About Decathlon Decathlon aims to become the best sports digital platform and open ecosystem in the world. We want to enable customers to experience Decathlon through many local sport-centric experiences by connecting many third-party actors and services, in a secure and performant way. Our digital teams in Lille, Paris (and more…) which bring together more than 5000 collaborators are united to build and scale digital products with the aim to always deliver the best value to our users. With a presence in more than 70 countries, Decathlon is committed to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Job Description Our PRISM (Supply Chain) is looking for an AI Engineer based in Paris. As an AI Engineer dedicated to agent deployment, you will be at the heart of a tight-knit technical team. Your will play a critical role in the industrialization, deployment and monitoring of our Agent capabilities. You will closely work with digital teams (Data, Product, Engineering) to architect the deployment infrastructure, design intelligence routing, and build secure infrastructure allowing our agents to interact natively with our corporate data and legacy systems. Responsibilities Design and deploy solid foundations that will allow our AI agents to be hosted, run, and interact smoothly with our systems during production release. Design robust pipelines enabling multi-step asynchronous agentic execution (e.g., transactional ingestion and writing flows), by implementing distributed resilience patterns. Integrate agentic orchestration SDKs (notably Google Vertex AI Agent SDK / ADK), bypassing "black box" limitations of managed frameworks. Efficiently orchestrate agents in production while ensuring proper information processing, routing to the most suitable models, and guaranteeing optimal cost and token usage management. Also ensure quality and speed of task execution. Strictly define the scope of action for each agent. You guarantee they only access data and actions for which they are formally authorized, respecting our confidentiality rules, while ensuring data security. Build advanced performance measurement and tracking pipelines to trace agent reflections and decisions from end to end in order to debug logic in production. Work with the team to define relevant and consistent data evaluation metrics relative to the defined functional specificities and metrics. Hard Skills Robust backend design (Python), operational mastery of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and pipelines (CI/CD, automated testing, observability, log management) to ensure robust production releases. Production-focused Python expertise, mastery of deployment platforms (Vertex AI Agent Builder, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform) and client/server integration protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Experience optimizing context windows for massive frontier models. Request routing to models suitable for the selected solutions. Ability to build test frameworks for LLMs (LLM-as-a-Judge, Golden Datasets), mastery of deterministic metrics and strict validation of output formats (JSON schema enforcement). Practical experience with Agentic RAG, Semantic Caching to reduce latency and API costs, or using prompt optimization frameworks (e.g., DSPy) Applied experience in supply chain, retail technology, or model deployment via Databricks / MLFlow Soft Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies and share them. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. Ability to understand user challenges and associated needs. Qualifications Senior Profile: You have solid experience (Machine Learning Engineering) with a strong focus on production infrastructure release. Ability to leverage managed solutions (Vertex AI) while knowing how to "dive into code" to debug distributed architectures, develop custom connectors, and bypass framework limitations. Demonstrated ability to evolve in shifting technical environments. Operational skills on GCP and understanding of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) to autonomously deploy the Agentic layer. Technical Environment Agent orchestration: Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Vertex AI Agent Builder Infrastructure & Cloud: GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. AI & Integration Protocols: Model Context Protocol (MCP), LLMs (Gemini), LLM routing & memory management. Security & Access: Google Cloud Model Armor. Execution Engine: Databricks, AWS EKS, Sagemaker Payload : Python, Spark, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow / Pytorch, Pyspark CICD: Github Actions Serving: Docker, Protobuf, gRPC Model registry, Model Tracking : MLFlow Orchestration: Airflow Documentation / code: Git, Confluence Data Visualisation: Tableau WHAT WE OFFER YOU Flexibility in work organization (location, pace) Freedom of choice of work tool (Mac, Windows) Upgrading of skills (diversity of projects, languages and technologies) Internal and external training courses Shareholders Remote Friendly: 2 days/week Monthly and quarterly premiums Joining Decathlon means being part of a dynamic team passionate about sports, innovation, and making a positive impact on the lives of our customers. Our Global Structure Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we're unlocking new possibilities as one global team. Software Engineers, Subscriptions - Backend Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, one of the largest online food ordering and delivery platforms in the world. As part of this role, you'll join one of our Subscriptions teams in London, focused on the core proposition and working across our three subscription programmes - DashPass, Deliveroo Plus, and Wolt+. You'll work closely with engineering teams across the US and Europe, as part of the Global Subscription organisation, to build and evolve the shared subscriptions capabilities that power loyalty and membership experiences for millions of customers worldwide. We're hiring backend engineers who want to be at the front line of what engineering looks like in the age of AI. 💡 Why Subscriptions? An AI-first team by design. We don't use AI as a productivity add-on - we treat agentic coding as a core engineering discipline. We expect our engineers to build with AI agents, to challenge what's possible when the human-in-the-loop is a multiplier rather than a bottleneck, and to push the boundaries of what a small, focused team can ship. Real ownership, real impact. Our subscription programmes are touching millions of users daily. You'll own features end-to-end - from the idea through production - and see your work matter at scale. Cross-org engineering at the frontier. Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt are working together in order to align subscription experiences across three of the world's leading delivery platforms. This is engineering at the intersection of product ambition and international complexity. A small team that punches above its weight. We're a cross-functional team: Backend, Mobile, Web, Product, Design, and Data - all in the same room. No handoff theatre. You'll move fast, ship iteratively, and be around people who take craft seriously. 🤖 AI-First Engineering - What This Means Here We're building teams at the forefront of agentic coding. This isn't about using Copilot to autocomplete boilerplate. We mean engineers who: Design workflows where AI agents handle entire task loops, from spec to PR. Think in terms of orchestration: what does a human review, what does the agent own? Build internal tooling and abstractions that make AI-assisted development faster and more reliable for the whole team. Stay curious and ahead of the curve - trying new models, agents, and tools as they emerge, and forming strong opinions about what's genuinely useful vs. hype. If you find yourself naturally asking "can an agent do this?" before reaching for the keyboard, you'll fit right in. 🔍 What We're Looking For Across all roles Strong engineering fundamentals - you've built and shipped software that runs at scale, and you understand what that entails: testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability. Genuine enthusiasm for AI-first development. You use AI tools daily and have formed real opinions about how to get the most out of them. Ownership mentality: you drive projects forward, communicate clearly across teams and time zones, and don't wait to be told what to do. Collaborative instincts - the Subscriptions domain sits at the intersection of consumer mobile, web, backend, and data. Cross-functional work is the norm, not the exception. 🙌 About You You've built and shipped real software - products, platforms, APIs, apps - and you know what it takes to keep things running reliably in production. You have opinions about architecture but hold them lightly. You write tests. You read the alerts. You don't leave loose ends. What sets you apart right now is that you're genuinely excited about where engineering is going. You've been experimenting with AI agents and agentic coding workflows - not because someone told you to, but because you couldn't help yourself. You think about how to redesign your development loop from first principles, not how to bolt AI onto the way you already work. Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic's complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI. What Is The Role : The Platform Engineering Productivity team operates the CI, CD, and Release infrastructure for the company. We ensure developers can efficiently and safely deploy changes across our various environments and at scale. In an age of AI, the landscape is evolving rapidly from scaling needs to, more than ever, securing our supply chain. There are interesting challenges to tackle. We're looking for a proactive systems thinker who delivers on business-driven projects while identifying and driving the work that keeps our infrastructure ahead before scaling and security challenges become problems. If you're energized by work that makes every engineering team at Elastic ship faster and more securely, we'd love to hear from you. What You Will Be Doing : Define the roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD, from problem identification through org-wide adoption. Identify where CI/CD is a bottleneck, a source of friction, or a security risk before it becomes an incident, and drive the remediation rather than waiting to be assigned it. Design and enforce release gates covering supply chain integrity, artifact provenance, and release readiness, built to scale across teams without becoming a tax on engineering velocity. Direct engineers on your team through complex, multi-quarter projects: break down the architecture, assign the work, and own the outcome even when the execution is distributed. Drive clear technical communication and alignment across teams, and produce high-quality documentation for systems, processes, and architectural decisions. Serve as Incident Commander on high-severity supply chain or release incidents, and use each incident as a forcing function for structural improvements. Raise the engineering bar across the org through code review, mentorship, design review, and by setting standards others adopt voluntarily. Remain hands-on at the right depth: you'll review code, prototype approaches, and debug production issues, but your primary leverage at this level is through the work of others, not your own output. What You Bring : Deep expertise in CI/CD and what it takes to harden a release pipeline against supply chain attacks. Strong debugging instincts across the full pipeline stack: you trace failures from test runner to artifact store to cluster deployment without needing a specialist for each layer. Hands-on with CI infrastructure (Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), GitOps/ArgoCD, and Kubernetes. You use AI to accelerate your own work and your team's and you understand AI's impact on supply chain security and scale. A track record of multi-quarter, cross-org ownership: you've identified the right problem, designed the solution, and gotten organizations that didn't report to you to change how they work. The judgment to push back on a prescribed plan when it's the wrong call, and the credibility to get alignment on a better approach. Experience directing the work of other engineers toward outcomes not just collaborating, but breaking down complex problems into executable work and holding the outcome.
