Head of Product Our mission for you European energy costs are 2x compared to US and China. Electricity demand is expected to double by 2050. Market price volatility & complexity are here to stay. The backbone of Europe's industrial economy is at risk — and companies need to act now. trawa is building the solution: the first integrated B2B energy platform that orchestrates procurement, energy management, and flexibility steering in one product. Supply, Manage, Flex — combined. That integration unlocks up to 30% in recurring electricity cost savings — all while helping companies switch to renewable energy. We're the fastest-growing B2B energy platform in Europe. Active in Germany and Austria now, and expanding operations to a third market in 2027. We're on the road to European scale and move fast — the market window is open and we intend to own it. trawa is a scale-up based in Berlin with ~100 FTE, ~30 of whom work in Product & Tech. We've raised over €35M to date, including a €24M Series A in May 2025, backed by Balderton, Headline, Speedinvest, AENU, Magnetic, and Tiny VC. All three founders are on board and 100% committed to build the utility of the future. We're looking for a Head of Product to own vision, strategy, and execution across the entire customer journey. You'll report directly to the CEO, with close collaboration with the CTO and COO. You will join the leadership team alongside other department leaders. You'll shape the product that makes European industry competitive again — and you'll do it at pace. This role is based in Berlin. trawa is an "office first" company, which means you will work from the headquarters in Berlin with our international, dynamic team. Your team You will lead a well-established team of 6 Product Managers and Designers embedded in 6 interdisciplinary teams in Product & Engineering. You will be the key decision-maker for what the teams work on. Our main customer segment is the German Mittelstand, therefore fluent German is required for this position. You'll drive the evolution of three key areas: Product Vision & Strategy: Own the product vision for the customer-facing products and roadmap across Supply, Manage, and Flex. Turn market dynamics and customer pain into a clear, prioritized strategy that compounds value across products. Internal products such as Trading platform as well as Energy Utility Platform are out of scope for this role. Value Delivery at Scale: Drive execution across teams, products, and geographies. Own the metrics that matter. Turn data into decisions and trade-offs into momentum. Team & Organisation: Build and lead high-performing product teams. Partner with Engineering, Design, GTM, and Operations. Create an environment where exceptional people do their best work. Who we are looking for Product Vision Leader: You deeply understand customer problems and translate them into a compelling product vision that aligns the entire company. You communicate strategy with clarity and conviction. You rally cross-functional teams around shared goals. Product Excellence: You have excelled as a Product Leader (Staff, Head of, VP) at a fast-paced scale-up. Proven track record of shipping products customers love that drive measurable business results. Value Delivery at Scale: You lead teams that deliver value at scale — shipping regularly, holding themselves accountable to outcomes, not just output. You set the bar for execution quality and speed across products, teams, and markets. Software Builder: Expert in building B2B software products, ideally experienced with working with customers in the Commercial & Industrial segment. You understand and master software product dynamics — activation, retention, pricing and upsell along the full customer lifecycle. Seasoned Executor: You deliver in high-paced environments with clear target achievement. You thrive in uncertainty — creating structure, driving momentum, and turning ambiguity into action. You prioritize with clarity and ship relentlessly. AI-Native Builder: At trawa, we embrace new technology and use it to our competitive advantage. Core decision processes in trading and energy operations run on AI-based predictions. Customer success, sales enablement as well as Operations are fueled by agentic workflows. We are reinventing what a modern utility looks like — driving cost-to-serve toward €0 and increasing trading profits through AI-based signal processing. You will have the mandate and the environment to reinvent product development, tooling, and ways of working with AI across the organization. Energy Expert (Strong Plus): Deep energy market expertise is beneficial — but not a prerequisite. At trawa, we're dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly, we encourage you to apply — you may be the right fit for this or another opportunity. 90 Day Goals After 6 Weeks (Onboarding): You deeply understand trawa's business and product You have established your philosophy of running Product & Tech teams' delivery You shape new quarterly roadmap and OKR plans for your teams Month 3 (Ramp-Up): You have assembled the company around your product vision for the entire customer journey Your vision for the customer journey comes to live - first key metrics are moved Your teams follow your rhythm of value delivery in fast measurable iterations Why us? Impact: European SMEs spend between €150k and €10M per year on electricity — most are overpaying and locked into outdated procurement. Your product will directly change how thousands of companies buy, manage, and use energy. The impact is measurable, the market is massive, and the timing is now. The Role: This is a rare opportunity to own product end-to-end at a company where product is the business. You won't be managing a feature backlog — you'll be shaping a platform that spans energy trading, real-time asset steering, and enterprise software. Few product roles in Europe offer this combination of complexity, commercial impact, and speed. Responsibility & Support: You'll join the leadership team with direct impact on company strategy. We support you through regular leadership sessions, cross-department leadership initiatives, and experienced mentors who want to see you succeed. Ownership: We empower our team members to take ownership of their work and drive results, regardless of background or experience level. Learning & Growth: We provide an annual budget and dedicated time for professional development. You'll have opportunities for mentorship, learning, and career progression. Diversity and Inclusion: We're an equal opportunity employer, and our team reflects that. Our organisation brings together over 15 nationalities, contributing a variety of languages, experiences, and perspectives. At trawa, we're family-friendly with parents across all levels, and our diversity is represented throughout the company, including leadership. We're committed to an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work. Package & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package including salary and stock options, 30 days of vacation, and a range of benefits including subsidies for home internet and lunches, a Sports Club membership, dedicated learning days with an annual learning budget, plus a weekly team lunch and regular team events. Atolls is the world's largest community-driven shopping platform, active in 20+ markets. We help millions make smarter spending decisions across discovery, evaluation, and (re-)purchase by connecting people with the right brands and retailers. Our 1,000+ team across 10 countries builds products used every day at global scale, where you'll have real ownership and see your impact. Want to shape the destinations people rely on to shop with confidence? Keep reading. About This Role: We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of our Gift Cards vertical - one of the fastest-growing parts of our alternative offers, spanning gift card purchase, redemption, provider partnerships, and cross-market growth across France, Germany, and Spain. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You'll set the strategy for a business line generating triple-digit YoY growth in some markets, own the commercial relationships with our gift card providers, and work directly with our Fulfilment leadership on where the vertical goes next. You'll also work closely with - and may grow into ownership of - adjacent parts of our Alternative Offers and in-store rewards portfolio. We want a strong senior product leader: someone who has built and scaled products at a leading tech company and/or a startup, who thinks and acts like an entrepreneur, and who can move a commercial product forward with minimal hand-holding. Our Benefits: At Atolls, we believe in nurturing both your professional and personal growth. Here's what you can expect: A culture that values personal and professional development, with internal mobility opportunities. A supportive and open-minded team that embraces diverse perspectives and innovative ideas. 32 days of paid vacation plus your birthday off, giving you the time you need to recharge. A flexible hybrid working scheme to balance work and life. Access to a learning budget and internal training to help you grow in your role. Mental health coaching to support your well-being. Regular global and local get-togethers to celebrate successes and build connections. The possibility of taking a sabbatical after three years with the company. A cloud-based company setup, providing flexibility and collaboration opportunities no matter where you are. These are global benefits that apply to all employees, with additional local perks based on your location. Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Own the gift card product strategy and roadmap - from provider selection and inventory quality to the end-to-end purchase, redemption, and admin experience. Lead commercial and provider negotiations - framework agreements, commission structures, SLAs, and multi-entity contracting with gift card providers (e.g. Finperks, Tillo), in partnership with Operations, Legal and Finance. Drive revenue growth across markets - set and deliver GMV and commission targets across France, Germany, and Spain, backed by rigorous transaction-level analysis. Partner cross-functionally - work daily with engineering, design, data, CRM, and adjacent product teams to ship a coherent gift card experience across web, app, and browser extension. Own delivery end to end - set the roadmap, own the backlog, and take each bet from discovery to launch with engineering, design and data: frame the problem, write the specs and user stories, prioritise sprint by sprint, make the scope calls, and measure what shipped. This is a hands-on build role, not a coordination role. Use data to lead, not just report - build and refine models (e.g. fraud-tier scoring), validate revenue and performance data with Finance, and identify the next highest-impact bet. Represent the vertical at the leadership level - bring clear recommendations and trade-offs to cross-team and leadership forums, and help shape Alternative Offers' broader strategic direction. Build for scale - help expand gift cards from a standalone catalogue page into a fully integrated offer type across the platform. Your Profile: 5+ years in product management , including significant time owning a product or business line end-to-end at a leading tech company and/or a startup. A strong entrepreneurial track record - you've built something from close to zero, made judgment calls with imperfect data, and taken ownership beyond your formal remit. Commercial fluency - comfortable owning revenue targets, running vendor/partner negotiations, and thinking in margin, commission, and unit economics, not just features. Strong analytical skills - fluent working with transaction and revenue data to make and defend decisions; comfortable partnering with data/finance teams on models like fraud scoring. Proven cross-functional leadership - experience leading engineering, design, and data counterparts in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, without formal authority over them. Hands-on product delivery - you have recently (last 2 to 3 years) taken features from problem to production yourself, working day to day with engineers and designers: running discovery, writing the specs, owning backlog and sprint priorities, and making trade-offs when scope, time or data ran short. You are as comfortable in the detail as at the roadmap level. Excellent stakeholder management - able to influence and present confidently to senior/executive stakeholders. A degree from a top-tier university (e.g. Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, HEC Paris, ESSEC, Sciences Po, Bocconi, ETH Zurich, or equivalent); an MBA or further qualification from a leading program is a plus. As an AI Product Manager Intern at Reonic, you'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and our customers. You'll help make sure new features are tested thoroughly, releases run smoothly, and customer feedback continuously makes its way back into the product development process. This is not a coffee-run internship: you'll take on real ownership from day one and work closely with engineers and other teams to improve both our product and the way we build and release it. Please note: This is a fully onsite internship in Augsburg for 4–6 months. What you'll do Support release testing: Help coordinate testing for upcoming releases and continuously test new features during development. Identify issues early and give clear, actionable feedback to engineering. Help coordinate software releases: Keep track of features, changes, dependencies, and release timelines. Act as a communication hub between product, engineering, and other teams. Improve product quality: Look beyond whether a feature technically works. Think about edge cases, usability, customer workflows, and how changes affect the overall product experience. Turn feedback into action: Triage user feedback and bug reports, investigate and reproduce issues, and translate your findings into clear, well-described tickets for engineering. Communicate what's new: Write release notes, help run internal demos, and make sure colleagues understand what has changed and how new functionality works. Work closely with engineering: Collaborate with engineers throughout the development process, ask the right questions, and help remove ambiguity before features reach customers. Understand our customers: Build a deep understanding of the businesses using Reonic and use that context to contribute to better product decisions. What makes you a great fit Product mindset: You naturally think beyond checklists. You want to understand why something is being built, who it is for, and what makes it useful. Attention to detail: You spot inconsistencies, edge cases, and potential issues before they become customer problems. Strong communication: You communicate clearly with engineers, product colleagues, and other stakeholders. Professional fluency in English (C1+) is required. Technical curiosity: You enjoy understanding how software works and aren't afraid to dig into technical details, investigate bugs, or learn new concepts. Hands-on with AI tools: Coding isn't required, but you've already vibe-coded a thing or two. You can quickly build a rough prototype to show engineers how a more complex feature could work, so they get a clear picture before the real build starts. Customer orientation: You care about the experience of the people using the product and can turn qualitative feedback into actionable insights. Ownership: You take responsibility, follow things through, and don't wait for someone else to solve a problem you can help solve yourself. Startup mindset: You're comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and processes are still being built. Student status: You're currently enrolled at a university and available full-time for 4–6 months. A background in economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field is helpful, but not required. Nice to have: First experience through internships, working student jobs, or university projects in product management, product operations, QA, software development, or B2B SaaS. Why join us? Real impact: Help build software that enables businesses to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. A product people use: Our platform is already used by 3,000+ paying B2B customers, so your work will reach real users. Learn fast: Get hands-on experience in product management at a fast-growing startup, with close mentorship from our product and engineering team. High ownership: Nothing is set in stone. You'll have room to shape how we work and how the product evolves, even as an intern. A great international team: We work hard, learn from each other, and make sure we have fun along the way. Great setup: MacBook, gym membership subsidy, regular team events, coffee, Deutschland ticket and other perks. Fair compensation: We offer a competitive internship salary. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply! Imposter syndrome shouldn't hold you back. We value talent and passion above all. About Reonic At Reonic, we're on a mission to simplify renewable technology. Our AI operating system helps renewable energy installers run and grow their businesses, from planning and selling solar, battery storage, and heat pump solutions to managing their day-to-day operations. Today, more than 3,000 businesses use Reonic, and we're growing fast. Location & duration This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Augsburg for 4–6 months .
