What is Flagstone? Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work. Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It's our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage. A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That's why we're building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it. We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three. But enough about us. Let's talk about you. About the role We're looking for a Senior SecOps Engineer to take ownership of security operations at Flagstone. That covers everything from alert triage and incident response through to detection engineering and continuous improvement of how our SOC works. This is a hands-on role that sits right at the operational end of security. You'll spend real time in the alert queue, as well as building the detections and automation that make it better. You'll be right in the middle of complex investigations and P1s, while also shaping how the function operates. You'll also own our relationship with our managed SOC provider, setting the standards they work to rather than simply receiving their output. About the team You'll sit within Security Engineering, reporting to our Security Team Leader. In this role you'll own detection, triage and incident response, and act as the technical counterpart to our managed SOC provider. That means directing their scope, holding them to clear detection and response standards, and keeping ownership of anything escalated or high severity in house. Does this sound like you? You're an engineer at heart. You'd rather write the detection than describe it, and you treat detections and automation like any other engineering work: version controlled, tested and documented. You're the go to expert when something serious happens, and you can explain security risk just as clearly to engineers as to senior stakeholders. You're curious about new technology, AI included, and you have a clear view on where it genuinely helps and where it introduces risk. What you'll do You'll take ownership of our SOC operations and report on their performance and health to stakeholders across the business. You'll run investigations and incident response for complex or high severity alerts, managing parallel workstreams, keeping stakeholders informed and running post incident reviews through to real changes in detections or process. You'll own the detection engineering backlog, building, tuning and retiring detections across Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, mapped to a coverage model such as MITRE ATT&CK. You'll turn threat intelligence into detection logic and hunting activity, and drive our automation and SOAR maturity by building Logic App playbooks that reduce manual effort without losing judgement on the nuanced cases. You'll manage our managed SOC relationship day to day: defining scope and escalation criteria, reviewing performance against SLAs and acting as the technical escalation point for anything they can't close. You'll keep playbooks, escalation paths and documentation in shape so the practice scales beyond any one person, and you'll track metrics like triage time, false positive rate and coverage gaps to drive continuous improvement. You'll also explore and introduce AI assisted tooling into SOC workflows, such as triage and enrichment copilots, detection authoring and alert summarisation, where it clearly makes a difference, with sensible boundaries on where human judgement stays in the loop. What you'll bring 5+ years in a SOC, security operations or detection engineering role, with progression into a senior IC position Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, building detections rather than just consuming alerts Experience running investigations and incident response, including communicating with stakeholders under pressure Experience building SOAR and automation content (for example Sentinel Logic Apps), including monitoring for silent failure A strong grasp of attack patterns and MITRE ATT&CK, and how to turn them into a detection coverage model Experience directing a managed or outsourced SOC or MDR provider, setting scope, SLAs and escalation criteria Practical experience applying AI or LLM tooling to SecOps work Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders Critical thinking and a real curiosity for new technologies and frameworks It would be great if you also have Experience in regulated financial services Exposure to identity centric detection (Entra ID) and cloud native threat detection GCIH, GCFA or an equivalent hands-on IR or detection certification Links to the SOC and detection engineering community, through conferences, speaking or open source detection content such as Sigma rules How we reward you: At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like "fruit and snacks". Instead, we invest in your health, wealth, and professional development. Here's a selection of our benefits: Hybrid working - Spend at least 1 day a week with your team in our collaborative London office Competitive bonus scheme - designed to reward and recognise high performance Flexible benefits budget - a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it's hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro-diversity coaching or something that matters for you. A range of salary sacrifice options to help you make tax efficient savings on electric cars, nursery schemes, home and tech goods. Around the World scheme - 3 months work from anywhere scheme Mental wellbeing support – Access therapy and mental health sessions through Spill Learning and development – £1,000 personal development budget to help you grow in your role. Private health care - Enjoy all the benefits AXA has to offer, including reduced gym memberships and medical history disregarded Medical cash plan - To help you with the costs of dental and optical expenses Life insurance and Income Protection- four times your annual salary for peace of mind Matched pension contributions up to 5% 25 days holiday - plus bank holidays, well-being days and volunteering days Enhanced Parental Leave – enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay. All are welcome. At Flagstone, we're assembling a diverse team that defies our industry's norms. Think this role could suit you? We encourage you to apply, no matter your background. Mission Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives. Role Purpose We want our engineers to ship regulated medical software as fast as AI now lets them write it. Our software includes medical device software, holds members' health data and keeps our clinics running, so every change has to be tested, traceable and ready for an auditor, and that is what makes this problem hard and worth solving. You'll build the shared AI engineering platform that makes it possible, setting the architecture and writing much of it yourself: a golden path that makes the best way to build with AI the default for every team, agents that do real engineering work end to end, and a pipeline that proves compliance on every change instead of documents written after the fact. This is a director-level individual contributor role, one of the first Principal Engineer roles in our software organisation, working directly with our Chief Software Officer. You make the key calls on which agents and tools we build or adopt, and you take on the hardest problems across teams, some of which reach clinic devices and the test rigs that recreate a scan room. What You'll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months 0→1 set the target architecture for the AI engineering platform, including the build or adopt decisions on agents, orchestration and developer tooling Ship a golden path for AI-assisted engineering, with shared context, tools and guardrails, that teams choose because it is the fastest way to ship Put agents to work on real engineering jobs end to end, such as feature implementation, code migrations, automated review and on-call triage Run agents in sandboxed environments with audit trails and clear separation from member health data Shorten the path from merged code to production for regulated software: safe releases, fast rollback, and compliance evidence produced by the pipeline Measure what changes with numbers engineers trust, such as the share of agent pull requests that get merged and how long a change takes to reach production, and share them openly Take on the hardest cross-team technical problems, inside and beyond the platform, where no one has the answer yet Minimum Qualifications You have designed and built platforms or core infrastructure that other engineers relied on every day, and you wrote a meaningful part of the code yourself Deep backend and distributed systems experience in production, with the judgement to make architecture calls in a large, existing codebase Your own engineering is AI-first: you use agents for work you used to do by hand, and can explain where they help, where they fail, and what changed in speed and quality You take a clear position on hard technical questions with incomplete information, defend it with reasons, and change it when the evidence changes Engineers outside your own team changed how they work because of something you built and the technical case you made for it Able to work from our London, New York or Stockholm office Preferred Qualifications Experience with durable workflow orchestration, for example Temporal or Azure Durable Functions, and a clear view on when it is worth it, since long-running agent work has to survive failure Work where software meets hardware or physical operations, such as connected devices, edge computing or hardware-in-the-loop testing Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

About Mistral Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms. We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited. The Role As a People Tech & Analytics Lead on the People team, you will turn people data into better decisions at Mistral. You will own the roadmap for our HR technology stack, from the HRIS transformation to integrations and data architecture, and build the analytics, dashboards and models that help our leaders understand how we hire, grow, retain and reward our people, and act on what they learn. You will do it the Mistral way: automating people processes with our own models, workflows and agents, and partnering with HR Operations, Business Partnering, Legal, Finance and IT to turn business needs into well-designed systems. You will lead a small team, starting with a People Tech & Analytics Engineer, alongside a large team of agents running our back-end HR processes, giving a fast-growing global company the clarity to make great people decisions at speed, with a seamless employee experience from hire to retire. What You Will Do Own the people-tech roadmap and the HR tech stack end to end: what we build, buy, integrate or retire, the configuration standards, workflows, roles and permissions that govern it, vendor relationships, and the data pipelines across HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity and finance so data flows reliably between systems. Define the people metrics that matter and lead analysis on workforce trends, retention and organisational health, turning insight into clear recommendations and workforce planning. Oversee dashboards, self-serve reporting and conversational insights, so managers get answers without waiting on a spreadsheet. Drive people-data governance, partnering with Legal and Privacy to keep people data compliant and AI use on it lawful, transparent and proportionate. Own the automation and AI roadmap for people processes: build agents and workflows with Mistral's own models and APIs, set the standards for how they're designed, tested and monitored, and lead cross-functional projects from scoping to rollout. Manage and mentor the People Tech & Analytics Engineer, set priorities, and grow the team as needs evolve. What We're Looking For Deep experience in HR technology and people analytics, ideally in a high-growth tech company: expert in at least one, broad in both, and comfortable building from scratch. A strong product mindset: you turn complex business and employee needs into intuitive, practical solutions, starting from the HR need, not the technology. Experience with global HR tech platforms such as HiBob, Deel or Rippling, and the integrations, data architecture and governance connecting them to ATS, payroll, identity and finance. Strong workflow-automation experience (n8n or similar) and a real appetite to build with our own LLMs, agents and APIs, with the judgement to know where AI helps and where it doesn't. Solid analytics foundations (forecasting, visualisation, modern data stack such as Snowflake or BigQuery), experience building people analytics and data governance on workforce data, and working knowledge of GDPR as it applies to employee data. Experience presenting to senior leaders, turning data into clear, decision-ready recommendations, and managing or mentoring technical or analytical team members, with the hands-on pragmatism to prototype and review technical work yourself. What We Offer We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
