Company NewOrbit builds satellites that fly in very low Earth orbit, below 300 km, along with the electric propulsion that keeps them there. Flying closer to Earth means sharper imagery from smaller optics, and an orbit that cleans itself: our satellites de-orbit within a month at end of life, leaving no debris. Our AURA family of RF gridded ion thrusters powers our own NEO-1 satellite, with first flight planned for Q3 2028, and is also offered to other operators. Role Electric propulsion is what lets our satellites hold very low orbits, and our AURA RF gridded ion thruster is at the centre of it. As Electric Propulsion Engineer, you own the design of that thruster: you calculate it, design it, build it, test it in our own vacuum facilities and feed what you learn straight into the next iteration. You own the testing of your own designs, and your results decide what flies. Responsibilities Design Own the design of our RF gridded ion thruster and its performance calculations, from concept to flight configuration. Iterate rapidly to support NEO-1 and our customer thruster deliveries. Work with mechanical, electrical and control engineers on each new iteration of the ion propulsion system. Build and test Design and build the test rigs and equipment for propulsion testing. Assemble and operate test hardware, electronics and vacuum facilities. Run electric propulsion tests on your own designs and analyse the results. Plan and run the test campaigns for your own designs. Verify Turn test results into design changes, then re-test. Document every test configuration and result so it gives traceable evidence for system verification and qualification. Requirements Essential Strong knowledge of RF gridded ion thrusters, including RF plasma generation, ion optics and neutralisation. Hands-on electric propulsion testing, ideally with RF generators, high-voltage power supplies and thrust balances. Experience with vacuum systems (pumps, gauges, valves), power supplies, fluid management (high-pressure gas tanks, mass flow controllers) and data acquisition. Solid grounding in plasma physics, modelling, diagnostics and ionisation processes. Willingness to design, build and test your own hardware, and to work extended hours on-site. Nice to have Experience taking a thruster from design through qualification to flight hardware. Scripting for data analysis and test automation (Python or MATLAB). Experience running thrusters on more than one propellant, such as xenon, krypton or air. We are recruiting across propulsion design and test. Apply to whichever role fits you best - strong candidates may be considered for either. Why NewOrbit Space? Pioneering space technology - Your work on our RF gridded ion thrusters and VLEO satellite platform will redefine satellite operations and challenge traditional LEO. Ownership and impact - You'll have a level of ownership that's rare in the space industry, and you'll take part in the full lifecycle of satellite technology. Equity and competitive salary - Alongside a competitive salary you receive a company ownership stake, so you share in the technology you help build and in our collective success. Comprehensive benefits - Private health insurance with dental and optical cover, and annual health check-ups. Hybrid working - One dedicated remote day per week. Visa sponsorship and relocation support - We sponsor visas and provide relocation support for candidates moving to join us. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

ANINE BING is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team based in Paris. This role is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of ANINE BING. As a key contributor within our Paris HQ team, the Accounting Manager brings both strategic insight and hands-on execution to their work — supporting our global growth while staying grounded in the brand's DNA: refined, fast-moving, and always evolving. We're looking for a senior, hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a creative yet performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a project management mindset, a genuine sensitivity to Finance × IT topics (AP automation, ERP improvements), and a structured, team-oriented approach. They are rigorous, organized, and energized by leading a team and building scalable accounting processes across an international footprint. Reporting to the Global Accounting Director, the Accounting Manager owns the day-to-day accounts payable and general accounting operations across our directly-managed entities — France, the UK, the US and other EU markets. The role manages a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, and Intern) and acts as the operational anchor of the accounting team, ensuring clean books, timely closes and strong vendor relationships. The role is expected to operate as a true business partner to all operational departments, not as a back-office function. This is a hybrid position based at our Paris HQ, with one remote day per week (Wednesday or Friday). The role reports to the Accounting & Tax Director. Responsibilities Include: Own the end-to-end accounts payable process across all directly-managed entities: vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, expense reports, and vendor relationship management. Lead the general accounting operations: journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany bookings — ensuring accurate, timely month-end and year-end closes. Manage and develop a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, Intern): set priorities, coach, review work and build technical depth within the team. Partner with the Accounting & Tax Director on the design and implementation of accounting policies, internal controls and process improvements. Lead Finance × IT initiatives within scope: AP automation tools, ERP improvements, expense management systems and approval workflows. Support statutory audits and tax filings by preparing required schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation across entities. Act as a true business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail and HQ teams — building trust, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth vendor management. Requirements: 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 2 years managing a team of accountants in an international, multi-entity environment. Senior profile with a strong hands-on mindset: comfortable balancing managerial responsibilities with direct, detailed accounting work. Strong technical command of French GAAP; exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus. Solid hands-on expertise across AP and general accounting: full close cycle, reconciliations, intercompany, accruals. Proven project management mindset and Finance × IT sensitivity: experience leading process and system improvements (ERP rollouts, AP automation, expense management tools). Genuine business partner mindset, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with all operational departments. Proven people management skills — including hiring, coaching, and developing junior accountants and interns. Fluent English required; French is a strong asset. Comfortable operating across time zones, including with US-based teams. Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce or consumer goods is a strong plus. Benefits & Perks HQ FRANCE: At ANINE BING Paris, we combine creative ambition with a people-first culture. Expect generous time off (including RTT), a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week, exclusive discounts on our collections, and private sales access — so you can live the brand as much as you build it. Style Perks: Enjoy a generous employee discount and seasonal wardrobe allotments — so you can live the brand, not just represent it. Performance Bonus: Eligibility for an annual performance bonus of 10% of base salary, tied to close quality, process improvements and team development. The target gross annual base salary for this role is between €70,000 and €85,000, depending on experience, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus of 10%.
