This is the infrastructure seat on a small data platform team. You will own the AWS footprint, the deployment path, and the access model that lets a data pipeline read from production systems safely. We hold a high bar here — declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and tightly scoped production access — and you will be designing within that model from day one. Why this role, specifically Plenty of platform roles are about keeping existing infrastructure running. This one is about building the path that lets a new platform touch production data at all — in an environment with protected health information, multiple tenants, and systems clinicians rely on overnight. That constraint is the interesting part. "Give the pipeline database access" is easy anywhere without rules. Doing it with least-privilege credentials, a fully auditable deployment path, and no manual escape hatches is an actual engineering problem, and it is the one you would own. You will also be doing it at the start, when the decisions are still open — rather than inheriting someone's access model and being asked to defend it. What you will do Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined as code Build and maintain the deployment path, using GitOps and continuous delivery Design least-privilege access to production data sources — credentials, network routes, and permissions that hold up to scrutiny Stand up observability for the platform so reliability is built in rather than added later Administer the Kubernetes workloads the platform runs on Partner with our security team, which matters here given protected health information and multiple tenants Automate the operational work rather than performing it by hand What you bring Depth in AWS is the core requirement for this role: Networking — VPC design, cross-region and cross-account data movement, private connectivity, VPN IAM — able to design least-privilege access, not only apply an existing policy Databases — RDS, Aurora, SQL Server, including read replicas Storage — S3, including access patterns and bucket policy Alongside that: Terraform or CDK to a production standard Kubernetes administration, and GitOps delivery with Argo CD or similar Ownership of CI/CD pipelines A preference for automation over manual intervention, including autoscaling and self-healing rather than hands-on fixes Nice to have Cloud data warehouse platform administration Database replication, particularly SQL Server Managed message infrastructure (RabbitMQ, Amazon MQ) Healthcare or another regulated, audited environment Why Join PerfectServe? At PerfectServe, we are transforming healthcare communication and collaboration to help clinicians deliver better care. You'll work with a dedicated and mission-driven team in an environment that values growth, transparency, and innovation. We offer a salary range of $140,000-160,000 USD per year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team. The salary range listed for this role reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. compensation will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's experience, skills, and the specific team or product area they support. We regularly review compensation across the company to ensure fairness and consistency. If you are a current employee and have questions about how your compensation aligns with our ranges, we encourage you to speak with your manager or People Operations. Benefits: Remote first work environment Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance options available day one. 401K - with match and immediately vested. 17 company holidays, 2 floating holidays plus competitive paid time off policy Internal Advancement Opportunities PerfectServe offers unified healthcare communication solutions to help physicians, nurses, and care team members provide exceptional patient care. The Mission We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and highly proactive Operations Analyst to join our Service Delivery Operations team. This role operates at the intersection of workforce planning, staffing, capacity management, delivery operations, and operational intelligence. The Operations Analyst will help translate business demand into workforce and operational decisions by analyzing capacity, skills, utilization, pipeline, delivery needs, and operational risk. You will partner across Delivery, Sales, Talent, Finance, and other business functions to identify constraints, surface risks, recommend actions, and drive decisions through execution. This role will increasingly focus on exception management, analytical judgment, workforce optimization, and decision support rather than transactional coordination and manual reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker who can operate independently in ambiguity, connect information across multiple parts of the business, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and turn data into clear recommendations and action. Your Assignment Manage day-to-day operational activities for an assigned area of the business, developing a strong understanding of its demand, workforce, capacity, staffing needs, delivery risks, and business priorities. Analyze demand, capacity, skills, utilization, availability, pipeline, bench, and delivery requirements to identify risks, constraints, opportunities, and recommended actions. Manage staffing and resource-allocation workflows from demand identification through assignment, applying established governance while balancing customer needs, skills alignment, utilization, and enterprise capacity. Partner with Delivery, Sales, Talent, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate business demand into workforce plans and provide data-driven staffing, capacity, and hiring recommendations. Identify and proactively escalate capacity constraints, staffing conflicts, bench risk, skills gaps, forecast variance, and other operational exceptions with recommended actions—not simply status updates. Develop and maintain workforce and operational intelligence that enables leadership to understand trends, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions required across the business. Use AI, automation, analytics, and operational systems to reduce manual work, improve data quality, identify patterns, and increase the speed and quality of operational decision-making. Identify, design, and implement process and workflow improvements that increase scalability, accountability, and operational effectiveness. Maintain strong operational governance and data integrity across staffing, capacity, forecasting, project lifecycle, and delivery systems. Support end-to-end delivery operations, including Sales-to-Delivery transitions, resource planning, staffing assignments, project setup and closeout, and engagement data integrity. Own recurring capacity, staffing, and forecasting reviews for assigned business areas, ensuring leadership receives decision-ready insights rather than transactional reporting. Work independently within established operating frameworks, proactively resolving issues and escalating exceptions that require broader business tradeoffs or leadership decisions. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 3–5 years of experience in an operations, resource management, workforce planning, staffing, or capacity planning role within a consulting or professional services environment. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze business problems, identify root causes, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend appropriate actions. Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting utilization, capacity, availability, demand, pipeline, forecasting, and other operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, operate effectively in ambiguity, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and proactively drive work through resolution. Strong business judgment and communication skills, with the ability to connect information across functions and translate data and findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership. Experience with professional services and resource management systems such as Certinia PSA and Salesforce, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with AWS, cloud consulting, or technology professional services environments. Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI. Exposure to GenAI and automation tools used to improve operational workflows, analysis, or decision-making. Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel. Benefits Pay in USD 100% remote work Generous holidays and flexible PTO Competitive phantom equity Paid for exams and certifications Peer bonus awards State of the art laptop and tools Equipment & Office Stipend Individual professional development plan Annual stipend for Learning and Development Work with an amazing worldwide team and in an incredible corporate culture NOTE: This position requires current legal authorization to work in the country where this position is located.
