Who We Are About Bridge We're creating an entirely new payments platform, built with stablecoins, to simplify global money movement. Bridge enables faster, cheaper payments and borderless access to dollars via stablecoins. Through our APIs, businesses can send and receive funds across borders faster and cheaper vs. SWIFT and other fiat-only rails. Our virtual accounts enable international consumers and businesses to easily access, store, and spend US dollars. Our payouts infrastructure enables platforms to disburse USD to anyone globally. We believe many trillions of dollars will move and settle through stablecoin payment rails. Bridge is pulling this future forward. We have a small team of people who have previously built financial infrastructure at some of the world's leading companies (Coinbase, Stripe, Square, Brex, Upstart, DoorDash, Airbnb), and each and every one of them chose Bridge because they fundamentally believe that stablecoins will be a critical piece of financial infrastructure that allows for the improvement of global money movement. About The Role As an early member of the Bridge engineering team, you'll have the autonomy to work on projects that are truly global in scale and aim to give customers access to products they've never had access to. Many of the use cases that we work on today didn't exist several months ago, and that's because our team is dedicated to constant improvement for our partners and end users. Our engineers have outsized ownership over projects, so if you're looking for increased autonomy working on a completely greenfield opportunity, Bridge is the place for you. Responsibilities Ship software to build out our suite of API products. We're an engineering and API-first company, and you'll learn first-hand and contribute towards building highly reliable, performant, and business-critical infrastructure serving thousands of developers across the globe. Take sole ownership of projects, oftentimes without the support of Product Management, and liaise both internally with teams like Legal and Compliance and externally with our partners and developers. Look for constant improvements to our product offerings with the explicit goal of improving the experience for our partners and end users. Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation. Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes for the team and our broader org. Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum Requirements We're open to hiring engineers at various levels of seniority (SWE through Senior Staff), but at a minimum we're looking for somebody with 5+ years of experience. Experience building backend systems with SQL databases. Experience with frameworks such as Rails, Django, Express, or equivalent is a bonus. An enlarged sense of ownership and the ability to lead and influence the design and direction of our products An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment A growth mindset, constant curiosity, and fearlessness to dive into the unknown An ability to write maintainable, well-tested, modular code, but also be pragmatic about moving fast Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear technical documentation Preferred Qualifications Past experience working on crypto or financial products a plus, and while not required, we do look for people who are very passionate about building in this space Experience with building API products a plus, but not required Experience working with blockchain or distributed systems a big plus Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Working remotely at Stripe A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live. Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $173,000 - $259,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. We look forward to hearing from you. At Stripe, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. At Stripe, we welcome diverse perspectives and people who think rigorously and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. Join us. Genau da setzt deine Rolle an. Kein Muss: Vorkenntnisse in Photovoltaik. Dann lass uns reden. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
Description QuantumDiamonds is building the world's first commercial quantum sensing tools for chip failure analysis. As our Data Science Intern in the Data Science & Machine Learning team in Pre-Development, you work on new ways to analyze and process the data of our Quantum Diamond Microscope (QDm): magnetic field images of real chip packages, measured in our lab and at customers. At the same time, you keep our existing data pipeline running and make it better: you standardize code, integrate new functions and help develop fast and robust evaluation algorithms. An experienced colleague from the team mentors you, and you see the direct impact of your work in the next measurement. This is a full-time internship for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. Who we are Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our strong, international team of over 70, including physicists, engineers, data scientists, and other experts, works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, supporting chip debugging and accelerating yield analysis. Backed by top-tier deep tech investors, semiconductor experts, and strategic public programs, we have ensured long-term stability, shifting from breakthrough to scale, and shaping the next chapter in chip testing. Why join QuantumDiamonds? Picture this: Quantum sensors that see inside the most advanced chips on Earth, right where two frontier fields collide. Nobel-Prize physics aimed at real customers with real problems, in production now, not someday. Physicists, data scientists, and engineers building side by side, turning deep science into tools the industry actually runs on. An international team that runs at hard problems for fun, where knowledge moves fast and so do you. Still unsure about why joining us? You'll get to build a company together with a brilliant and welcoming team on a product that has never been done before. From Day 1, you'll own your own topics end to end and see the direct impact of your work on how the world sees QuantumDiamonds. Our technology is the cutting edge of tomorrow, starting today and not in 10 years. You'll be part of a high-growth company backed by top-tier investors. Let's make the invisible visible! What will you do Statistically analyze magnetic field images from NV-center widefield imaging of 2.5D and 3D chip packages: extract features and tell signal from noise and systematics, with numbers. Identify the signatures of electrical device failures in the measurements and detect anomalies in the data. Analyze customer data together with an experienced colleague and document the findings for customer projects. Maintain and improve our evaluation pipeline: standardize code, integrate new functions and turn prototype code into tested, versioned Python. Document your methods and results so the team can build on them. What is expected of you Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, data science, computer science or a related technical field. Available full time for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. Solid foundation in statistics and first experience with signal or image processing. Fluency in Python and the scientific stack, with version control as a habit. AI coding agents are part of how you work, and you check their output the way you check your own. Comfortable operating our systems in the lab, with guidance, when your analysis needs data. Fluent in English. On-site in Munich. Experience with common machine learning methods and an interest in semiconductors are a plus, not required. What we want you to bring is rigor with real measurement data and the habit of turning one analysis into code the team can reuse. Our benefits Mission: At QD, we're driven by more than just building great products - we aim to make a lasting difference. Joining us means contributing to meaningful work that goes beyond business as usual. Impact & growth: This is an exciting stage of our journey, and your voice matters. You'll have the chance to shape our culture, influence key decisions, and grow alongside a company that's scaling fast. Mentoring: An experienced colleague from the team mentors you throughout your internship. Health & fitness: With a company-sponsored Wellpass membership, you'll have access to countless gyms, classes, and wellness offers across Germany to stay healthy and active. Team & culture: We believe the best ideas come when we connect outside the office. From regular off-sites to team events, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment. Well-being & balance: We value rest and recovery. That's why you'll enjoy 24 vacation days plus public holidays to recharge and return inspired. Description QuantumDiamonds is building the world's first commercial quantum sensing tools for chip failure analysis. As our Electromagnetic Simulation Intern in the Data Science & Machine Learning team in Pre-Development, you simulate how our Quantum Diamond Microscope (QDm) sees real chip structures, from advanced 2.5D and 3D packages to dedicated test samples. You help predict what the QDm should measure, compare it with real data, and feed what you learn into the next generation of the QDm. You also help us build a faster, more automated simulation workflow. An experienced colleague from the team mentors you. This is a full-time internship for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. What is expected of you Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in physics, mathematics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. Available full time for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. Hands-on experience with FEM simulation, ideally with electromagnetic solvers such as Ansys HFSS, Maxwell, CST or COMSOL. Good understanding of electromagnetism: Maxwell's equations, near fields, skin effect, eddy currents.
