About Mixpanel Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, trusted by more than 29,000 companies to help understand how people use the products they build. By combining powerful analytics with AI that knows your business, Mixpanel helps teams see what's working, diagnose what's not, and decide what to build next. Learn more at mixpanel.com . About the People and Culture Team The Mixpanel People team exists to help every employee do their best work. We build the structure and support that enables a high-performing organization to move fast without losing what makes us Mixpanel - connection, candor, and the values we hold each other to. A core driver of Mixpanel's success is investing in our people and clearing the way for individuals and teams of every background to reach their full potential. The People function leads that work - executing our people strategy, advising senior leadership, and running HR operations with the rigor a high-performing company demands. Within that team, this role owns the EMEA go-to-market population specifically — three offices (London, Barcelona, and Tel Aviv) growing fast enough that the programs supporting them are still being built, not just maintained. About the Role This is a hybrid role based in London, supporting Mixpanel's EMEA business across our London, Barcelona, and Israel offices, embedded with our Go-To-Market leadership team. You'll report to our Global Head of HR Business Partners and operate as a strategic, trusted advisor to EMEA GTM leadership - shaping programs and policy, not just executing them. This is a multi-country role by design. Your GTM population sits across the UK, Spain, and Israel, so working knowledge of employment law and practice in all three is essential - the right call in one market is often the wrong call in another. Experience supporting teams in APAC is a strong plus as our footprint there grows, but it isn't required. Responsibilities Serve as the primary People Business Partner for Mixpanel's EMEA GTM leadership team, operating as a strategic, trusted advisor on org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy. Proactively coach and partner with GTM people managers and leaders across EMEA to build, lead, and grow high-performing teams. Lead complex, multi-country change initiatives — reorgs, comp cycles, policy rollouts — from strategy through communication, partnering with stakeholders to build buy-in rather than just announcing outcomes. Investigate and resolve employee relations matters across the UK, Spain, and Israel, balancing legal risk, company principle, and individual dignity. Turn workforce data — attrition, engagement, performance — into a business case leaders act on, not just a report they skim. Collaborate with the broader People team on programs that elevate the employee experience company-wide, bringing an EMEA- and GTM-specific point of view to global design. Maintain fluency in HR principles, practices, and regulatory environments across the UK, Spain, and Israel to recommend policy with confidence. Build automation and AI into your own workflows and the team's — using it to move faster on the transactional work so there's more time for the judgment calls that need a person. We're Looking For Someone Who Has 8+ years of experience in HR/People roles, including 5+ years as a dedicated People/HR Business Partner, ideally supporting Sales or go-to-market organizations. Working knowledge of employment law and HR practice in the UK, Spain, & Israel — experience in all 3 regions preferred but required in UK & Spain. Deep functional experience in two or more HR areas: talent management, employee relations, employee experience, compensation, organizational development, or HR policy. A track record of leading through ambiguity and owning multi-country problems end to end. Strong analytical and project management skills, with sound commercial judgment and empathy in equal measure. Fluency with AI and automation tools, and a habit of using them to create efficiency in your own work rather than waiting for someone else to build the solution. Excellent, direct communication — the kind that earns trust even in hard conversations. Bonus Points For Experience supporting APAC teams or navigating employment practice in other European markets. #LI-Hybrid Benefits and Perks Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Care Mental Wellness Benefit Generous Vacation Policy & Additional Company Holidays Enhanced Parental Leave Volunteer Time Off Additional US Benefits: Pre-Tax Benefits including 401(K), Wellness Benefit, Holiday Break please note that benefits and perks for contract positions will vary Culture Values Make Bold Bets: We choose courageous action over comfortable progress. Innovate with Insight: We tackle decisions with rigor and judgment - combining data, experience and collective wisdom to drive powerful outcomes. One Team: We collaborate across boundaries to achieve far greater impact than any of us could accomplish alone. Candor with Connection: We build meaningful relationships that enable honest feedback and direct conversations. Champion the Customer: We seek to deeply understand our customers' needs, ensuring their success is our north star. Powerful Simplicity: We find elegant solutions to complex problems, making sophisticated things accessible. Why choose Mixpanel? Mixpanel's pioneering event-based data analytics platform offers a powerful yet simple solution for companies to understand user behaviors and easily track overarching company success metrics. Our accomplished teams continuously facilitate our expansion by tackling the ever-evolving challenges tied to scaling, reliability, design, and service. We've immersed ourselves in our Culture and Values as our guiding principles for the impact we want to have and the future we are building.

Your Impact at LILA We're building a talent-dense, high-agency AI safety team at Lila that will engage all core teams within the organization (science, model training, lab integration, etc.), to identify and mitigate risks from scientific superintelligence while retaining the core scientific discovery capabilities of the stack. The initial focus of this team will be to build and implement a bespoke safety strategy for Lila, tailored to its specific goals and deployment strategies. This will involve technical safety strategy development, broader ecosystem engagement, safety-focused evaluations, safety systems to mitigate risks, and a research agenda that explores longer-term needs such as oversight of superintelligent scientific systems. You will conduct original computational biology research for AI safety and build an integrated understanding of biological risks. You will investigate how capabilities across large language models, specialized biological models, agents and automated laboratories combine to change what is biologically feasible. Our work spans protein and nucleic-acid design, cellular systems and biological delivery; we welcome other specialisms that bring relevant scientific depth and risk judgment. What You'll Be Building Formulate and pursue original computational biology research questions relevant to safety, developing computational approaches and designing and running studies that generate new evidence about biological capabilities, risks and safeguards. Build and update an integrated picture of risks, examining how capabilities across LLMs, specialized biological models, agents and automated laboratories interact within scientific workflows and change practical constraints. Combine your research with literature, model assessments, experimental findings and expert input to judge biological feasibility, uncertainty and the significance of emerging capabilities for misuse. Identify gaps in expertise, frame questions for external specialists and critically integrate their findings with support from the expert-program team. Translate scientific risk judgments into dual-use policy boundaries, evaluation priorities and mitigation requirements that preserve beneficial biological research. Work with threat modelers, automated-safety researchers, experimental scientists and mitigation engineers to design informative evaluations and red-teaming studies, test assumptions and assess safeguards. What You'll Need to Succeed Deep expertise (a PhD, or comparable experience) in computational biology or a related quantitative biological discipline, with a record of original research from question formulation and computational study design through to defensible findings. Substantive experience assessing biological dual-use risks, with a strong understanding of relevant harmful applications, including pathogen- or toxin-related risks or other consequential biological misuse. Prior experience applying biological expertise to AI safety through analysis informing threat models, evaluation or red-teaming work, or mitigation design. Sound judgment about the relationship between computational predictions, biological function and experimental evidence, including uncertainty and the limits of your expertise. Strong quantitative analysis and scientific programming skills, with the ability to develop computational approaches, run reproducible studies and critically investigate model outputs and biological data. The ability to investigate unfamiliar questions, identify appropriate specialists and communicate defensible conclusions across scientific, engineering and policy teams. Bonus Points For Experience connecting biological modeling or design to experimental validation, including workflows combining LLMs, specialized models, agents or laboratory automation. Experience commissioning specialist research or coordinating external scientific collaborators. Compensation We offer competitive base compensation with bonus potential and generous early-stage equity. Your final offer will reflect your background, expertise, and expected impact. U.S. Benefits. Full-time U.S. employees receive a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer-paid life and disability insurance; flexible time off with generous company wide holidays; paid parental leave; an educational assistance program; commuter benefits, including bike share memberships for office based employees; and a company subsidized lunch program. International Benefits. Full-time employees outside the U.S. receive a comprehensive benefits program tailored to their region. USD salary ranges apply only to U.S.-based positions; international salaries are set to local market. Health can't wait . Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that's exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can't. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it's coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It's not solely a question of willpower. It's the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture . We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. The M&A and International Expansion role Alan is diversifying its activities in the fields of healthcare, prevention and insurance through mergers and acquisitions, and is actively expanding internationally. In addition, Alan recruits talent worldwide and enables its employees to work remotely in complete safety. "Alaner, everywhere". The role makes sure each acquisition and each country opening is legally secure, fast and humane: from HR due diligence, to transferring employment contracts, to fully integrating the people who join us. You'll join the Expansion crew inside the People team. You'll work closely with the crew owner, and with Corporate, Finance, team Leads and General Managers involved in each deal. The People team The People team is made up of 13 people who work in an environment shaped by Alan's Leadership Principles. Every one of them is a genuine fan of our products (Culture being one of them) and deeply committed to Alan's Prevention and Health mission. The team covers Learning and Development, Payroll and Admin, Employee Experience and Operational Efficiency, Compliance and Employment Law, Comp and Ben, and now M&A and International Expansion. It is a generalist team: everyone shares three core missions, namely People on-call (answering the day to day questions from Alaners, which is now AI-powered), individual situation management, and HRBP responsibilities. This represents roughly 50% of our time. Then each person owns one or more cross-functional topics depending on their flavour. In your case: M&A and expansion. Your missions On top of the core missions shared across the People team, you will work on a very diverse range of high-impact topics: You will own to the People workstream of M&A transactions from due diligence to integration, alongside the crew and in close collaboration with the Corporate team, Legal, Finance and the business owners of each deal. Depending on the nature of the deal, you will own: HR due diligence: reviewing headcount, employment contracts, collective agreements, compensation & benefits, liabilities and risks of target companies, and flagging red flags clearly to the deal team; Transferring employment contracts in France and abroad, and choosing the right path for each deal and country; Integrating acquired teams: day-1 and first-months plans, harmonising contracts and benefits, communicating with acquired employees, onboarding them into Alan's way of working; You will support the people transition of acquired teams, working with the crew and leads on team set-up, keeping key talents, and supporting every individual situation with care; Working with external advisors (law firms, HR advisory, relocation and EoR providers): writing clear briefs and challenging their advice. Also: Opening new countries on the People side : entity vs employer of record, compliant local contracts, benefits and payroll partners You will handle international relocations and cross-border situations for Alaners moving or working between countries (visas, social security, tax, type of contract); Building reusable playbooks (HR due diligence checklist, integration playbook, "country opening – People" checklist) so each new deal is faster than the last Taking on global and cross-border individual situations (mobility, work from anywhere, sensitive cases) Raising the team's expertise : sharing your knowledge of employment law and M&A practices with the crew and the wider People team Leveraging AI and automation to multiply the impact of your work Outcomes within your first months in the team By 2.5 months: You are autonomous on day-to-day People on-call requests; You have mapped our current M&A and country-opening practices and shared a first list of gaps and quick wins; You have contributed to the People workstream of at least one live deal or country opening (due diligence, contract transfer or integration); You have contributed to our reusable playbook (e.g. HR due diligence checklist); You have shadowed and been reverse-shadowed on individual situation management. By 5 months: Depending on the ongoing projects, you own the People workstream of a deal end to end, from due diligence to integration, with the crew as a sounding board; You have run, or co-run, one talent density assessment and the parting ways cases that came with it; You handle cross-border individual situations without supervision; Your playbooks are used by the crew and by Legal / Finance on new deals; Leads and crew members come to you as the go-to expert on these topics. Is this what you are looking for? You may be a great fit for this role if: You have around 5 years of experience focused on HR M&A and integration topics, for example in a reputable HR advisory firm or in an HR team that focuses on these topics. You have worked on acquisitions in the Tech industry, not only on very large corporate groups, and you know the method is not the same. You master HR due diligence and the transfer of employment contracts. You have worked on post-merger integration, including talent density and parting ways, not only on the pre-signing side. You have international exposure: you have worked on deals or entities outside France. You are fluent in English, written and spoken (all of our internal processes, documentation and communications are in English). You are adaptable and creative: you adjust your method to each type of company and deal instead of copy-pasting one process. You are very organised: you run several confidential workstreams in parallel without dropping balls. You are a strong communicator, with very different audiences (founders, acquired employees, leads, lawyers), in writing and orally. You are strong technically and can teach us things. You show judgement and discretion with confidential information and sensitive human situations. Nice-to-have We are not looking for all of the below. Any one of these can be a strong signal. You have a legal background, ideally in employment law. You have worked in or with a Tech scale-up that made several acquisitions. You have opened entities or set-up employers of record in new countries. You speak another language relevant to our expansion (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese; Arabic). You are AI-enthusiastic and actively use tools to multiply your impact. Level range For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-D level range. Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
