You will work closely with engineering, product, and client-facing teams to turn advanced ML methods into production-ready solutions that can be trusted in real customer environments. The role blends applied research with practical delivery, and requires someone who can work collaboratively, surface risks and limitations, and communicate technical decisions clearly. Who You Are: Experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI, gained through industry roles, applied research, or a combination of both, with evidence of applying ML to practical problems. Strong programming skills in Python, with practical experience using scientific computing and ML libraries such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Experience contributing to the deployment or support of ML systems, or a good understanding of how models move from experimentation into production, including cloud-based environments. Strong grounding in statistical modelling, machine learning experimentation, and evaluation. Experience working with time-series, high-dimensional, or imperfect real-world datasets. Strong technical curiosity and a habit of keeping up with current ML and AI research. Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, and able to explain technical decisions clearly to different audiences. Preferred: (if applicable) Background in engineering, physics, chemistry, or another STEM discipline connected to complex physical systems. Experience with anomaly detection, optimisation, reliability-focused modelling, or related approaches in industrial settings. Experience building or experimenting with agents or autonomous systems. Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and efficient compute practices. Experience working with sparse, noisy, or imperfect real-world data from labs, heavy industry, or other applied environments. Track record of collaborating closely with deployed or client-facing teams to bring advanced methods into operational use. Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams - even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk. You love applying advanced ML to real-world, high-value physical engineering problems. You're curious about agentic and autonomous approaches and how they can reshape engineering workflows. You enjoy taking ML solutions from research and modelling toward production delivery, and want to build reusable, high-quality systems. Why CoreWeave? Here at The Exploration Company, we are building spacecrafts for humanity. About The Exploration Company At The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable orbital space vehicle that aims to eventually be refuelled in orbit, carrying cargo and potentially humans in the long run. The heart of a spacecraft lies in its engine, which is why we develop our own propulsion systems, aiming for the highest level of efficiency and reliability. Role Summary We are seeking a Junior Engine Control System & Monitoring Engineer to join the engine control and monitoring team of Storm, our high-thrust LOX/LCH4 cryogenic rocket engine. Working alongside senior control engineers, you will develop and test control and monitoring algorithms, work with the engine functional models provided by the functional team, contribute to setting up the controller development environment, and help verify the controller through Model-, Software- and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and during engine test campaigns. This is an entry-level, hands-on role for a recent graduate with strong control fundamentals who wants to learn on real hardware and progressively grow into full ownership of safety-critical engine control functions. Key responsibilities: 1. Control & Monitoring Algorithm Development • Design and implement engine control and monitoring algorithms, following the software team's rules, guidelines and auto-coding practices. • Contribute to the definition of the engine regulation strategy (thrust and mixture ratio control, chill-down, start-up and shutdown transients) together with functional and system engineers. • Support the definition of control and monitoring requirements for engine subsystems (valves, pumps, sensors, controller, software). 2. A master's thesis, internship or academic project in control, propulsion or embedded systems is a strong plus. • Solid fundamentals in control theory, both classical and modern (state-space, robustness, digital control). • Practical use of MATLAB/Simulink and Python through coursework or projects; basic knowledge of C/C++. • Basic understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, and a strong interest in cryogenic propulsion and turbomachinery. • Fluent in English. Nice to Have: • Exposure to MiL/SiL/HiL testing or real-time embedded systems. • Experience with auto-coding from Simulink models. • Familiarity with safety-critical design practices, reliability engineering or failure mode analysis. • Interest or experience in data science applied to health monitoring and anomaly detection. • Knowledge of space standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, NASA-HBK…). • German and/or French. Skills & Behaviours: • Eagerness to learn and to take on increasing ownership under the guidance of senior engineers. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to draw useful conclusions from partial or contradictory data. • Clear oral and written communication; comfortable working closely with engine, avionics, software and test teams. • Organised, able to prioritise tasks and deliver within time constraints. • Positive, flexible attitude and enthusiasm for space exploration. • Behaviour consistent with The Exploration Company's core values of Mission, Vision, Integrity, Excellence and Teamwork. Why you should join us! What makes us special here at The Exploration Company and why we think you will enjoy working here is: We're Agile - we make decisions fast whilst keeping our goals and systems in mind We're Open and Collaborative - we are transparent about risks and obstacles, so that we can cooperate to overcome them We have a lot of Fun - we refuel our energy knowing we are democratising space. Financial Controller (w/m/d)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
tableaufp&aexcelcompliancecomplianceonboarding

TebiAmsterdam, Germany7 days ago

About us: Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights. Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Finland already love running on Tebi. About the role: Restaurant owners trust other restaurant owners. They listen to the chef down the street, their wine supplier and their accountant long before they listen to an ad. That's why our events work. When we launched in Berlin, we hosted a four-hands dinner with two local merchants and a well-known food creator. We believe that's what builds credibility, trust, and ultimately a warm prospect list. We're hiring an Events & Community Manager to turn that into a program that runs in several markets at the same time. You'll plan and run our partner and owned events, and find new ways to grow Tebi through the hospitality community in each city, neighbourhood and market. You'll work closely with our local sales teams so every event and partnership turns into real conversations. This is a hands-on role. One week you'll be hosting a merchant dinner in Milan, the next you'll be setting up a distributor breakfast in Amsterdam. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with our Marketing team to extend these programs to our channel ecosystem, plus align closely with the General Managers and Account Managers in each market. What you'll be doing: Run events across markets: Plan and deliver partner and owned events in 2–3 markets at a time, from intimate merchant dinners and industry breakfasts to city launches. You own the calendar, budget, venues, suppliers, guest lists and the plan for the night. Build the playbook as you go: Turn each event into templates, checklists and supplier lists, so we can launch a city campaign in weeks, not months. Improve them after every event. Build local partner networks: Find the people operators already trust: drinks distributors, wholesalers, food creators, hospitality associations, accountants and the advisers who help new venues open. Build partnerships that bring us introductions and referrals, not just logos. Put our merchants front and center: Work with our best merchants as hosts and anchors, so prospects hear about Tebi from the people they respect. Turn connections into pipeline: Agree with local Sales and Account Management who to involve, how to follow up and who owns what conversations. Track every event in HubSpot from invite to demo to signed merchant. Grow Tebi through the community: Find new ways to reach operators through the people and places they already trust, in each city, neighborhood and across borders. Keep guests and partners engaged after events, so one introduction leads to the next. Open new community channels: Test new ways to grow through our close-knit industry, such as an affiliate or referral program for partners, sharing useful insights from our merchants, and showing up in the forums and groups where operators talk shop. Capture the stories: Work with our creative team and relevant freelancers to turn events and partner moments into social content, case studies and sales material. How we'll measure success: Events delivered each quarter across markets, on time and on budget Demos, pipeline and new merchants from each event and partnership Introductions, referrals and leads from partners, affiliates and community channels Cost per demo compared with our other channels What you'll bring: Have built something people show up for: an event series, a supper club, a community, a program. You can point to what it led to, not just how many people came Feel at home in hospitality. You've worked in or around restaurants, bars or food and drink brands, and you're comfortable leading a room full of operators Are high agency. You own your calendar, your relationships and your results, and you don't wait to be told what to do Build your own playbook when there isn't one, and you enjoy doing the work as much as planning it Know the difference between a real community and a guest list See growth opportunities beyond events, and are curious enough to test them Can run several markets at once without dropping details, and are happy to travel regularly Track what you do: comfortable with a CRM (HubSpot a plus), UTMs and simple reporting Speak fluent English. Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish or a Nordic language is a plus Typically this means 3–5 years in events, community, field marketing or partnerships, but we care more about what you've built than how long you've been doing it. This role isn't for you if: You'd rather plan the program than run it You need a fixed playbook and a clear org chart to get going You're not willing to roll up your sleeves on the night Benefits: Start-up Equity Competitive Salary Lunch Provided in Office Team building events Unlimited time off What is Restaurant Software? Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don't. It's a mess, and we are fixing it. From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it's a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy. How we use AI at Tebi We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed. At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn't make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Netherlands on Arbeitnow

Our day-to-day transaction processing is supported by an outsourced bookkeeping partner. You'll own the quality of that work, the reconciliations behind it, and everything between a receipt landing and a number reaching the board pack. Everything else in finance, reporting, forecasting and investor diligence depends on the ledger being right. You'll make sure it is: reviewing what goes in, reconciling what comes out, and closing the month on time. About a quarter of the role is finance admin.
