Kinsol Timber SystemsMill Bay, Canada13 hours ago
Full TimeOn-siteMidCA$95,000 - CA$115,000 / Year
dentalsteelpmpconstruction managementschedulingprocurement+4

*Project Manager ? Mass Timber Installation* Kinsol Timber Systems is a Vancouver Island & Oregon based company that erects and installs heavy and mass timber structures across North America. We work from an office in the Cowichan Valley, on projects that take us across Canada and the United States. Our team is high performing and genuinely professional, and we laugh a lot while we're at it. Both of those things matter to us, and we'd like the next person through the door to fit that. *The role* We're looking for a Project Manager to take mass timber installation projects from award through closeout. You'll own scope, schedule, and budget on fixed price contracts, and you'll be the person our clients call. Day to day that means building and maintaining the execution plan and schedule, tracking expenses, performance management, and billing against a rolling forecast, negotiating and administering contracts and change orders, coordinating procurement, and keeping architects, engineers, general contractors, and our own crews pointed in the same direction. You'll be responsible for seeing risk before it becomes a problem and dealing with it early, for holding the line on quality and safety, and for reporting progress in real-time. You see problems as opportunities, and propose solutions to those problems when escalating. When a job wraps, you'll run the post-mortem and make sure what we learned shows up on the next on. Expect occasional travel. Our projects are spread across two countries, and your ability to visit a job site is part of the job. *What we're looking for* You've managed construction projects for at least five years, ideally on the subcontractor side, and you can point to large-scale work you brought in on scope, schedule, and budget. You understand how baselines work and why change management is where projects are won or lost. You communicate clearly with everyone from a crane operator to an owner's rep, and you're comfortable negotiating. You also know when to dig into the details, and when to delegate them. Mass timber or structural steel experience is a significant asset. If you don't have it but you have a real grasp of the materials and the installation methods, we're interested. A degree in construction management or engineering is welcome, as is a PMP, though neither is a hard requirement. Working knowledge of scheduling software, Excel, and Financial ERP?s is expected. You'll need to be able to travel to the US as a business visitor on occasion. *What we offer* * Competitive salary ($95K-$115K) and a full benefits package * Bonus structure on a sliding scale, calculated as a percentage of base salary relative to organizational net earnings * Group RRSP with employer matching * Professional development, with a yearly educational allowance, and real room to grow as the company does * Innovative, sustainable projects and a collaborative team that supports each other *To apply* Send your resume and cover letter through here or to tyler@kinsoltimber.com. Ask for a Job Description if that?s important for you to review. We appreciate everyone who takes the time to apply, and we'll be in touch with those selected for an interview. Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Profit sharing * RRSP match Work Location: In person

You do need a Master's degree, basic knowledge of Python or SQL, and relevant work experience. Does the program include rotations? No, intentionally. In what language should I apply? English. Please include your CV and Master's degree transcript or any other relevant test scores (e.g., GMAT) What are the long-term opportunities after the program? This program is a fast track into a high-impact career at Picnic, it's an entry point for a long-term future, not a two-year stopover. Career paths here are as varied as the people on them. Some grow vertically, building deep expertise and a team around them as their project expands. Others move laterally - from Commercial to Fulfilment, Distribution to Customer, or wherever their strengths and ambitions take them. What they share is real ownership, real impact, and a career they shaped themselves. Find Jobs in Netherlands on Arbeitnow

In a nutshell What's it like to manage the commercial engine of Europe's fastest-growing online supermarket? At Picnic, we don't just buy products - we redefine how food reaches millions of homes by building smarter assortments, negotiating hard with global brands, and launching our own Private Label lines. 🥑🥐🍎 As part of our Category Management - Future Leaders Graduate Program , you'll take full end-to-end commercial ownership from day one. You'll sit at the intersection of quantitative analysis, supplier negotiations, and product strategy. What you will actually do This is not a rotation program or an advisory role. You won't just recommend what to sell - you will own the P&L of your category and execute every step yourself: Category Strategy & Improvement Plans: Build and execute clear commercial roadmaps for your category - analyzing performance gaps, setting growth targets, and continually balancing customer experience, gross margin, and long-term category health. Supplier Negotiation: Prepare and lead negotiations that secure the best terms. From initial outreach to signed contracts, you'll own the process end-to-end Data-Driven Assortment Strategy: Dive deep into customer purchase data, elasticity models, and unit economics to prune underperforming SKUs and introduce winning products. Cross-Functional Rigor: Partner with supply chain, design, and analytics teams to align commercial goals with operational excellence. Your superpowers We set a high bar. We look for top-tier candidates who combine sharp quantitative thinking with a natural commercial drive and zero hesitation to pick up the phone and negotiate. Finishing (or recently finished) an Msc in Business, Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Supply Chain, Food Retail, or a related field (0–1 year of full-time work experience) Practical experience gained via internships, student organizations, or extracurricular activities is mandatory - in fast-moving, high-intensity environments Comfortable working with complex data to drive tangible business outcomes, whether that's uncovering growth levers or building a winning negotiation strategy. You enjoy negotiating . You hold your ground with experienced suppliers, build long-term value, and back up your positions with hard data. You don't hand off contract administration, cost recalculations, or SKU setups to someone else - you execute every detail of your strategy yourself . You constantly ask "Why does this product cost X to produce?" and "Why are we not carrying category Y?" Fluent in English (Dutch or German is a strong advantage for local supplier negotiations). Not sure which track fits you best? Choose Category Management if you are driven by products, supplier negotiations, unit economics, and food trends. Choose Strategy if you are driven by app user behavior, digital storefront optimization, and campaign execution. In a nutshell At Picnic, we're reinventing the way people experience grocery shopping, from planning meals to enjoying fresh, delicious food at home. Surprisingly simple, sustainable and delightful. We're looking for a Product Designer to join our Amsterdam HQ and help shape Europe's fastest-growing grocery app. If you care about making things people genuinely love and want to see your work ship fast and matter at scale, this is your place. As a Product Designer in our Consumer team , you'll take full ownership of features on our core mobile app, shaping how millions of people in the Netherlands, Germany and France shop. You'll work in a dedicated product team alongside engineers, researchers and product owners, and be part of our wider UX Guild, a creative community that holds the standard for experience quality across Picnic. Grocery shopping is personal, frequent and essential. Designing for it is a rare challenge: high-impact, deeply human, and never truly finished. At Picnic, your work won't just be seen. Build and test fast: Create low and high fidelity prototypes to be evaluated with real customers on a weekly basis, staying in a continuous loop of hypothesis, test and learn. Deliver with precision: Document the final interaction and UI design requirements to brief and support developers during implementation, and stay close to make sure the experience lands as intended. Raise the craft: Contribute actively to Picnic's design system and shared libraries, and continuously explore new ideas, because at Picnic, design is never done ;).
