Head of Solutions Operations
Full TimeOn-siteDirector

About Mistral Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms. We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited. About the job Mistral builds AI systems that enterprises run on their own terms, in finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector. The Solutions organization turns customers' hardest problems into AI they own, run, and scale on Mistral. It is one of the fastest-growing functions in the company: 650 people by end of 2026, across EMEA, the US, and Asia-Pacific, delivering measurable business outcomes for enterprise customers worldwide. The Solutions organization includes Deployment Strategists, Applied AI Engineers, Infrastructure Solution Architects, and Applied Scientists. They work with enterprise customers from pre-sales through implementation and deliver AI systems that produce measurable business outcomes. Solutions Operations is the function that makes this scale. It runs staffing and capacity planning across regions, the go-to-market motion by industry vertical and capability, delivery processes and tooling, the data behind our decisions, and value and customer-success measurement, with hubs in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. We are hiring a Head of Solutions Operations . We are looking for an entrepreneurial COO or a former Forward Deployed Engineer with years of experience. This is a build-the-1-to-10 role: you will take a young, fast-growing function and turn it into the operating system that lets Solutions scale from hundreds to thousands of people without losing what makes it work. You will lead a team of program leads and regional operators across three continents, and work as a business partner to Solutions leadership. What you will do Own the Solutions operating system end to end. One process from pre-sales to post-sales, a single source of truth for people, projects, and opportunities, the Solutions tooling stack, and safety, security, and compliance built into how the team works. Industrialize what already works. Turn delivery and vertical playbooks, staffing frameworks, and the value and ROI methodology into reusable assets the whole team runs on, and drive their adoption in every geography. Build the global operating model. Keep core operations centralized while ensuring real adoption and the right local adaptation across EMEA, the US, and Asia-Pacific, with full-stack regional operators on the ground. Staff demanding customer engagements. Own capacity planning and forecasting, skills-to-project matching, time-to-staff, utilization, and bench health across all geographies. Make customer success measurable. Stand up delivery-outcome measurement and customer-satisfaction systems, and run the feedback loop that turns field learnings into product requirements and reusable IP. Make AI-native operations the default. Build internal tools, agents, and automations that remove manual work from planning, staffing, reporting, and delivery follow-ups, starting with your own team. Lead and grow the team. Hire, mentor, and develop program leads and regional operators, raise the technical bar of the function, and build the hiring plan for its next phase. Partner across functions. Work daily with Solutions leadership, regional Sales leadership, Product and Engineering, RevOps, and Talent Acquisition, and bring executive judgment on where to invest, slow down, or say no. How We Work in Solutions We care about people and outputs. What matters is what you ship. The best idea wins, whether it comes from a principal engineer or someone in their first week. Always ask why. The best solutions come from deep understanding, not copying what worked before. We say what we mean. Feedback is direct and given because we care. No politics. Low ego, high standards. We embrace an unstructured environment and find joy in it. About you Whatever your path, you bring: Extensive leadership experience , with demonstrated impact building and leading teams or functions in a fast-scaling environment. A track record of industrializing something handcrafted but working : processes, systems, and teams that scaled an order of magnitude without losing what made them work. The ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution. You are hands-on and biased toward action. Data-driven and AI-fluent : you build the internal tools, automations, dashboards, and AI workflows you rely on. Global operating range : you work naturally across geographies and cultures, with the executive presence to hold a room with C-level stakeholders and the credibility to challenge senior leaders. Stakeholder management : you align competing priorities and drive decisions without formal authority. Fluent in English ; additional languages are a plus. Ideally Experience in enterprise software, AI, or deep-tech delivery, or top-tier strategy consulting on complex technical transformations. Experience operating at global scale across EMEA, the US, and Asia-Pacific. Hands-on experience building AI-native operations: automating workflows with LLMs and agents rather than prompting a chatbot. MBA or advanced degree preferred. What We Offer We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks. Applied AI Engineer, Beneficial Deployments (Clinical Development, Rare and Neglected Diseases)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
gollmclinicalclinical trialsconcreteclaims+7

About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About Beneficial Deployments Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches and benefits the communities that need it most. We partner with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences — focusing on raising the floor for those who need it most. About the Role We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our Beneficial Deployments, Life Sciences team. This is a partner-facing role: you'll support nonprofits, research institutes, academic medical centres and public-sector funders as they use Claude to get treatments to patients with rare and neglected diseases, where there is little or no commercial incentive to fund development. The role focuses on clinical development, where we think Claude can help these partners today. Trials in these diseases have small patient populations, investigator-led or nonprofit funding and little operational support, and they often stall on protocol quality, operational risk and site start-up. Claude can help teams design better trials and start them sooner. Much of this work is drug repurposing: testing new uses for approved, usually off-patent or generic medicines, whose known safety profiles can let a good hypothesis reach patients years sooner than a new molecule. You'll advise and embed in partners' teams, building alongside their engineers, scientists and clinicians. Responsibilities Work with partners' trial teams to design, review and prioritise clinical trials with Claude: drafting and reviewing protocols and statistical analysis plans, and flagging enrolment and operational risks. Build and validate tools that help partners find new uses for approved, mostly off-patent medicines in rare and neglected diseases, from literature, omics and patient data, and assemble the evidence so the partner can decide the next step. Build reusable infrastructure other institutions can adopt (MCP servers for biomedical data sources, agent skills, benchmarks grounded in real clinical questions), and feed what you learn in the field back to product, engineering and research. You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have Hands-on clinical development experience: designing, running or analysing clinical trials, or assessing clinical evidence to decide which programmes go forward (for example due diligence or asset evaluation). Drug repurposing work as part of that is a strong plus, as is having contributed to a regulatory submission for a trial. Comfort with biomedical data: literature, omics, and real-world patient data (health records, registries, claims), ideally inside secure or trusted research environments. Strong engineering skills: you can take an LLM-powered tool from prototype to production code, and write evals to measure it. Experience working directly with external partners or customers in a technical role. Clear written and verbal communication: docs other institutes can use without you, and results clinicians trust. A scrappy mentality: you're comfortable in ambiguity, wear several hats, and do what it takes to get a result for a partner. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: £225,000 — £255,000 GBP Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you ----- addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. We connect people, data, and processes in one intuitive, feature-rich solution, empowering every team—from Finance to HR—to build, adapt, and align strategic plans in real time. Founded in 2019, Pigment is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies globally. Industry leaders like Unilever, Snowflake, Siemens, and DPD use Pigment daily to make more informed decisions and confidently navigate any scenario. With a team of 600+ across Paris, London, New York, Toronto, San Francisco and Austin, we've raised nearly $400M from top-tier investors and were named a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Financial Planning Software. At Pigment, we take smart risks, celebrate bold ideas, and challenge the status quo—all while working as one team. If you're driven by innovation and ready to make an impact at scale, we'd love to hear from you. The Data & Automations Team The Data & Automations team builds and operates Pigment's internal data platform, and designs, implements, and maintains the intelligent automation solutions that rely on it. Together, they streamline business processes and enhance data-driven decision making: we empower product, business and corporate functions through technology integration, robust data architecture, and process optimization, enabling teams to focus on high-value activities while ensuring accuracy and scalability. The data platform is the foundation of everything we deliver. It is a centralized, governed ecosystem that collects, stores, transforms, and serves data to internal consumers across Product, Go-To-Market (GTM), and General & Administrative (G&A) functions, providing a single source of truth for analytics, automations, and AI. Making it reliable, secure, cost-efficient, and scalable is at the core of our mission. The team also consolidates and orchestrates AI efforts across Pigment, from governance and enablement to building AI-powered solutions. Our team tackles diverse challenges, from integrating finance and HR systems and streamlining employee lifecycle processes, to building pipelines that turn product usage and customer interactions into actionable insights for Finance or GTM teams. AI is now at the center of most of what we do with data: many of our pipelines feed LLM-powered solutions, and the quality, structure, and governance of our data architecture directly determine what these solutions can deliver. The team is led by Pigment's Deputy CISO and works closely with the Security team: security and data governance are part of how we build, not an afterthought. Role As a Junior Data and Automations Engineer, you will contribute to the continued development of Pigment's data platform: ingestion pipelines, dbt models, orchestration, data quality, and the underlying cloud infrastructure. We also build LLM-powered pipelines and use AI tools in our daily engineering work. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills across these technologies while making a meaningful impact on Pigment's operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Data & Automations team's more senior members, you will participate in addressing the following topics. IDnow is a leader in digital identity and fraud prevention in Europe with a mission to transform trust into the most powerful asset in the digital world, empowering enterprises with AI-driven, SaaS-based identity solutions that deliver scalable security, adaptive compliance, and real-time fraud prevention . Through its broad portfolio of digital identity and fraud prevention solutions, IDnow establishes, maintains and enriches trust throughout the customer journey, ensuring businesses can confidently and securely operate while leveraging digital identity to drive growth, security and scalability. The company has offices in Germany, United Kingdom, Romania and France , and is backed by renowned institutional investors, including Corsair Capital and Seventure Partners. Its portfolio of international clients spans a wide range of end markets including financial services, telecommunications, travel & mobility, gaming, and other industries. This position is based in Rennes, France. The Solutions Engineer at IDnow is the client's trusted advisor through pre-sales and integration . You design the solution the client will rely on, you give them confidence that it will work in their environment, and you become the person they turn to for technical and solution decisions. Your focus is the technical side of the journey up to the point where the client is live on our products, and you make that path smooth . This is a hands-on, deeply technical role, and a commercial one . Solutions Engineers carry a quota and are measured on two things: the deals they help win, and whether the client goes live successfully. You work hand in hand with Sales to convince the client that our solution is the right one and to move them toward signature, and then you make sure they can use it well in production. You earn that through technical depth, but you are client-facing, credible and persuasive in a sales motion. You do this across our whole client base. We hire this role at more than one level. The core of the job is the same; the scope you own and the complexity you handle grow with your experience. This role carries real ownership across the client journey, and a say in how the work evolves. Key Responsibilities Discover and Design Lead technical discovery, qualifying conversion rates, false acceptance and rejection trade-offs, fraud exposure and integration constraints before proposing a solution, Design end-to-end solution architectures that orchestrate document verification, digital identity, fraud signals, biometric authentication, eID and EU Digital Identity Wallet flows, and e-signature, Link every technical choice to the client's business objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), so proposals speak to outcomes rather than features, Define defensible architecture decisions covering fallback logic, data residency, scalability and performance, Support Sales with proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), advising on which capabilities to combine and why. Prove, Integrate and Go Live Lead proof-of-concept and pilot engagements, configuring Application Programming Interface (API) integrations, building Postman collections and managing sandbox environments, Validate behaviour under realistic conditions and document what the client needs to go live, Guide client developers through API and mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) integration, including webhooks, authentication and testing, Troubleshoot integration issues by reading logs and diagnosing failures at the API and SDK level, rather than only forwarding them, Maintain a living integration map of the client's architecture, data flows and dependencies, Own the account from signature to go-live, running the go-live plan and handing a documented account to Customer Success and Support at the end of hypercare. Advise and Enable Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders, from first conversation to go-live, Represent the client's technical reality internally, feeding integration blockers, product gaps and pilot learnings back to Product and Sales teams, Work with the internal escalation team on deeper platform issues, arriving with clear technical context, Stand alongside Sales in client meetings, addressing objections on integration effort, feasibility and alternatives, Improve demo environments, architecture templates and integration guides, and mentor team members as the practice grows. Preferred Experience You ask before you propose and qualify before you demo, turning ambiguous client requirements into the right technical solution. You take ownership of the client's technical path from first conversation to production, and you explain complex systems in plain language to engineers and business leaders alike. You combine hands-on engineering depth with a commercial mindset, and you enjoy working alongside Sales to move a decision forward. Engineering or technical degree , a Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or implementation and onboarding in SaaS , ideally in identity, FinTech or security, Discovery and qualification skills , with the ability to turn an ambiguous client requirement into the best technical solution, Solution architecture skills , including designing integration flows, explaining orchestration logic and defending trade-offs with a client's engineers, Hands-on technical skills with APIs, Software Development Kits (SDKs) including mobile, and integration tooling such as Postman and Git, Experience running a proof of concept and debugging an integration at the API or log level, Delivery discipline to run an integration and onboarding through to a committed go-live date, managing several client projects at once, The ability to translate technical complexity into plain language and reassure non-technical stakeholders, Business value awareness , connecting the technical solution to client outcomes such as verification conversion, fraud loss or time to go-live, Client-facing presence, building trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders such as Chief Digital Officers (CDOs) and Heads of Digital, and technical stakeholders such as Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), architects and platform engineers, The instinct to own the client's technical path end to end, Fluent English and full professional French are both hard requirements for the role. Additional European languages are a plus. Nice to Have Familiarity with identity verification, Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, including document verification, biometrics, liveness detection, eID and fraud detection, Interest in where digital identity is heading, including eIDAS 2.0, EU Digital Identity Wallets, the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Experience with mobile SDK delivery on iOS, Android or React Native, Knowledge of web development concepts, including frontend and backend architecture, webhooks and Open Authorisation (OAuth), Experience in mobility, FinTech, banking or other regulated industries, Working knowledge of a programming language such as Python, Java or JavaScript, and of a cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Perks & Benefits Health & Wellbeing: Use your full access to the mental health platform nilo , including 1on1 sessions. We value personal and professional development: make full use of Udemy , our training platform with 24/7 access and unlimited content/course consumption incl. certification. In addition to the perks & benefits above, we offer specific benefits that differ between our locations.
