About Us Teton is redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology and a great product experience. As populations get older and staff shortages grow, healthcare systems are under pressure. Our mission is to decrease the cost of healthcare while improving the quality of care. Our product enables care teams to intervene, prevent and operate more efficiently. Our ambient sensors in resident rooms capture activity, sleep, respiration, gait and more. These signals are used both to react fast to risk events, like falls, and for long-term health analysis that care teams can act on. Teton is scaling fast, operating in the Nordics, UK, DACH and US. We raised a $20M Series A. Expect travel to the US to meet users and team members. We focus relentlessly on product excellence and user experience, deploying solutions at speed that make a tangible difference for carers. We are an aspiring meritocracy biased towards action, always striving to raise the bar. If you are driven by impact, speed and leveling up, this might be the place for you. If you are looking for a 9-17 job, perform best with structure and struggle dealing with unknowns, this is not for you. We believe close collaboration between a hard-working, high-agency team enables the fastest and most efficient iteration cycles, helping us build an impactful product that healthcare professionals truly love to use. The Job We're looking for a talented and driven Product Engineer to own customer-facing features from the first conversation with a care team to the feature running in production. Care workers rely on our product during every shift and care managers use it to follow up on their residents, on mobile and on the web. This isn't a ticket-taking role. You'll talk to users, cut scope, build across the whole stack, and check afterwards whether what you shipped actually made a shift easier. Your goal is to shrink the time from a customer request to a deployed solution, without cutting corners on reliability or on the privacy of residents' health data. In this role, you will focus on: Feature Development: Own features end-to-end, from design discussions through implementation to production rollout across multiple markets and languages, on the web app, the mobile app and the APIs behind them. Customer Insight: Talk to care staff and our customer success team every week, visit care facilities, and turn what you hear into clearly scoped product changes. Come with ideas, sketch the solution, and push it forward. Fast Iteration: Break large designs and features into small shippable pieces. Get MVPs in front of users quickly, measure how they're used, and iterate or kill them. Backend & APIs: Design and build the APIs, data models and services your features need. You will not just consume APIs, you will help shape, improve and fix the systems behind them. Quality, Privacy & Safety: Ship with care for health data: sensible access control, auditability and privacy by default. Build test coverage and use staged rollouts so new features never get in the way of the alerts care teams depend on. Qualifications Strong TypeScript skills: this is the language for everything we build. Solid production experience with React on the web and/or React Native. Comfortable working across the stack: you've built backend APIs and worked with relational databases (e.g. Postgres), not just UI. Great product taste and a keen eye for UX. You work well with designers and can make sensible design decisions yourself when needed. Comfortable talking directly with non-technical users and turning messy feedback into concrete decisions. Previous startup experience and/or shipping a product where you owned the outcome, from idea to adoption. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Nice to Have Experience with React Native and Expo in production. AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience. Familiarity with TanStack, real-time systems or push notifications. Experience with health data or other regulated, privacy-sensitive domains (e.g. GDPR). Experience shipping products across multiple markets and languages. What We Offer Participation in our warrant program (stock options). A small team where your decisions directly shape the product. Work on software that healthcare workers depend on every day, the impact is tangible and immediate. Join Our Team We're looking for individuals who share our vision and value ownership and entrepreneurship over a conventional job. At Teton, you'll have the chance to make a real impact with your work. If you're ready for more than just a job, come aboard and be part of our mission to transform healthcare. Software Engineer - Customer Operations Platform Hybrid in London, UK We're looking for a software engineer iwoca's operational tools and processes are a competitive advantage, allowing us to give great customer service, manage risk, and get money into our customers' hands as quickly as possible. You'll join our growing Customer Operations Platform team to help improve the systems that power these processes, building tailored flows for our Operations teams, automating processes using AI, using ML models to make smarter decisions, and improving the reliability of our communication services. You'll work closely with our Operations teams, getting user feedback and input on requirements from users working in the same building, and seeing the impact of your changes on the people you work with. The company Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don't wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. To keep going, and growing, SMEs need finance that's as flexible and responsive as they are. That's why we built iwoca. Our smart technology, data science and five-star customer service ensures business owners can act with the speed, confidence and control they need, exactly when it's needed. We've already cleared the way for 100,000 businesses with more than £4 billion in funding. Our passionate team is driven to help even more SMEs succeed, through access to better finance and other services that make running a business easier. Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive. The role As an engineer you'd take whole projects end to end, work out what' s actually needed, design it, build it and look after it in production. Responsibility and Autonomy: Take on complex projects that span many systems and many stakeholders — e.g. CRM, telephony, contact, and task management Build a strong understanding of the business context: how our ops teams actually work, how the processes you're automating are supposed to run, and what the people relying on your systems need from them. Do the detailed technical scoping and prototyping that tells us whether an idea is feasible before it reaches the roadmap. Delivery and Collaboration Take on complex coding and architecture problems with a high level of ambiguity and technical complexity. Write fluent technical documents and developer tickets distilling product requirements into clear and actionable technical work. Build relationships with key stakeholders including Operations Strategy, Credit Analysts, Account Managers, and Collections teams. Learning and Growth: Embody our growth mindset mentality by sharing new technologies and best practices within the team as well as more broadly across the company. The projects Here are some of the most recent problems we are solving: iwocaChat. Operations staff spend a large share of their day assembling context from multiple systems before they can help a customer. iwocaChat uses Claude to answer those questions directly, so staff spend their time on the customer rather than the lookup. Migrating the monolith. We are incrementally moving business logic out of our Django monolith into smaller, independently deployable services. Because it cuts across every domain, you'd be shaping service boundaries and ownership models that stick around long after the monolith is gone. Inbox messaging reworking. We are replacing our third party email inbox application with an inhouse solution, utilising AI to enable operations staff to automate the actions of our most frequent customer service enquiries. The requirements Essential: Experience developing and owning shared back end services that other engineering teams contribute to and depend on - being the trusted reviewer for their contributions and shaping how they build on top of your work. Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, TypeScript) and browser debugging. Experience building and shaping distributed systems in complex business domains. Ability to translate complex operational needs into technical architecture. Strong capability using AI tools to automate routine tasks and research, enabling greater focus on complex system architecture and critical technical decision-making. Bonus: Commercial experience with Python frameworks like Django. Experience with complex data architectures, including event-sourced data models. The salary We expect to pay from £70,000 - £90,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews. The culture At iwoca, the best idea wins. We model our culture on independent thinking, challenging untested logic, and evidence-based decisions. We prioritise learning and growth, and give people the autonomy to develop in the direction that makes them most effective. We're a tech company and believe in the power of AI to help us work faster and better. We provide the infrastructure where every iwocan always has access to the best models and where those models have access to all of our data. We will help our people to learn how to use and grow with the new tools available to them. The offices We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a brilliant place to work: Offices in London, Leeds, Frankfurt, and Berlin with plenty of drinks and snacks. Our passionate team is driven to help even more SMEs succeed, through access to better finance and other services that make running a business easier. Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive. The team The New Customers team owns everything from a business's first application to a funded loan: the application flow, the logic that routes each application, the documents we ask customers for, and the models that set loan amounts and pricing. Its measure of success is the customer lifetime value it adds between sign-up and first loan. The team sets its own goals and direction. It brings together engineers, data scientists, and product and strategy people. It partners closely with credit risk on the trade-offs behind every lending decision. Knowledge sharing is central to how the team works, supported by regular forums to share findings, and dedicated research and development time. You'll lead two engineers and report to the head of engineering for iwoca's customer journey, from first application to repeat lending. The role As the Tech Lead, you'll spend most of your time building. The team is moving its offer logic out of a legacy monolith into multiple services.. The next phase is yours to lead. AI leverage. You've built agentic workflows, or used AI to deliver engineering work you couldn't have done alone. You help your team do the same. You judge where it's useful. You check its output before it reaches production. Communication. You write and speak clearly, directly, and concisely. You adapt technical detail to your audience. Bonus: Lending or payments experience. You've worked in lending, payments, or another domain where engineering decisions carry financial risk. Experimentation. You've built systems that run controlled experiments, especially long-running ones. Legacy migration. You've moved business-critical logic out of a complex legacy monolith and kept everything that depends on it working. Working with data scientists. You've worked with data scientists from prototype to production, and know their work well enough to challenge it. Python stack. You've worked with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. Frontend. You've built frontend features as well as backend services. The salary We expect to pay from £90,000 to £120,000 for this role. OAG is the essential intelligence partner transforming global travel. For nearly a century, we've been the foundation the travel industry builds on, trusted, proven, essential. Today, we're going beyond. We combine unmatched data quality, quantity and access with breakthrough technology and deep industry expertise to deliver what the industry truly needs: not just more data, but better answers. From real-time operational intelligence to strategic decision-making, we power the entire travel ecosystem, from airlines and airports to technology companies and financial institutions. We are actively embedding AI throughout our intelligence layer, combining nearly a century of proprietary data with the latest technology to deliver answers that were simply not possible before. We exist because travel moves the world, and we move travel. By transforming complexity into clarity and questions into answers, we give our partners the intelligence they need to thrive in an evolving world. For more information visit www.oag.com ABOUT THE ROLE: OAG Digital is the team turning our world-class data into a product-led growth engine: a unified experience where customers can discovery, try, pay and use on their own. We build the platform customers use to find, buy and use our data, and the intelligence products that turn that data into answers. This is the most senior individual contributor role on the technical side of Digital. Its purpose is to turn the Digital strategy into a technical strategy that delivers it: deciding what gets built, in what order and to what standard, so the business can sell what it has committed to sell. A decision taken in one team should still work in another, our promises to customers on access, security, reliability and cost should hold on every channel, and the hardest problems should get solved once. You'll work across two areas. Core is the platform backbone: identity, auth, entitlements, billing, usage metering and the infrastructure everything else depends on. Intelligence is the layer above the data: AI-powered insights, predictive models built on Databricks and Snowflake, anomaly detection, and agentic features. The role is hands-on. You'll write production code on the hardest parts of the platform while setting direction, reviewing designs and helping other engineers do better work. We care about UX as much as throughput, and we're AI-native: tooling is part of how we develop, not an afterthought. This role can be worked remotely from anywhere in the UK only. Please note that we're unable to offer visa sponsorship, so applicants will need the existing right to work in the UK. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Design and build the hardest parts of the platform, hands on: how customers get to the right data and products, how that access is controlled, and what it costs us to serve. Stay close enough to the code that the design still holds once it's built Set the technical direction for problems that cross team boundaries: how customers are identified, what they're allowed to use, how usage is measured and charged, and how existing customers and older systems move onto the new platform. Write the design down, get agreement, and stay with it through delivery so teams build to one approach rather than several Set the standard for products built on AI and machine learning: define what a feature must do before it ships (show where its answer came from, be honest about how current the data is, fail predictably, be tested repeatably). Set the technical brief for data science teams, including how a model will be judged and the speed and cost it has to work within, and push back when a model isn't the right tool Work with the teams and partners outside Digital who build against your designs, including other parts of OAG and third parties. Share designs early, take feedback, change course where they're right, and make the call when a cross-team decision has been open too long Integrate AI models, data pipelines and event-driven systems on Databricks and Snowflake into the Intelligence layer Improve how the whole of Digital builds software: review designs and code beyond your own team, mentor senior engineers, and make the good way to do something the easy way. This includes making AI-assisted development reliable, with the checks needed to keep quality high Maintain the quality bar through code reviews, automated testing, observability, and CI/CD. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Extensive experience building and running production software end to end , from system design through to operating it live Technical leadership beyond a single team: a track record of influencing engineers and teams you don't manage, and building agreement across them System design across boundaries : systems that stay correct, fast and affordable when several teams, several delivery channels and a shared data platform are all involved, and sound judgement on when to solve something once centrally versus letting each team solve it Hands-on experience in analytical or data-intensive contexts and depth in large-scale data platforms : how they're built, governed and paid for, including keeping one customer's data separate from another's, controlling access at the data layer, tracking data lineage, and keeping query cost under control Machine learning and AI in production: enough understanding of how models and agents are built, trained and evaluated to set the technical brief for the data science team, read an evaluation critically, and judge whether a result will hold up in the real world. Experience taking AI-powered features into production and making them reliable, cost-effective and trustworthy for customers. Judgement under uncertainty, with commercial awareness: you understand that technical choices affect what the business can charge and what it costs to serve a customer, and you know when to decide and when to wait Clear communicator who can explain direction, risk and trade-offs so that engineers, product, commercial and senior leaders all take away the same thing A builder's mindset . You understand the who and the why, and you own what ships AI-native in how you build: you use AI tooling with judgement, stay current with how agentic development is evolving, and help make effective agentic practices the norm across the team If you don't meet every requirement but feel excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you. WE WILL OFFER YOU 🚀 A progressive, non-hierarchical culture where innovation drives everything we build 🏡 Flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance 💰 An attractive compensation and benefits package, including access to a Simplyhealth cash plan to support your everyday health and wellbeing, a company bonus scheme, Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme and enhanced pension scheme 🏖️ 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, volunteering days and additional day off during your birthday month 👪 Inclusive family benefits designed to support you through parenthood and fertility journeys 🌍 Work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 1 month per year 📚 Annual learning and development budget. OAG is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and able to perform at their best. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know. We are happy to have an open conversation about how we can support you. About the role Radiant exists to redefine how AI infrastructure is built and operated at scale. We are creating a vertically integrated AI platform that brings together physical infrastructure, control planes, and cloud-native software to deliver abundance, control, and sovereignty in a world constrained by traditional hyperscaler models. Our vision is to enable organisations to build, train, and deploy AI at national and global scale without surrendering control over performance, cost, or locality. This requires engineering systems that operate across software, hardware, and physical environments, and that remain reliable as scale and complexity increase. We are scaling our engineering organisation now. Most of our engineering manager seats are open. You join, shape how the teams work, and grow with them. As an Engineering Manager, you lead a team building and operating core parts of Radiant's cloud platform. You combine people leadership, technical judgement, delivery ownership and cross-functional collaboration. You work closely with product, infrastructure, SRE, security and other engineering teams. This is a hands-on leadership role. It focuses on building strong teams, delivering reliable platform capabilities, and creating an environment where engineers do their best work. The streams We run engineering as ten streams in three groups. Each stream is a full team of about nine people: principal, senior and mid-level software engineers, an SDET, a DevOps engineer and a platform engineer. Each stream has its own engineering manager. Infrastructure: Compute, Network, Storage, Cluster Platform: Cloud, Infra, Observability, Security AI: Training, Inference You do not apply for a single stream. We hire strong managers first. Then we agree your stream with you, based on your strengths and interests. Your first stream is a starting point, not a fixed track. Moves between streams are normal here. Key responsibilities You lead one stream end to end: people, delivery and production. Lead, coach and develop a team of about nine engineers across platform, infrastructure and distributed systems. Own team execution across planning, prioritisation, delivery, quality and operational readiness. Partner with product to turn priorities into clear technical plans and achievable milestones. Provide technical leadership on architecture, reliability, scalability and engineering trade-offs. Set strong engineering practices for design, testing, observability, documentation and incident learning. Improve team effectiveness through clear ownership, healthy processes and strong cross-team collaboration. Hire, onboard and retain high-performing engineers. Hiring is a large part of the first year. Expect around two hours a day on it. Support career development through regular feedback, coaching and progression planning. Manage technical risk, dependencies and delivery challenges across complex platform initiatives. Bring AI-assisted engineering into daily work, within our guardrails. Build a culture of ownership, pragmatism, operational excellence and continuous improvement. Attitude comes first Curiosity: you learn new domains fast. GPUs, networks and storage excite you rather than worry you. Candour: you say what you think, with care. You welcome challenge to your own ideas. Builder mindset: much here is not built yet. You enjoy creating the process, not just running it. Pace with standards: you move fast and keep quality high. Generosity: you make the people around you better. You give credit and share what you know. Your profile Experience leading engineering teams building cloud platforms, infrastructure, developer tooling or distributed systems. A strong technical background. You engage credibly in architecture and design discussions. A good understanding of: Cloud infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, containers Platform engineering: APIs, automation, IAM, observability, reliability Distributed systems: scaling, consistency, failure handling Engineering operations: incident response, capacity, performance, production ownership Proven experience in people management, hiring, coaching and performance development. Strong delivery and prioritisation skills across competing priorities. Comfort working closely with product and other engineering leaders in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. The ability to balance technical quality, delivery speed, reliability and team sustainability. Experience with GPU, HPC or AI infrastructure is a bonus. Nobody has depth in every area above. Tell us which you know and which you want to learn. What you bring People leadership: you build strong teams and help engineers grow. Technical judgement: you challenge designs and guide trade-offs without owning every implementation detail. Execution: you create clarity and drive complex work to completion. Systems thinking: you understand how platform components and teams fit together. Operational mindset: you care about reliability, maintainability and production quality. Ownership: you take responsibility for both team health and engineering outcomes. Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
Job title: Machine Learning Engineer – Lumen Enterprise Models (SWE-focused LLMs) Location: London; full in-office working as default Start date: ASAP Reports to: CEO Compensation: Salary and Equity options available for discussion Application deadline: 08/11/26 at 23:59 UK time ___________________________________________________________________________ Help train the software engineers of the future Cosine is building autonomous software-engineering systems for organisations where reliability, security and control matter most. Our Lumen Enterprise models are designed to work across real codebases. They need to understand unfamiliar architectures, make changes across multiple files, use tools, run tests and produce software that engineers can maintain and trust. We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help train and improve these models. You'll work across the full training stack, including pre-training, supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning. This is a truly unique role that will provide exposure across all areas of the model training lifecycle. WE're looking for someone who is just as happy to profile the training loop, identifying performance bottlenecks and memory leaks, as implementing new RL algorithms. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working close to the model and cares about the quality of the software it produces. ___________________________________________________________________________ The role You'll work closely with research, infrastructure and product to answer questions such as: What should Lumen learn next? Which data and environments will teach it most effectively? How should we reward correct, maintainable and useful software? How do we train models to work across large repositories and long contexts? How do we know when a model is genuinely better for engineers? The models you train will write code, use development tools, run tests and receive feedback from real software-engineering environments. Your work will directly influence how Lumen reasons about code, navigates unfamiliar systems and improves through experience. ___________________________________________________________________________ Why this role matters The best coding models are not simply the ones that generate plausible code. They need to understand context, respect existing architecture, use tools effectively, test their work and recover when their first attempt fails. They need to produce changes that work in the real world, not just on a benchmark. That behaviour has to be trained. You'll work directly on the data, environments, rewards and evaluations that shape Lumen's capabilities. Your work will influence the models used by engineers and enterprise teams working on complex and security-sensitive software systems. This is an opportunity to work on frontier model training while staying close to a concrete, high-value outcome: building AI that can genuinely do software engineering. ___________________________________________________________________________ What you'll do Work across the full training lifecycle, running pre-training, supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement-learning experiments. Optimize training methods at scale on frontier models. Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks and communication overhead in distributed training environments. Train models on long-context, multi-file and repository-level tasks. Develop RL and RLVR loops using signals from execution, tests, linters, static analysis and other engineering feedback, turning fresh ideas into scalable, reproducible code. Investigate model failure modes such as poor planning, brittle fixes, reward hacking and regressions. Collaborate with infrastructure, platform and data teams. ___________________________________________________________________________ What we're looking for You may come from machine learning research, applied ML, model training or a closely related engineering background. You should have: Strong experience training deep-learning models in a production or research environment. Deep practical experience with PyTorch or a comparable framework. Experience with distributed training and multi-GPU systems (FSDP, Deepspeed, …) Strong software-engineering fundamentals and a high bar for correctness and maintainability. Clear communication and the ability to explain technical trade-offs. Experience with large language models is important. You should have worked meaningfully on at least one of, pre-training, SFT, preference optimisation, RLHF or RLVR. We care more about depth of understanding and evidence of strong technical judgement than about having used every tool listed. Even if you don't tick every box, please consider applying! A bonus if you have Experience with mixture-of-experts (MoE) architectures. Experience with CUDA. Familiarity with vLLM, SGLang or other high-performance inference systems. Experience running jobs on SLURM, Kubernetes or managed GPU platforms. Experience with code-model benchmarks such as SWE-bench, HumanEval or internal repository-level evaluations. Contributions to open-source model-training, RL or evaluation tools. ___________________________________________________________________________ Why join Cosine Direct impact: Your work directly shapes the next generations of Lumen Enterprise SWE models that engineers use every day. Real scale: You'll work with large, modern open-source models, long context lengths, and multi-node training runs. Full-stack ML engineering: From custom PyTorch code and distributed systems to data curation, RL design and MLOps. Research + pragmatism: You'll stay close to the latest literature in SFT, and code LLMs, but you'll be judged by shipped improvements, not just ideas. If this sounds like a fit, this is a role where you can meaningfully push the frontier of open-source–based software engineering models. ___________________________________________________________________________ Cosine is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and ways of thinking, and we're committed to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace. We encourage applications from anyone who meets the role requirements, even if you don't meet every single qualification. If you need reasonable adjustments at any stage of the hiring process, we're happy to discuss them. ___________________________________________________________________________ Compensation, Benefits & Ways of Working We're an in-office team, five days a week, by design. We believe the work we're doing benefits from being together, collaborating closely, and building shared context. What you can expect: Competitive salary , benchmarked to the market Equity / share options , so you share in the upside you help create 30 days' holiday + bank holidays Work hard in the office, collaborate closely, and switch off properly Dog-friendly office — bring your dog to work Weekly team breakfast & lunch Monthly socials Pension High-quality equipment to do your best work We care about focus, sustainability, and doing great work — not performative overwork. We value people who show up, contribute thoughtfully, collaborate well with their colleagues, and then go home. This role won't suit everyone. But if you're looking for a fast-moving environment, close collaboration, and a team that takes both the work and work-life balance seriously, it's a great place to be. ___________________________________________________________________________ Agency & Data Protection Notice To comply with UK GDPR and our internal data-protection and equal-opportunity obligations, we only accept candidate applications and agency submissions via our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This ensures appropriate privacy notices, lawful processing, auditability, and consistent retention controls.
