The Role This is a senior role combining consulting, technology and commercial responsibility . You'll work directly with customers to understand their processes and challenges, then turn those requirements into practical Smartsheet solutions. You'll build and present proof of concepts, scope consulting projects, discuss pricing and ultimately help win the work. You'll play an important role in AMX's continued growth, with an initial focus on the DACH market. You'll work with opportunities from Smartsheet, our partner network and existing customers, while also helping develop new relationships over time. The focus is on building trust, understanding where AMX can add value and turning strong customer relationships into sustainable growth. There's also real scope for this role to grow. With proven success, you'll take on broader responsibility for how AMX develops opportunities and goes to market , initially through greater ownership of customers, regions and commercial strategy. Over time, this can also develop into mentoring and guiding the team as it grows. What You'll Be Doing Manage customer opportunities end-to-end , from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, proof of concepts, scoping, pricing and commercial discussions, before handing over to the implementation team. Build strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new use cases and opportunities to expand successful solutions across other teams, departments and markets. Work closely with Smartsheet Account Executives and the wider Smartsheet team on joint account planning, developing opportunities and identifying growth accounts across DACH and AMX's wider markets. Help develop new opportunities through targeted account research, strategic outreach, events and collaboration with AMX's marketing and partner network . Contribute to and help shape AMX's wider consulting and commercial approach , including how we develop opportunities, work with partners and take solutions to market. As you progress, mentor other consultants and take on increasing responsibility across AMX's commercial activities. Your profile You have strong experience in technology consulting, solutions consulting, SaaS or digital transformation . You're commercially minded and comfortable taking a customer conversation from discovery through solution design, scoping, negotiation and close. You're equally technically hands-on and comfortable actually building and demonstrating what you propose. Smartsheet experience is a big advantage, but strong Excel skills or experience configuring SaaS, workflow, low-code or business applications can also be a great fit. You're good at asking the right questions and turning complex or unclear business problems into structured solutions . You're confident presenting to senior stakeholders and can explain technical solutions in terms of business value. You enjoy building customer relationships and spotting new opportunities . You're comfortable working without a perfect playbook. You like bringing your own ideas, testing what works and helping shape the processes and approach that will make AMX successful as we grow . You're interested in growing beyond an individual contributor role, mentoring others and taking on broader responsibility over time . You speak German at native/C2 level and English fluently. You're ideally based in Germany and comfortable travelling for customers, partner meetings and events , typically up to five days per month. A relevant degree is welcome, but your experience and what you've actually delivered are much more important to us. Why us? You'll join an established and successful consultancy that is still small enough for you to have a real influence on how things are done. You'll have genuine flexibility around where you work , with a remote-first setup and only occasional travel for customers, partner meetings and team events. The role comes with a strong fixed salary , with regular salary reviews as your responsibilities and seniority grow. You'll receive a €3,000 annual learning and development budget , home-office support, a flexible €50 monthly benefits allowance, wellness and technology allowances and regular team retreats. You won't simply be executing somebody else's playbook. You'll have the freedom to bring your own ideas, shape how we work and help define what successful growth looks like . Most importantly, there's room for this to become much more than a typical Senior Consultant position. If things go well, we want you to take on broader commercial responsibility, help develop the team and play an important role in AMX's continued growth across DACH and beyond. About Silo: Silo Markets is building a new kind of brokerage: one that rewards people for building wealth instead of constantly trading it away. Our platform allows customers to earn rewards points on their investment portfolios, including stocks and ETFs, without requiring them to spend money or use a credit card. Those points can then be redeemed for travel and other rewards. We're growing fast and are backed by leading venture capital firms, including Verdict Capital and Maveron. We're a small, ambitious team building a financial platform that we believe can fundamentally change how people think about investing. About the Role: We're looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join as our second engineering hire. You'll work directly with the founders and take significant ownership over our core platform, from the brokerage integrations and transaction systems to the services and APIs that power the experiences our customers interact with every day. This isn't a role where you'll spend months working on one small piece of a much larger system. You'll have the opportunity to design, build, ship, and maintain meaningful systems from end to end. We're looking for someone who moves quickly, thinks independently, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable navigating the ambiguity that comes with building an early-stage company. What You'll Do: Product Development: Build and ship features across our services, APIs, and tools. We're on a mission to make migration easy. We started building Marshmallow in 2017. Since then, we've grown from 3 to 700+ people, gained unicorn status, raised ~£140M over three funding rounds, turned profitable, insured millions of drivers and lent millions in car loans. But we're only just getting started. Our goal is to become one of the largest financial services providers in the world. Over the next 10 years we'll grow exponentially, not only by scaling our existing products, but also by building new ones. To achieve our goals we need incredibly ambitious, commercially driven people who never settle for 'good enough'. Marshmallowers are hungry for autonomy and ownership, and would rather improve than coast. Everyone raises standards and has an impact, with a focus on collective success over self-interest. We've created an environment where curious, tenacious people win and grow together. If that sounds motivating, this could be the place for you. London (hybrid, 3 days in office) Car Finance at Marshmallow Marshmallow is opening up access to credit to migrants, bringing a brand new product to market which provides newcomers to the UK with fairly priced car finance for the first time. Our Car Finance team is building a new generation lending platform from the ground up, making it simple, transparent and accessible for people who need finance to get on the road. We work closely with dealers, brokers and customers to make sure that every application, decision and interaction is fast, fair and easy to understand. Because we're a small, high-performing team, everyone has real ownership. We combine hands-on operations with a strong focus on automation and technology. We're designing highly automated, AI-powered processes that let us move faster and smarter than traditional lenders. The Role We're hiring a Data Scientist to sit at the heart of how we lend: who we say yes to, at what price, and how we know it's working. Our customers are people that traditional lenders struggle to assess. Many are new to the UK, have thin or no credit files, and don't fit neatly into off-the-shelf bureau scores. That makes credit decisioning at Marshmallow a genuinely hard, genuinely interesting problem: we combine bureau data, Open Banking, insurance, application and behavioural data to build a view of risk that others can't, and we need to do it in a way that is fair, explainable and compliant. This role sits between a traditional credit analyst and a data scientist. You'll build and monitor scorecards, design and test credit strategies, dig into portfolio performance to find out what's really going on, and turn large, messy datasets into insights that change how we lend. You'll own your work end-to-end: from framing the question and pulling the data through to modelling, presenting a recommendation and seeing it live in our decision engine. You'll be working with a small team and a modern stack, alongside a Head of Credit who has built this function from scratch and who will give you real ownership from day one. This is not a role where you hand models over a wall and move on - you'll see the impact of your decisions immediately. What you'll be doing Build, validate and monitor application and behavioural scorecards, using bureau, Open Banking and internal data to improve how we assess new-to-UK and thin-file customers. Design, test and refine our credit strategy: cut-offs, affordability rules, pricing tiers and limits, with a clear view of the trade-off between risk, volume and margin. Run experiments and champion/challenge tests to prove that changes to policy and models actually work before we scale them. Explore new data sources and alternative signals, and build the case for using (or not using) them in decisioning. Support model governance: document what you build, evidence that it treats customers fairly, and help us meet our Consumer Duty, CONC and model risk obligations. Work with our engineers to get models and rules into production, and use AI tooling to make yourself and the team faster. What You'll Bring Must have 2–5 years' experience in decision science or data science within consumer lending or another regulated financial services environment. Hands-on experience developing or materially refining credit scorecards or risk models (logistic regression and/or gradient boosting), including the practicalities: sample design, binning, reject inference, validation and monitoring. Experience working with Open Banking or other alternative data in credit decisioning. SQL user, and comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets. A solid grounding in statistics and a good instinct for when a result is real and when it isn't. Commercial judgement: you can translate a model output into a lending decision and explain the trade-offs to a non-technical audience. Curiosity and ownership. You ask why, you dig until you find the answer, and you'd rather ship something and improve it than wait for perfection. Nice to have Motor finance or other secured lending experience. Experience of working within a rapidly scaling lending environment. Familiarity with UK consumer credit regulation and how it shapes model design and use. Experience using LLMs to speed up analytical work.
