and embed the right delivery methodologies, considering the project and business constraints. Utilize appropriate Program Management Best Practices throughout the project duration. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Skills Required: Proven track record of delivery, ideally with at least 5 years in a project management role. Ability to think strategically and tactically about product, technical, and cross-functional issues. Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills. High-caliber organizational skills (e.g., attention to detail, multitasking, etc.). Proven leadership and experience in project management.
