Sales Manager, SME & Growth
AirwallexUK - Manchester, Germany7 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
goforecastingcoachingtiktokcrmsalesforce+6

About Airwallex Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own. We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full. How you'll make impact As Sales Manager, SME & Growth, you'll lead and coach a pod of Account Executives selling to SMB customers across the UK and selected EMEA territories. You'll own a team quota, run a disciplined sales operating rhythm, and build the pipeline, forecasting and coaching practices needed to deliver in a high-velocity environment. You'll embed MEDDPICC, SPICED or Challenger methodologies, strengthen outbound motions with SDRs and Marketing, and partner with Product, Revenue Strategy & Operations and other teams to shape go-to-market execution and support new market or business-line launches. Own team performance across SMB customers by setting clear expectations for activity, pipeline quality and sales results. Drive a disciplined operating rhythm through pipeline and forecast reviews, deal strategy sessions, call coaching and quarterly business reviews. Build consistent opportunity execution by embedding MEDDPICC, SPICED or Challenger methodologies, rigorous qualification, multi-threading and persona-based messaging. Expand outbound sales motions with SDRs and Marketing by shaping target segments, outreach cadences, content and reporting. Improve forecasting and decision-making through strong CRM hygiene, data quality and visibility into pipeline coverage, conversion, win rates and cycle times. Build team capability by hiring, onboarding, coaching and developing Account Executives, while partnering with Product, Marketing, Revenue Strategy & Operations and other stakeholders on market feedback, local go-to-market strategy and new market or business-line launches. You'll work from our Manchester office three days a week. What we're looking for Essentials 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years as a closing Account Executive selling into SMB or mid-market segments. 2+ years in a frontline sales leadership or team-lead role, managing AEs, carrying a team quota and operating in a high-velocity sales environment. Proven success in an individual contributor AE role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota in B2B sales. Experience in high-growth tech or fintech, ideally with one or more of payments, FX, cards, accounts or spend management products. Experience launching or scaling a new market, region or business line, rather than only inheriting an established book of business. Hands-on experience building outbound sales motions with SDRs and Marketing, including designing cadences, qualification workflows and reporting. Strong, practical command of at least one modern B2B sales methodology such as MEDDPICC/MEDDIC, SPICED or Challenger, and the ability to coach others to use it effectively. Ability to establish and run strong cross-functional reporting cadences, using data and CRM insights to manage performance and communicate risk and opportunity. Proven ability to coach, develop and performance-manage Account Executives, including giving clear feedback and handling under-performance when needed. Preferred Experience selling multi-product fintech or payments platforms, for example combinations of accounts, payments, FX, cards and spend management, to CFO, finance and operations personas. Direct experience implementing or scaling MEDDPICC, SPICED or Challenger methodologies across a sales team or organisation, including building templates, training and inspection frameworks. Background in building or scaling sales teams in new or emerging EMEA markets. Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools and modern sales tech stacks, for example Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft and Gong/Chorus, and using them to drive productivity and insight. Experience collaborating closely with Revenue Strategy & Operations and Enablement to design territories, KPIs and enablement programmes that support high-velocity sales growth. You'll thrive here if You have a track record of hitting your numbers, and you're motivated by stretch goals. You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway. You own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken. You enjoy working closely with people across multiple countries and time zones as part of one connected, global team, including flexing your hours occasionally to make that connection work. You know when to align and when to just decide. Collaboration isn't a way to avoid accountability. Learn more about your team SME & Growth at Airwallex is about more than closing deals. We help small and mid-market businesses solve real financial challenges across borders: getting paid globally, managing multi-currency accounts, paying suppliers, and running spend across markets from a single platform. You're not selling a feature. You're helping founders and finance leaders replace fragmented financial operations with one global system that actually scales. It's a function for sellers who like to build, not follow a script: curious, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out in markets that are still wide open. You get real autonomy to create value, build relationships, and move opportunities forward. If you want to sell a serious product, solve real problems for ambitious businesses, and build your career fast, this is a place to do it. Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process. All official communication will come from an @ airwallex.com email address. Please apply only through careers.airwallex.com or our official LinkedIn page. Senior Channel Sales Manager (w/m/d)
Full TimeOn-siteSenior

Ready to join? Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

As a Team Lead Supply Chain (m/w/d), you will own everything upstream of our warehouses: what we buy, from whom, when it ships and how it lands across Europe, the UK, the US, Australia and Latin America. In this newly created role, you will bring procurement, freight and planning together as one function and build the team behind it, making sure every market has the right stock at the right time, especially going into peak season. What You'll Do Lead and develop the team responsible for procurement, seafreight, inbound logistics, demand & supply planning and customs, and act as the escalation point for supply issues, making decisions at the right level, quickly. Own the end-to-end planning cycle, from demand forecast to purchase plan, container plan and inbound schedule per market, and build one reliable view of inbound stock across all markets. Manage supplier performance, capacity and lead times across our manufacturing base, and support scaling suppliers for new product lines. Run freight procurement and forwarder management, balancing cost, transit time and reliability, and build customs and trade compliance as an in-house capability. Set and report supply chain KPIs such as stock availability, out-of-stock rate, inbound on-time, landed cost and inventory cover, and work closely with Product, Sales and regional operations managers on launches, campaigns and peak planning. Marketing Operations Manager
PleoLondon, Germany7 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid$40,000 - $40,000 / Year
gomental healtharchitecturehubspotsalessdr+3

About Pleo Messy spend management is tricky business. And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike - with a vision to help all businesses 'go beyond'. The word 'Pleo' actually means 'more than you'd expect', and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years. Now, we're at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can't say we've got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that's half the fun! What we can say is that we're a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together. About the role We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Operations, RevOps team at Pleo. In this role, you'll help build the operational infrastructure needed to support our upmarket expansion into Mid-Market and Enterprise segments and be part of our Marketing Ops team as we scale our spend management platform across growth companies in Europe. If you're excited about designing account-based go-to-market systems, establishing AI enablement across operational workflows, and solving complex cross-functional challenges, and are passionate about marketing operations, RevOps, and systems architecture, then this is the opportunity for you! Who you'll be working with and reporting to You'll report to our Associate Director, Marketing Operations and work closely with teams in Marketing Operations, RevOps, and Sales Ops. Our team is highly collaborative and dedicated to powering how the marketing team runs—from campaign operations and reporting cadence through to AI adoption and process improvement. You'll also have the chance to partner with teams across Data, BAT (Business Automation & Tools), CX Ops, and Engineering to ensure success and maintain a single account truth across systems. What you'll be doing As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will: Build and refine marketing operational frameworks – Lead initiatives to continuously improve campaign workflows, request intake, approval processes, team governance, MQL→MQA routing logic, and SDR/BDR handoff processes. Own account intelligence and reporting cadence – Design account scoring models for Mid-Market and Enterprise, maintain executive dashboards, integrate intent/firmographic/behavioral signals into segmentation, and manage account assignment logic. Drive AI adoption across Marketing Ops – Translate AI capabilities into operational reality by building processes, governance, and enablement that accelerate execution and scale output within the team. Ensure tooling health and systems ownership – Manage HubSpot workflows, automations, and integrations while coordinating with BAT and Engineering on tech stack builds, QA standards, and enterprise tooling requirements. Enable team capabilities and documentation habits – Upskill Marketing and Marketing Ops teammates through shared standards, QA checklists, repeatable guides, templates, and onboarding resources to raise the operational floor. What you bring You'll thrive in this role if you have: HubSpot Fluency – A solid understanding of designing workflows, routing logic, and automation in HubSpot, including its limitations and when to extend outside the platform. Account Operations Mindset – Track record of building ABM operational processes, MQL-to-MQA scoring rules, multi-stakeholder buying committee motions, and AI/automation adoption that sticks. Sales Ops Partnership – Ability to collaborate seamlessly with Sales Ops on account strategy, territory strategy, handoff logic, and rep productivity without jargon. Data & Documentation Habits – Excellent habits in building auditable specs, validating data quality, and diagnosing root causes in data flows alongside Data and BAT teams. Experience with multi-touch attribution modeling, lifecycle marketing operations (nurture flows, recycling, engagement scoring), and ABM platforms / account intelligence tools. A background in seeing a company move upmarket to Mid-Market/Enterprise and building scalable, long-term GTM operations. Why is this role a good fit for you This role is a good fit for you if: You are an operational thinker who naturally designs sustainable systems, governance, and frameworks rather than executing quick-fix tasks. You love working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales Ops, and Data teams to streamline GTM processes and remove friction. You are energized by driving practical AI adoption and upskilling team members through documentation, templates, and shared standards. This role is not a good fit for you if: You prefer operating in established, rigid systems rather than designing new account-based infrastructure in ambiguous environments. You look at marketing operations as purely executing inbound lead lists without considering account context or buying committees. You rely on tribal knowledge rather than maintaining clear, auditable documentation and QA standards for your builds. How you'll develop in this role In your first 6 months at Pleo, you'll: Lead the launch of our account segmentation model to directly power SDR assignments and Mid-Market/Enterprise routing. Collaborate with Data and Marketing Ops teams to clean up attribution, reporting, and lifecycle data so performance metrics are fully trusted. Grow your skills in AI enablement, enterprise GTM systems, and cross-functional RevOps alignment, taking on new challenges as the company continues to scale. We're committed to helping you develop your career, whether that means taking on bigger projects, stepping into leadership, or acquiring new skills in advanced RevOps and enterprise go-to-market strategies. The location Please note: We can hire on a hybrid or in-person set-up in any of the locations listed on the advert but you will need to be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work . We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role in any of the listed locations. Show me the benefits! Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis 25 days of annual leave + public holidays (additional days may apply in select countries based on local standards). For our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work The interview process We want to ensure you are set-up for success and understand what will be expected of you. If your application is successful, our interview process is as follows: Intro call: A 30-minute chat with our Talent Partner to discuss the role and your background. Hiring Manager Interview: A 45 mins chat with the hiring manager, to deep dive in your experience and role Pleo Challenge and Team Interview: We will send you a take home test and invite you to present during a 60 minute team interview. This is an opportunity to show us how you would handle the day to day of the role Final Interview: A final interview with a senior leader Transparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what we're looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success! Last time we hired for this role, we received a vast number of applications but only a few were selected for an intro call. Some of the key reasons why previous candidates didn't make it past the application screening stage include: CV writing and content: we receive a lot of CVs, and many of them are AI-generated. We love seeing people leverage AI—it's a big focus for us internally too—but without human intervention, these CVs can sometimes become generic and fail to show a candidate in the best light. What we're really looking for is the specific details of real impact that only you know from your previous experience. A top tip from us is to use the "Achieved X, as measured by Y, by doing Z" formula (credit: Laszlo Bock, ~2014) to give a really clear picture of what you've worked on. A final note: including links to your previous companies' websites is a huge help and allows us to truly understand your background! Application care: every single application we receive is reviewed by a human (yes, hundreds of them) because we believe that candidates' efforts should be matched by an equal level of human care. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process. Profile to role fit: highlight most important aspects of the role, points that might get misunderstood, any specific industry requirements etc. About your application English first. Since it's our company language, please submit your application in English. You'll be using it a lot if you join us. A fair look for everyone. Our talent team reads every single application to ensure the process is fair. To keep things running smoothly, we only accept applications through our system—our support team can't pass on calls or emails. Diversity drives us. We can only reach our goals if our team reflects the world around us. That starts with you hitting apply, even if you don't tick every single box. We encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to join us. Interview at your best. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the process. If you have any accessibility requirements or need a specific format, email ----- We'll design a process that works for you. Your data is safe. When you apply, we process your personal data as a data processor. For more information on how Pleo processes personal data, read our Privacy Policy here . Applying for multiple roles? Nothing is stopping you, and we assess every role independently. However, we do look for alignment, so make sure you can explain why your interest and experience are right for each specific role. Reapplying. If you're applying for the same role again, please wait six months from your last decision before hitting submit. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Senior Sales Operations (SalesOps) Manager
AIHRRotterdam, Netherlands7 days ago

Do you like making it easier for a Sales team to do its best work? Do you enjoy owning the details that keep deals moving, while also spotting where the process could work better? And do you get satisfaction from turning repetitive work into a simpler, smarter way of working? AIHR is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. You'll help support more than €10 million in annual deal value , working closely with Sales leadership while owning the operational processes that move deals from opportunity to collected revenue. About AIHR Founded in 2016 with the mission to future-proof HR, the Academy to Innovate HR (AIHR) has become the world's market leader in online training for human resources (HR) professionals. We have a global customer base spread across 140+ countries, amongst which companies like Unilever, Reckitt, Goldman Sachs, Philips, Deloitte, Nike, Heineken, and UBS. It is our goal to continuously upskill and empower 1,000,000 HR Professionals. We are an international team of 90+ people, driven by excellence, innovation, and a hunger to grow in everything we do. As such, we strive to provide the world's best courses and excellent support to our customers while continuously optimizing every aspect of our work. With over 30 nationalities, our team is diverse, yet we all share a few traits: we're friendly, enthusiastic, and great team players. Being a fast-growing company, working at AIHR means taking on a lot of responsibility and getting countless opportunities to develop yourself in new areas and potential to craft your own role. Role and Responsibilities As our Senior Sales Operations Manager, your job is to make it easier for Sales to do great work. This is a hands-on role with a broad view of the commercial journey. You'll work on how Sales operates, support leadership with better insight, and own processes such as the Deal Desk, vendor registration, invoicing, collections, and order-to-cash. We see those responsibilities as connected. Being close to the day-to-day work gives you the context to see where time is being lost, where a process no longer works, and where the same problem keeps coming back. We want someone who is comfortable doing the work themselves, but who does not simply accept unnecessary manual work because "that's how we do it." This role is a combination of keeping things moving today and making sure they work better tomorrow. Your responsibilities include: Improving how Sales works. You use data, feedback, and your understanding of the day-to-day work to identify where things can be better. That could mean redesigning a workflow, improving reporting, clarifying ownership, creating a better operating rhythm, or removing manual steps that no longer add value. Helping Sales leadership improve performance. You look beyond individual requests and help spot patterns across the Sales organization. Where are deals slowing down? What does the data tell us about why? Are we missing information in HubSpot that would help Sales, Marketing, or leadership make better decisions? You turn those observations into practical recommendations and are comfortable challenging existing ways of working when the data points somewhere else. Owning and improving the Deal Desk. When a deal needs something outside the standard process, you help move it forward. This can include approvals, documentation, commercial questions, vendor or supplier registration, procurement portals, questionnaires, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders. You take care of the immediate need, while also looking for patterns that could make the next request simpler. Owning order-to-cash and collections. You take responsibility for turning booked revenue into collected cash. Collections is a meaningful and hands-on part of the role: monitoring outstanding invoices, following up with customers, picking up the phone when that is the best way to resolve an issue, and working with Sales, Finance, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to clear payment blockers. You also look at the process behind the work — reducing overdue balances, improving follow-up, and finding ways to make order-to-cash more effective over time. Working AI-first. You actively use AI and automation where they can make the work more efficient or improve the quality of the outcome. That might mean analyzing patterns in Sales data, speeding up vendor registration, improving a recurring workflow, or removing repetitive administrative work. As part of RevOps, you are expected to try new approaches, keep what works, and share useful ways of working with the wider team. Connecting the dots across teams. Many commercial processes cross Sales, Finance, Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations, and other parts of the business. You help create clarity around ownership, bring the right people together, and make sure decisions turn into action. You'll work with tools including HubSpot, Gong, Atlassian, QuotaPath, Zapier, Google Workspace , and a growing set of AI tools and internal AI workflows. We do not expect you to arrive as an expert in every system. We do expect you to be comfortable learning how they fit together and questioning whether we are using them in the best way. Success in this role is not simply an empty queue or a dashboard that looks good. It is reliable day-to-day execution combined with steady improvement in how Sales operates. On a typical day On Monday morning, you start by getting a view of the commercial week ahead. You check active deals in HubSpot, outstanding operational requests, the payments inbox, and anything else that needs attention. During the RevOps stand-up with the RevOps team, you talk through priorities. An Account Executive is working on an enterprise opportunity where the customer's procurement team needs AIHR registered as a vendor. Several invoices need follow-up. You have also noticed a group of deals spending longer than expected in one stage of the pipeline. The vendor registration comes first. You use one of our existing AI workflows to help complete the documentation, gather any missing information internally, and get the process moving. While doing that, you notice that part of the information the workflow relies on is out of date. Rather than working around it, you fix the source and make sure the next registration is easier. Later, you turn to the stalled opportunities. You dig into the data, speak with the Sales team, and find that Account Executives are not consistently recording meeting outcomes. That makes it difficult to understand why certain MQLs progress while others do not. The answer may not be "Sales needs to update HubSpot more." You look at why the information is not being captured in the first place and whether the workflow can be made easier for reps while still giving Marketing and leadership the information they need. You believe it's easier to change a process than to change human behaviors. After lunch with colleagues in the office, you spend time on collections. Some invoices need a straightforward reminder. Others need more persistence. You follow up with customers, get on the phone where needed, and work through issues involving purchase orders, invoicing details, procurement processes, or internal ownership. This work is part of the role, not something sitting outside it. And because you are doing it yourself, you see first-hand which issues are one-offs and which ones point to something we should fix. On another day, you sit down with Sales leadership to look at commercial performance. You are not there simply to report what happened. You help interpret what is behind the numbers and what we might do differently. You also regularly connect with Neal, Head of CX & Operations , and colleagues across Business Operations. Some weeks you will spend more time on live operational work; other weeks give you more room to improve reporting, build an automation in Zapier, clean up a process in HubSpot, or work on a broader RevOps project. That balance is part of the role. By Friday, a good week means the work got done: customers were followed up, deals moved forward, Sales had the support they needed, and something in the way we operate is now a little clearer or easier than it was before. We offer A high-impact role working closely with Sales leadership and the wider Business Operations organization; The opportunity to own important commercial processes while also improving how our Sales organization works; Managing a growing deal volume of €10M+ per year across the commercial funnel; Competitive, benchmarked compensation; The opportunity to shape your own day-to-day work; Regular growth talks and support to reach your career goals; Flexible working hours & working from home arrangements; A high degree of autonomy in a vibrant, result-driven, inclusive, and international team; Access to AI tools including the latest AI models so you can automate repetitive work and improve how you operate day to day; A beautiful office right across Rotterdam Central Station (Milleniumtower) and a satellite office in Amsterdam; 26 paid holidays per year + 1 extra day for the first 5 years you work at AIHR Exchange any 2 public holiday days for 2 other days of your choice; Work from anywhere policy, where you can work abroad for 20 days in a calendar year; Pension plan; 4 Trust days per year (ad-hoc recovery days to take whenever you're overwhelmed, exhausted, or need to deal with something personal); Access to OpenUp mental health platform; Personal development budget, training, and we pay for the books you read; All public transport expenses covered (NS Business Card); MacBook + all other equipment you need to do your work; Daily lunch prepared by a chef, regular drinks, and fun team activities; Free access to the office gym. Get a taste of the AIHR experience and check out our AIHR Benefits Guide ! Apply for the job Are you excited to become our Senior Sales Operations (SalesOps) Manager? Then we'd love to hear from you! We are looking to hire for this role as soon as we find an eligible candidate. P.S. Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women tend to apply only when they meet 100% of them. So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point above, please still apply. We'd love to consider you and see if you could be a great fit. Who you are We are looking for someone who combines strong operational execution with commercial awareness. You are comfortable getting into the details and doing repetitive work when it needs to be done. At the same time, you tend to notice when the same issue keeps appearing and start thinking about how to remove it rather than simply processing it faster. You are likely a strong fit if you: Have solid experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, or an end-to-end order-to-cash role within a B2B environment, including hands-on exposure to collections; Understand how B2B Sales processes work and can use data, operational signals, and feedback from Sales to identify where things could improve; Are comfortable owning processes such as the Deal Desk, vendor registration, invoicing, collections, and order-to-cash , even if you have not owned every one of them previously; Are confident working with CRM data, spreadsheets, reporting, and operational tools. Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Gong, Atlassian, QuotaPath, Zapier, or Google Workspace is useful, but curiosity and the ability to learn matter more than knowing our exact stack; Communicate clearly across Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and leadership, and are comfortable raising a different point of view when you believe there is a better way forward. You do not need to match every point perfectly. What matters most is that you can combine ownership, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the judgment to know when to execute the process and when to change it.
