Your mission Join anzel - The AI for the business of sport. Clubs, leagues and federations hold deep commercial knowledge, but most of it sits in spreadsheets and in the heads of a few experts. anzel turns that knowledge into finished work: sponsor ROI reports, pitch narratives, pricing analyses, partner fit assessments. Sports business experts who have done this work in sport write the skills in plain language. Agents do the work over a knowledge base those experts have checked. Nothing reaches a customer until it passes its tests. Think of anzel as an experienced senior colleague who has done this many times before. The role In this role you own the platform every anzel agent runs on, and you set its architecture: what we build, what we buy, what we retire, written down so people and agents work from the same decisions. At anzel, AI writes most of our code and engineers guide it, so you build alongside a small senior team, close to the customer. The hard part isn't the demo. It's making agents dependable for many customers at once: correct answers, each customer's data kept separate, and work you'd trust with a real sponsorship deal. What you'll own The harness. How a skill written in plain language becomes a reliable agent: tools, orchestration, long running work that resumes after a failure, memory and context, retrieval, structured output, model routing, fallbacks and rollback. Models and providers sit behind our own interfaces, so we never depend on one vendor. Tools and MCP. The tool layer our agents use, which tools each agent gets, how they're versioned, and how access is scoped and logged per customer. Safe agents and separate data, with our head of engineering, who owns infrastructure, security and compliance. Each customer's data is isolated, every tool has only the access it needs, prompt injection is defended against, and every agent's actions are recorded. Quality in the pipeline, evaluations run on every change. The test sets come from our practitioners and our evaluation engineer, so nobody marks their own work. Every run is traced, with the cost and time of each piece of work visible. The engineering system, continuous delivery, review with coding agents doing the first pass, and releases that roll back in minutes. You lead by building, with clear decisions and fast, kind reviews. Your profile Eight or more years building and running production software, or the equivalent built on your own. Real backend depth, APIs, a relational database, queues, long running workflows. Language model products that real users relied on, you can tell us about one that failed and what you changed. Retrieval that works, agents beyond a demo, and the judgment to know when an agent is the wrong tool. Evaluations that proved whether a change helped, y ou distrust a passing test until you know what would make it fail. Coding agents every day, several at once, without shipping code nobody understands. A security mindset from running systems that held customer data. Something you've built that you can show us. Professional English; German is a plus. Why us? You own the platform of a new product, with real customers from day one. A small senior team, almost no bureaucracy, your own machine and your own choice of tools. The work matters, it helps sport close better deals, price with confidence and put more money back into the game. Startup energy with backing, You get the pace of a startup, supported by XU Group's experience and network. A strong package, highly competitive pay that reflects the seniority and responsibility of the role. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually. Architecting Intelligence to Optimize 200M+ Daily Decisions As the intelligence core of our engineering organization, our Data Science team doesn't just deploy models, we engineer the fundamental decision engine that powers our platform. At a scale of 770 million users and 100,000+ predictions per second , we are solving a multi-objective optimization problem that balances user incentives, advertiser ROI, and long-term platform health in real time. Our architecture is built on a 1PB+ behavioral data lake , providing the high-fidelity input necessary to train deep learning models that predict individual user engagement with precision. We aren't just optimizing clicks, we are dynamically calculating optimal reward structures to sustain a global value exchange. Engineered for performance, our stack leverages Tensorflow and PyTorch for model training , NVIDIA Triton to achieve sub-100ms inference . We own the full ML lifecycle from high-level research and feature engineering to deployment and A/B experimentation. The Role.. We are starting a labour optimisation programme with our Operations team, alongside FP&A and Data Science. The aim is to improve our wage percentage to sales while improving service standards at the same time. We are not interested in an approach that delivers one at the expense of the other. We are currently selecting an advanced scheduling platform to support this. The analytical foundation underneath it — how we measure productivity, what our labour standards are, how good our demand forecasts need to be — is what this role owns. You will sit in the Data team and work in close partnership with FP&A. Analysis alone will not move the number; changes stick when a Finance Business Partner and a General Manager can see the opportunity in their own House, agree the size of it and hold it in their forecast. Your job is to give them that, in a form they can act on. Key responsibilities.. Labour productivity analysis, identifying site-by-site opportunities for efficiency gains and sizing each one Work with Operations and Finance to trial changes to scheduling and measure their impact Build improved labour reporting, so Business Partners and GMs can see productivity, schedule changes and shift adherence on a daily and weekly cadence Support Finance translate demand forecasts into labour requirements, helping to build the models that turn covers, check-ins, treatments and occupancy into hours by role Partner with our Data Science and Operations teams to understand forecast accuracy and recommend improvements Connect labour deployment to member experience, so that productivity gains are demonstrably not coming out of the House Required skills and experience Proven experience in labour optimisation. You have personally delivered measurable improvement in wage percentage or sales per labour hour in a multi-site operation, and can talk us through the levers you pulled, how you sized them and how you proved the result A track record of partnering finance and operational stakeholders to land change, not just report on it 5+ years in an analytics role, with genuine multi-site operational exposure — hospitality, retail, leisure or QSR Advanced SQL, and comfort in a modelled data warehouse (Snowflake and dbt an advantage) Strong financial modelling in Excel, and fluency in P&L mechanics — wage percentage, flow-through, contribution BI development experience (Omni, Looker, Tableau or Power BI), building tools operators actually use Experience with rota, time and attendance and payroll data, and a realistic view of its challenges Able to evaluate a demand forecast critically — accuracy, bias, seasonality — without needing to build one Desirable Experience with a workforce management or scheduling platform — Unifocus, HotSchedules, Dayforce, Fourth, S4 Labour, UKG, Quinyx or similar An understanding of how labour regulation constrains labour models internationally, particularly the US — predictive scheduling and fair workweek rules, overtime and break requirements Labour standards or time-and-motion experience Python for analysis, or use of AI tooling such as Claude Code to accelerate it Experience linking labour deployment to customer experience outcomes Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Help build and refine the foundational data assets in Lightdash, so stakeholders and analysts can get to answers themselves. What we'd like to see Solid experience in a data role such as Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Development (or equivalent academic experience). Hands-on dbt experience, ideally. Hands-on orchestration experience, with tools like Airflow or Dagster. Strong SQL and a good grasp of data modelling patterns. Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse, such as Snowflake or BigQuery. Confidence with Git and version control. Clear communication, and the ability to work well with technical and non-technical colleagues. A detail-oriented mindset, and a drive to keep learning and build data products people can trust.
