TO APPLY: Janet Soles and Associates has been retained to conduct this search on behalf of Calgary Police Service. Do not apply on The City's system. For more information about this opportunity or to apply, please send your curriculum vitae and letter of interest with the Subject Line - "DC Operational Support - Calgary Police" in confidence to apply@jssearch.ca. For more than 140 years, the Calgary Police Service (CPS) has played an essential role in the safety and well-being of Calgary. Established in 1885, CPS has evolved alongside the city it serves and today operates in an increasingly complex public-safety environment. Its work is grounded in community service and guided by the values of respect, honesty, integrity, compassion, fairness, courage and accountability. As one of Canada's fastest-growing major cities, Calgary continues to experience significant growth and change, creating new opportunities and increasing demands on public safety and those who serve within it. CPS is responding through evidence-based policing, modernization, accountability and strong partnerships across government and the community. This environment requires strong organizational governance, disciplined planning, sound financial stewardship and an ongoing focus on innovation, performance and public trust. Against this backdrop, CPS is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking executive to serve as Deputy Chief, Bureau of Operational Support. This is a significant leadership opportunity to influence the future of one of Canada's largest municipal police services and strengthen the operational capabilities, partnerships and specialized services that support frontline policing, community safety and public trust. Reporting directly to the Chief of Police and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Deputy Chief will provide enterprise leadership across CPS and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Service. The Deputy Chief will help ensure operational support functions are integrated, effective and evidence-informed, balancing immediate operational demands with long-term community outcomes and ensuring specialized services remain responsive to emerging risks, evolving community expectations and contemporary policing practices. Leading the Bureau of Operational Support, the Deputy Chief provides executive oversight to the Arrest Processing Section, Support Section, Traffic Section, Major Events and Emergency Management Section, and Strategic Partnerships Division. This broad and impactful portfolio supports frontline policing and investigative operations, strengthens emergency preparedness and organizational readiness, advances traffic and public safety, and ensures specialized operational capabilities remain safe, current, interoperable and responsive to changing Service and community needs. Beyond the leadership of the Bureau, the Deputy Chief will play an important role in advancing organizational change, service integration, community safety and public trust. Working collaboratively across the Service and with justice-system partners, emergency services, municipal and provincial partners, community organizations, social-sector agencies, educational institutions, Indigenous communities and other key contributors, the Deputy Chief will provide strategic leadership for major events and public safety operations, traffic safety, custody and arrest-processing operations, and specialized services including tactical, canine, air support and mounted patrol. The Deputy Chief will also champion prevention-focused, upstream and evidence-informed approaches that support vulnerable populations, strengthen social outcomes and build safer, healthier and more resilient communities. The successful candidate will bring at least 10 years of police leadership experience, including five years at a senior leadership level, with demonstrated experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams, strategic initiatives, organizational

ZeroKeyCalgary, Canada6 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMidFrom CA$95,000 / Year
goeditinghubspotcrmsalespartnerships+3

Description As Product Marketing Manager, you will sit at the junction of product, marketing, and sales, owning how ZeroKey?s portfolio is positioned and launched, from segment-level messaging and competitive strategy to the enablement materials a sales rep opens five minutes before walking into a meeting. The role calls for the rare ability to translate deep tech into value two very different buyers understand: the innovation leader buying a Physical AI data layer, and the plant manager buying cycle time, error-proofing, and throughput. You are a strong writer and a sharp thinker, someone who tests messaging against real sales calls, kills what doesn?t land, and treats a competitor?s win as a personal research project. This is a high-visibility role that reports directly to the VP of Marketing and works alongside our engineering, partnerships, customer success, and sales teams. You will own product marketing end to end, with the latitude and responsibility that come with setting the standard for how our technology is explained. Key Responsibilities Own positioning and messaging across the portfolio (Quantum RTLS, the Spatial Intelligence Platform, and OmniVisor AI) tuned by segment and buyer persona. Lead go-to-market for product launches and major releases: launch narrative, customer-facing materials, internal enablement, and coordinated rollout with marketing and sales. Build and maintain the sales enablement library (pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, demo narratives) and keep it current as the product and the competition move. Develop customer proof alongside marketing and sales: case studies, ROI narratives, and reference stories quantified in the operational outcomes buyers actually care about. Track competing technologies and vendors, run win/loss analysis, and stay current on Physical AI and RTLS market narratives. Gather field feedback (what resonates, what stalls) and feed it back into positioning and product decisions. Translate product capability into customer-facing content, including website copy, presentations, product videos, and whitepapers. Work with the sales and partnerships teams on segment strategy for automotive, industrial, and defence audiences, and equip channel and integration partners with the messaging their sellers need. Support packaging and pricing decisions with market, competitor, and win/loss input. Define and report on how product marketing is performing (enablement adoption, launch results, win rate in competitive deals) and adjust based on what the numbers say. Education, Skills, and Knowledge Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in product marketing or a closely adjacent role (product management, technical sales, strategy) in B2B technology. Requirements: Exceptional writing: the ability to compress complex technology into clear, credible, differentiated language. Positioning judgment: comfortable deciding what to emphasize and what to cut, then defending that choice with evidence. Technical fluency sufficient to work directly with engineers and translate their work for technical and non-technical audiences. Sales instinct: willingness to sit on calls, join site visits, take unvarnished feedback from reps, and act on it. Ability to prioritize independently in a lean team, own outcomes end-to-end, and make progress without a support layer beneath you. Strong editing and proofreading skills with close attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Working knowledge of CRM and marketing platforms (we run on HubSpot) and the willingness to pull your own numbers. <
