Strategic Account Executive, DACH (Paris or London) About Maki Maki is the worlds #1 AI Hiring tool and helps the world's largest companies hire the best people, fast. Nespresso, H&M, Deloitte and other global enterprises use Maki to screen, assess and amplify candidate engagement. Recruiters waste less time, candidates get a better experience, and companies get the best talent, that actually stay. Customers have cut time to hire by up to 45% and a large portion of our business comes from references directly in from customers, the same customers who rank Maki a High Performer 4.7 out of 5 on G2. Why now Enterprises cannot hire fast enough, and AI has made it worse: application volumes are higher than ever, and CVs tell you less. HR has been one of the slowest functions to adopt AI, and now it is pushing hard. Talent leaders know their legacy process hurts candidates, cost and revenue. Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model — which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can actually understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. The Team: Celonis grew up with the private sector: Deutsche Telekom, Mercedes-Benz, Uniper and three quarters of the DAX companies rely on Celonis Process Intelligence. Now we are taking the next big step in Germany: scaling our business with the public sector. To make this happen, Celonis is investing heavily through 2029 in its German public sector business. Over the past year, we have built our Public Sector team from the ground up. Today, a strong go-to-market core team of Account Executives and Value Engineers is in place, working with federal and state-level institutions. The Bundeswehr is one of our primary target organizations in the public sector. With our Celonis for Defense & Security initiative, presented at the Munich Security Conference 2026, we offer a sovereign and trusted platform that integrates data across systems and optimizes military processes along the entire value chain. This means higher operational readiness through optimized logistics and faster maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) cycles, greater resilience through end-to-end supply chain transparency, and faster IT modernization by connecting existing systems with modern AI applications. Building on our data analysis solution Metropolis , we also help connect information from a wide range of sources into a comprehensive situational picture , enabling faster and better-informed decisions during the actual mission . To drive this forward, we are now complementing our existing Public Sector team with a highly specialized Account Executive who brings first-hand experience from inside the organization we serve: the Bundeswehr . The Role: This is not a typical Account Executive role. You bring the perspective of someone who knows the Bundeswehr from the inside: how its structures work, how processes in logistics, maintenance or procurement really run, and how decisions are made and budgets are approved. You will use this credibility to build trusted relationships across the Bundeswehr and the defense ecosystem, and to position Celonis as a long-term partner for its digital transformation. Working closely with our Public Sector AEs, Value Engineers and product experts, you will translate the operational reality of the armed forces into compelling use cases, contribute to the creation of solution blueprints, drive opportunities from first conversation to signed contract, and help shape how Celonis enters and grows in this market. The Work you'll do: Build and own relationships across the Bundeswehr – Army (Heer), Navy (Marine), Air Force (Luftwaffe) and Cyber and Information Domain Service (CIR) – and its ecosystem, e.g. the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg), the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) and BWI GmbH. The Team: You will join a high-performing sales team within the DACH sales organization, responsible for driving growth within large global enterprises from the Transportation & Logistics industry, including rail, ocean shipping and contract logistics. Transportation & Logistics is one of our strategic industries, where we help global leaders optimize their end-to-end processes, increase operational efficiency through our Process Intelligence platform, and provide the contextual layer to industrialize Enterprise AI. The Role: Applying a value-driven consultative sales approach, you will create and cultivate strategic relationships to drive sales cycles from deep discovery to value realization. You will be responsible for a selected portfolio of strategic accounts from the Transportation & Logistics industry in the DACH region, generating new business opportunities with existing customers. Navigating complex organizations up to the C-suite, you will collaborate cross-functionally to understand your accounts' needs and systematically drive the end-to-end sales cycle to a successful close. The Work you'll do: Manage your accounts from an existing customer perspective. Land-and-expand is the typical model. Engage across lines of business, at C-level and below. Drive Celonis Process Intelligence sales motions across the logistics value chain and translate customer challenges into compelling, AI-enabled use cases with measurable impact. Hold an individual revenue target for closing six- to seven-figure deals within your accounts. Navigate complex procurement and tender processes. Engage closely with partners, e.g. consulting firms and SaaS vendors. Drive complex sales cycles by orchestrating virtual teams: business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, value engineers, sales engineers / pre-sales, customer success managers, professional services and implementation partners. The Qualifications you need: 8+ years of relevant experience in either one, or ideally both, of the following domains: Management / AI Consulting: experience in a consultancy, ideally in a transportation, logistics or travel practice, with direct responsibility for client relationships and business development, including your own sales target and sourcing new projects. Enterprise Software Sales: a proven track record of applying a consultative sales approach to sell complex, strategic business solutions to large enterprise accounts with full account ownership, ideally at a hyperscaler or leading SaaS company. A proven track record of commitment, long tenure and successful career progression with your previous companies. Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of how transportation and logistics companies operate, with familiarity with their core processes and KPIs, particularly within Supply Chain and Finance. Familiarity with the different industry players (3PL, contract logistics, freight forwarding, rail) and experience in addressing their key challenges: supply chain volatility and resilience, cost pressure (e.g. from manual document handling such as customs and air waybills), and punctuality. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior Business and IT stakeholders and engage effectively at the C-level (CEO, CFO, CIO, COO, Head of Operations). Experience with complex tender processes is a strong plus. Grit, a hands-on mindset, and strong discovery and sales process leadership. Fluency in German and English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, high-growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking and a growth mindset. Willingness to be collaborative and inclusive, to embrace diversity, and strong interpersonal skills #differentmakesusbetter Ability to leverage internal resources and work as a team #bestteamwins #LI-SS6 What Celonis can offer you: Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations. Strength in Trust OneTrust's mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn't slow teams down—it should accelerate what's possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society. The Challenge We're looking for a Senior Principal Solutions Engineer to shape and lead technical strategy for OneTrust's most strategic and complex opportunities in the UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager, you will bring broad portfolio fluency, deep enterprise technology expertise, executive-level customer engagement, and commercial judgement to help customers solve business-critical challenges with OneTrust. You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering and partners to build deep account alignment, progress complex buying decisions, and create measurable customer and commercial outcomes. You will be a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders and a force multiplier for the Solutions Engineering organisation: setting s high bar, developing reusable approaches, and coaching others to raise the quality of our work. AI Governance is an important area of expertise for this role, alongside the breadth to lead opportunities across OneTrust's entire platform. Your Mission Lead technical strategy for the highest-impact, most complex opportunities across OneTrust's solutions portfolio, aligning the customer's business priorities, technology environment, risk posture, architecture and decision process to the right OneTrust solutions and measurable outcomes. Bring particular depth in AI Governance where relevant to the customer's needs. Build deep account alignment with Account Executives, Customer Success and other partners. Map the buying group and executive sponsors; understand account priorities and whitespace; and shape a coordinated, multi-stakeholder motion that advances the opportunity and contributes to sustainable ACV growth. Partner with the commercial account owners on expansion strategy; this role does not replace their ownership of the customer relationship. Engage credibly with executive and practitioner stakeholders—including CIO/CTO, CISO, Chief AI and Data leaders, Privacy, Legal, Risk, Security, Procurement, and AI/ML Engineering—to connect governance requirements with business value and delivery realities. Lead discovery and solution design for complex enterprise programmes across relevant OneTrust solution areas, translating fragmented requirements, regulatory obligations and technical constraints into practical, scalable operating models, architectures and workflows. Bring deep technical expertise in OneTrust's solutions, enterprise integrations and the technology ecosystems relevant to each opportunity. Advise on APIs, data flows, identity and access, cloud and platform architecture, and—where relevant—AI/ML lifecycles and operational controls; identify risks and dependencies early; and recommend implementable designs. Lead tailored demonstrations, technical evaluations, proofs of concept, RFP responses and executive presentations across the portfolio. Set clear success criteria, prove technical fit and business value, and use evaluation outcomes to build stakeholder confidence and progress the sales motion. Articulate OneTrust's differentiated value and position solutions thoughtfully against alternatives, connecting customer requirements to the most relevant solution capabilities, integrations and roadmap—including AI Governance where applicable—without overpromising. Act as a strategic bridge between the field and Product, Engineering, Marketing and leadership. Bring structured customer and competitive insight to inform product direction, positioning, packaging and go-to-market strategy. Create reusable solution patterns, account-planning practices, demos, technical guidance and field assets that improve consistency and outcomes beyond an individual opportunity. Coach and mentor Solutions Engineers and cross-functional partners in portfolio knowledge, strategic discovery, technical storytelling, executive engagement and complex deal execution, sharing AI Governance expertise where relevant. Maintain accurate opportunity strategy, technical risks, evaluation plans and next steps in Salesforce, in partnership with the account team. What Success Looks Like You are a trusted technical and strategic partner on the business's most consequential opportunities across OneTrust's solutions portfolio, improving deal progression and technical win outcomes. You build durable alignment across customer executives, practitioners and the OneTrust account team, connecting the right OneTrust solutions to funded priorities and demonstrable business value—including AI Governance where relevant. Your work contributes to healthy ACV growth by helping account teams identify, shape and win the right strategic opportunities. Customers see a credible path from their business priorities to operational outcomes, with connected, secure, scalable and realistic recommendations across the relevant OneTrust solutions. You raise the capability of the wider organisation through thought leadership, repeatable approaches, coaching and actionable customer insight. You Are A strategic, customer-led thinker who starts with outcomes and discovery, navigates ambiguity, and exercises sound judgement rather than defaulting to a product pitch or a standard playbook. Commercially astute: you understand how complex enterprise buying decisions are made, how technical strategy affects deal outcomes, and how to create mutual value without compromising customer trust. An executive-level communicator who can move from technical depth to a concise business narrative, influence senior decision-makers, and adapt to different audiences. A broad portfolio strategist and a credible AI Governance expert, with a strong, current point of view on the AI landscape, associated technologies and fast-moving developments. You continuously assess what is emerging, what is becoming operationally relevant, and what it means for customer needs and OneTrust's solutions. A technical authority and generous coach: you are a go-to resource on complex problems and actively build the expertise and confidence of others. A cross-functional leader who influences through expertise, brings teams together across geographies, and turns customer and market insight into broader organisational impact. Comfortable setting direction where the answer is not yet established, while being transparent about assumptions, trade-offs, product capabilities and limitations. Your Experience Includes Typically 12+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, technical sales or a comparable customer-facing enterprise technology role, including a track record of leading complex, strategic opportunities. Demonstrated success shaping strategic sales motions through deep account alignment, executive engagement, multi-threaded discovery and value-based solution design—with evidence of contributing to ACV growth and technical wins. Experience across multiple enterprise solution areas, ideally spanning OneTrust domains such as privacy, AI Governance, data use governance, technology risk and compliance, third-party risk, and consent and preferences. You can connect solution areas into coherent customer outcomes; AI Governance is a required area of depth, but not the exclusive scope of the role. Deep expertise in AI Governance and responsible AI, including practical understanding of AI system inventories, governance operating models, risk assessment, policy and controls, approvals, evidence and ongoing oversight. Strong knowledge of AI technologies and architectures, including generative AI and large language models, AI agents, machine learning, third-party AI, model and application lifecycles, and the cloud services and platforms used to build and operate AI. You can assess new developments critically and translate their implications into customer guidance. Working knowledge of relevant governance and regulatory frameworks, such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001, and the ability to connect requirements to operational processes and technical controls. Strong technical grounding in enterprise SaaS, cloud computing, web applications, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, authentication and data flows. Experience with JavaScript or Python and practical scripting is valuable; familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is an advantage. Experience designing and delivering enterprise software demonstrations, integrations and evaluations, including proofs of concept with clear business and technical success criteria. The ability to build trusted relationships and influence across customer organisations and internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing and partners. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Willingness to travel as required; estimated travel is approximately 25%.
