More than 50 million registered users and more than 50% of the Fortune 100 trust GitLab to ship better, more secure software faster. The same principles built into our products are reflected in how our team works: we embrace AI as a core productivity multiplier, with all team members expected to incorporate AI into their daily workflows to drive efficiency, innovation, and impact. GitLab is where careers accelerate, innovation flourishes, and every voice is valued. Our high-performance culture is driven by our values and continuous knowledge exchange, enabling our team members to reach their full potential while collaborating with industry leaders to solve complex problems. Co-create the future with us as we build technology that transforms how the world develops software. Fortune 500® is a registered trademark of Fortune Media IP Limited, used under license. Claim based on GitLab data. Fortune 100 refers to the top 20% ranked companies in the 2025 Fortune 500 list, published in June 2025. Fortune and Fortune Media IP Limited are not affiliated with, and do not endorse products or services of GitLab. An overview of this role As the Corporate Development Director, you'll help influence how GitLab invests to win: what we build, what we buy, where we partner, and what we should not pursue. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships. This role straddles strategy and M&A engagements. You'll lead research that frames GitLab's options: mapping the markets in and around our AI-powered DevSecOps platform, testing where we have a right to win, and turning that into clear recommendations for the executive team. When the answer is to acquire, you'll drive the deal process end to end, from outreach through close and integration. Success here is not measured by deal count. It looks like sharper strategic choices: a well-reasoned point of view on our priority markets, investment theses that product and executive leaders rely on, acquisitions that speed up the roadmap when buying is the right answer, and an educated no when it isn't. You'll own the wider market perspective rather than individual product categories, and work with the team's Analyst on the research behind it. What you'll do Strategy and research Own the wider market view. Research the broader market GitLab competes in, beyond specific product categories: competitive dynamics, AI-native entrants, technology shifts and where value is moving. Collaborate with the team's Analyst on the research and turn the findings into a clear point of view on where GitLab should play. Build an investment thesis for each focus area. Work with Product and Engineering leaders to define the problems worth solving, the capabilities GitLab needs, and what it would cost in time and money to get there on our own. Own the competitive and landscape view. Maintain market maps and a current read on GitLab's competitors: their strategy, product direction, positioning, pricing, and M&A and funding activity. Produce competitor analyses that show where we lead, where we're exposed and how rivals are likely to move. Flag shifts by competitors, hyperscalers and AI labs that change our options, and bring the implications to Product and the executive team. Define where GitLab should not play. Identify adjacencies that dilute focus and markets where the economics or competition work against us. Make the case for a no with the same rigor as a yes. Build, buy or partner Run the build, buy, partner analysis. For each strategic gap, compare the options side by side on speed, cost, risk, control and strategic fit, and bring a clear recommendation. Deliver strategic clarity to executives and the Board. Produce short strategy memos/decks and business cases that set out the decision, the trade-offs and what we give up with each path. Feed company strategy and planning. Bring an outside-in view of the market and the inorganic options available into annual and long-range planning. Work hand in hand with Strategic Partnerships. When partnering is the right answer, frame the opportunity and hand it to the partnership owner with a clear thesis. When it isn't, explain why. Deal execution and integration Own end-to-end deal process management. Validate target fit against GitLab's our target profile, product roadmap and other criteria, and build the acquisition rationale and business case. Drive our M&A process from intro call through the various steps through to closing and integration. Evaluate the deal. Develop valuation, commercial integrity assessment, impact on GitLab's business and provide negotiations assistance to the VP and the executive team. Lead cross-functional diligence. Run pre-LOI validation and diligence across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and People, and communicate findings clearly. Drive deal documents with Legal. Prepare NDAs, LOIs and purchase agreements with GitLab Legal and outside counsel. Own integration outcomes. Lead post-acquisition integration as the DRI, measured against the roadmap and business goals in the business case. Bring lessons learned back into the strategy work. Build the external network. Maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, bankers and advisors that bring us early insight and pipeline. What you'll bring Strategy and deal experience. 8+ years across corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting or technology investing, including 5+ years leading acquisitions end to end in enterprise software. Structured strategic thinking. You form a point of view from incomplete information, test it against data, and change your mind when the evidence says so. You're as comfortable recommending that we stay out of a market as that we enter it. Market research depth. Skilled in market sizing, competitive analysis and landscape mapping, and in turning research into a recommendation, not a report. Deal craft. Skilled in valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring, negotiation and integration planning, with experience across varied consideration structures. Technical fluency. A working understanding of software development, DevSecOps and the AI landscape, enough to hold substantive conversations with product and engineering leaders about roadmaps and architecture. Clear executive communication. You write short, decision-ready updates and present trade-offs plainly to executives and the Board, in an async-first environment. Influence without authority. You build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal and move decisions forward across functions. Ownership with collaboration. You own the strategic view and the recommendation, and partner closely with the team's Analyst on research and analysis. Preferred: familiarity with the DevSecOps, security, AI and open source ecosystems. You value the all remote lifestyle and share our values . About the team The Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team helps GitLab decide how to grow beyond what we build on our own. We own inorganic strategy: acquisitions, strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and AI labs, and the research that tells us which to pursue and which to pass on. We work across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and the executive group. We set direction and do the detailed work ourselves, with a high degree of ownership and transparency in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. How GitLab Supports Full-Time Employees Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being Flexible Paid Time Off Team Member Resource Groups Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan Growth and Development Fund Parental Leave Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you've built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. About the Role At Ramp, people are the single biggest lever on our trajectory, and the bar for who joins this team gets higher every quarter, not lower. We are hiring our first dedicated Recruiter for GTM Expansion, based in London: someone who can map a market, identify the operators who will outperform their peers and run a full-cycle process that wins them. The UK is the immediate mandate. You will partner with local and US-based leaders to turn an ambitious growth plan into a real commercial team, from first conversation through offer close. You will also help us build the recruiting approach, market knowledge and candidate networks that support Ramp's expansion into new GTM markets over time. The recruiters who do this best combine craft on the front end, research, identification and calibration, with execution on the back end, closing, candidate experience and pipeline discipline. We are looking for both. What You'll Do • Own full-cycle recruiting for priority GTM Expansion hiring, starting with UK roles across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships and Customer Success. • Build a sharp point of view on the UK market and future expansion markets: the companies producing strong talent, the people who outperform their peers and the communities that matter. • Use research, data and AI as part of your everyday craft to identify and qualify exceptional candidates. We expect a written market point of view, not just a slate of profiles. • Run thoughtful, personalised outreach grounded in the candidate's actual background, commercial motion or recent work. We care more about quality, replies and conversion than send volume. • Partner with GTM leaders to turn ambitious hiring plans into a clear profile, credible process and realistic compensation strategy. Surface hard market truth early and push back constructively when needed. • Own the candidate experience from first conversation through offer close: fast follow-up, clear communication, strong process discipline and a tailored closing plan for the candidates we most want. • Build real presence for Ramp in London through the right relationships, referrals and targeted community activity. The point is pipeline and credibility, not events for their own sake. • Work tightly with the wider GTM Recruiting team on calibration, sourcing support, insight and operating rhythm, while bringing strong local judgment. • Help improve how Ramp recruits for expansion by capturing what works in the UK and applying it thoughtfully as we enter new markets. What You Need • 5+ years of full-cycle GTM or Sales recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth technology company where quality and pace both mattered. • Strong knowledge of the UK technology talent market and a credible local network, or clear evidence that you can build one quickly. • A track record of finding and closing exceptional people, not simply running inherited processes. You can point to candidates you identified who became strong hires. • Excellent sourcing and research instincts. You can explain why someone is genuinely differentiated, not only that they have the right title at the right company. • Experience hiring across several GTM functions, such as AEs, Sales Leadership, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships, Customer Success or RevOps. • Strong candidate-closing judgment. You listen closely, understand what each candidate is weighing and can build conviction against serious alternatives. • The confidence to influence senior leaders, challenge a mis-scoped search and make a hiring process better without creating unnecessary friction. • Comfort using data to understand funnel health, diagnose problems and hold an honest conversation about what needs to change. • High ownership. You book the next step while you have the candidate, chase what is stuck and do not wait for a detailed brief to get useful work moving. • Specific, sharp written communication. Your outreach and candidate updates should never feel template-driven. Nice to Have • Experience recruiting for a fintech, SaaS, infrastructure or similarly complex B2B product. • Experience joining a company as the first recruiter in a new geography, or helping to scale an international business. • Experience building an AI-augmented recruiting research workflow. Why this Role You will have unusual ownership over one of Ramp's most important growth priorities, with the support of an established Talent team rather than the isolation of a one-person recruiting function. The work is practical and high impact: build the UK commercial team, help leaders make better hiring decisions and raise the bar for how Ramp recruits as it enters new markets. About Kyra Kyra is an enterprise influencer marketing platform working with brands like SharkNinja, Coach, H&M, Ray-Ban, and Converse. Our platform manages the full lifecycle — creator discovery, campaign management, content review, payments, analytics, and AI-powered intelligence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. About the role Paid amplification is how our creator work reaches beyond organic. This role sits alongside our Director of Paid Strategy and owns the performance of paid campaigns across our client portfolio — planning them, running them, and being the person in the room who can explain what the numbers mean. You'll also be the senior voice in the paid team, setting the standard for how we test and how we report, and bringing a Paid Media Executive up to speed as the team grows. Six months in, our clients should be getting sharper recommendations and our optimisation decisions should be faster and better evidenced than they are today. What you'll do Own the planning, activation, and optimisation of paid campaigns across TikTok and Meta, with YouTube in the mix — from media plan through to post-campaign readout Run a genuine test-and-learn programme against client KPIs: form the hypothesis, structure the test, act on the result, and write down what we learned so the next campaign starts further ahead Manage budgets of $1M+ and make the call on where spend moves, with the analysis to justify it Present performance to clients directly — regular reporting plus the data-led recommendations that come with it Mentor a Paid Media Executive, and set the templates, naming conventions, and QA habits the whole paid team works to Partner with our strategy and creative production teams so paid and creator work are planned together, not bolted on Track platform and channel changes and tell us what to do differently because of them What you'll bring 5+ years in digital paid media, in-house or agency-side, with deep hands-on ownership of TikTok and Meta AI Savvy, experience using AI in your workflow (Claude preferred). A track record of improving campaign performance through analysis you did yourself — you can walk us through a specific example Experience managing paid budgets of $1M+ and being accountable for the outcome High proficiency in Excel and strong numeracy — you're comfortable being the person who checks the maths The judgement to make a call that affects client performance and defend it clearly Real attention to detail on the administrative side: reporting accuracy, budget tracking, and campaign hygiene Comfort working with clients and teams across multiple countries and time zones Nice to have Experience mentoring or line-managing a junior paid media hire Background working directly with creators or on creator-led paid social Comfort with SQL or a BI tool for cutting your own performance data How we hire A 30-minute intro call with our recruiter, a conversation with the hiring manager, and a panel with 2-3 people from the team you'd be working with. WHO WE ARE Proxima Fusion is Europe's fastest-growing fusion company and the continent's best-funded fusion player, as well as the first spin-out from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP). Backed by over €650M and powered by a growing team across Munich, Zurich, and Oxford, we are developing the hardware and infrastructure needed to deliver the world's first commercial stellarator fusion power plant. Our concept advances the most mature fusion technology out there, the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator, through two next-generation machines: Alpha and Stellaris. Our work combines stellarator optimization, advanced computation, machine learning, and high-temperature superconducting magnets to unlock higher-performance designs that were previously out of reach. Turning these designs into a functioning fusion power plant requires excellence and ownership across every discipline, from physics and engineering to software, manufacturing, law, and business functions. TEAM AND ROLE Shape the architecture of the world's first commercial fusion power plant – Own system-level decisions that determine how a first-of-a-kind energy technology is designed, integrated, and ultimately deployed at scale. Solve some of the most complex engineering challenges in industry – Work across tightly coupled disciplines (plasma physics, magnets, cryogenics, manufacturing, controls, and more) to resolve critical trade-offs and turn cutting-edge science into a functioning product. Build real hardware with a pragmatic, fast-moving team from all over the world – Combine advanced simulation and systems thinking with a strong execution mindset, focusing on practical engineering solutions that accelerate the path to commercial fusion energy. WHY JOIN PROXIMA FUSION You will get to work on some of the most complex tech challenges to bring abundant, safe, clean energy to the world. You'll get to join and learn from an exceptional selection of accomplished and driven individuals. Do your life's best work and enjoy the journey. Get to show that big things are possible in Europe when you assemble the best talent. YOUR IMPACT As Lead R&D Engineer for the Stellaris tritium-breeding blanket, you will build and lead Proxima Fusion's blanket development from initial concept to first prototype tests. You will translate a defined R&D budget into a small set of parallel breeder-blanket concepts, developed rapidly with external research and industrial partners. Remote maintainability is a fundamental part of the blanket architecture from day one. Each concept must be thought with the power plant architecture in mind and demonstrate how blanket modules can be installed, connected, inspected, replaced and recovered remotely. The objective is to leverage existing public research, challenge the most consequential assumptions, learn from hardware quickly and iterate to a functional blanket concept for our future commercial plant fleet. WHAT YOU WILL DO Own the blanket design from initial requirements through conceptual design, prototype manufacture and testing, with accountability for budget, schedule and technical outcomes. Own the integrated remote-maintenance architecture for each concept, including segmentation, access, handling, service connections, inspection, replacement and recovery from failed operations. Own the compliance analysis across neutronics, thermal hydraulics, structural integrity, materials, tritium, decommissioning, safety and remote maintenance. Own the rapid fail-fast prototype: select what to test and lead its design, procurement, manufacture, instrumentation, commissioning and test campaign on ambitious timelines. Own the translation of test results into updated models, requirements, risk assessments and design decisions. Own and build the multidisciplinary, technical design team. WHO YOU ARE A Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, physics or equivalent experience. Have led the development of complex nuclear, thermal, chemical or energy technology from conceptual design into hardware and testing, under budget and time constraints. Able to lead multidisciplinary trade studies without converging prematurely on a preferred solution. Strong knowledge in several relevant domains, such as thermal hydraulics, structural mechanics, neutronics, nuclear materials, tritium systems, high-temperature coolants, corrosion, manufacturing or remote handling. Able to distinguish between analysis that enables a decision and analysis that merely adds detail. Comfortable structuring and managing technical work with external institutes, industrial partners and specialist suppliers. Willing to test critical assumptions early, learn from failure and stop weak development paths. Able to make clear and defensible engineering decisions under uncertainty. Experience with fusion blankets, fission-reactor components, breeder materials, tritium systems or remotely maintained nuclear equipment are an advantage, but are explicitly not necessary. INTERVIEW PROCESS Recruiter Interview (30-60 min) Technical Screening (30 min) Technical Panel (3x60 min) At Proxima Fusion, our mission is bold: making limitless clean energy a reality. To get there, we need a high-performing, diverse team that brings different perspectives, challenges assumptions, and builds together with purpose. We know that diversity of thought and experience leads to better ideas, stronger execution, and a more resilient team. We don't look at how you identify, what you look like, who you choose to worship or what ethnicity you are. We care about what you can bring to the table.
