The Role As a Full Stack Developer in the Onboarding & Enablement team, you'll own the front door of CM.com connectivity: the self service experience where customers sign up and start messaging in minutes, without a sales call or a single email. It is one of the most important topics at CM.com today, and your team is the conductor behind it. In today's tech market, speed wins. Customers choose the provider they can start with right now, and they value ease over a long list of requirements. Think of how quickly you can take out a phone subscription: that is the experience we want to offer. Our customers are people, but increasingly also AI agents, and neither wants to wait for a callback. Behind that one simple interface sits a complex platform. Every channel works differently. For example: WhatsApp runs via Meta, RCS via Google and Orange, and more channels and suppliers are joining. Customers should never notice any of that. The complexity is ours, not theirs. You will Build the self service onboarding experience that takes customers from sign up to their first message in minutes Turn every customer request into the right configuration across our own systems and external suppliers, fully automated Make it easy to plug in new channels and supplier partnerships, so the platform grows without adding complexity for the customer Drive automation across the full customer journey, for people and AI agents alike Own your work from idea to production, including how it runs on our infrastructure Use AI tools actively to improve your own work: experiment, automate, and share what works with your team Medior to senior full stack developer with hands on experience in both front end and back end Strong in Angular on the front end, and in C# and .NET on the back end Solid knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL Fluent in English and Dutch Nice to have: experience with DevOps or system engineering, as the team also manages its own infrastructure Genuinely curious about AI: you experiment with tools like ChatGPT or Copilot and you're open to working differently as they improve Believe you'd be a great fit for this role, even if you don't tick every box? Reach out to our Recruitment team! We'd be happy to connect and see if we can make it work together. What we offer As a CM.com club member, you'll have the following benefits: Onboarding : Join our unique 3-days Global Onboarding program in our Headquarters in Breda, a deep dive into the culture of CM.com. Healthy food: Daily healthy lunches and snacks to keep you energized. Effortless commute: The Shuttle mobility card, commuting allowance and Lease-a-bike options get you where you need to be. We have CM company cars that you can use for client visits as well. Invest in your future : A solid pension plan. Time off: Recharge with 25 vacation days, plus the option to purchase 10 additional days. Own your success: Become a shareholder with our Employee Share Purchase Program. Your Development : We support your growth and development through initiatives like the CM Academy, Udemy courses, exclusive meetups with thought leaders, the Young Professional Program, and our own CM Business Adventure (CMBA), ensuring you're always learning and evolving Vitality : Our Vitality Team organizes a year-round vitality program to support a healthy body and mind for all colleagues. Think of stress prevention workshops, ergonomist visit, weekly bootcamps, yoga sessions and our CM sports day. Together at CM.com : Weekly drinks, board game nights, karaoke throwdowns, yearly ski trip, and more! We have something for everyone. Our diverse perspectives fuel innovation and drive us forward. We welcome everyone, regardless of age, background, or beliefs. Before you apply We work on-site, move fast, and expect you to bring your own thinking. Priorities shift, AI is actively changing how we work and we embrace that reality. If that sounds like a great environment to you, we'd love to hear from you. Looking for a new adventure? You've come to the right place. We're an Amsterdam-based team of 90+ (and counting) with 25+ nationalities amongst us! A varied bunch of "Citizens of The World" with a wide range of skills and hundreds of thousands of kilometers under our travel belts. And we have something important in common (other than our very well-worn passports): We want to change the way people travel. And that's exactly what we're doing, with the travel app to plan, track, and relive trips in a smart and beautiful way. Polarsteps has over 20 million users already, but, for us, this is just the beginning. We have big plans for the future, and so we need even more talented and enthusiastic people to help us on our journey. Want to know more about us? Here you go. Your expedition: Frontend Engineering at Polarsteps We're a small team, doing big things. If you haven't seen our app yet, go ahead and check it out; you'll see that we care (a lot) about providing a seamless, top-quality user experience for every one of our travelers. And it is this that has got us ratings of 4.8 and 4.7 on the app stores (where we've been featured multiple times). But it doesn't stop there: not only did Google create this awesome video about us, but we've been mentioned in two of Apple's WWDC keynote speeches! We've got an impressive past, but we're even more excited for the future, and the impact you can make from day one is huge, with everything you ship affecting more than 23 million users. Even with that in mind, we believe in truly giving our team members the freedom they need to craft to perfection while encouraging a practical mindset to avoid under- or over-engineering mishaps. We are seeing enthusiastic and accelerated growth of the travel industry, and with that comes both opportunities and growing pains. So, if you enjoy creating thoughtful user experiences, obsessing over performance and polish, and solving the challenges that come with building a product used by millions, you're in for a lot of fun with us. Your itinerary What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. You will: Work on all things at the forefront of our beautiful and complex web app, and create new features that will impact millions of users. Help our Product team by creating prototypes and sharing your knowledge. Build fun internal tools like our teleporter. Take part in daily interactions with product managers, designers, other engineers, and the rest of our team, we believe in a deeply collaborative environment. Proactively improve the resiliency, maintainability, and scalability of our platform, addressing technical debt when needed or, even better, preventing it when it makes sense. The equipment in your backpack What we're hoping you'll bring with you. ✅ 5-7+ years of a strong frontend background. We work with React and Typescript and would love it if you are familiar with them, or a similar technology. ✅ A pragmatic approach to solving the problem at hand. You shouldn't be scared of tackling big challenges in automated testing, optimizing performance or developing new features. ✅ You use AI tools daily to move faster, but never to skip understanding. You can explain, defend and debug every line you ship, whether you wrote it or an AI did. ✅ A history of working on intuitive and beautiful front-end solutions ✅ Experience working in an Agile team environment. ✅ A keen eye on User Experience Bonus points for Tanstack, Playwright, Python, Node.js ✨ 1st class extras Some cool things to make the journey extra sweet. Salary range: Between EUR 68.000 - 80.000 (medior level) and EUR 84.000 and 99.000 gross per year incl 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours/week). Where you land in the range depends on your experience and skills, to be evaluated during the interview process. Equity: You'll be able to participate in our Polarsteps SAR Plan. A yearly free flight or train to a random location! Give our Teleporter a spin here . A shiny new MacBook to work your magic on. Hybrid working. Split your time between the office and your home, as you see fit. An extensive home office set-up, everything from noise-canceling headphones to a standing desk. 30 days of vacation (for adventures or sitting on the couch, it's up to you).
