Take accountability for a suitable solution deployment strategy (Customer, Partner or Cloudflare Professional services) being an integral part of all proposals. Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation, but not execute the implementation, serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for the customer. Design structured migration and onboarding blueprints tailored to the customer's environment (e.g. DNS migrations, Zero Trust rollouts, WAF tuning guidance), and act as the lead consultant for customer engineering teams, walking them step-by-step through configuration best practices. Partner with Account Executives to own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy. Proactively monitor customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value, resolve integration bottlenecks, and reduce deployment risk. Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth. Be commercially accountable for ensuring deep platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data. Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-level executives. Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, maintaining a continuous, deep relationship with key stakeholders from initial onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion. Provide thought partnership on architecture, AI control layers, security posture, and deployment confidence. Identify potential deployment risks or integration bottlenecks early, and provide remediation strategies to de-risk customer outcomes. AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Leverage AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and internal platforms to automate routine tasks such as RFP/Security Questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, basic telemetry monitoring, and internal/external documentation, reclaiming your time for strategic customer advisory. Education & Enablement: Partner closely with the Enablement Team to design, build, and govern technical resources. Define, document, and educate both internal teams and customers on deliverables such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architectural best practices, and technical guides to continuously raise the technical baseline across the organization. Minimum Qualifications Experience: Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or as a Forward Deployed Engineer (years of experience required will vary based on Associate, Senior, Staff, or Principal leveling). Architectural Mindset: Ability to white-board, design, and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures clearly. Consultative & Advisory Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deeply technical concepts into business outcomes for both hands-on engineers and C-level executives. Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles. Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between deep technical implementation details and high-level C-suite business strategy. Qualified candidates will demonstrate depth in at least four of the technical areas below: Internet fundamentals: Deep understanding of how the Internet works, including OSI Model layers 1–7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS. Performance: Expertise in the performance of Internet properties, including speed, latency, caching, video streaming, HTTP/2, and TLS 1.3. AI Proficiency: Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted scripting and log analysis, LLM utilization, and workflow automation to augment everyday CE workflows. Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go, or similar languages to write custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions. Developer Platform Fluency: Experience designing, building, deploying or scaling applications using RESTful/GraphQL APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and developer tooling in cloud-native environments. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD pipelines, and observability for developer-led deployments. Strongly Preferred Qualifications (The "Good-to-Haves") Technical Enablement: Track record of creating and delivering technical enablement - workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding - that accelerates customer adoption of complex platforms. Applied AI Knowledge: Experience with LLM orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and model-access controls. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join Our Product Marketing Managers work backwards from the ideal experience for guests and hosts, turning product thinking, data, and research into strategy. They lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data science, program management, and marketing, and they stay detail-oriented and hands-on. The Guest product team builds the end-to-end journey guests take with us, from the first idea through the trip itself. Trips is where that journey comes together: the place guests see their reservations, plan what to do, coordinate with their group, and add experiences and services to their stay. The Difference You Will Make Airbnb is expanding beyond stays into experiences and services. Trips is where that growth happens: guests who have already booked a stay discover and book everything else for their trip. As Product Marketing Manager for Trips, you'll help build that business from its early stages into a habit for millions of guests. You'll own the feature roadmap across much of the Trips program and make the calls on scope and priority with your design and engineering teams. You'll lead those teams from brief to launch, use a steady cadence of experiment results to decide what to build next, and grow the share of trips that include experiences, services, and more. You'll also craft the product narrative that explains each release to leadership internally and to guests externally. A Typical Day Translate business goals into product briefs and requirements for new Trips features, each grounded in a real guest need Drive execution with engineering, design, data science, and program management, from concept through launch and iteration, often with many features in flight at once Shape how and when we suggest the next booking: in-app placements, personalized ranking, offers, and lifecycle messaging across the guest's trip Work with supply, partnerships, and operations teams so the experiences, services, and partner offerings guests see are relevant, available, and easy to book Partner with data scientists and engineers on the experiments they run in product, synthesize the outcomes, and make clear calls on what to scale, iterate on, or stop Make prioritization calls when guest experience, business impact, and engineering cost pull against each other, and keep partners aligned Present strategy and results in leadership reviews, turning complex tradeoffs into clear decisions and concise narratives Your Expertise 8+ years in product marketing or product management, with a track record of moving a core growth metric (conversion, attach, frequency, or revenue per customer) through features you led to launch Strong execution: you've led cross-functional teams through complex launches on time and at a high quality bar, often with several features in flight at once Experience working on two-sided marketplaces or multi-product platforms, balancing what's right for customers with what makes supply and partners successful Fluent in experiment results: you can define what a test needs to learn, read growth metrics alongside guardrails like satisfaction and retention, and turn them into product decisions Strong judgment of consumer product quality, and a clear sense of what makes an experience useful and delightful Ability to earn the trust of engineering, design, and data science partners and lead without formal authority Clear, structured communicator who can distill complex tradeoffs for executives and translate strategy into actionable guidance for teams Experience at a fast-growing consumer marketplace, launching a new category or business line (preferred) Your Location We are open to candidates in multiple locations, but we ask that you are able to work Pacific Time Zone work hours as needed. They own outcomes end to end, lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data science, and program management, and stay close enough to the details to know when something is off. The Social team is making Airbnb a place where you travel with, and because of, the people you know. Our strategy has three parts: scaling the social graph, building social features that make Airbnb fun and useful for you and your friends, and creating social experiences that help people form new relationships and strengthen existing ones in real life. Each part has its own dedicated pod of engineers, designers, and program partners. The Difference You Will Make As Product Marketing Manager for Social Features, you'll lead a new pod that turns guests' connections into reasons to come back to Airbnb. You'll own the features people use with their friends: the travel map and sharing it, group travel tools, recommendations from people you know, and how connections are woven across Airbnb to make the whole travel experience better. You'll own the outcome, not just the roadmap: you'll make the calls on scope and priority with a dedicated engineering lead, engineers, and design partner, and be accountable for the results. You'll take features from brief to launch, use experiment results to decide what to build next, and grow how often guests plan, book, and share trips with the people they know.
