About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role: We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Vercel cloud product team. You will own the Storage product portfolio where applications and agents keep their data on Vercel. That covers Blob for blob storage, Drives for persistent filesystems, and future database and key value storage products. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, and you'll report to the Product Lead. If you're based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What You Will Do: Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Vercel's storage portfolio (blob storage, persistent filesystems, database, and key/value storage). Ensure storage products integrate seamlessly with the rest of Vercel's cloud (Functions, backend services, Sandboxes, Daemons) to enable fully functional applications and agents. Set and hold the bar for performance, availability, and durability across the portfolio, and make the call when those goals trade off against speed or cost. Shape pricing and packaging for storage so it scales with customers from hobbyist to large Enterprises. Partner with Engineering, Design, and DX to ship primitives that other Vercel product teams build on. Work directly with Enterprise customers and the field to unblock adoption on scale, compliance, and data locality and encryption requirements. Use usage, performance, and reliability data to decide what to build next and what to stop doing. About You: You've shipped storage, database, or data infrastructure products, such as object storage, relational databases, or key-value stores. You can go deep on each storage solution and their tradeoffs, and explain them clearly to engineers and customers. You've owned multiple connected product areas and set direction that other product teams built against. You've worked directly with Enterprise customers on data and storage requirements and turned them into roadmap decisions. Bonus If You: Have worked at cloud provider or data storage provider. Have an engineering background or have built software yourself. Have experience with compliance and security requirements in enterprise procurement. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000 - $312,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.  Disclosures: Privacy: Please review our Job Applicant Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your data. Datadog is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help shape the future of our anomaly detection platform. Our team builds and operates high-scale distributed systems that process streaming and batch data, working alongside machine learning systems to automatically identify potential issues in our customers' environments. As we expand these capabilities across Datadog's products, you'll play a key role in defining the technical direction, evolving our architecture, and building systems that surface meaningful insights to customers without requiring manual configuration. This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges at scale while influencing the direction of a platform that powers critical customer experiences. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. You have a strong understanding of streaming and batch processing architectures, including the challenges of processing large volumes of data with low latency. You can drive technical strategy beyond your immediate team, collaborating with engineering leaders and product partners to translate customer needs into scalable platform solutions. You are comfortable working across technologies and learning new systems; experience with technologies such as Flink, Kafka, Cassandra, Go, or Python is a plus. You bring a product-oriented mindset and can connect technical decisions to customer outcomes; familiarity with machine learning systems or deploying models in production is a plus, but not required. Benefits and Growth: Opportunities to grow as a technical leader while influencing the architecture and direction of shared capabilities used across Datadog products. Exposure to complex engineering challenges involving large-scale distributed systems, real-time data processing, and machine learning. Collaboration with experienced engineers, product managers, and data scientists across multiple teams. Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join:  On the Hotels CX team at Airbnb, we support the guests who book with HotelTonight and the hotels who host them on HotelTonight and Airbnb. Hotels are a growing part of what Airbnb offers travelers, and it's an area the company is investing in heavily right now, which means this team's work sits at the center of how that experience takes hold. Every guest we take care of and every hotel partner we support well shapes how hotels grow on Airbnb. The Difference You Will Make: As a Hotels CX Supervisor, you'll coach, motivate, and manage a team of Hotel Specialists and Team Specialists, making sure they have what they need to serve our guests and our hotel partners exceptionally. You'll work closely with Hotels CX leadership to evaluate and manage team performance and quality, and to execute the processes and policies that deliver a seamless experience. A Typical Day:  Builds and Nurtures Team Engagement and Well Being Own and manage end to end people strategy and operations within your team, including onboarding, talent development, and engagement. Hold regular one on ones, used for coaching and development rather than status updates. Ensure engagement by building strong connections and translating Airbnb's mission into meaningful, clear goals for your team. Lead with empathy to establish approachability, and to support and challenge the team to meet and exceed expectations. Enable professional and personal growth through feedback, opportunity creation, and expectation setting. Handle day to day management duties: scheduling, time off approvals, team meetings, and basic HR related matters. Build morale by sharing wins, fostering open dialogue, and creating a sense of belonging. Performance Accountability Manage individual performance to ensure policy compliance and delivery against quality, efficiency, and other performance targets. Hold team members accountable fairly and equitably by setting clear expectations, following up individually, and coaching in a way tailored to each person. Deliver difficult feedback directly and early rather than letting issues accumulate. Recognize strong performance specifically and visibly. Think critically about policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to improve Hotels CX performance. Operational Execution Lead the team toward company and strategic goals, following the Operations Manager's direction and collaborating on recommendations for service improvements. Prioritize the team's work based on seasonality and the needs of guests, hotel partners, and the business. Work closely with fellow Supervisors and maintain a strong connection to partner management site leads supporting external teams. Provide consistent feedback and recommendations to Hotels CX stakeholders to support continuous improvement. Stay connected to the customer by handling occasional escalated issues. Own projects beyond your team's day to day scope, from process changes to service improvements, and carry them through to landing. Contribute to service enhancements as part of a small leadership team, where everyone carries a piece of the broader roadmap rather than only their own team's work. Strengths Coaching and developing others: You give feedback early and directly, and you adjust when it isn't landing. You know the difference between telling someone what to do and helping them figure it out. Building and nurturing engaged teams: You understand that engaged people make great teams, and you know how to drive that. You're team oriented and unselfish, and you motivate without needing authority to do it. Welcoming ambiguity: You can articulate the need for change and encourage optimism in those around you. You perform at a high level during uncertainty and move forward without every detail. Delegating: You share responsibility while holding ultimate accountability. You communicate assignments, expectations, and ownership clearly, and you trust people to perform. Managing vision and purpose: You connect your team's work to what Airbnb is building, and you get people invested in it. Improving how we work: You spot friction and bring ideas, not just problems. Your Expertise: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred At least 5 years of customer service experience At least 2 years of experience leading, coaching, or developing others. This can take many forms: managing a team, leading peers through a project or process change, mentoring newer teammates, or serving as the go-to resource on your team. Senior Software Engineer, Streaming Infrastructure
InternshipFully RemoteSenior$196,000 - $196,000 / Year
gomysqlmachine learningkafkaarchitecturerecruiting

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. Airbnb's Data Infrastructure organization builds the systems that store, move, and transform data across the company. Our Data Movement & Transformation (DMT) group is building a single, unified platform for moving data between Airbnb's storage systems, replacing dozens of one-off tools with one reliable, well-supported way to get data where it needs to go. This platform is the foundation for Data as a Service, a top-level infrastructure initiative at Airbnb. The Community You Will Join: The Ingestion team is the front door to DMT. We build and operate two managed, multi-tenant platforms that move data out of Airbnb's online databases for offline processing: SpinalTap: near real-time change data capture (CDC) streaming to Kafka for every Aurora and UDS table at Airbnb. DBExports: periodic full-table snapshots and mutation exports. Teams across Airbnb depend on these systems, including payments, fraud detection, financial reporting, search, messaging, notifications, and machine learning. Reliability, performance, and scale are the product. You'll work closely with DMT's other teams, which own real-time streaming infrastructure, pipeline orchestration, and schema management, and you'll have the chance to work across the broader platform The Difference You Will Make: Be hands-on (code, design, test) and work with partner teams, internal customers, and leadership to deliver multi-month projects on time. Design, build, and operate large-scale CDC and batch export systems that run across every online database at Airbnb. Help shape the architecture of DMT's unified data movement platform while it's being built. Improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of systems that critical business functions depend on. Make it easier for engineers at Airbnb to get their data into offline systems without needing to be database or pipeline experts. Take part in on-call and raise the operational bar for a platform that other teams build on. Your Expertise: 5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale backend distributed systems, such as data ingestion, streaming, CDC, storage, or data platforms. Hands-on experience with streaming systems like Kafka, and with how databases capture and publish changes (binlogs, Debezium, or similar). Ability to own and go deep in a complex codebase. Experience maintaining, analyzing, and debugging production systems at scale. Clean, readable, testable, and maintainable code. Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-working environment. Strong ownership and a track record of delivering on time. Nice to Have: Experience building managed or multi-tenant platforms used by other engineering teams. Familiarity with MySQL/Aurora, schema evolution, or large-scale batch data processing.
