About Lucid At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid's proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our "Compromise Nothing™" approach to the global automotive market. That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.   We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what's possible and shape the future of mobility. About the Role As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design of key product areas across Lucid's connected vehicle ecosystem, shaping how people interact with their vehicle every day, both in the car and on their phone. We are looking for a talented product designer with strong craft, product thinking, and attention to detail. Automotive experience is not required. What matters most is your ability to solve complex problems, design intuitive and elegant experiences, and deliver high-quality work from concept through launch. You will work closely with design leadership, product managers, UX researchers, and software and hardware engineers to bring cohesive, refined experiences to life. Why Lucid We believe the future of luxury is defined by experience. The best products do not just look premium. They feel seamless, intuitive, and thoughtfully designed at every touchpoint. That is the standard we hold ourselves to. If you care about the kind of craft that makes complex technology feel effortless and human, this is the team for you. As a designer here, you will work on products people interact with every day, solving complex problems across software, hardware, and connected services. The team is small, the problems are real, and the bar for craft is high. If you want your work to define what a modern ownership experience feels like, this is the place. Want a sense of the kind of experiences we're creating? Watch The Studio: Experience Driven | The Road To Lucid Gravity . Responsibilities Own end-to-end design for a product domain across in-car and mobile experiences, delivering solutions that work seamlessly together. Take full accountability for design quality in your area, from early concepts through launch. Create concept explorations, prototypes, interaction frameworks, detailed UX documentations, and high-fidelity UI designs. Turn ambiguous problems and abstract concepts into clear, well-crafted solutions with measurable outcomes. Partner with product, engineering, and research to define use cases, requirements, and design direction, involving stakeholders early and often. Work with UX researchers on discovery and validation, and apply insights to your designs. Collaborate with engineering through implementation, including design specs, reviews, and QA. Improve existing design system patterns and create new ones for the team to use. Facilitate design reviews, catch inconsistencies early, and mentor junior designers to raise team quality. Use AI tools to explore ideas quickly, build higher-fidelity prototypes, and test concepts earlier in the process. Qualifications 3+ years of experience designing high-quality digital products for consumer technology, mobile, connected devices, automotive, or other interactive platforms. A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design, interaction design, visual craft, and prototyping. A track record of shipping complete, polished product experiences. Strong UI/UX, interaction design, and visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail. Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, or similar tools. Product thinking that connects user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Clear communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Experience influencing product decisions beyond your immediate team. Ability to work independently, balance stakeholder expectations, and keep complex projects moving with urgency. Nice to Have Experience with hardware and software integration or multi-platform experiences. Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, or Cursor to speed up exploration, prototyping, or implementation. Experience with motion design. Experience with 3D or real-time tools such as Cinema 4D, Unity, Unreal Engine, or Kanzi.
